Considered good matcha to me! Nothing super special compared to the LA ktown ones haha. Service was friendly and fast, clean interior. - ube matcha: my friend got it 0% sweet. i would prefer maybe half sweet if they offer that customization. - corn matcha: personally, i didn't really taste the corn flavor. delicious matcha though. - strawberry matcha: delish! would get again. - double matcha: yum, standard, would order again.
My friend and I stopped here for some matcha to sip on before our commute to LA for a day trip. I was eyeing the pandan matcha, and she got the corn matcha. Since the pandan matcha could be made dairy free (no milk in the pandan syrup), I ordered it with oat milk. My friend asked if they had 2% milk, and the cashier confirmed it, so that's what she got in her corn matcha. The lattes were creamy, smooth and not too sweet, thanks to my friend's reminder to request only 50% sweetness.
I honestly wanted to like this place more because I've seen it all over Instagram and it looked really good, but I left feeling a little disappointed. I ordered the Spanish latte and the Royal milk tea, and both were just okay. Not bad, but nothing really stood out. The place itself is nice though lots of outdoor seating and a good vibe if you just want somewhere chill to hang out.
Was eating lunch in the plaza so stopped here for matcha. The inside is pretty small with very little seating space. They have some tables outside with umbrellas. We waited in line for about 10 min to order and then another 10 min for the drinks. I got the double matcha ($7) which tasted pretty authentic. The cup size is decent for this price. The matcha foam was nice and creamy.
Okay first timer here! That was DELISH. We ordered the egg coffee for some added protein and we also got the lemonade matcha. Servers were patient because I rushed there from work before catching a movie right after. Ambience is nice, there are 3 tables to sit and sip, they also sell food! Bathroom is available for customers as well :)
YUM YUM MATCHAAAA super good price too for a solid, good sized cup of matcha and the color is a pretty rich green too. their drinks do run on the sweeter side but its not too much and the flavors for the different cream tops are so good. the banana pudding matcha and black sesame hojicha were both yum. there isn't too much indoor seating and actually not that great for studying cause the tables r pretty small but there are some tables and seats outdoors
Came here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon and although all the tables were taken, there was no line and the drinks came out really quickly. I ordered the Island Ube and the Lotus Einspänner--both were really yummy! My favorite was definitely the Island Ube. The flavors came together so well, especially with the hint of macadamia nut and coconut. It was super refreshing. Next time, I might add a shot of espresso for a little caffeine kick. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks!
Febe is quickly becoming one of my favorite regular coffee shops. We've visited both of their locations, and the only major difference is space and parking. As far as we could tell, the taste and quality are consistent! My personal favorite is the Sea Salt Nutty. The taste reminds me more of mazapán, and its perfectly creamy! My girlfriend prefers their matcha, with the banana pudding as her favorite. Everyone who works there is sweet and genuine. My first time, the barista offered me a small sample of the Sea Salt Nutty cream top to see if I'd like it. Parking at the Irvine location is a bit rough, so give yourself enough time. Spaces are small! Not Febe's fault, just a heads up.
Omg I am so sad this is nowhere near where I live this place was incredible!! I came by with a friend while on a road trip and we both loved our drinks. There is free plaza parking available and limited indoor seating. Service was polite and quick. Banana pudding matcha 5/5, I savored this over the next two hours of our drive omg, this was very delicious and I loved the blend of the more bitter matcha with the sweet banana pudding! Strawberry matcha 4/5, my friend got this and enjoyed it but I did think that the strawberry overpowered the matcha
I was craving a hojicha and had a friend recommend this spot. I thought the hojicha latte could have been stronger and creamier, it tasted a little watered down. I also tried the black sesame hojicha, which had a nice nutty flavor. A small complaint I had about the service was that when I went to the counter to get my drinks, they were so full and did not have a lid on yet. When I tried to put a lid, it spilled all over the counter because it was so full. While I hate to complain about getting more, the inconvenience was not worth it. There is a some interior seating, and I saw a few people on their laptops studying and working.
I finally got to try this place out! This might be my go to matcha spot if I'm ever around the area. I decided to get the mango matcha and it did not disappoint! I recommend lowering the sugar level if getting this drink since the mango is sweet! However, I enjoyed that the drink did not skip out on the mango flavor since there's mango puree at the bottom and mango cream on top. They had limited seating inside and outside but they were both full when my friend and I came. I'll be back and can't wait to try their other drinks.
It was a cute little matcha spot that I wanted to try. They were kind and came out with my order quick. I ordered a double matcha 30% sweet and a cold brew. The double matcha was good quality and satisfying. The cream top wasn't as thick as I prefer but it was still good and blended well into the drink. Overall a good matcha. I will definitely be back to try the banana pudding matcha (looked delicious).
Solid Matcha spot, they have a seats and WiFi so definitely a cozy cafe to work on homework or just chill. The workers greeted us with smiles and the matcha itself was good, not bad quality by any means. I'm visiting my cousin here in Irvine and she recommended this spot, and it does not disappoint
YUMMMYY :) I think they have such a huge variety of matchas to choose from but I got the black sesame hojicha because I was craving. It was super yummy and the black sesame wasnt too sweet. The staff are really nice and willing to adjust anything for the drink. I came on sunday afternoon and there was quite a bit of people there but I waited 8 minutes for my drink which wasnt bad for the amount of people in there. read more

