They have the best roasted chicken and corn bread in the area. The staff are friendly and attentive. Its always busy and worth the wait.

Our family stopped in last night for the family feast and it was delicious with plenty of food! We even had left overs. The ribs, beef, pulled pork, and Chicken are very tasty, and so were the sides. Plenty of coleslaw, beans, corn on cob, and fries. No one makes better corn muffins than this place! Come hungry and Leave satisfied! The wait staff is great abs friendly too. I went to lunch today 2/16/2019 with my parents and siblings. I have a gluten allergy and there are limited items available as is. Now most of their entrees are served with a corn bread muffin. Had it been real cornbread made with corn meal I could eat it, i digress. So since my meal is supposed to come with this I ask the waitress if I could swap the muffin for an additional side option. Upon asking this the waitress laughed at me and continued laughing even though no one else was. My family and I were too appalled to ask for a manager. I ordered my food with out the cornbread muffin stating that I am gluten-free and waited. Then my food came out with a muffin. Like what???? Did I not specify clearly enough. So I stated to the waitress that brought out our food, who was not our original waitress, that I could not eat the food and needed another meal brought out with out the muffin. It's a corporate BBQ joint so you don't feel the love poured into the food. We went there a few weeks ago on a thursday, which is unlimited rib tips night. The rib tips were burnt and dry. The only thing i really enjoyed from my meal was my mac and cheese and their famous bbq sauces. Good place for every once in a while. read more

The food was good. I go there occasionally. The ribs are good and the cornbread is really yummy. I did order rib tips and the waitress asked me if I've ever had them before and I said no and she made a face and said told me that they are full of cartilage and very chewy. I've been here several times and the food is always great. The last time I went the service was so far above and beyond that I had to write about it. I was with my wife and three small children, which is always difficult. Our server was so understanding and helpful that it made dinner a breeze. When I was a little kid I used to go to a Famous Daves out in Las Vegas and I always got their catfish and sasuage. Needless to say it was amazing. When I first walked in it was like the past hit me in the face. It was beautiful, the wood all around and the decour, absolutely stunning. The decoration was nothing compared to the food. I order the catfish fingers, the ribs, and the sasuage. The Catfish was just like I had remembered, made perfectly and packed with flavour. The ribs were grilled to perfection and the meat fell right off the bone. The sasuage was pefect, spicy, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Famous Daves has always been one of my favourite restruants and continues to be so to this day. I highly reccomend this restruant to anyone who loves BBQ. read more

We were really looking forward to great BBQ, but so disappointing. We had Pork Nacho's to begin with. Literally no cheese, plus pork was very dry. I had pork tips that were ok, we both had mac & cheese, it was 8 pm and I believe it was the bottom of the pan, very dry and tasted day old. Even french fry's looked and tasted like they had been left under the heat lamp and not fresh. Our waiter never even noticed that we didn't finish anything. We went in Friday and sat in the bar, Isabella (Izzy) was our server. She was super friendly and had great hustle to her. We ordered a few apps and when the wings came out, they had the wrong sauce. Izzy noticed it right away, apologized and got us new wings. The manager, Amber, came by and also apologized. When we got our check we noticed they took off the wings, which they really didn't need to do as mistakes happen. When FD first opened it was a rush. You'd get within a block and the smell would lift you up and carry you the rest of the way in. The food was great. The meat spoke for itself. As time went by, FD's just lost something. The sides no longer had as much substance. The meat seemed (depending what it was) less tasty, drier, wetter, more "common." On our last (final?) visit, the pulled pork was dry and chewy. The brisket was watery (how does that even happen?). The cornbread was tasteless. Meat was served on toast that was as hard as 4x4 kitchen tiles. Even as we walked inside, there was no smell of BBQ. One of our party likes his meat with no sauce. All of the meat we were served came pre-covered with a sauce (no idea what kind). It wasn't truly BBQ sauce. It was yellow, watery, and off-tasting. The rest of us agreed. Bottom line: BBQ meat should "speak for itself" with a smokiness and bite. This meat at FD's said someone barely went thru the motions. [Could the brisket have been stored in a pot of water? That's honestly how it tasted before they put the house "sauce" on it.] With so many other really good BBQ places in the area now, we'll just strike FD's from our list. read more

