Came here with some girlfriends for lunch. It's a nice small place on the water with good food. I did ask for corn to be on the side of my dish and not included on it and it came with it. The waitress said she told them to put it on the side but luckily I could remove it. I know it was an appetizer but it looks like they just threw it on the plate. The artichoke antipasto was esp good. The artichokes were delicious

So as my previous review gave 4 stars. We were a large group and we had a good time. I guess the company we were with was a driving force for the 4 Stars. Unfortunately I feel that I have to take one star away with this visit. Allow me to explain. First it was a rainy dreary day. Parking, Oye, very limited and difficult pulling in and out. It took a minute to seat us but not a big deal. Only one bathroom in the restaurant which was a bit uncomfortable. We estates on the rear deck where there are plastic or vinyl windows. As I mentioned it as rainy and cold and the cold wind was coming through the windows. They have heaters on the rear deck but they were not very effective. I had the Rigatoni Bollonese, which was very good. My wife had some kind of chicken. Not the greatest. I know they get good reviews but this day was a bust.

    Swans swimming by.

First time visiting for lunch. Parked across very busy street. We sat by water on the picnic bench. Very nice. Food was not that great. My husband had a chicken sandwich very dry. Salad that went with it very disgusting. Cold pasta with tomato paste. Not good at all. I had steak sandwich needed more. I put the salad that came with it to make it bearable. We did have the fried artichoke that was good.the service was good considering how far they had to go if you needed things like salt or ice. Would we go back again? No.

We dined here after visiting a nearby winery as a table of 6, we had 5pm reservations on a Saturday evening in late July. It was a beautiful day and we were lucky to get a spot right in front. We walked along the water to our table and there was a wonderful relaxed ambiance, with plenty of little hang out areas. We started with a garden salad as well as bread with sautéed cherry tomatoes. I ordered the Halibut special with artichoke, cherry tomatoes, bok choy (which I wish there was more of), and angel hair pasta. My husband had the halibut oreganato. Both were very good. Our server Martin was attentive, everything was well orchestrated. We saw a family of swans swim by and a few kayakers. We had a lovely relaxing meal in a gorgeous setting. Pulling out of the parking spot on the busy road was challenging, my husband got out of the vehicle to tell our friends when it was safe to pull out.

I had an excellent dinner here with my family! The service is outstanding, everyone is so sweet. Farm country kitchen has the freshest ingredients and their dishes always have the best flavors. Their whip cream is delicious and you really can't go wrong with any of their menu options! Also this place is perfect in the summertime with the view of the river during your meal. Highly recommend!

Day tripping on Long Island came to an end with this amazing place. Let's start with seating.. there is a deck which is covered with plastic type walls. Don't make reservation for this spot. Make tour reservations to sit outside. You're sitting right in-front of the lake. They have many tables in the shade and tables with umbrellas. Great place for pictures, watching kayakers float by. They have Adirondack chairs where you can wait for your table and get a drink. We went for lunch but decided to sit in the Adirondack chairs with some drinks and music that we ended up actually having dinner. We started off with then bbq shrimp which came with guac and pico de gallo - amazing.. Not what I expected but dang was it good. We then had Caesar salad which was so creamy, delish. Ended with scallops spaghetti special which was very good, light and delish. The service was great, waiters very attentive to us and provided great service. Can't wait to go back..

Rosemary bread sandwich with breaded chicken, eggplant and fresh mozzarella Salad comes on the side Mojito was ordered too

I absolutely love this place. I was last here in 2018 and prices were a bit higher. I remember they served duck back then. Was here a day ago and I love that prices have come down. Dishes are delicious and affordable. Plus, you can't beat that view! I love sitting by the river. I went on a Tuesday and it was relatively packed. I can't imagine visiting on a weekend I believe this place does take reservations. I highly encourage doing so when coming on the weekend. I ordered a mojito and it was delicious as well. Lovely experience. Very relaxing. Food arrived quickly. Servers were polite.

Came here for restaurant week. They have a private room upstairs that can sit about 8. Staff was friendly but being upstairs and away from everyone made getting anyones attention a little hard. The food was really good. The fried artichoke was delicious. I had the duck and it was really good. Not gamey at all. The chocolate cake was okay. A little dry for me. Everyone enjoyed their meal and portion was good.

Just yum!!! It was a little hard to find this gem but it was worth it. The service was incredible, always attentive. The drinks were yummy!!! The food was incredibly delicious. Im sooo coming back to this restaurant. The atmosphere may be a little cramped but in the summer, there is much more space with outside seating. The oysters Rockefeller were incredible.

It wasn't worth the hype. My salad was sub-par and my pasta was too runny for my liking. My server was nice but I'm not much of a fan.

    Are you a byob restaurant?

They were BYOB several years ago. Now they serve cocktails and such on-site.

    Do you allow pets?

Super rude lady on the phone that said "preferably" no dogs-- and then continued to tell me not to bring my dog. What does that mean? Who doesn't allow dogs outside?

Does this place still let you bring in outside wine & liquor?

I don't know but doubt it. I've only seen people ordering from the wine menu.

    Do they do reservations?

They do, but they had no record of my reservation when I showed up. I'd make sure to double check before showing up.

DO they have the space for and do they do rehearsal dinner parties? About 30 people.

    If it's outside then maybe

Staying in the cottage made the whole experience feel like a true mini getaway on the North Fork. We started with the chickpea soup, which was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. For mains we ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the shrimp, both were excellent. The spaghetti and meatballs had a rich, satisfying sauce and tender meatballs, while the shrimp was perfectly cooked and delicious. We finished with the brownie with ice cream, a perfect sweet ending that hit all the right notes. Service was warm and attentive, our server checked in at just the right moments without hovering. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, with a cozy dining room and friendly bar scene. After dinner we headed to the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, exactly what we needed after a delicious meal and a few drinks. Not having to drive home was a real luxury, and waking up on the North Fork the next morning felt like a proper little escape. The beach is very close and easily walkable, which made the stay even better. The location is peaceful and residential yet convenient, with easy parking. Highly recommend for a date night, special dinner, or short overnight stay in the cottage. One of the best meals and stays we've had on the North Fork! Highly Recommend!!!

There was a hair in it (I've worked in a restaurant before so I was extremely understanding about that). I sent it back for a new one and they took it off the bill without me asking. My husband ordered the burger and he devoured it. The truffle fries are a must. Last time they had a better more varied beer selection. This time they only had one IPA on tap but it was good. Overall a great experience and I'd come back again!

Our waitress was wonderful and greeted us and gave us a menu for Restaurant week as well as the regular menu. The dining room was cozy and the decorations at the entrance were beautiful. We started with calamari from the regular menu, as well as chicken pot pie rolls with cranberry sauce and baked clams from the restaurant week menu. Then for my entrée, I got the flat iron steak with gorogonzola and chimichurri sauce, and my friend got the catch of the day which was a mahi-mahi. We both really enjoyed our meals and had a lot of leftovers. I liked the steamed veggies and mashed potatoes that my steak came with and she really enjoyed the fish then when we got to the end, we each got to pick a dessert and we tried the cappuccino mousse chocolate cake, as well as the chocolate ice cream. Then on the back of the receipt, there's a stamp for 10% off to purchase pies at the window outside from their sister location, NoFo Pot Pies. We had a great time here and service was excellent. I am looking forward to our next visit.
