I stopped by Febe Coffee with a friend and was intrigued by their diverse menu selection of drinks along with their secret menu. I opted for their Matcha Latte with Biscoff Cream on their secret menu. While there were plenty of people waiting, I was able to get my order quickly within 10 minutes. The matcha was smooth and earthy, while the Biscoff cream added a rich, sweet, and slightly spiced flavor that paired well with the matcha. The drink itself was on the more indulgent side like a dessert, but I still appreciated the quality of the matcha itself. Lots of unique drinks to try at Febe Coffee!
Great staff, friendly and quick service. I ordered an iced Spanish latte with sweet foam. It was delicious not the best Spanish latte I have had, but it was tasty. Def recommend a stop to try them out. They have tons of other drinks and diff cold foam flavors. The location has inside and outside seating with great vibes.
Great selection of drinks, I feel like they have a very interesting variety that can appeal to all kinds of tastes and palates. Super friendly and attentive customer service by the whole staff. Would like to try their double matcha, mango matcha and strawberry matcha next time. I did enjoy the ube and banana marchas. Not elite or perfect but very good. As for the coffee lotus eispanner with almond milk. Thought it was very balanced, not too sweet. It's a solid option. Oh and I think their logo / cup art is really freaking cool. I'm a fan. Cheers
A cute place in Irvine with a variety of drinks to choose from. Plenty of parking in the front with tables both inside and outside the cafe. I'm a hojicha fan so I ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha. I liked the nuttiness of the drink and the sesame was a wonderful addition to the flavor profile for about the average price point of similar specialty drinks ($7). Something to note though: even though it was evening time, all of the tables were full so I had to take my drink to-go. Aiming to return and try more of their menu (and hopefully stay longer too)!
Cute coffee shop that seems like a good place to get some work done. It's not that big overall but there was some seating both inside and outside. Overall thought this place was ok but I have friends that like the matcha here a lot so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing Panda latte: 3/5 it was ok but I don't think i'd order it again My boyfriend also got an ube matcha latte which he thought was just ok
I have seen this place on social media and was hoping to try it one day. Was in the area and this place popped up. So I gotta stop by to try it. Ordered the lotus latte & corn matcha. None of the drinks really stand out. The lotus was biscoff and there was nothing special about it. I had better. Same with the corn matcha. The corn flavor wasn't really there...matcha itself was not bad. Cute place Prob will not drive outta my way for it...
The coffee place is located in a tiny neighborhood plaza with a small parking lot. There are only 4 or 5 tables inside and 5 tables outside, 2 with umbrellas. They're best know for their matcha drinks but I went a different direction, ordering an iced Madagascar vanilla latte and choosing a raspberry pistachio croissant from their pastry case. The interior had no available seating so I sat at an unshaded outdoor table for a few minutes. I appreciated the judicious amount of ice in the latte (I dislike it when places over-ice the drink). It was just okay with no flavor of vanilla detected despite their note that their vanilla syrup is housemade. The pastry was very not-so-great. It wasn't warmed (as requested) and was quite dry. I couldn't taste any pistachio, even with some crumbles on top, and the raspberry was minimal. It was oddly sliced horizontally in half. Based on other reviews, come for the matcha drinks otherwise it's a pass.

Their drinks got smaller :( disappointing because I really love their drinks! And the price for the banana pudding matcha is still $7. You can go to other cafes/matcha spots in OC that have bigger drinks for that price.
The matcha is phenomenal here!! My husbands favorite is the banana matcha as seen in all the pictures. I am on a rotation from corn, black seasame and ube matcha. The space inside is outdated and a bit dirty...the matcha is the prize here! They have outdoor area and seating inside. Worth it for the matcha! There seems to be a line everytime we go! I wouldn't get coffee here...just matcha!
We stopped by Febe on our roadtrip down from LA SD because we were craving a matcha. Thankfully Febe is right off the 5 and easy to park in. The cafe itself is pretty small but there is plenty of outdoor seating. It seemed like this was the most popular spot in the shopping center. We ordered the blueberry matcha + regular matcha with oat milk and they were delicious! The blueberry syrup is so fresh and definitely the best i've ever had. They clearly use quality matcha as well. Would definitely recommend this spot.
You can tell when matcha drink is going to be good based on the color of the drink. And yes, the color was beautiful! The matcha here was very good. My friend got the blueberry latte and she really liked hers too! This place is such a cute place to play catch up with a friend. And the service here is pretty quick.
Considered good matcha to me! Nothing super special compared to the LA ktown ones haha. Service was friendly and fast, clean interior. - ube matcha: my friend got it 0% sweet. i would prefer maybe half sweet if they offer that customization. - corn matcha: personally, i didn't really taste the corn flavor. delicious matcha though. - strawberry matcha: delish! would get again. - double matcha: yum, standard, would order again.

