We have passed this place dozens of times and finally made an impulse stop since we love sushi and are always looking for new restaurants . The fish was fresh and there were a variety of interesting rolls and choices of other food. Quite an extensive menu. Could have been a 5 star if the food had not been served on paper plates and in paper containers. Not sure if this was due to a Covid thing or if this is how it's always served. Poor quality fish the last two times I ordered here. I gave it a fair chance. And the price isn't even cheap.

It's a hit and miss with this place. Sometimes you get somebody that likes what they're doing and makes a nice bowl. Tasty and not stingy on mix ins, Sometimes they're just too busy with their own things going on that they don't care how they prepare it. Mahalo Boss(very little seaweed, 1 piece of jalapeño, and a small sliver of avocado. ) Compared to previous orders. I have been ordering from this place for a while now using door dash. When I called to let them know that something was forgotten or not prepared right, I got "oh I'm sorry, I must have forgotten" or my favorite, "We don't do that"(Add ginger and wasabi with your order). Excuse me, I have been ordering for a while and this is the first time I did not receive it, but I'm sure this girl knows more than I do. We've had a few not-great experiences here with the service but other times we've really enjoyed it here. The tables are very close together bc it's a pretty small place. One time a toddler was so close to me and hovering over me that we were practically sharing a table. So if you want intimate don't come during dinner rush, lol. Anyway, I think 4 stars is definitely fair. Today, we ordered for carry out. We didn't get the total on the phone, so when my boyfriend got there and told them his name, they handed him a bag, he paid in cash and left a $9 tip. ($36 total and he gave them $45). When he got home we found out that it wasn't our food. So we had to go back and get the correct bag. The correct total went up to $41. They told him they would charge his card again for the new total and refund the mistaken charge "later." But he paid in cash so he said "well I actually gave you $45 cash earlier, so we're good." He said they seemed to be disappointed and confused by that, but he was in a hurry to get home with the food. We realized they were probably upset that the $5 difference had to come out of their previous $9 tip. Which we felt bad about but ultimately not that bad because we *did* have to drive twenty minutes due to their mistake. :( I do think it's lame that they would suggest charging a customers credit card in full twice and *then* do a refund instead of just charging the difference in the cost. Some people wouldn't be able to afford that hold on their card. Just saying. The food didn't taste fresh. It was definitely the only time the food has ever been underwhelming though. Also they gave us spicy tuna rolls when we asked for spicy salmon. It even says salmon on our receipt. :( we will come back though because we want this place to succeed. This place is so great! I tried it one day only after stumbling across their Yelp but I shortly after fell in love with their selections and great staff. A few of my favorite menu items include: The Crunchy Roll (5/5) - Lots of flavors are incorporated into this roll along with a nice crunchy texture on the outside layer. It's very savory, and I would say it's probably the best thing I've tried here so far. Greenie (5/5)- My favorite roll on the happy hour menu! It only costs $5 during the hours of 3-7pm. I really enjoyed the savory flavors incorporated into the roll, and the pieces of avocado add a nice creamy finish to each bite. Rainbow Roll (4.5/5) - This is $7 on the happy hour menu from 3-7pm. It's basically a California roll with various cuts of fish on each piece of sushi. Very appealing to look at and tasty as well! The Devil Roll (4.5/5) - This is also really good! Our waitress recommended this because it's her favorite and we weren't let down. It's a bit spicy, so if you enjoy having heat added onto your food, this would suit your tastebuds. Overall, 5/5 stars. Every time I've been here, I've always been happy with the food I've ordered. The prices are affordable yet the quality of the food is amazing. This is the place for sushi. Might have to wait a couple minutes for a seat, but well worth it. Always greeted with a friendly hello if you can sit at the sushi bar that's the way to go. Seems like whatever time we go and it's happy hour and that works for me always good deals. If you'd like a little bit spicy the crispy rice with spicy tuna is the best also twin sisters, spicy, tuna, spicy albacore on a wonton. We hadn't had Ezze Sushi since either February or March, but decided to eat outside at their table for my birthday lunch at the end of August.
