Food is always really good and really fast, service is always good kind of expensive though

Feed Co Burgers has a promising menu and an attractive ambiance - and I had high hopes for it. But the reality was disappointing. The BIM burger promised shiitakes, scallions, gingered beef, pickled daikon and kimchi aioli -- a flavor explosion. The presentation was very good - the food looked like it would be delicious. In reality, the BIM burger tasted like a pretty ordinary burger, with only small hints of those piquant flavors. I'm not sure why what should have been dramatic and distinct flavors with a certain zing to them on a great-looking burger containing ginger ended up like a standard flavorless burger, but that's kind of what happened. I was surprised there was so little flavor - I wonder how long the strongly flavored ingredients had been sitting around in bins losing their taste before being put on the burger ... my speculation aside, it was not the flavor explosion one would expect based on the menu description. The onion rings were perfectly edible - made with a tempura-like batter - the batter was heavy enough so that they were dominated by the fried tempura batter, while the onion flavor was secondary. So, ok, but disappointing (which is to say, nothing special). Finally, this is a counter-service burger joint with restaurant pretensions - the burger was $9.75 (a price increase of 25₵ over the menu posted on-line), but with taxes and tip, that simple meal cost $17.56 ... hardly a quick / cheap-eats burger lunch. read more

Feed Co is a personal fave and the closest burger joint to my home. They're always fast, the burgers extremely juicy and big, and I think it's a great value. Thick patties, excellent toppings, and inventive flavor combos for $10? Yes please! Last night I got the teriyaki burger and subbed grilled chicken for no charge. Awesome sauce, slaw, candied bacon, and pineapple on that one, with a generously sized piece of chicken. The mushroom burger is another favorite: it's suuuuper savory and dripping with juices. Their fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings are all excellent. I think they use a tempura style batter for the sweet tatos, which lends a nice extra crispness. I also love how many dipping sauces they have and I always get extra truffle and chipotle aiolis to save for later! read more

Fantastic burgers, fries, shakes, as well as the surprise hit of top tier fish tacos! I discovered Feed Co. Burgers when I moved to the area recently, and would absolutely recommend. I recently worked with them to cater a local short film, and their service was above and beyond what I expected! Incredibly kind and accomodating staff and owner. So I saw the stories online for the amazing Turducken Sandwich that I saw on TV. I've never had a Turducken before and they made it sound so yummy. The sandwich itself was good. Messy. I thought it was a tad underseasoned. I was hoping for more flavor. I got the onion ring with it and they were good, but cold. They must've been sitting out. I was a bit let down by the experience. If I'm in the area again, I may try some Of the other burgers on the menu. Doubt I'll make a special trip like I did for the Turducken sandwich. read more

The trendy burger scene has officially found its way into Seattle. Rustic atmosphere? Check. Good service? Check. Overpriced and lackluster food? You bet. I came here with friends after a short bike ride and were looking for a quick bite to grab outside. There were a lot of people waiting outside Feed Co., so we thought that it would be a great place to eat. The line moved incredibly slowly, as there were ~20 people waiting at the counter for two cashiers to take their orders. The cashiers were really friendly, but the service was just extremely slow. I ordered the spicy lamb burger, which was a 6oz. lamb patty that came with feta cheese, peppers, and a brioche bun. I honestly should have known better, but this Mediterranean style combination is much better suited for a bowl than a burger. The brioche bun just felt really strange with the rest of the ingredients, and the feta at the top of the burger made the bun mushy halfway through. The most disappointing part was definitely the patty itself. It tasted nothing like lamb! You could have given this burger to me and told me that it was beef - I would have believed you. It was a little too lean and cooked too long for my liking, leaving a combination of dry meat and soggy bun. Not fun. My friends ordered milkshakes, which I tried and really enjoyed though. If I ever come back here again, it'll be just for the shakes. You're better off going to Five Guys to be honest. read more

I'm always looking for a new burger place to check out and I'm glad that Feed Co. opened up a location in the Central District (their other location is in Redmond). This is a fast-casual concept where you order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. They have a great selection of burgers and fried snacky goodness like sweet potato fries, onion rings, and tempura. But you really have to try their milkshakes, super rich and decadent! They also gladly swap out a normal carb-loaded brioche bun for a lettuce wrap if you're trying to go low-carb like me! read more

