Last weekend when we opened the garage door- one half of it seemed to slip off of the track. I called for a free quote to see about getting it repaired. The man who showed up quickly diagnosed the problem as an issue with the coil. I asked if it needed to be replaced and he said, "no just repaired." He quoted me $250. My husband was not home and we needed it fixed so I told him to go ahead. Shortly after he called me out and told me that after he removed the coil he saw it was bent and the drum was broken- so it would be $450 to fix. I told him I'd need to talk with my husband about it and I'd call him back. He said, "ok- then that will be $250." I was a bit shocked and asked why I'd pay $250 when the garage door was still very broken? He said that he had done the work of taking it apart so I needed to pay him $250. In retrospect , I should have told him "no" as this was information I feel he should have given me when he diagnosed the issue. He should have said, "I think the coils need to be repaired. If that's the case it will be $250- If it needs parts it will $450. He did replace both drums and coils and the garage door worked again. However, when he closed the garage door he said, "it's going really slow. The motor is probably going bad. It needs replaced soon or this will likely happen again." AGAIN- information that would have been helpful BEFORE the repair so I could make an informed decision. Instead I spent $450 on an issue that is most likely going to happen again unless I buy a whole new garage door system (which he quoted as over $900). I would definitely not hire this company again and encourage others to ask a lot of questions before letting them start any repairs. read more

I asked them to repair a broken spring on my garage door they changed the springs and since the repair the door shift to the right side and touch the rails the technician comes over couple of times to fix this issue however he could not fix the problem I called the manager and he referred me to another technician who is the responsible for this kind of issue he did not want to accept the responsibility for this problem and started to shouting at me with a very loud voice and bad behavior and unprofessional manner Even I called the manager several times and he didn't wan to accept the responsibility The technician told me he come over and take the spring and give 50% of my money back. The manager manager supposed to send some one to fix the problem or give my money back back however. He didn't even bother himself to take care of of this issue and didn't send someone and never answer my phone calls. My garage motor stopped working. When I called tech support they had me disconnect my garage and make sure the garage door was working properly. Turned out it wasn't.
