    The hairy Fatty!!
    ChalupaBatma N.

As a local, anytime I have had the craving for a burger I would come pick up food and take it home. In the past let's say two years, I looked the other way when they always get my order wrong, I say no lettuce "it's there" I order chili cheese fries "get onion rings" etc. I get it! This is a burger place and I don't want to walk back to complain so I've dealt with this numerous times. With that said this last time I came home, took a bite, guess what? HAIR! So, did I get charged extra for this ingredient? Who knows because there was more than one. Had to throw my food away because that's disgusting. But I'm sad that this made me decide to no longer be a customer. Didn't mind the screw ups on the orders or the $100+ I would spend for a family meal, but can't look past this. Trust me I hope nobody ever bites into a hairy burger! You should put this on the menu as "THE HAIRY FAT" some people might still enjoy it. We had a great run, good luck!

Fatburger is a classic so cal burger It differs from In n Out and Tommys - the other classic so cal burger chains. Be prepared, your order will take some time. This isnt McDonald's. Fatburger was started in the 50s by an African American woman, probably making this the only such major burger chain to have that claim. It was the cool place for jazz musicians in the 50s and 60s, then she expanded and franchised her business. Fat, by the way, was 50s jazz Aland for Huge and Deluxe. It sort of has a different connotation today Famous for inclusion in some rap songs and The Fast and the Furious , the ambiance is appropriate for the origins of the firm The food is super good. King burgers are HUGE Enjoy a slice of so cal history

The burgers were well seasoned. The sweet potato fries were top tier. And the milkshakes were delicious. The older man who took our order also brought us the food. He was quiet but he seemed nice. I enjoyed the music there too.

Fatburger is one of my favorite burger chains. I've been to several of their locations in LA and always leave smiling. The burger I had here was a full half pound, fresh, delicious and filling. I also had yummy onion rings and a vanilla milkshake right on PCH across from Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. The manager serving me was on top of his game. Recommended and they're open late.

I came with friends late at night on a Thursday. They took the orders and got the food out fine. They just messed up on my friend's burger. My friend went back to get a new burger & they messed up on the burger a second time. And at that point, we had taken the burger home so we couldn't exchange it. Their first error was adding relish when told not to. The second error was putting raw onions when grilled onions were requested. Overall, it made the experience a poor one.

Receipt for my order. Oh. And when they forget sh$& in your order, they won't credit back the charge. You gotta go back!

Fatburger, I am officially breaking up with you. Tonight was the last straw. I placed an order on the app. Son runs in, picks up the order and we drive two blocks away to our home. The minute we get out of the car, the bottom of the bag completely rips dropping food everywhere. Not happy. Get into the house and they shorted us two chili fries. I call the store and the girl I spoke with gave zero f&$cks. This is the second time they have forgotten food in my order. I pay a lot of money for their burgers and their service is worse than a jagged tooth hooker. My teenage boys and I will go one block down to Proudly Serving. BTW. I have been eating at Fatburger since the 80's. Good riddance. So the owner responds that my son went back and picked them up. Of course he did! You don't deliver, nor will you do a charge back on my credit card. You are supposed to just keep my money?! The last time this happened, you at least gave me a card for a free burger- which I can't use on the app. Not worth the frustration for damn near $80 for burgers. Ciao

A true classic! And at the ocean! Yes I've had Fatburger many times before but not at the Redondo location. Huge difference! Incredible flavor and true to the original! Get this on your bucket list asap!

I was a good 3-4 bites into my delicious original cheeseburger with grilled & regular onions when I thought I was trying to bite into lettuce. When my teeth did not go thru the lettuce I tugged on it with my teeth and to my absolute dismay, I discovered that I was actually pulling on a finger of a plastic glove that was in my burger! I'm disgusted beyond words. I called to complain the worker offered to make me another one or to leave a receipt for tomorrow if I want to come then instead. Bless her for trying to help me but I have no intentions of ever coming back! I will be calling to speak with a manager tomorrow.

Can you do the triple king challenge with the Impossible burger or only a beef patty?

Now don’t quote me. I believe they would honor that request. I would just ask the cashier or the manager at your location. I think that would be cool. Not everyone eats beef so why leave you out. Impossible lovers need love too.

Would I say they have the best prime rib around? No. But it is pretty damn satisfying. When here, I always order the Franciscan cut Prime Rib cooked to medium (it's 3/4 pounds), house salad with ranch dressing, and steak fries. They throw in a loaf of sourdough bread with whipped butter. The prime rib is very tender and has plenty of fat. We all know fat equals flavor. The only thing I would change about it, and I keep forgetting to ask the server each time I'm here, is to have it served without the au jus already in the plate. Don't get me wrong. The au jus is fantastic, but when the prime rib is served in a pool of it, the meat becomes soggy. Served separately, I think the prime rib would be even better. In addition to the prime rib, the salad and steak fries are incredibly delicious. The salad is nothing fancy, but very tasty due to the ranch dressing it comes with. Wish I knew the recipe of the dressing. The steak fries pair perfectly with the prime rib. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only thing I would say is pretty average is the sourdough bread. Although it comes out warm, I don't get the sense that they're freshly baked. The service here is phenomenal. The servers are attentive, polite, and efficient. Can't ask for anything more from them. If you're looking for a trendy spot with contemporary decor and pretentious vibes, this place is not for you. This is an old school steakhouse with red upholstered booths and soft music playing in the background. If you live in the South Bay, and you're looking for a classic prime rib experience, this is a place you should check out.

When I first started coming here, the smallest cut was only $25, which felt like an incredible deal. Prices have gone up over the years, and it's now $37 for the smallest cut, but even with the increase, it's a place I continue to return to because the quality and experience have remained consistently good. I always order the prime rib medium rare with the soup and French fries. The prime rib is consistently delicious, flavorful, and tender, with a rich beefy flavor that really hits the spot. It's cooked just the way I like it, and every visit reminds me why I've been coming back for so many years. The portions are generous, and the meal is satisfying from start to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this restaurant is its classic atmosphere. The interior feels like a step back in time, with an old-school charm that is becoming harder to find these days. It has the feel of a traditional steakhouse from the 1960s, and the nostalgic vibe adds a lot to the overall dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate a piece of local history. There is a parking lot available, which is definitely a plus, although it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you're visiting for the first time. Just keep an eye out as you're approaching the restaurant. While I miss the days when the prime rib was only $25, I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The fact that I've continued coming here for six years says a lot about how much I enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you've never been and you're a fan of prime rib, this is a spot that's well worth checking out at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself planning a return

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