I am super happy we finally have a comparable coffee shop in Irvine! I've come here a few times to try the various coffee and matcha drinks and would say some are definitely better than others. My favorite by far is The Nutty which is a peanut butter foam. I've tried the double matcha and banana matcha and while they are solid, sometimes taste a bit artificial. I still need to try the corn and ube matcha! The parking lot here can get quite crowded around the entrance but if you circle around back, there's usually plenty of spots. The interior of this place also has quite small little tables so it's not great for doing work. Outside has larger tables but not as much shaded tables but they do have wifi. read more
Small cafe in a plaza. Limited parking. Seating for about eight people but they manage space well! Fairly attractive, spacious restroom without a cipher lock. At 1130 on a weekday there were usually about five people waiting for drinks. The cushions look like they are fixed but they can be moved. The first time I came here, I ordered a banana Matcha, which is 10/10!! It was so good that I couldn't wait to come back. After a month of having this on my mind, we finally decided to come back and we ordered the black sesame hojicha (milk tea base) and lotus einspanner (espresso) at 50% sweetness with less ice. I've definitely recommended a few people to come try Febe already. This is probably one of the better coffee/matcha spots in Irvine, but I still like the coffees in fountain valley better (Long Black Coffee still holds #1 title for me for einspanners, its just too far to drive to) read more
Egg Coffee was delicious I ordered it extra sweet. The service was slow. They only had 2 workers. The lines were long. I felt bad for the two ladies. Ambiance is what you expect for this type of a coffee shop. There was a cool old record player. A few seats inside and 5 tables outside. I'll be back the next time I'm in the O.C read more

I keep coming back despite that it's out of my way and that makes me late for work lol! The matcha is nice and strong here, I have a low tolerance for caffeine and it has me bouncing off the walls for 8 hours. I've only had their mango matcha and strawberry matcha but I love both of them because they have the puree and the foam in the fruit's flavor! I think that's a great deal for $7. I will keep returning because there's a bunch of matcha I still need to try! Also, the workers are very nice! read more
Febe coffee. Parking can be rough lucky I found myself a spot. But I can imagine it be hard during peak hours for these businesses The vibe. Workers. Nobody smiles. Nobody looks happy. Flow for the employees definitely off. Reflects on The customers cause everyone look like they been waiting too long like at the dmv. Lotus einspanner was not good. Coffee way too strong. Flavor not there. Wasn't a fan at all Banana matcha. Was decent. Decent banana flavor. I think they do go over board with the toppings on both of my drinks. Overall just not a good experience starting with the vibe. We need more good energy from this place read more
Cute little cafe with many different matcha variations here, as well as coffee and other non caffeinated drink options! 'Banana Pudding Matcha': loved that it was topped with actual banana pudding! Matcha flavor was decent, but the drink was surprisingly not too sweet! 'Strawberry Cream': this drink was so pretty! It's a non caffeinated drink option, strawberry flavor was kinda artificial tasting and I did find this to be a bit on the sweeter side. Space is clean and modern, and they have a few seating inside and outside! Drinks came out pretty quick too. read more

Excited to try this for the first time and i loved how they had a large selection of einspanner drinks! I opted for the strawberry matcha einspanner. i like the strawberry part of the drink, the foam was very yummy. The matcha was not as strong as how i would've liked it to be. i think maybe next time i'll try the matcha einspanner or double matcha to give their matcha another chance read more
Perfect matcha! This is my favorite matcha place. Double matcha had the perfect creaminess and sweetness. The banana was also great and you can tell they used ripe bananas. The wafer cookies are a great touch with a crunchy bite. Would come here every day or I could. It was busy but they were quick. Small seating inside and outside the store. read more
This spot is worth trying if you're a cafe lover! There are many options worth trying, and lots of cream top drinks too. We tried the strawberry matcha and the double matcha. The strawberry was very overpowering, especially since it was in the cream top and on the bottom. I liked the flavor of the strawberry because it tastes fresh and non-artificial. The double matcha flavor was a bit subtle for my liking. Both drinks weren't too sweet and very creamy. The interior and exterior have lots of tables for working or hanging out. - cute farmhouse style coffee shop in a small plaza - really kind staff, they were busy but still worked effectively and quickly! - some seats inside and out - makes for a good study/work or hangout area drinks: (1) sea salt nutty (5/5) - my new favorite drink!! i love peanut butter lattes and am so glad they have a great one here. the peanut butter cream top tastes like the inside of a reeses and the slight saltiness really balances everything out. the latte itself had a strong espresso flavor! every component paired together so well (2) matcha yuzu tonic (5/5) - a refreshing drink for hot summers. the yuzu is super strong and overpowers the matcha a little but it's still so yummy and fizzy. the matcha can be tasted after with its slight bitterness, overall very yum! read more

