Visited the cafe this past Sunday. I typically come and meet a friend once every 6 weeks and we have breakfast there. Disappointed I wasn't able to use the coupon that was texted to me for $5 off $15. The cashier stated it was only available if I ordered online. I have used several coupons in the past and have never had an issue but this past Sunday it was a problem and no resolution was offered so I wasn't able to utilize the coupon that was sent to me. The coffee and food have always been great. However, there should have been some type of accommodation for the coupon! Rant over. read more

Euro Caffe is a charming little spot in Orange that really does feel like a slice of Europe. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, cozy decor that gives off serious European café vibes. We came for lunch on a weekend and were surprised it wasn't too busy. We ordered at the counter and had our food within 5-10 minutes--super quick service, which was a nice plus. The menu here is massive--almost overwhelming--with everything from sweet and savory crepes to traditional breakfasts, sandwiches, paninis, and an extensive coffee selection. There's truly something for everyone. We went with the salmon toast and a panini--both solid, satisfying choices. The coffee was also good and rounded out the meal nicely. A cute little Euro inspired cafe located in Old Town Orange that seems to be a hit with the locals. As for me this foodie adventure didn't have flavor my eyes were seeing. We ordered the Cucumber Toast, Salmon Toast and their recommended Salmon Waffle. The salmon was good but everything else was not up to par. I really don't enjoy hard toast and with a sloppy presentation it definitely wasn't appealing to me. So yes I was a wasteful Willy and picked off all the salmon and left everything else. Yeah I know what you're thinking. LoL. I ordered the Caffe Fuerte along with a couple of their eye pleasing pastries but they were also a miss. I enjoy decadent desserts but they both tasted like sugar bombs. I was really hoping that the Mocha Crunch Cake and the Dulce De Leche Cheesecake would pair well with my coffee but that didn't even hit. My husband and I were out for an evening stroll and were pleasantly surprised to find that some cafés were open at that time. We chose this one. I'm a huge coffee lover and always order a cappuccino or an Americano (I find that's the best way to really taste the coffee itself). I really enjoyed the coffee here! I have not been to a euro cafe for about 10 years due to just not being in the area anymore from the previous location. The joy I had to see this location here though. I was slightly nervous since it had been so long and things could have changed but this spot did not disappoint. The coffee and food was as delicious as I remembered!! The service was great thank you to the team! I love the decor and overall style of these euro cafes! Any of their paninis can be made as crepes as well and vice versa. I love the options here and the lavender latte always hits. I was so excited to show this place to my husband and he was not disappointed either. Tip for first timers: USE THE APP this place gets very busy and the lines get long during peak hours. Online ordering is very easy here and if you want to sit down and eat come early. I enjoy coming here due to the comfortable seating and great customer service. The chai latte is one of my go-tos. Baked goods are a hit or miss on freshness. I've been unlucky and gotten a more stale croissant but it's worth nothing that this is not always the case! Some friendly suggestions would be to please lower the volume on music. Its so loud it makes it distracting to have a quiet conversation and/or focus if working on your computer (earbuds however are a quick fix). I still recommend this place. I'm updating my review because I really do like the place and my issue was really just with a specific person working that night. This place is quaint, hours are good, and the coffee is yummy. They have a reasonable selection of desserts that aren't fixed. My one qualm is that the desserts are in the refrigerated display that leaves everything way too cold. I got a creme brulee cheesecake bar the other day and I was hoping they would actually brulee the top - they didn't, so it wasn't that great. Just consider if you'd be OK if the dessert you pick came out cold. read more

Mocha, half sweet - not very sweet at all, just how I like it. It had a prominent chocolate flavor without all the sugariness. Espresso flavor came thru nicely. Well balanced! Vanilla latte - delightful. Not too sweet, even for me who usually orders half sweet. Great foam, pretty latte art. Side waffle - thin round crispy and light. Real maple syrup. Served with melted butter, which was nice. When we asked for more butter, tho, that one was served unmelted. Very nice waffle and I can imagine that it makes a great sandwich for the items they offer that with. Side of bacon - oddly served in very small pieces. Not sure how much we were charged for this, but it seemed like a quite small portion. This is the very thin kind of bacon, nicely crispy. Steak and egg sandwich - really delicious, the pesto was a tiny bit spicy but not overwhelming. The steak was really nicely cooked. Whole sandwich had a lot of flavor. Eggs Benedict crepe, with out tomato sub avocado - they brought me this without the avocado I asked for and it took a while to flag someone down, but they quickly brought me out a side of avocado. The eggs were very nicely cooked and the crepe was delightfully thin and chewy. I would try other crepes here in a heartbeat. We came on a Sunday around 12:30 and there was plenty of space inside. They are clearly often slammed on the weekends and post a 1 hr time limit on the tables when things are busy. All of our food arrived quickly. Not the world's nicest presentation on most dishes, but the food was solid, prepared well and made me want to try other things in the future. Service was friendly and efficient. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Park in the Old Towne West structure on Lemon on the weekends and walk over instead of waiting your time trolling the flat lots for a space or the streets. It's a very short walk. read more