I was recommended Febe Coffee from a friend and highly anticipated to try their matcha for the longest! They are a in a small shopping plaza, and the cafe looks like a house at first glance. Their entrance is a bit hidden, but not hard to find. The cafe is a hotspot on the weekend, but the wait to order and fast service was nothing short of. My friends and I all got three different matcha creations to try. I got their banana cream, one got the yuzu matcha tonic, and their matcha einspanner. I really liked the amount of banana pudding cream top on my latte, as well as crushed bits of vanilla wafers on top! It was super tasty as a dessert and drink in one! We all scarfed down our drinks, which is an indicator that they all hit the spot for our matcha fix. I will gladly return to Febe for their matcha items. They do have seasonal offerings as well that all sound interesting. read more
Decent seating for a small café with complementary water, I did not really notice any outlets Try the banana pudding Matcha latte with almond milk and a quarter sweetness. They're actually not overly sweet so I would probably would adjust this to more 50 or 75% sweetness next time. The macho was definitely strong with a bitter after tone They do have a fruit one restroom and Wi-Fi. This is a great place to study. Hang out and chill because there are several outside tables as well. This place does get busy, but they are pretty quick on completing the orders And they even have their branded stickers at the front if you want one read more
My friend and I stopped here for some matcha to sip on before our commute to LA for a day trip. I was eyeing the pandan matcha, and she got the corn matcha. Since the pandan matcha could be made dairy free (no milk in the pandan syrup), I ordered it with oat milk. My friend asked if they had 2% milk, and the cashier confirmed it, so that's what she got in her corn matcha. The lattes were creamy, smooth and not too sweet, thanks to my friend's reminder to request only 50% sweetness. read more

Won't be coming back. $8.50 for ice! Took about 2 sips and half the ube matcha drink is gone. The drink is decent but not worth the cost. $7 +$.50 oat +$1 tip for a cup full of ice and about 4oz of drinks. read more

Needed some caffeine before driving down to San Diego, so I stopped by Febe Coffee, a cute little neighborhood cafe. There was plenty of parking and seating both inside and outside. If you wanted to study, there are also outlets inside for your devices. I also like how bright it is in here since there is a lot of natural light from the windows. The staff was very nice and open to offering suggestions on what to order. I was stuck between two drinks- corn matcha and island ube. So, I got both to try.. The corn matcha was my favorite of the two. The corn flavor was subtle but meshed well with the matcha. Neither flavor overpowered the other. The island ube has an ube/macademia flavor and matcha foam, so it sounds really yum. However, I thought it was okay. There are plenty of different matcha and other latte options. As for the next time I'm here, I want to try their Lotus einspanner! So, I will definitely be back in the near future! read more
This was a small cafe with some indoor and outdoor seating. Of note, the parking lot is quite small and can be packed likely during peak times. It was not the case when I went during the morning on a weekday. Got the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was super good. Presentation was on point. They even had some wafers/cookie on top of the drink. Nothing in the drink was overpowering the other and the cream on top definitely tasted really good. They got a wide variety of matcha drinks and would love to try their other ones another time. The other drinks were: Lotus Eninspanner, Strawberry Matcha, and Berry Berry Hibiscus. read more
First time trying this coffee shop and now I totally get the hype. This place is a must-try if you love matcha I ordered the ube matcha and the ube latte with strawberry foam, and my husband got the banana pudding matcha and the mango matcha. Every single drink was good, but the ube latte was my favorite -- perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not bitter at all. Super smooth, easy to drink, and honestly makes you want another one right away. The shop itself is really clean and cute, but just a heads up: it's pretty small, so coming with a big group might be tough since seating is limited both inside and outside. That said, the service was quick and efficient, and we didn't wait long for our drinks at all. Overall, we loved it and I'll definitely be back (probably becoming a regular ). We stopped by here on our way to San Diego with our dogs, and it was a nice little coffee break! I love Biscoff, so naturally I ordered the Lotus Einspänner. The server did warn me it was sweet -- I even asked for it less sweet -- but it was still pretty sweet not a bad thing, just something to note.. I've only been once, so not much more to say yet, but I like how creative their menu is. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back to try other flavors like the corn matcha or banana pudding matcha, which both sound fun and unique. Overall, a solid stop if you're nearby and into specialty drinks with playful flavors! read more
Came on a Saturday around 1 pm and there was a short line to order. Parking was a bit difficult in the lot. We ordered 3 drinks: -Banana pudding matcha (4.5/5): banana cream was sweet and creamy, a little strong and artificial tasting but mixed well with the smooth matcha. A little too much cream -Double matcha (4/5): matcha cream was strong but a little sweet for me -Lotus einspanner (5/5): tasty and nicely sweet, biscoff cream really tasted like biscoff! Coffee is smooth and not overly strong They were quite busy but drinks came out after a short wait. Not that much indoor and outdoor seating. I would come back to try their other drinks! read more