Pretty patties are served up here at Feed Co. in the CD. Such a cute little spot in the up and coming area, with floor to ceiling windows lining the resto throughout. The menu is simple and easy to follow, but also has enough variety for everyone to find something they enjoy. The set up is pretty similar to their sister store, Uneeda Burger, but with easier seats to get into! Imagine trying to get into a bench table with a sundress on... girl it ain't pretty! My go-to here is always the Classic Feed Burger! Sometimes I will add cheese or bacon, but most of the time I like it OG! The meat tastes so amazing here, it truly has a beefy flavor to the patty, which is why I keep coming back for more! The lettuce and tomato are always crisp and fresh. The Quinns sauce adds a nice karate kick at the end. The sweet potato fries alone are worth the visit. The most crispy, most flavorful thangs I have ever placed in my mouth. Oh so perfect plain, or with a side of ketchup! If you want a burger remniscent of beautiful Krabby Patties as seen on Spongebob Squarepants, this is your spot. This review is strictly for the Baja chicken sandwich, which I would give 1 star, but my boyfriend absolutely loves this place, so I added a couple for his testimony. I guess the Big Frank burger is delicious. I finally ate here with him and got the Baja chicken sandwich. It was a disaster. I really wish I would have taken a pic. The concept is great, but the execution was just pure greasy mush with a chicken patty in there. I could not distinguish between the salsa, sauce, and peppers. All I could really point out was lots of corn. If you're going to do charred chilies they should have some bite to them still and not be just green and black sludge. I also only had 4 or 5 little shreds of jicama/radish. After a few failed bite attempts with the sandwich completely falling apart I just ate the chicken out of it and threw the rest away. If Feed Co could rework this one with less mush and more crunch I think it could be really great! read more

Love, love, love. The food was great, the beers were great, and the service... well... great! I don't think we could have gone wrong with choosing any of their burgers, but we decided on the Blue Onion, a daily special, and onion rings. Gosh the buns were just perfect! At first glance I thought the burgers looked a tad small(first world problems), but the 2 burgers, onion rings and fries filled us up quickly! (My boyfriend is 6'1, ~200 pds and was stuffed) The restaurant itself had a great ambiance with amazing lighting. You can sit inside or enjoy their outside seating area. I saw a couple of people hanging outside with their pups. The neighborhood is a mixture of residential and commercial. Best burgers ever - especially the texicana. And really good shakes. Pretty consistently one of my favorite places to get burgers.

This place has cheated me today and stole my money. I ordered $50 worth of food on their own app. They charged my card and sent me a receipt and notice that my food fill be ready at 5:20. I came at 5:40, no food, no record of the order. Their phone number is not in service. The manager does not pick up the phone and the cashiers will not give me a refund. I will he reporting them to the bank as fraud. Will not go again and will tell everyone I know not to read more

Burger was pretty good. Patty is well done and I prefer medium rare but overall the flavor of the meat was great. I got the mushroom burger and added bacon which was the right call. Again bacon well cooked so a bit crispy. Friend got the lamb burger. Decent but the beef burger was better. Sides got chopped salad which I don't recommend, boring and not very "choppy". This used to be one of the best burger places in Seattle. But apparently they've got new management, and it's all gone to hell now. The to-go order I placed last night (for which I tipped $5 up front) didn't include the 2 dipping sauces. Also, I ordered one burger, but the bag had two. I don't even know what those were. They were not what I ordered. So I had to go back to the restaurant to resolve, which they promptly did. But when I tried to explain that the shake was not up to par they told me that it would be extra to make it the way they used to always make their shakes. They used to put the syrup in the cup around the edges before the shake, and then on top. This time, they didn't put any syrup in until I asked them to do so. All I can say is, it was a really lame shake. I asked them what happened, they used to be really good. They explained they have new management. So that's that. It's not even worth it anymore. This used to be my favorite burger spot in Seattle but lately the burgers have been over cooked and dry. It's a bummer. Always always always amazing friendly service! These are the best burgers I've had in any city anywhere (mushroom is my favorite). I have literally stopped ordering burgers when I'm traveling etc. because everything else is so disappointing in comparison. Tons of flavor, and all unique. My partner and I came here tonight for a last minute meal and were super well taken care of. Reniel was working the register and bar with charm and verve. He accommodated our wish to eat outside even though they were near closing time. The burgers were phenomenal and Reniel gave us personal attention making it feel like a truly special night. I could name 20 better burger spots in Seattle off the top of my head. About all this place is good for is filling your stomach. Very average burgers and hit-or-miss at that. My most recent experience was my third try and I probably will not be going back even though I live very close. I ordered a classic burger and added a patty. I didn't realize cheese was not included so had to eat a cheese-less burger, but that's on me. The patties were dry, overcooked and under-seasoned. I don't understand how something so simple can be messed up. Next time I'm craving a burger I'm definitely making the trek elsewhere. read more

