Service was absent and poor. Sonya apparently failed to input order correctly which highlighted her lack of service. She simply disappeared and other servers helped yet no water refills after requests. Sonya was clearly not trained or interested in serving customers. Yet argued with me when I asked about the order error and her absence and wouldn't stop. She should not be an a position that requires public contact. VERY EMBARRASSING with our visiting guests. I don't think you can get a better view in San Diego then when dining at Feast and Fairway! The restaurant has a relaxing ambiance, with views of the ocean, lush greenery and the Coronado bridge. Lots of menu options to test your current diet resolution. My brunch favorite is the brioche French toast paired with candied bacon, both over the top delicious! Excellent place for breakfast or brunch. The view is spectacular and the brunch is delicious. The service can be a little slow depending on how busy they are but it's still above average. I have tried almost every breakfast dish and they are all great. The shrimp and grits and the Benedict's are superb. However, the service was so bad it was a Sunday but bad weather day, it was raining a lot in the day before so golf club wasn't busy, neither the restaurant. When we arrive at the restaurant there was NO LINE, we talked to the hostess right away, we could see so many tables empty but they still asked us for 30 min for a party for 2 (it would be ok, I know they need to accommodate due to staff). But, they got our cellphone/info and 40 min later we didn't receive any updates, I had to go ask and they seat us 5 min later (so 45 to sit). After that, no server came to see us for over 10 min. Basically an hour later after we arrived, the server started the service, he was friendly overall, but nobody apologize to us. Portions are nice and big which is always great! Food tasted great too! The service is slow!! I could have shot the back 9 and been back at my table before they asked for the drink order or seen a server at all. We eventually had to flag down the food runner to get an order of drinks. Bride Top: future brides, hire an outside coordinator! Someone who truly is a month of coordinator for your sanity and to make sure your wedding runs smoothly! We recently hosted our wedding at Feast & Fairway and while the venue, food, ambiance was amazing and our guests and family loved it, in fact they danced and danced and did t want to leave!!! There were some major hiccups.... so, to any bride getting married there, I'd really encourage you to hire an outside coordinator and not use Katie. She was great during the sales process and dialing in our details for food, our diagram, etc. but things were just unorganized on the day of with communication to our vendors, primarily the DJ and photographer. Important things were not in our timeline and honestly, I didn't know to look for these things because I'm not a coordinator and have never done this before but it was clear during the wedding that things had to be shuffled because our timeline was not solid and vendors were not on the same page and this was Katie's job as the coordinator to clearly comm and put together a detailed timeline for everyone. She seemed a bit frantic at sometimes and again, things had be be shuffled during the wedding which was frustrating and there really wasn't a clear answer from her as to why or how it happened this way. We get that things have to be flexible but there were more than a few things and things that should have been on the timeline were not, again, we didn't really know what was missing because this is not in our wheelhouse and that's scum we had Katie but if we had to do it again, we would 100% hire an outside coordinator and we suggest you do too! read more

I've been there 4 times and I think they were remodeling because regular lunch was served in a different room, darker and not close to same ambiance as other room. Our fish and chips were over done, service was good. Now let's talk about the 3 previous lunches. All were 5 star, the dining area was open and airy, the view is Magnificent one of the Coronada Bridge with the bay and Naval ships, it really was great. Now the question is how to keep their quality up consistently. Or is this a hit or miss kind of place? I'll go back lunch is very reasonable but a lot of other places to give a shot to. read more

After much debate on what we should order, we both chose the Shrimp & Grits. And I'm so glad we did! It was delicious! The menu had some great choices to choose from. Okay so here's what I experienced. Good food overall, but some areas they should work on. Flies everywhere, dirty ketchup and hot sauce bottles where you pour from. I had the crab and crawfish eggs Benedict and it was pretty tasty. I tried the 3 pancake sampler and it was pretty good as well, and I tried the avocado toast which was pretty tasty, but they need to serve it with a steak knife because the sour dough bread crust is very hard to cut with a butter knife. Now, keep in mind this is basically a golf clubhouse restaurant so keep your expectations down a bit and you should be good. Would I come back??.. no unfortunately the flies and the dirty condiment bottles was just too much for me to be excited enough to recommend. As well, the service was just too slow waiting after getting seated. I think an intervention from a good foodie would do this place some good. read more

What a hidden gem that's been here most of my life! We celebrated my niece's graduation from SDSU here yesterday and how impressive is this place! Congraduation Alyssa!! We're so very proud of u! U did it depots the pandemic! My cousin has been having lunch here for decades working in Coronado and has always enjoyed the food here. I suppose since it is in the Coronado Golf Course, one would not think to venture off in here unless playing golf. However, our celebratory luncheon for my niece here was the perfect spot! It was entertaining to watch the golfers cruise by displaying their skills so the ambience was top notch especially on a nice May Gray San Diego Day. Even with the sun finally piercing through as we were served our lunch, it was not too hot nor unbearable uncomfortable sitting outside to enjoy our meal! ... And enjoy our meal was EXACTLY what we all did! James drove all the way from Arizona to enjoy his Bananas Fosters French Toast which he shared with us and it was legit! It was so good! If you've ever had Barona Casino's Buffet serving their Bananas Foster, that's how incredible his French toast tastes! It was good! My cousin and I plan to come back for brunch to enjoy that again! My cousin and I split the Truffle Burger and WOW! It came with glazed well done sugary sweet bacon with a. Sunny side up egg on top on a brioche seasoned bun accompanied by a wire basket of truffle shoestring fries. We tasted truffle here and there throughout the bites of burger we enjoyed but let me tell u what I enjoyed most... the almost burnt bacon on the bottom. Filipinos have this sugary fried meat called Tocino and that's what my delicious burger tasted like.. truffle with Tocino bacon! Wow! Game changer! I'm coming back to enjoy this burger again. Mind you, I'm not that fond of meat but when my body needs iron or protein, I will develop an hankering for it. The only other burger I have been impressed with was the arugula burger at Glen Ivy and was I put on the spot for which was the best. They are just both different but equally sensational in my mouth so u can't compare two children of yours... you love them both equally the same for different reasons. We also shared a Chicken Caesar salad which was also very good. James commented that the dressing did not taste like it came from a bottle. It did taste house made and fresh! Chicken was grilled to perfection as well. Truffle fries was delicious! They have their own ketchup which is spicy and tastes as if they put Tabasco sauce in it already. I highly recommend this spot serving high quality food with impeccable attentive and accommodating service. My cousin called days before to arrange for our party of about 20 and they graciously accommodated us reassuring her that they would have two servers for us. Our service was top notch. Ambience was amazing, comfortable, breathtaking and enjoyable! Don't be intimidated dining here for brunch or lunch just because this restaurant is at Coronado Golf course, it is open to the public and serves really good food with excellent service and relaxing atmosphere! I just had my sister's baby shower on the outdoor patio of the Feast and Fareway restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful but what made it truly amazing was the staff. Michael was SO EXTREMELY helpful moving tables for us, getting linens and just trouble shooting anything we needed. The two servers we had, Kelsey and Victoria were WONDERFUL. They were very attentive and served the food and dessert right on time. They also made a really nice beverage display station and were super sweet and helpful.
