    Bomb Falafels ($1 each)

*Taps card* Me: "Can I add tip, please?" Billy (owner): "No tip. Your visit is already a blessing!" *Ahem* Other businesses, please take note! I've only been to 7-8 Yemeni restos and one thing they have in common is their exceptional hospitality. Customers are treated like family and considered a blessing. Falafelland was previously on 6th/Minna streets (no table seating) and was going to move into a larger space but then the pandemic hit and it didn't happen. Thanks to the Tenderloin Storefront Opportunity Grant Program and the mayor's efforts to revitalize the TL, Falafelland is back in a new space in the TL (opened 12/18/25). Open for takeout and limited dine-in with two tables and some bench seating. M E N U Yemeni stews, wraps, and rice plates. Complimentary chai and red tea. F O O D * Falafel ($1 each) Fried-to-order, the falafels are exceptional. Crunchy and moist with earthy, warming spices. They're cut in half and drizzled with tahini, sumac, and hot sauce (by request) for a creamy spicy tang. The owner's spin? He adds avocado and blueberries to his falafel mix which keeps the interior moist and fluffy. * Lamb Shank Platter (off the menu - $19.99) Huge, vibrant platter of roasted lamb shank along Mediterranean style rice, a fresh tomato + cucumber salad, tahini, hummus, and green olives. Great variety and generous portion for the price. S E R V I C E Incredibly warm and gracious hospitality. It's a one-man show so keep that in mind if you have time constraints. A M B I A N C E Tiny, cozy space with two tables and red Aztec/Southwestern style decor (sorry, don't know the yemen name for this). If you're looking for one of the best falafels, don't sleep on Falafelland!

I was perusing Too Good To Go app so I bought a meal to save. I went to this place and met the owner-chef. He said he just opened 8 weeks ago! I got a falafel sandwich and he made an extra large one for me since I was the last customer of the day. The place is well lit and clean. The people there are nice. I asked one of the guys to take a photo of the food they were making and by the chef-owner. Say hi to Bill and tell him Manny sent you. Support small businesses in San Francisco.

I ordered through the Too Good To Go app for $7.99 (total $8.68 with tax). The app listed the value of the food as $24, but that felt slightly overrated for the amount. I received a Falafel Wrap with tomatoes, cucumber, pickles, tahini, and what they called a Mediterranean salad. On the regular menu, the wrap is about $13.99 (around $15.20 with tax), so TGTG probably doesn't reflect the actual price of $24. I watched the person preparing the food. He mixed the salad directly into the wrap, not as a separate side. The wrap itself was fresh, with about 5-6 pieces of falafel. The falafel pieces were a good size, and overall the wrap was a standard size based on other falafel wraps I've had. The falafel wrap tasted good, and paying under $10 through TGTG is reasonable. Just don't expect the $24 value to match what you actually receive.

Food was amazing, tea was amazing, service was wonderful getting to know the owner. He takes pride in his work and in his dishes. Very warm and welcoming. I have started referring all of my nearby coworkers to this spot and they all say the same thing- best wraps they have had in the city. Will always return.

Food was really good and the portions are good size. I had the chicken with rice. Very good customer service with reasonable price .

Went to their Grand Opening (12/18/25) to try their menu. Very excellent Falafel. Also had the Baklava. Excellent as well. Go and try them and you won't be disappointed.

Loved the juicy chicken kebobs with a side of their delicious hummus. The musakhan had to be my favorite bite though, the chicken is so tender and flavorful and goes really well with the toasted pita. I would come back just for this dish alone! I ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate, and while the meat was flavorful, I wish they included more hummus. At around $25- $30 per plate, I expected a more generous portion. I ordered takeout and arrived about an hour later because the app never updated to show my order was ready. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and they didn't start preparing my food until I got there. I mentioned that I had placed the order an hour earlier and expected it to be ready, but the server seemed to brush off my concern, which was disappointing. One highlight was the hot sauce. I'm not sure if it's house-made or not, but it's so good. The pita, however, was a letdown. I prefer my pita soft, fluffy, and warm, but this one was hard and grainy. Overall, it's a cute restaurant with decent food, but it isn't my top choice.

