Arrived 45 mins just before they were closing. This place is huge and clean. They have hand sanitizer at the front when you enter as well as at each dinning table. The staff is very nice and welcoming and they wore masks. Indoor and outdoor seating available. My husband and I ordered one super burrito asada and 2 soft tacos asada. Both very good however the meat was alittle strange it was almost like a shredded type of texture something I'm not used to every time I order asada but the flavors were all there. The restaurant is clean, staff was attentive and did check in on us a few times, which I appreciated. Now the food..I ordered a GRILLED chicken supreme burrito. First bite was good, tasted like your basic burrito - sour cream, guacamole, rice. After a few bites I was starting to think they may have mixed up my order and forgot to add the GRILLED chicken. It wasn't until halfway through the burrito I finally tasted the meat. Yes it was chicken, but it was most definitely not GRILLED. It pains me to update this review because my last visit was great. This review went from five stars to what should be two stars but I am feeling the urge to be nice. Long story short, I ordered a quesadilla that comes with sour cream. Normally sour cream comes on the side and never inside a quesadilla. Soon I will realize this was a big mistake to order a quesadilla. As I waited for my food, I was provided complimentary chips and salsa all Covid compliant. I hate Covid. Finally my quesadilla comes out and it looks like a burrito. It gets worse. This quesadilla is cut in half and all I see is this mess of cheese, meat and sour cream mess oozing out of the tortilla. Literally the meat was drowning inside the quesadilla. First of all difficult to eat with all this sour cream. I tried to eat this but could only stomach half. This right here was not a way to make a quesadilla. If I had one suggestion for fiesta taco, either fix this issue and make it look like a quesadilla and not a burrito with the sour cream on the side and not drowning the meat and cheese or remove it from the menu period! Got an al pastor burrito to share with my friend. Their al pastor was okay, not bad but also not the best. They do give you a lot of meat. Each order comes with a small bag of tortilla chips and some red/green sauce. We asked them to split the burrito in half, and they were nice enough to wrap it separately for us. So plus one for service! My other friend got a vegetarian quesadilla and it was HUGE. Was a very fat quesadilla, stuffed with fillings. Delicious Mexican food I've had while living in the tri-valley. Their burritos are huge, but their meat plates are even better.

Reaaaally wanted to like this place, but a bit disappointing. My family and I got to try a variety of items -- fiesta quesadilla, super shrimp quesadilla, shrimp tacos, some simple quesadillas for my little brother and lastly, quesabirria tacos. I was sooo excited to find a place that had starred their quesabirria tacos as one of the favorites, but... they forgot the consommé?!?!!! My parents who picked it up even asked the guy if it'll come with it and he yeah and even mentioned it would be in a little container.. so super disappointing that even reminded.. they didn't give it to us. The shrimp quesadilla was pretty good, but very very wet. Also they didn't cut it in half lol not an issue but kinda surprised? One thing I would also suggest is to fix the online ordering system. We decided to order in person because the online ordering system on their website was... all over the place. Couldn't even find quesabirria til I scrolled all the way to the bottom on breakfast items. When you click on an item, one of the options even just says "no" like no what?? LOL Long story short, this taqueria has major potential, but my experience just wasn't as great as it could've been. Make sure to double check your order before you leave! The 1 star review is based on one thing and one thing only , the actually food was really really gross. The steak in both my burrito and tacos were grayish looking, tough, chewy, and had no flavor. The food was awful to the point where I just stopped eating it and I haven't eaten all day. The food is so gross, I had to ask myself if I wanted to go through the trouble of getting something worse to eat. If you want Mexican, look somewhere else because the food is so gross you'll be highly disappointed. More than anything else, I feel like they stole from me. Late review, but .. when I stopped by Fiesta Taco back in early January 2023 - I actually haven't been back. Food was never a disappointment, owner was always friendly, service was good however the total price I was given basically doubled than what I had paid prior to my last visit. I basically ordered 4 burritos + 1 order of French fries + 1 small fountain drink and I used to pay around $50.00. When I ordered the same amount of food the employee said, "$90.00!!" I thought the guy made a mistake so we went over my order several times however the guy still asked for $90.00!!" At the time I felt like I was getting taken advantage of since I've always paid around $50.00 so basically I cancelled my order and I left. I found another local Mexican restaurant also owned by a different family, ordered the same amount of food and I paid around $50.00. It turns out when I read other Yelp reviews left by others back in January 2023 - others also made similar complaints about Fiesta Taco changing their prices. Technically, Fiesta Taco CAN charge whatever and it's up to US customers rather we want to pay a steep fee when we can get the same food elsewhere for half the cost. read more