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars because they are consistently delicious even with the disappointments. We live very near by and have ordered from them 20+ x over the last 1.5yrs. My notes: burgers are solid. Sometimes great, sometimes good, always reliable. The fries are hit or miss. We often reheat them to recross them. I find sauces necessary to enjoy them. Favorites are the turkey, BLT, and texicana. Not so good is the bacon side - you might pay 2$ for barely 2 thinly sliced small pieces... but you might also get a truckload. Highly variable. Our sauce order (4-6 different kinds) usually has at least one item that is not quite correct, but only once was were we missing something outright. Overall, I do recommend. read more

This place has taken a serious dive after it changed hands. Food is still fine, but the atmosphere is now...meh. They added a bunch of TVs, took out a lot of the character, and all of our favorite staff have gone. Great neighborhood casual burger place. More upscale than a fast food place, with prices to match, but nothing outrageous. While they have specialty burgers, Their best burger in our opinion is their "Classic Feed Burger" with cheese. Simple burger with a 4oz patty for $5. The menu is quite varied with burgers, sandwiches (Eg. BLT), hot dog (with chili and cheese option) and even salads. This is a nice spot; A clean modern-rustic blend with just enough charm and plenty of seating. I ordered the Porcini burger and my friend got the hot dog. We ordered at the counter and the food was brought out to us. The service was friendly and attentive. The bun was kind of rustic, maybe from a local bakery (?) and the burger was cooked around medium rare (yum!). Along with the porcinis and gruyere, the flavor of this burger lingered on my taste buds for awhile. While I can't say it's my favorite in town, it's how a burger should taste, for sure! The hot dog looked a bit sad and my friend didn't say anything about it. Perhaps because she only got it with cheese and not the chili and whatever else was supposed to come with it. Overall, I'm pretty glad my friend moved near Feed Co. because I wouldn't mind getting a regular burger fix here! read more

Cheese curds are great, veggie burger is good, but this review is mainly for the malt. If you are looking for a malty, malty malt, this is the place to go. I'm usually the type to ask for double malt, but I decided to just try the chocolate malt as it comes. It was so much malt, I'm obsessed. I've ordered 3 times. The first time they didn't honor my requests for gluten free food. The second time was AHHHHHmazing!!!!! My burger was cooked perfectly! Tonight we placed a big order for work. 20 burgers total. They did not label ANY of them. They were all over cooked. Parts of our order were missing. I would think with that large of any order they would have marked the burgers better so items wouldn't be left off. Not to mention we were charged about $30 in delivery fees as well. Perhaps it's fine in person, but not a great option for delivery or for a group. I wish I could get our money back since our order was almost $300. DO NOT EAT WINGS FROM HERE! Actually... JUST DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS PLACE!!! I first moved to Seattle two years ago and my first time trying it the burgers where fresh, tasted as if they farmed their own meat and took quality and doing so, NOW I can't even relate the quality in taste to a local McDonald's chain goodness (and that's speaking VOLUMES). Not to sure if it's new management or just lack of employee care but this upset me to have to spent $15 on 10 lemon pepper wings not to eat a single one. The fries were cold on arrival (we placed a DD) and the ranch, or at least what I thought was, tasted a little tarty. The burger was cooked well but not perfection, tasted like the meat was bought at Walmart, placed in the freezer for two extra days, then burnt and covered with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Now understood why they HAD to place two tomatoes on a single patty burger. Nice delicate sesame seed bun but other than that terrible! We also order a root beer which was nice and rich and creamy and one of their salads which came out decent but barely was saved by the boneless grilled chicken placed on top.