It is not a sit-down restaurant and doesn't pretend to be. What it is, is consistently excellent food at prices that still make sense in a city where that's getting rare. We're regulars, and we usually go on Sunday evenings after my girlfriend gets off work. Falafel wrap and chicken shawarma are our usual order -- the falafel has that crisp-shell, tender-middle thing going, and the wraps are generously built. We've branched out plenty and everything we've tried has been good. The other reason we keep showing up is the people. Turna usually takes our order, and she is genuinely lovely -- friendly in a way that isn't a customer-service script. My girlfriend and I always walk out in a better mood than we walked in with, which is worth a lot. Practical notes: halal, lots of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, open until midnight Fri/Sat, and they cater. Grab some napkins if you're eating the wrap on the move -- it's a big one, and that's a compliment.

Tucked right in the heart of the Mission, this spot has been a neighborhood staple for a reason. The Shawarma (both beef and chicken) is the clear standout--perfectly seasoned, wrapped tight, and loaded with savory flavor. Their falafel is deliciously crispy on the outside while staying warm and fluffy on the inside. Portions are generous, making it an incredible value for San Francisco, and the house sauces tie everything together perfectly. The only reason it misses that fifth star is the limited seating and stripped-back atmosphere, which means it's much better suited for a quick bite or takeout rather than a long sit-down meal. But for top-tier, satisfying Mediterranean comfort food on the go, it's hard to beat!

When we got there, it was extremely busy inside and outside, but despite the anticipated wait, we were seated within 5 minutes or so. As a heads up, the Cole Valley location is very small. There is seating inside and outside, but it is pretty loud inside (not that it detracted from our meal). We noticed there was a lot of take out orders coming through, so it seems like this place is equally popular for takeout, which makes sense given it's small size (they do not take reservations). We started off with the mezze sampler, which has lebna, muhammara, baba ganoush, hummus, pickles, and falafel. We all loved the sampler, although we noticed it didn't come with a lot of pita bread. Since most of our entrees were also coming with pita bread, it wasn't an issue. I particularly enjoyed the lebna, which was super creamy but had a nice tang that rounded out the flavor. The hummus and baba ganoush were also very good, and the muhammara was rich and had a great flavor. My mom got the falafel platter, my dad got the grilled hanger steak, my partner got the musakhan and I got the chicken shish tawook plate. My mom really enjoyed the falafel platter. It was super loaded with falafel, baba ganoush and hummus. The falafels were really good. They were nicely fried, but still had a soft and tender interior. My dad liked the hanger steak, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The green zhug sauce was interesting, and the freekeh had a nice nutty and earthy flavor. Our favorites were the musakhan and the chicken shish tawook plate. The musakhan had a really interesting sweet/savory spiced flavor, and was complemented really nicely with the caramelized onions, sumac, pine nuts and toasted pita. The skin had a nice crispness but the chicken was super tender. The chicken shish tawook was definitely my favorite. The chicken had an incredible, charcoal-grilled taste and was super tender without being dry or overcooked at all. This was the best bite I've had all year, and I loved dipping the grilled chicken in the lebna, muhammara, baba ganoush and hummus that remained from our sampler plate. Highly, highly recommend this place. Super reasonable prices for generous portions of super flavorful food. Next time, we'd love to try the lamb shank and branzino.

Overall, a hectic memorable adventure for yummy food.

The Stuffed falafel was so good and huge 1 is enough for 2 people. The mosabaha was very refreshing and so good. The meat combo was good overall and everything was very herbally spiced, I wasn't impressed by the lamb tho but the kebab, hummus, and chicken were great! I haven't had Mousakhan before so not sure how it should taste but to me it was sweet and savory with really well cooked chicken. I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. The kunafa was good we got it crispy and was yummy imo but was a lil oily (I think this is normal tho). The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor!