Service was good, there was one waitress operating the cashier so we had to wait in line for about five minutes before being seated. Not an issue though. The interior was well-kept and clean, and the dessert crepe was very good. The berries in the French Revolution Crepe were very fresh and sweet, and the whipped cream was delicious. I've been here about 4 times. I wanted to love this place so bad as it reminds me of Pandor which is 1000% times better. If this place was was any good, it must have been when they first opened. Or a total hit or miss. Each time I've come, it's with different people and something is off every single time. I've given them the benefit of the doubt but beware their terrible service seems to be a real problem. First they messed up my order, they take forever to bring out your food. So imagine having to watch your friends eat so their food doesn't get cold while they remake yours. On top of that they weren't apologetic but acted as if it was trouble. Then they messed up my friend's drink order. It was her first time here, she didn't want to bring it up but she said the drink tasted like she was drinking just oat milk. She ends up brining it up, the second drink also sucked. Again staff acted like it was my friend's fault or she was being trouble. Then I go with my son on a busy day. We sat on a table outside and they served our orders to go even though we had gotten a number. It was so strange, servers seemed to laugh it off when I mentioned oh we were eating here. Lastly, yesterday I go in and try to get the buy one get one sweet crepe on Monday. I was originally not aware of this deal and had just finished my order when my friend pointed it out so I asked the only staff there if we could get the deal, it was 3 of us ordering. She said no bc it had to be on the same transaction. I literally just finished my transaction and she was just working on our order. I said she could have mentioned it to me. She said the owners keep track and she didn't want to get in trouble. Excuse me, what? At most places staff enthusiastically share their deals going on. She was rude/sad looking, didn't provide the deal. On top of that the crepe was pretty empty for being almost $15 barely anything in it. Another person came out of the back and she had the other person deliver our order to us. Did she intentionally make it extra weak? We'll never know. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

First time coming to this location; I've been to the one in Santa Ana. When I'm at old town Orange on busy days, I prefer to park at the parking structure ( 5-7 minute walk to this place ). I really thought it was going to be busy on a Friday afternoon especially during graduation week, but service was quick and plenty of inside seating. There is outdoor seating, but limited. We ordered something sweet and savory. For the savory item, we got Le Salmon crêpe. I loved the smoked salmon with the crème fraîche because of the tarty flavor. It was a bit hard for me to eat because of the buckwheat flour texture but overall a unique savory crêpe. For the sweet item, we ordered the Greek goddess crêpe and it didn't disappoint! As expected, it was delicious and flavorful. You can't go wrong with Nutella, banana, and strawberries! We also ordered the roasted hazelnut latte, which was pretty disappointing. I could barely taste the coffee and the hazelnut flavor. However, when we told the staff about the drink, they were sweet and got us new ones. I got the hot chocolate, which is hands down one of the best ones I've had. It's creamy, chocolatey, and milky! So not sure about portion size we started with a Fragola fields strawberry balsamic salad, which was delicious and fairly large portion. Also a sandwich or pressed panini steak chimichurri on sourdough. It has caramelized onions, roasted peppers but the steak was overall lacking flavor. Not to fond of my order, just a thin slice of steak with all the other toppings. I also ordered Avocado toast with prosciutto and came with grape tomatoes, arugula. This was a great choice. We also ordered a Nutella hot coffee and a hazelnut hot as well. Oooh and the peach Bellini was sooo good the hint of the peach juice in the bottle was perfect which was also served in a Beautiful glass with a sweet lil flower perfect for the Ambiance here! The inside is nicely decorated. Lots of tables and chairs. Quite elegant. You come in and see the Cashier and there are pastries along with a menu to see. You order first and then they take to the table. I ordered the matcha and Bistecca chimichuri panini. The cashier did help me with that decision based on the questions I asked. The panini was pretty good. However not something I would order again. I felt like something was lacking, but I couldn't quite pin point. But overall decent and great flavor. I remember not liking the matcha too much. I don't remember if it was a bit too sweet. Although the presentation was beautiful, and I have gone back and ordered a nutella latte which was ok. During her previous visit, she ordered a sandwich and waited 30 minutes, while customers who ordered after her were served first. On this visit, we ordered two café lattes to enjoy inside. Kim assisted us and completely ignored my request for recommendations. While we waited, she sent another server to bring our drinks. The server told us they were placed in to-go cups because there were "no mugs available." This explanation made no sense, as there were very few customers inside. To make matters worse, shortly after, another customer ordered and was served their drink in a mug. This experience felt disrespectful and discriminatory. We are Hispanic, and my mother only speaks Spanish. Based on how we were treated, we will not be returning and do not recommend this place. read more

There are so many coffee shop at old town orange and this one was recommended by friends. We went in around 8:30 for breakfast and not busy at this time but started to be busy after 9am. You grabbed a table and ordered your food from the registration and they will bring your food to your table. Their menu is extensive and took me sometimes to decided what to eat. I am not a crepe fan and this totally made me into a believer. Dogs can be on the patio. Lines can get long. Parking can be difficult. After traveling from Miami to Orange, I stopped in this cute coffee shop. They are famous for their nutella latte, so i had that iced. It is delicious and full of hazelnut taste and aromas. To eat I opted for Alexander the crepe but as a panini. It had grilled chicken, bacon, spinach, swiss, and delicious sauce on top. It was warm and flavorful. We ate our lunch outside in the little patio area because it is small inside. I would definitely return to try a crepe when I return to Orange. read more

The price is $6.49 plus tax which is slightly more than Starbucks; although, I will definitely say that the coffee or taste of this cafe mocha is much better than Starbucks. There's a Starbucks just walking distance around the corner from this place, but before you go to your usual Starbucks, I recommend you try out this place instead and to order breakfast here as well. They allegedly charge more for the items on their menu and then claim that their prices are "subject to change at any time without notice." They did this to me with an Italian cappuccino order. It was listed on their menu for $5.79 and they charge me $5.99 plus an additional 3.5% service charge. I brought this to their attention and they made me wait until eventually someone came and refunded me $.20. Now $.20 is no big deal. It's their dishonesty that makes it bad. read more

The food was really good, but while eating the tiramisu, my boyfriend noticed a plastic clothing tag in the middle of it. We had taken it to go so we called to let them know about the situation so no one else would experience this same problem.
