Met friends at Enchiladas Y Mas on Anderson Lane. This restaurant is definitely local with a neighborhood feel... looks like a previous home.. It has typical Tex Mex food...enchiladas, tamales and fajitas. Ironically we all got a different version on the Mexican plate - enchilada, rice and beans. I chose the chicken enchiladas with chili sauce....great taste and right about of food. Also, we received complimentary tortilla chips with two types of salsa. Amy, our server, was very attentive and was deftly managing multiple tables. Ice cold water served...check....meals delivered...check...checks distributed...check! The guests at Enchiladas Y Mas were diverse included families, friends, business people, and individuals. Laid back, take your time to enjoy your meal vibe...

You come here for incredible prices and strong margaritas. Super relaxed and busy Tex Mex food with zero frills. Their Spicy salsa is some of the best around. Street parking behind is the easiest option vs. their tight and crowded lot most times. $8 for 3 crispy beef tacos can't be beat.

Great food friendly staff and great Rita's. Service is great and place is an Austin original.

I highly recommend the frozen margarita and the cheese enchiladas with beef sauce. Both were excellent!

Beef fajitas for 2 is amazing. Not the best service, but food makes up for it. Margs are also good

Always extremely busy drinks are probably the best thing on the menu. Pretty authentic dining arrangement. Cheese wasn't the greatest don't plan on coming back.

Came here with a friend for dinner and I really loved it here! Our server was so nice and gave us good recommendations when we ordered and our food came out quick! I ordered the carne guisada and it was so flavorful and tender. The refried beans are also super good here. My friend got the chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce and sour cream sauce which I tried and the flavor was alright but the chicken was super dry unfortunately. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot! Very Mexican diner kind of vibe and had plenty of seating.

The food was delicious! The chicken enchiladas platter was delicious! Service was good. Emilio, I believe was our server and he was attentive. We will be back. Nice place that reminds me of a small restaurant in Mexico City

I was craving Mexican food so my partner picked this place. Pulling up, it didn't look very nice in the outside but to my surprise, there was a ton of business inside, so I expected there must've been good reason. The chips and salsa were pretty good, but the enchiladas were standard imo. I was a bit shocked that the rice and beans were extra and cost $3 so I didn't get them which was a mistake. The enchilada con queso was so salty but at least it came with a couple tortillas which I ate with the sauce. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's pretty standard and service was just ok and granted, I'm not a big enchiladas person.

The food is amazing. Our table ordered some margaritas and sangrias along with enchiladas and fajitas. The food was amazing I live in Missouri and I have never had a fajita that had such great flavors It was a bit of a wait but it went by quickly and was so worth it.

Why this place only has 3.5 stars is beyond me. Best enchiladas in Austin + boozy margaritas + super cheap prices = 5 stars in my book

Since they've changed management the food has gone down a little. Do t get me wrong, still like the fajitas but the beans and rice sucked.

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. The whipped feta is always a treat -- light and creamy with a solid feta taste, but not overpowering, served with a few orange slices and thinly sliced almonds, and pita. Special dish! Beet salad excellent, but the Fresno peppers had way too much heat, so pushed them to side. My wife had the Moroccan curry, which had a very spot on Moroccan flavor (been there 3x), and was a large, filling portion so brought home leftovers. I had the grilled pork chop which was large, perfectly grill with a tasty bourbon-based glaze, served with a large roasted garlic clove. Wonderful dish. My wife had a white wine that she enjoyed and my martini, slightly dirty with olives (to start) was a large pour and very smooth. Enjoyable meal in a nice setting once again ...

The standout was the Brussel sprouts...crispy with this absolutely delicious drizzle. I ordered the Mezze plate with a flavor explosion and many desirable texture. It had lamb kabobs, fresh salad (emphasis on fresh) with thinly sliced cucumbers, finely sliced onions and creamy feta (never had creamy feta), red round sweet peppers, hummus with the most delightful pesto like sauce, and olives. Great catching up with my brother and excellent meal!

We ended up ordering 2 drinks. 2 small bites and 2 unusual banh mi's. The drinks were good, then we got the small bites. Mango salad and shrimp skewers. we got the salad first which had a horrible flavor that neither me or my boyfriend could do, so we set it aside. we did eat the crackers that came with it. it was good. Then we got the shrimp skewers, which came and looked black. We decided to give it a try anyways, it was horribly overcooked. like rubber wouldn't even describe it. so we didn't eat it either. i ate the cucumbers that came with it which were good. We finally got the banh mi's which were ok we ate it but nothing special. Then came the time when server came to ask if we're ready for check. We ended up mentioning that we hated the salad and the shrimp. still untouched on the table. she said to give her a moment. and we sat and waited for 10 minutes. while they were talking about us and them saying "they did touch the shrimp" (yes we took 2 bites to try it obviously, then we didn't touch it afterwards) finally after 10 minutes they bring us the check. which they didn't take anything off of. so we paid $70 for 2 banh mis. left hungry with a horrible experience. We were still thinking of coming back just to grab some drinks cause they looked good. but after voicing our complaints, then those complaints ignored. Never again. Horrible.

Oh my sweet, sweet Sweetgreen…read more I've always loved their salads and have recently become obsessed with their wraps. Their caesar salad wrap to be specific. Everytime I order from a Sweetgreen the veggies are fresh and the portion size vs. the price is fair. I can usually get two meals out of one order. I want to give major kudos to this location specifically because I accidentally left my wallet while visiting on a Saturday afternoon. After not being able to find my wallet thinking it was in my house somewhere I decided to stop by the Union Market Sweetgreen location to check on Monday. After about 5 minutes of waiting the manager came over to bring me my wallet. Yay! All of my belongings were still in it. I'm grateful for them holding onto my items. I look forward to visiting this location more often especially because they have a lot of seating. And side note, be sure to download their apps. It's super easy to earn rewards if you go there often. Enjoy!

Their hours are a little earlier than most places and most Sweetgreens for some reason. I ordered online and customized a nice salad. I had to pick a bug out of it, but honestly I'm not enraged; I'd like to have those removed during the cleaning process but a small fly hiding in some greenery is a natural thing and these are quality fresh plants. While it is mostly a takeout, the people working there were on point with service, even holding the door open for me.
