Tis' good, YUM. Entering the restaurant you'll notice a fancy ambiance but not so fancy prices. Service has been great every time and happy hour 3-9 every day is quite the perk. My favorite here is definitely the cornbread muffin - so warm and delicious. The BBQ ribs and bacon burger get the second place, also quite YUM. Sometimes I get the $23 meal and get a bit of everything, then I take the rest to work the next day. read more

I came here on a Sunday and was excited to try this new restaurant. We looked at the extensive menu and lunch special and decided to order tequenos and the lunch 2 meat combo. Unfortunately, I don't have anything nice to say about the combo. We ordered the combo with brisket and ribs. The brisket resembled bacon strips and just looked like extremely low quality meat. The ribs were full of cartilage. The only thing that was good about this meal was the cornbread. I would not recommend this place to anyone, if you like barbecue there are many other better options. read more

Food was great and brought promptly. Very good BBQ food with "South Florida" dishes for that local taste. We were served by Katie and she was an exemplary waitress, very attentive, energetic, with a contagious positive attitude. We went for a birthday and the birthday girl enjoyed the food, best BBQ ribs she's had anywhere. The outdoor seating is fantastic & accommodating during the pandemic. I drove three hours to eat lunch with my dad & while we had plans to dine elsewhere we decided to eat at FD. The food was delicious! The portions were massive! Wow! Unfortunately the server made a few mistakes which poorly represented the restaurant. My dad had to ask for a certain bbq sauce three times - & that was only whenever he could catch the server when he was near enough to call over to the table. The other thing was that the server brought out my dad's meal only half-correct. My dad received an incorrect side dish. My dad pointed it out but didn't want to cause problems so he told the server that it wasn't a big deal. This was the server's chance to make it right but he didn't go to the back & bring out the correct dish. He also didn't inform the manager of the mistake, so my dad ended up eating something that he didn't order. With so many great dining options around poor service and wrong dishes will cause people to dine elsewhere. If this isn't the norm, then the food is worth trying! read more

I had a seminar in Miami and was looking for a restaurant for lunch in the area. Saw Famous Dave's on TripAdvisor and decide to try it since I have their cookbooks. Sat outside on a large patio. Ordered the Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich,piled high with hand-seasoned, hickory-smoked Texas Beef Brisket. served with choice of 1 side and spicy Hell-Fire Pickles. Choice of sides are Collard Greens, Creamy Coleslaw, Dave's Award-Winning Chili, Dave's Cheesy Mac & Cheese, Famous Fries, Fresh Steamed Broccoli, Garlic Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes, Potato Salad, Side Salad, or Sweet Corn. My husband, my friends, and I went on Saturday night for the first time, and we all enjoyed our meals. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 is because I've had better ribs elsewhere, and the prices could stand to be a bit better. If the name of your restaurant or business has the word, famous or worlds, famous in your name, turn the other direction, because this place is not world famous at all. I haven't had a good bbq meal for so long and finally I decided to give Famous Dave's a try... Let's me start with all the COVID 19 requirements were highly put in place... Staff wore mask, hand sanitizer available at each tables and by the entrance door. Table are 6 feet apart and clean after each seating. I had the lunch special with 2 meats (pork chops and hot link) and I was in heaven... delicious with right amount of spices and hotness. Last night I decided to try this place. My first experience was in Tennessee and I was thrilled with the overall experience. The place in Doral was overall pretty good, the food was delicious, very family oriented, very cozy, however our server for some reason kept getting lost. The attention that was given to my family and myself, it's the only reason why I'm not given it 5 stars, so my overall experience in Doral was a 4.5 stars. I've been coming here since it open. I live in Doral and I actually lived right in front of it at City place during the covid years. I was so happy the u were able to be there and open for the community during ruff times. But the last two visit were Linda of concerning. I ordered a slab of ribs and they were all dry. I was like me it's a one off. Which happen before. But then recently I order a slap with extra fries. When I went to licked it up, there was no extra fries which I pages for. So ask the employee that I'm missing th The extra fries. And she said that's how they gave to to her and that the amount you get for extra. And I replied I've been coming here for years and that's the same amount I always have been given. She replies Th ey lowered the amounts and nothing can be done. So I guess regular order 10 fries and I guess the extra means 20. That's crazy. And ontop of that, the ribs were not fresh. Disappointed. I guess it's time to move one. Came in for a quick lunch . Was early enough to take advantage of the lunch special. Ordered a two meat plate with a side of fries. I also ordered the Tostones.. each one was 4.99. They were small for the price. The flavor was less than desirable. The lady that served us was very short and dry. She disappeared after the food was brought to the table. The manager was the one to ring us up. I explained the situation to him I don't know how I thought 499 for a small Tostone was a rip off he was kind enough to take it off the bill and understood our position. He invited us again to come out and give them another try . Not sure if I will return but I keep my options open read more

I got seated pretty quick but then the nightmare started. I was waiting for about 15 mins without anyone asking me if I even wanted water.... honestly I was not surprised. The first time I went I had to wait without any service as well. Finally I stood up and asked if I can get a high chair for my daughter. The customer service here at Famous Dave's BBQ is outstanding and the food was equally amazing. This place has energetic young people that is supported by management. The manager ( Jonathan Rodriguez ) came to the table and was glowing with enthusiasm. Mr. Johnny was like the icing on the cake. His team that consist of a Server (Aldo Jimenez) and two young college students from Texas that is in training. These two guys ( Kahlil & Cam Overton are twins and they light the place up with great personalities. This was our second visit and was equally impressed during both visits. Very bad experience. Today I bought food at this restaurant and found a nail inside a chorizo. This is not only unpleasant, it is extremely dangerous for any customer. This type of situation demonstrates a serious lack of quality control and hygiene. I could have seriously hurt myself. The guy was wearing a face mask in 2026, which was very weird. As soon as he opened his mouth, he really started trying to upsell us on every single thing, which was uncomfortable. There were no prices on the drinks, so we asked for the drink prices, and all the prices he told us were wrong. Everything was a lot higher than what he suggested it was. He was even able to sneak in an upsell for smothered mushrooms on my 16-year-old daughter and my 60-year-old dad's steak. It really felt like he was picking on the people he knew he could just add things onto and we wouldn't notice until the bill arrived, which was very tacky. The service itself was extremely slow. We had to wait 20 minutes to put in our order and at least 10 minutes to request refills or additional beverages. The food was subpar at best. The ribs were dry and the steak was extremely flimsy - yet tender. The baked potato was the best thing that we ate the entire night. All the kids left the majority of their food. My parents were not impressed, and the ambience itself was just low class. We won't be coming here again. There's nothing that would attract us to returning.

And I'm happy to report that they get an A+ for cleanliness and keeping the ambience feeling more like a BBQ joint than a fast food place, love this patriotic establishment that honors our military and first responders.

Lunchtime is usually quiet but the service can be a little slow. I get the same thing from the lunch menu - Pichana with potatoes and broccolini. The lunch special comes with soup or salads I always get the house salad which is delicious! Whenever I want to really treat myself at lunch I'll come here and I'm always satisfied