My husband and I had a long 12 hour day and remembered seeing this restaurant off hwy 7. Came in around 10 and was treated like we were the first customers of the day. Phil was an awesome server and gave us the best service we could ask for. The food was absolutely fabulous and decent price for its perfection. We had found a label in my husband's food but we just laughed because we understand silly mistakes seeing that we have worked on restaurants for years. The manager came to our table after Phil mentioned it to him. He was extremely sympathetic and wanted to make things right even though we were not upset about it at all. He made us take some banana pudding home after we refused but it was the best banana pudding we ever had! I came to here after the Daveco. It is a busy place. The wait was 25 mins. At least I got to hang out at the bar drinking cold beer. I got tried these Wilbur's revenge wings. They are one of the hottest. I can eat super hot food, but the sauce definitely has its kick! That is why I give it 4 stars. The ribs are ok. They don't peel off from the bones easily, not too tender. It is not my style of BBQ. I think All your can eat rib tips every Thursday! for 9.99 is super deal. I will go back for that! read more

Great family place! We live in Todd Creek, and there isn't a lot of choices for restaurants out here. The food is okay for when you just can't decide on something to cook at home. The only complaint I have about Dave's is the roving manager. Why in the world do you feel it's okay to interrupt our meal to chat. This almost always happens. If I have an issue with anything I will bring it to the attention of my server. Enjoy your meal,but be prepared for the interruption. read more

This used to be our favorite bbq place. Last night my family and I went, around 6:00 pm. There were 7 of us, we waited 30 or so minutes and were seated. Immediately we noticed the restaurant has deteriorated over the years. The chairs we sat on were disgustingly dirty, stained with something dripped all down the back, the seats were torn badly. We waited a very long time for our food and no the restaurant was not overly crowded. The waitress forgot to bring my son- in-law and daughters salads until my wife asked her for them. I ordered the rib slab and the quality of the meat was poor at best. Maybe because it was late and the wait staff was more concerned with getting ready for closing and ignoring the customers. My wife's burger was ok but not as we remembered from before. My MIL ordered potato soup and it came out cold. They had a sign up that they could not sell liquor at this time, when I queried the hostess, she said they were changing from a franchise to corporate. I hope they remodel and retrain staff the customers should be priority. read more

Another solid meal at Dave's! My wife and I each got a half slab of ribs. Being able to pick your sauce and sides always makes for a new experience (if you want to change it up). The ribs were spot on, fall off the bone and I got the Wilbur beans and Mac and cheese to compliment the meal. Friendly staff and efficient service. I've never had any issues at this location. Good BBQ, bad, bad service. It almost made it not worth it. We never received our appetizer. Our waitress sat in the both behind us with friends or family while we ate our meal with no drinks, no ranch dressing and an empty roll of paper towels we requested twice be refilled. No offered apology for forgetting items when brought to her attention. I am not one to complain to a manager, but was upset and decided I would. After waiting 5 minutes up front for "fantastic manager Jeff" as they referred to him at the front desk, I gave up and just left. Very friendly staff when we were there for lunch. We bought famous daves bbq sauce in the store to try one day and were very pleased so when we seen they had a restaurant, we needed to check it out. We thought the food was awesome. Only thing to almost complain about with the food was that for the price, the amount of food you get isn't a whole lot. But great tasting. We both had the pulled chicken sandwich. It comes with the rich and sassy sauce which I really liked and the hubby put devils spit on his which he really liked. I did not like the potato salad at all. The mac and cheese has jalapenos, not too spicey but gives the mac and cheese a great flavor. Margaritas were very good. When we went, the ladies bathroom smelled like an outhouse. The whole place was clean and neat so I was surprised to walk in the bathroom with it smelling so badly. Strong urine smell. As expected for a chain BBQ place my experience here was pretty average. Was able to get seated right away but took awhile for my server to come over and even longer to get the drink I ordered. Meal came out quickly though so that was positive. Burnt ends meal was ok but nothing special. As always at Famous Daves I loved the sauce selection and the pickles. read more

