Not only did they get me approved, they secured an APR nearly 10% lower than what I was offered from CarMax and Carvana. Joel (Sales) was incredible throughout the entire process. He even checked in on my deal on his day off and stayed involved the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. What stood out the most was that he genuinely cared that I was comfortable with the financing -- not just that the deal got approved. He even helped arrange transportation so I could get from San Jose to pick up the vehicle 2.5 hours away. That level of effort is rare, especially on a used vehicle deal. Gino (Finance) also did an outstanding job. He secured the lowest rate I've been offered in years and even discounted a warranty so I could have coverage without stretching my budget. The entire finance process was transparent, honest, and completely pressure-free. The service department also delivered. The vehicle was fully taken care of and everything was handled professionally. For over a year, we repeatedly brought our Kia to this dealership because we were experiencing a concerning jerking motion when stopping, as well as instances where the car would completely lose power when pressing the accelerator. Each time, we were told there was nothing wrong because the service department could not recreate the issue. After continuing to insist that something was not right, I finally took the car to another Kia dealership. They immediately identified the problem: the transmission needed to be replaced. Adrian in the service department repeatedly dismissed my husband's concerns and his insistence that something was wrong. After more than a year of bringing the vehicle in and being told there was no issue, all we received was a "sorry" and a response along the lines of, "We never had issues with it." This is the vehicle I use to transport my young child, which makes this experience particularly upsetting. I am incredibly thankful that nothing more serious happened while she was in the car. Thankfully, the full transmission replacement was covered under warranty, but that does not change how disappointed we are with the way our concerns were handled. We trusted this dealership with our vehicle and repeatedly raised concerns about a potentially serious safety issue, only to have those concerns dismissed. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car! What I cannot speak on is the price, and that is because the work Carlos did was both exceptional, and free of charge. I had a 1996 Ford E-250 I had just bought which was leaking coolant, showing check engine, and rattling with engine ticking on my first day of owning it. Upon finding this, I immediately stopped driving it, and began considering returning it (as the dealership had returns as an option within 48 hours of purchasing). I wanted to get a full view of the cars issues, but I only had 5 more hours to make the call, so I called numerous mechanics who said they didn't have openings for days or weeks. Carlos told me to come by in 2 hours, which was the first notable action. I arrived early, and he and his team immediately began working on my car to find the issues, which was, again, exceptional service. Carlos found the radiator was busted, and said he could check the rest of the vehicle, but if I wanted the car running again today, we'd have to order the radiator right then so that it would arrive on time, and they could install it that day. He agreed to order the part, and check the rest of the van in the meantime. If everything checked out, he would install the part and have me on my way by 3pm. The willingness and dedication from these gentlemen was exactly what I needed in my time of need. Ultimately, I decided to return the van due to issues with both the van and the dealer, so after Carlos did research on my particular van, a full vehicle inspection, and diagnosed my radiator, I asked how much I owed. He said nothing, as he hadn't done any actual work on the vehicle. Other mechanics quoted me $120+ for the diagnosis I was looking for if I scheduled a week in advance, and these guys did it same day for free. With their effort and willingness, you can tell they truly care about what they're doing and making sure their customers leave happy, which is exactly what I needed in my time of desperation.
