I told him what I wanted and he gave me an estimate then came out to take a look and some measurements. He was super respectful and while he was here he explained the design mistake I was about to make and saved me from myself. My wife and I re-thought our plans and made better choices, and Cris gave us a new quote that still blew the competition out of the water. His price was for 1/2" glass (as opposed to the 3/8" all the competitors quoted) and still beat them out. We ordered our glass and it came in super fast, and Cris and his team installed it even faster. They chose hardware that matched the existing hardware in the bathroom and did a beautiful job with the install. Then on the way out Cris fixed the hinges on my door, I guess because he's a handy guy and had a drill in his hand. Excellent work, full marks. 1000 points for Gryffindor.

This company was hired as a subcontractor through my general contractor for a painting job…read more Unfortunately, the work did not match what was paid for despite them receiving full compensation. I specifically paid for separate primer and paint, but the subcontractor only applied paint and did not use primer at all. This is a significant issue, as primer was part of the agreed scope and directly affects the quality and durability of the job as my whole home was VERY DARK CUSTOM COLORS. When this was brought to their attention, the subcontractor refused to reimburse any portion of the cost. There was no effort made to resolve the issue or take responsibility for using lower-quality materials than what was paid for. The owner of the company, Gary, outright admitted to omitting primer to save money and profit more from the job. The owner of the company was also very rude to me and my family in our home and told three different versions of his story, none of which were the truth about the work that was done in my home. While the job was completed, it was not completed as agreed, and the lack of accountability afterward was disappointing. Based on this experience, I would advise others to clearly document materials and confirm what is actually being used on-site before work begins. One positive note I will add is the painting crew did take great care in protecting my floors, fixtures, and furniture during the painting process.

So we booked them to do our house as well and they did not disappoint. Showed up on time. Professional but easy going. Communicated along the way so that we could comfortably co-exist for the day. He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. Got my kitchen painted and it was the WORST home improvement experience I've EVER had!!!…read more The crew showed up without coverings for their shoes and didn't even have all the proper equipment for the job (I had to loan them a step ladder). They completely rushed through painting my kitchen and missed TONS of spots. So much so that I had to point out the different places they missed 5 DIFFERENT TIMES and they still didn't get everything right before leaving. I shouldn't have to play foreman to a "professional" painting crew. They didn't remove any outlet covers or blinds in order to do a thorough job, poorly taped off different areas of the kitchen and then didn't remove all the tape after they "finished," and even spilled on my carpet because there was no floor covering put down. I ended up spending over 2 hours repainting the kitchen myself the next day because the work was done so poorly. To top everything off, I overheard one of the workers cursing HATE SPEECH against people of alternate lifestyles in Spanish multiple times while they were there. When I had to talk to the supervisor on the phone (3 separate times), she first tried to gaslight me into believing her crew was doing the job correctly. I then had to explain to her the truth of the entire situation because her workers were telling her lies in Spanish saying they did everything correctly. She did offer an apology and a discount to use her company on a "future" project (not the current one), but I would NEVER use them again or recommend them to ANYONE. Plus, they ONLY take Zelle (or cash) which was VERY inconvenient. This company had great reviews which is why I went with them initially for the job. However, I have NO IDEA how they received the glowing reviews because I could not have been more disappointed with how everything went down. I would NOT recommend using Mr. E Does it All for ANYTHING when it comes to your home. My kitchen was blue before they "painted" it, but these few pics don't even do the AWFUL job they did, justice.