Heard good things about their matcha so had to check it out! Came on a Saturday afternoon and was a bit hard to find parking in the parking lot. Short wait to order and receive our drinks. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. We got 3 drinks- Banana cream matcha (4.5/5): The banana cream is sweet and strong, matcha was smooth. A little too much cream Double matcha (4/5): A little sweet for my taste Lotus einspanner (4.5/5): Coffee is smooth and not overly strong which was great for me. Love the Biscoff cream Drinks are a decent size for the price. I would come back for the banana cream matcha or try their other matcha cream tops! read more
I've been wanting to try Febe Coffee for some time since they are known for their matcha drinks. I got the ISLAND UBE, which was ube, macadamia, and matcha cream ~$7 and the MADAGASCAR VANILLA LATTE $6.50. Both drinks were good, not great. The ube drink was a little watered down. The coffee was good, but the small size was approximately 8 oz, which is smaller than the 12 oz I am used to. I would probably rate the drinks at 3.5 stars. Customer service was good and it was busy inside. They also sell breakfast items to pair with your coffee or tea if you are hungry or want a snack. Happy Thanksgiving! I've been on the hunt for a good banana pudding matcha (which is surprisingly harder to find than I'd thought), and I think I've found it!! Sooo good and just what I wanted! Only complaint is I wish I could order ahead either by phone or online to avoid the wait. read more
Cute and cozy minimalistic cafe in a quiet plaza in Irvine. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Pretty good selection of matchas which I love. Tried the corn matcha this time (can't go wrong with corn anything-if you know you know). Matcha was delicious and the corn cold foam was creamy/rich/lightly sweet. Absolutely loved it. In terms of bites, not much of selection. Few croissants and cookies for snacking. Not a brunch or breakfast spot. Nice place to grab some caffeine and chat with friends. Love they're right across from one of my favorite Korean restaurants so do see myself stopping by after food more often. read more
Febe Coffee is one of my favorite coffee spots in Irvine. Their corn matcha is easily the best I've had in Irvine--creamy, nutty, lightly sweet, and well balanced. Quality is consistent, the drinks are thoughtfully made, and the staff is friendly and efficient. The space has a clean, calm vibe that makes it easy to come back. Always a solid stop when I'm craving matcha. read more

Was recommended here by a friend and so I decided to work remotely here while waiting for a meeting later in the day. Small parking lot but enough parking for all of the surrounding businesses. There are a few tables outside along with a few tables inside, be sure to come earlier as UCI is nearby and so students sometimes come and do work here. They do have free WiFi, the info is where you pick up your order. If you're seated outside they also have a display that is set up and it reads the order numbers out loud in addition to displaying them on the screen Shoutout to Yahaira ! First of all, she let me try different creams that they use in the drinks and she recommended the Banana Pudding Matcha, which I ordered. Banana Pudding Matcha: 5/5 Matcha topped with a banana cream topped with Nilla wafers Would recommend! I want to try the strawberry matcha next, they add strawberry puree underneath the matcha, then it gets topped with strawberry cream read more
It was a cute little matcha spot that I wanted to try. They were kind and came out with my order quick. I ordered a double matcha 30% sweet and a cold brew. The double matcha was good quality and satisfying. The cream top wasn't as thick as I prefer but it was still good and blended well into the drink. Overall a good matcha. Solid Matcha spot, they have a seats and WiFi so definitely a cozy cafe to work on homework or just chill. The workers greeted us with smiles and the matcha itself was good, not bad quality by any means. YUM YUM MATCHAAAA super good price too for a solid, good sized cup of matcha and the color is a pretty rich green too. their drinks do run on the sweeter side but its not too much and the flavors for the different cream tops are so good. the banana pudding matcha and black sesame hojicha were both yum. there isn't too much indoor seating and actually not that great for studying cause the tables r pretty small but there are some tables and seats outdoors read more

