Really had high hopes for an authentic Italian prosciutto panini sandwich experience. The meat is imported from Italy. But that's where the authenticity ends. I'm not certain that just ok imported cured meat from is enough to have a wildly successful sandwich shop in Beverly Hills. The espresso, despite having a big monstrosity of a machine that looks like it could make espresso for all the presidents and prime ministers of Europe, is just there for looks and makes meh cappuccino at best and ho hum lattes. Really nice bar in the heart of Beverly Hills, you can really feel the vibe of Italy also cause the bar is attended by many real italian. The coffee was great and also the sandwich. This is an excellent Caffe!! Yes there are sandwiches on the cooler, but that is smart thinking for those clients in a rush!! I have many sandwiches and thought they were 5star. Excellent choices, fresh products and found a very hard to find (boutique) product from QuattroCavalli (cookies and espresso). This place is chic, and feel like you are in Rome or Venice in a trendy place!. Lot's of people there with good taste. Also the manager, believe Daniela, was so pleasant and catering. I did not enjoy my lunch from here. I ordered the Parma Fantasia Salad and was told they had no prosciutto. Wow ok I guess that happens. They suggested cooked ham instead. Salad was a mix greens with tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese (it looked like American). There was plenty of ham on the salad, but it had a funny taste like it was going bad. It made the salad inedible and I should have returned rather than tossing it in the garbage. read more

This place was super yummy and the staff were very nice. A friend and I ran in before a networking meeting in the area just as they were getting ready to close. We never felt rushed and they were super friendly, recommending desserts and answering questions about the sandwiches. The food is fresh and tasty but the problem I have is with the fact that I purchased an $11 salad to go and they charged me $5 for tip without my knowledge. For that reason I will never go there again. That's rude and unprofessional. You should never charge a patron that much for an $11 salad and one that was a TAKE OUT order. read more

Love this place especially on Saturday mornings. A truly great coffee, amazing pastry, try their grilled veggies panini. Eating a prosciutto panino right now. High-class authentic Italian joint, reminds me of the best parts of eating in Italy. Ingredients are authentic, fresh and serving sizes even appeal to an American taste. (The friendly customer service also appeals to an American taste!) I had a macchiato last time I went and it was bold, kick you in the butt Italian coffee. Definitely a nice change from the trendy salad/vegan joints that usually open up around here and definitely coming back. read more

The food is amazing! The atmosphere is friendly and classy. Has an authentic Italian vibe to it according to a co-worker who lived in Italy for a couple years. It's a cute little café about a block away from where I get my hair cut. It's probably a spot most visited by regulars and a local crowd, as it's practically across the street from Villa Blanca, where all the tourists would go. They have a glass case on the right with some really delicious looking pastries and a chilled section on the left with premade items. Although the food was good and fresh I have to be honest the service is slow. Not a very comfortable seating arrangement either. Its great if you need to pick up something on the go and hopefully they check you out quickly unlike myself I had this couple in front of me deciding want to order from their menu.....meanwhile 5 min I'm just waiting to purchase my drink and salad so I can get back to work. A few steps away from parking garages that offer 2 free hours of parking, and a street away from Rodeo Dr., it's a delightful place to sit down for a light lunch. Stopped in for a quick lunch with an old friend, I was surprised! They have pre-made food but a full menu as well. I had an excellent artichoke & cucumber salad, it was delicious! Our quick lunch turned into a wonderful long lunch, a glass of wine and they even made me a decaf iced coffee to go. The staff was really sweet and couldn't have been nicer. I walked into this Italian Deli while browsing around Beverly Hills with a friend and was very much impressed with its modern interior design, nice outdoor seating and pleasant service, which included free samples of their delicatessen, which were big enough to fill a small but hungry person. They have a great selection of cured meats, salami, cheeses and Italian pastas. I also took their olive oil (tasted great) and fresh, jarred porcini mushrooms home. Prices were reasonable. Specialty platters of beautiful spreads with salame, prosciotto, mozzarella, artichokes, sundries tomato's, eggplant and olives... custom whatever you want. Super sweet staff, who remember you by name. The manager and a majority of the staff are Italian, and are very knowledgeable. this place is really bad. I come in, there are stacks of already prepared sandwiches in a refrigerated case, a la 7-11 convenience store. These sandwiches don't look good, and are $10-11.