I'm not picking on this particular location as my concerns are probably bad corporate decisions. We first had Famous Dave's when they first arrived in Colorado at the Stapleton location and the food was great and lots of it for the price. They seem to keep coming up with one dumb decision after another every since. First they gave corn on the cob along with just about every order then they quit giving it stating people complied it was too much food which is totally absurd. Then they quit putting potato wedges in their platters replacing them with half cooked cold nasty french fries. Now some dumb genius thought it would be a good idea to not give out butter unless you ask for it for which I'm told the guy was fired in a short time there but no one has the intelligence to put it back. I had corn on the cob 2 half pieces and corn bread but they don't think butter would be useful. Any more dumb decisions like this will prompt me to start going to Jim and Nicks. Haven't been there in a while but I seriously doubt their as stupid in making dumb decisions as Famous Daves seem to keep making read more

My wife and I decided we were going to stop in and give this place another chance. We came in a little on the late side about 8:30 PM. As soon as we came in the door we saw a young lady behind the courtesy counter where you are usually greeted and asked how many and what seating arrangements you want etc., This young lady glanced up, saw us and ran away. She was not doing anything else clearly. We were thinking wow that is a heck of a way to greet your customers. After about two seconds of standing inside it was also clear that it was colder inside than it was outside. Outside was 70 degrees! with a chill in the wind at night. Just imagine going into a restaurant and freezing your whatevers off!!!! I came here yesterday with my other half for a nice dinner. However, nice it was not! Took 22 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Apparently it wasnt our waitress who took our drink order either. Sp our drinks come, and we wait another 12 minutes for the waitress to finally show up and take our order. We ordered nachos as the appetizer, and i got beef brisket and my other half got ribs. I tell the waitress no jalapenos on the nachos. She brings the nachos with a load of jalapenos! I tell her about it and she takes the nachos back and said they are remaking them. Ok fine. So our nachos come back and immediatley following so dpes our entrees! Doesnt the appetizer come before the main meal???? So whatever we were happy that now we can eat...NOT! our waitress did not bring us napkins or silverware..so we wait til she comes back by and we ask for those things. 6 minutes later silverware and napkins shpw up. We didnt even tpuch the nachos by then cuz we obviously didnt need to woth pur main meals being right there. So we ran out of drinks. Our waitress was nowhere to be found so we ate 85 percent of our meal with no drink. She finally comes and refills our drink. And that took 9 minutes. We asked her fpr more napkins when we got the refill and she went to a few mpre tables and brpught food out to one table before we gpt our napkins (yea, thanks). At this point i was still gna tip because i mnow shit happens, but then we get the bill. We were charged twice for the nachos! I tell the server and she sais "oh he didnt take the other one off" excuse me??!!! I only ordered one nachos! There should be no reason for 2 of them to be on there!! Very dissapointed. I had taken my parents and family there expecting a great BBQ experience, but instead it was the worst restaurant experience of my life. Upon stepping in the restaurant it was realized that the AC had gone out and it was approximately 85 degrees. The waitress had recommended that we sit in the bar area because it was the coolest part of the establishment . We then had an outdoor experience with 100 's of fruit flies that were flying all around us in our drinks while we sat near the bar. I literally picked out 5 flies out of my beer and my food during my meal. The manager came by to apologize for the heat and fruit flies, but it was a load of crap. He said that all the restaurants in the area were experiencing the same problem, but working in bars my entire 20's I know that it's due to a dirty bar and kitchen. 150 dollars later, sweaty clothes, flies in my food and drinks, in the end only one drink was comped. I will never go or recommend this restaurant again. read more