Went in a little after 8am and service was quick and friendly! I had the matcha americano, it was nice and refreshing with a lightly earthy taste. The other drinks were well received too! The only thing is we weren't sure if the foam topping on the lotus einspanner was still dairy even though oat milk was requested in the drink itself, so if you're lactose intolerant I'd ask about that. Overall would definitely come back - seems like they have some seasonal/special drinks so there's always something new to try. read more

They even have wifi but there's super limited seating so I'd recommend you get there in the morning to snag a spot if you want to work there. We ordered a banana matcha latte [7/10] & a strawberry matcha latte [6/10]. Overall, the drinks aren't bad, I just don't think I'd become a regular here. The service is rlly good, the line moves pretty fast, and they're pretty considerate from what I've seen. There's not alot of outlets, so it's not the best study spot here, but to just hanging around and talking to friends could be a vibe. Decent amount of parking in the plaza. read more

The Mango Matcha and Blueberry Matcha was so good. Both alone are worth coming back. The guy who took our order was friendly and welcoming. Everything about the drinks were great. Not too much ice nor too much cream etc. This location is pretty small with limited seating so on busy days I can see it being overcrowded. Overall solid matcha cafe in oc. read more
I came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Parking was a little difficult, but we got lucky with it. The coffee shop itself is a little small with seating inside and outside. The line was a little long when i got there, but it moved really quickly. The person working the register was super helpful. I got a corn matcha latte, which was SO good! I don't usually see this as an option so I wanted to try it out, and I'm glad I did. read more
I've came to Febe twice now, although the first time I didn't get anything so I can't say much about that. Their location is definitely easy to miss and once you miss that first turn in you do have to go around the block to go inside the plaza again. The store is decorated nicely, with some seating inside and outside. I also like that they offer water for you. As for our drinks we only waited about 10 minutes which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. I got the blended coconut coffee and it was delicious. You definitely taste the coconut flavor but I do wish the coffee was a little stronger as after the first couple sips the drink felt a little diluted. Overall still a good drink though! read more

Ordered their Island ube matcha with oat milk and mango matcha with oat milk. Both were delicious and had strong ube and matcha taste. Then we had the iced Madagascar vanilla latte, and iced hibiscus berry drink on a second visit. Very disappointed to pay extra $1 for oat milk and the latte tasted like old beans and nothing vanilla like the description. The hibiscus berry drink came with some green syrup at the bottom and tasted like colored soda water? No hibiscus flavor here either. Maybe the strawberry popping boba was supposed to offer the "berry" part? Either way this place is only good for what's on their photo offerings. So at $6-7 each, I expected more from that. There's a small patio out front with umbrellas to hang out with friends if the inside is too packed. Parking lot is small and is shared with other businesses here so might be a bit difficult during rush eating hours. Tried a mango matcha! It was solid, I think the matcha is just right in terms of strength. It is not bitter, so definitely not super strong nor is it too mild. I wouldnt be mad if it was stronger but it is a well balanced drink overall. Definitely dessert-like. Mango foam was pretty good also, reminds me of mango yogurt in flavor but better. Will definitely be back to try the other matchas! They have quite some einspanner options. read more

I can't say too much about this place since I've only tried one drink there but the one I had was soooo good! It's their biscoff cookie latte. I forget if that's the name but it's basically flavored with the biscoff cookie butter and has crumbs on top. It was one of the most delicious lattes I have ever had. Parking can be kind of annoying here. It's sometimes a struggle to find a decent spot. Seating is a little limited inside but there's more outside. The staff has been friendly so far when I visited. Can't complain. read more

Is the matcha really bitter? Or does the cream balance the flavor out? Trying to avoid getting the drink with full sweetness because I don't know what added sugar is used.
