    The Italian Job!

I've eaten the "ITALIAN JOB" sandwich so many times that I can't count them. Eric's Deli is the only one that makes this exact sandwich. It is the most delicious Italian sandwich I've ever eaten. The employees are so kind there as well. I had the pleasure to meet Eric (the owner of Eric's Deli) today, on my way out! Keep up the great job! Your "ITALIAN JOB" sandwich is absolutely the BEST!

This is a very fun looking place. It gives me a vibe I'm getting me sandwich after hiking or skiing. I though my Italian job sandwich cub was ok. The rest of my family loved theirs! I'm guessing I just need to know how to customize mine the way I want. Ordered online and it was ready just when they said it would be.

    Half Sandwich Combo

I ordered through DoorDash and had no issues. It came really quickly. It was my first time trying Erik's and I was surprised to hear that it's a chain. I ordered the half sandwich of Pilgrim's Progress and soup combo (clam chowder). I added bacon to my sandwich and had it on Dutch crunch bread. It was really good! I especially liked how chunky the avocado was and the crunch of the clover sprouts. The Dutch crunch wasn't that crunchy. It came with a pickle and piece of bread on the side. The clam chowder was creamy and had a lot in it. I wish it had more clams though. Overall, a decent place for a sandwich and soup!

Okay who is not stoked about this being the first Erik's Deli? It was a mecca for my husband and I to make it here. We went for our wedding anniversary, LOL. Located off Mt. Hermon road in a sweet strip mall. I have a very soft spot for places that haven't been renovated to the modern look. Call it nostalgia. I've been to many Erik's Deli Cafes in the South Bay. My whole life, I never knew the mothership was in my favorite area area in the Santa Cruz county. I took a lot of photos and posted them here on Yelp. If you know your Erik's, they look like walking into an old gold miners cabin. This is part of the charm eating at any Erik's. Okay, with that said, this location is actually made with used local lumber from barns in the Santa Cruz area from the 1970s. So cool! We ordered our favorite sandwich, the natural high and a tomato soup. Can't go wrong. Looking forward to going back here next time we're in the area.

Ordered ahead online and all of my sandwiches were packaged and ready to go a few minutes early. Everything I ordered came out correctly including the substitutions and removal of items. Employees were very friendly when I came to pick up and were nice enough to give me paper plates to take along with my sandwiches. The location is within a big shopping center and could be hard to find if you are not using a gps. It's tucked away towards the back on the right side of the grocery store (I believe it was a nob hill).

Found this cute little deli on a whim, and I'm glad I did. My sandwich was delicious and very filling. I def could have settled for a half. The fountain cups are cute mason jars. Ordering was quick & the staff was friendly.

This place is a bit hidden in Scotts Valley down an alleyway in kings village. If you do manage to find them they serve up some tasty sandwiches and soups. Breads are fresh and soft and veggies are nice and fresh. I had the raging bull at my last stop and it was pretty damn good. Lots of roast beef piled up with roasted green ortega chile's, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts on an onion roll. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They have draft sodas and a good selection of premium beverages like sarsaparilla, lemonades and the such. Service was fast and friendly likely because we were the only ones in the place at 7pm on a weeknight.

In love with their sandwiches. My go to order on repeat is their farmers market sandwich and chicken pesto sandwich. Really like how fresh the ingredients are and this location is pretty convenient for stopping on our way to santacruz beach.

When I tell you my friend's coffee was bad, it was bad enough I would tell you to go get burnt bean water from a major national coffee chain before getting it here... and the whole coffee interaction was so very bizarre... She ordered a latte with soy. When they brought it to her, they handed it to her in a way the lid popped off and when she attempted to take it from them to sip the coffee, as it was overfull, so she could put the lid on, the guy pulled it back away from her as she's saying "it's fine" and takes it back out of her hand, walks back to the kitchen sink, and dumps out a good inch at the top before putting the lid back on and bringing it back to her. It was really weird to insist on taking it out of her hand and super odd choice to try to solve an ill-fitting lid by dumping out part of the drink she paid for. The way he took it from her weirded us out. It was not helpful and friendly, it was insistent and domineering. We immediately wanted to get out of there and get to the car... and the lid pops off again and again, every time she picks it up. The worst part is that afterward she noticed white dry powdery crud settled at the bottom, not mixed in. No clue what it was, but our best guess was they use some sort of powdered soy milk and they didn't mix it in correctly. TL;DR - Get your coffee anywhere else.