Was in the area and heard about this shop! I got the Spanish latte with banana pudding cream top. It was soooo goood! My boyfriend started stealing my drink because it was so delicious. The place was very busy but the drinks still came out very quickly. It looked like a cute spot to stay and work too. The staff were all friendly. Will definitely be stopping by again! read more
Tried the strawberry matcha; pretty good and came out quickly! Small plaza but there's more parking as you drive around the horseshoe. Also, there's like a car leaving every minute or so, so it's not too bad. (I came on a weekday around noon.) Inside, there's only 3 small tables to work at and when I was there, all were taken and looked they they were gonna stay for awhile. Outside, there's like 4 bigger tables and a couple umbrellas. They do offer WiFi to study and/or work. Also, there's a restroom (I think one full room, so it's all gendered) and a water station. read more

I stumbled upon this quaint little cafe while visiting Irvine, and must say it was a great find! The drinks here are delicious. I ordered a strawberry hojicha which had a strawberry cream on top...and I couldn't stop sipping. My friends ordered their matcha and coffee with cream tops and each one had great flavor. The staff was so helpful with my questions and very friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area!! read more
Was so excited to come back to Febe coffee but was quite disappointed with the mango matcha I originally raved over. Either the recipe changed or the barista made my drink very different. The mango puree at the bottom didn't have real mango bits anymore, the cream top had a VERY light mango flavor, and the drink wasn't garnished with matcha powder. My friend had the banana pudding matcha and said it was reallyyyy bad... Unfortunately don't know if I'd come back if the quality is going down like this at $8+ a drink. read more
NEW matcha & coffee shop in Irvine (replaced BAUM coffee)!! Thought I'd check out the hype and I have to say it's a little overrated. Only 3-4 indoor tables & mainly outdoor seating so not great for a hot summer day. It was also pretty packed so best for pickup or a short yap session. Parking can also be rough in this plaza especially on a weekend. The food and drinks were kinda disappointing....a little watered down or not strong in flavor: - Egg scramble sando - super runny & felt like something we could make at home - Strawberry matcha - our fave with the perfect ratio & sweetness!! Would get it again 10/10 - Banana pudding matcha - can taste the banana but not the matcha :-( - Lotus einspanner - a biscoff cream top latte but didn't taste like biscoff? just very diluted Many of my friends loved their drinks so maybe we just came on a bad day. I plan to give it a second chance & hopefully can say it's better! read more
I'm very surprised about how much I liked this matcha/coffee spot. I tried their island matcha and it was very yummy. It was the perfect mix of macadamia nut, coconut, and ube. The matcha foam was heavenly. I recommend just sipping from the cup and not using a straw to enjoy the foam and drink at the same time. My sister enjoyed the mango matcha. I'm excited to try their other matches and coffee. I would like to try their yuzu matcha tonic, black sesame hojicha, and corn matcha. The line can get long. read more

Small coffee shop with small amount of seating outside but still very busy and popular. Ordered quickly and got a number which was called out. There were a large variety of einspanners so I tried the lotus einspanner which is a biscoff flavored cream and crumbles on top. Needed to mix it really well and the coffee espresso didn't taste too strong but the drink tasted good. Got the mango yakult as well which tasted mainly like mango nectar with slight hint of yakult. read more

Solid 4/5! Brand new matcha shop in Irvine and you can't go wrong. They have very limited indoor seating here, so expect to sit outside. The drink was not too sweet which I loved. I definitely want to try just the normal matcha to give a better verdict on the matcha quality. I was a little iffy on actually tasting the matcha. I believe they use stereoscope matcha. The sweet cream foam top is soooooo yummy, definitely my favorite part of the drink. Be warned, you will finish your drink in 3-5 sips . read more
What a lovely find! The matcha drinks here are super good. Especially if you are into cream top drinks. I've been here a few times not and have ordered both the Mango Matcha and Strawberry Matcha. The fruit puree is very fresh and is such a good match with the flavors of matcha. The cream top is also not too heavy and balances the drink very well. My favorite go-to would have to be the Mango Matcha. I do see a lot of Strawberry Matcha at different places, but mango flavor is harder to find. Plus, it's summer so I enjoy a good tropical flavor to celebrate the season. The service here is pretty quick, even when it gets busy and it can get quite busy. The ambience is nice with some indoor and outdoor seating. Ever since this place opened, the area is much more lively. The parking lot is pretty big as it extends to the back so parking is never an issue. I'm excited to try their coffee drinks next, but highly recommend the matcha drinks. read more
food: the drinks at Febe were excellent! Their matcha stands out. Smooth , flavorful, and not overly sweet. We also tried a couple of their cold foam options on the drinks , and I loved how they were light and balanced, without the thick, overly sugary texture you sometimes get elsewhere. Everything tasted fresh and well made. ambiance: The shop has a cozy, minimalist vibe with limited indoor seating. However, there's plenty of outdoor seating available, making it a great spot to hang out when the weather's nice. The overall atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, perfect for catching up with a friend or enjoying a solo coffee moment. service: Service was super friendly and attentive. Even though the shop was busy when we visited, staff took the time to greet everyone and recommended their most popular drinks. The wait time was surprisingly short considering the crowd, which made the experience even better. read more
Yummy banana matcha in Irvine! I arrived around 3:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. There is limited parking but I was able to find a spot fast. When I walked in there was a lot of people sitting down but no one in line. I was able to order fast and my drink came out a few minutes later. I ordered the banana matcha and it was so good! I love the banana crème they used, it has that real banana taste. The matcha was also very good, not too bitter or too sweet. I like the cookie bits on top, it makes the drink look very nice. I like the assortment of matcha drinks they have on their menu so I'm definitely coming back to try. If you love matcha then check out Febe! :D read more

We almost missed the bus for Febe (our own decision) but it was worth it! Both me and my partner got a drink from Febe: matcha for him, coffee for me. We both had a sip of ours and loved it equally! The atmosphere is very nice here too, especially on a late night! Thank you for a pleasant experience! read more
Came here for a midday pick me up drink and for what was my first matcha ever! They had a lot of different flavor options for the matcha including a double matcha drink as well! The building itself is pretty small on the inside and doesn't have a ton of seating but there is a small outdoor patio area too. Parking lot is also a little small but overall for a quick grab and go, would be great! read more

We come here more mornings than I like to admit! The staff is all so friendly and real -- and more than one of the cashiers have already memorized my wife's order (which I dig). I've tried multiple Einspanner Coffees, as well as basic caps & latte's, and haven't been disappointed yet. The fact that the pricing is reasonable and they have a points program that quickly rewards are simply bonuses. We wish there were more umbrella's out front so we could stick around more often because it's a surprisingly relaxing patio -- especially given that the tiny center it's in and the corner it's on are not. They're definitely doing something special to get the vibe right. read more

Their banana matcha is okay, I wouldn't say it's something worth trying. I could not really taste the banana. Their latte drink is decent. The place itself is small but cozy and staff are friendly. I think it has good potential to grow. read more
10/10 coming back for the Ube matcha & all the other variations of matcha drinks! My friend got a tea refresher drink and loved it too! Service was quick and the staff were kind & helpful! The coffee shop offered some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating which I loved. read more

Decided to get a tea before work in the morning and I got the black sesame hojicha. The black sesame flavor really comes through. The hojicha flavor is usually pretty light in lattes but I did taste the hojicha in this drink. However, there was a lot of ice in the drink so once the ice melted a bit, I could only taste the black sesame. I will get it with less ice next time. 50% sweet was just right. The decor inside is very nice and clean. Service was friendly as well. Glad there is a good tea place open in the morning now. read more
Perfect destination for matcha lovers! It's located in a small plaza and the shop itself is also very small. There's limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating. I recommend their signature matchas. I got their strawberry matcha (50% sweet) and I really enjoyed it! I love the creamy strawberry foam on top and the fact that it was not too sweet. Looking forward to trying other signature matchas in the future! read more
Came here at 9:20 am and was able to snag a table but there's only three so it's more of a place that you would go to if you're looking to just pick up a drink rather than study or catch up with a friend. I got a lotus einspanner latte, which was pretty solid and a decent size. I also ended up getting a croissant, which I wouldn't recommend. But I would definitely be interested in trying another one of their coffees if I'm in the area. read more
CARD ONLY, NO CASH ACCEPTED. I know They do allow tip in cash. Located next to Seoul House. New, clean location. Small parking space, however vehicles are always leaving so you'll get a spot for sure. Matcha is normal tasting matcha, but their cream top is what makes it delicious. We tried their Banana pudding and Strawberry Matcha, both with Oat milk and easy ice. They offer more Oat milk, if you request less ice, make sure you ask them for extra matcha. Sweetness should be adjusted to your typical levels. Rate Matcha here a 3-4 but cream top is about 8-9. Service of employees was more than accommodating; they were so wonderful. read more