My burrito was absolutely delicious I could've done without all of the guacamole and cheese. but all in all it was really really good it was definitely what I was looking for after a long day of class and wanting something super awesome to have as a treat! I had recently been working in Pleasanton and I was craving Taqueria tacos for lunch. I had asked a fellow Elite and she suggested this place. I had ordered a Carne Asada regular size burrito and a Jarrito pineapple soda. The place had a few patio seats, but I opted to take my order to go. The burrito was super dense and it was flavorful and the chips were nice and crispy. Both the green and red salsa were not too hot. I had only 1/2 for lunch and ate the rest for dinner. For dine-ins, you would order your food at the counter and it will be taken to your table. Your order comes with a serving of nachos and you can also order drinks on the side. There is a condiment bar where you can serve yourself pico de gallo, salsa verde, limes, radishes, etc. The crew is friendly and they can make substitutions in your order if you cannot have beans in your order, for example. The interior of the restaurant has a log cabin feel -- a bit dated -- but it adds to the character of the place. This place stays open until 10p. Come check them out! read more

15.00 for a carne asada "super" burrito that is mostly rice and beans with 3 little chunks of meat(reminded me of roast beef hash at a cheap diner), a little glob of guacamole and a little glob of sour cream. The bits of meat were buried about halfway down in the burrito amongst all the rice and beans, and then the glob of guacamole. It was further down and mixed in with the beans and rice, and then the last bit of it was just sour cream and rice at the bottom . Very poorly constructed, and not a good value at all. Placed an order for some carne asada nachos after my husband mentioned that he wanted some tacos. They have outdoor seating which is cool for people who like To eat their food right away. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Still, I wasn't sold just yet and couldn't gauge whether the food would actually be good. However, we had tried another place nearby and were shocked that it was pretty good especially in the area. So, we got our order and also ordered some Jamaica to go. I took the first sip and knew then and there that we may have lucked out again! They covered the nachos in sauce and beans and meat which I like because I hate ordering nachos and eating the top and being left with dry ass chips. It wasn't mind blowing good but still good. Hype about this place is real. I got recommendations from couple of my friends about this place whenever we spoke about the Mexican food. And I tried this place after a few months. I am yet to be confident about dining in, so picked up my food from Fiesta. So many options on their menu. I had to pick couple of them for that night. I ordered it over the phone. The prep time was 20 mins. Located in Mission plaza shopping center on Santa Rita Rd. No Parking in front, but plenty available on the other side and outdoor dining tables were occupied. Ambience is quite nice. A few tables inside as well. Order was ready by the time arrived. It was well packed, utensils and tortilla chips were added too. Small salsa bar was located near the counter. Super happy to see variety of options in the salsa bar. Word of caution - Lava Heat is damn hot! Grilled vegetable burrito, Vegetarian Quesadilla, Tacos. Not sure which one was better. Really enjoyed them. Interestingly there weren't much beans and rice in it, more veggies and I loved it more because of that. Must say the Lava Heat added some great flavors to the Quesadilla which made it even better. Absolutely no complains. The tortilla chips were great to, especially with the salsas. The pricing is decent comparing to some Fremont Mexican places. The quantity is just about right. Loved everything about this place. I am definitely returning here for more food soon. read more

I came to Fiesta Taco for the first time in a few years, and it's definitely got some updates! The menu is a little different, and they have it displayed on TVs now. Here's some highlights: BURRITO: My biggest regret was ordering to-go (we ended up eating at the restaurant anyways). I got the Grilled Veggie Burrito, and it got a little soggy inside the foil. It tasted great and it was the perfect size, but the texture was just a little off. From the salsa bar, the pickled carrots and pico de gallo were delicious. SERVICE: Speedy and friendly, the staff at Fiesta Taco is great. They never mess up my order and they always get the food out amazingly fast. LOCATION: Their indoor dining has the same feel as ever. Came in here for a pickup order during shelter in place. My wife and I are vegetarian and noted from other Yelp reviews that vegetarians were raving about the veggie fajita burrito, so we opted to try out Fiesta. The fajita veggie burrito was indeed great. I have not found another burrito in the area with this combination of veggies. I usually find that a veggie fajita means squash and broccoli and zucchini. Not at Fiesta, thankfully! Fiesta gave us a great amount of chips and an assortment of salsas for a to-go order. There wasn't a salsa that I didn't like, but I would highly recommend the orange one for on your meal and the green one for chip dipping. We tried all of their tacos: CARNE ASADA PASTOR CARNITAS GRILLED CHICKEN BBQ CHICKEN LENGUA CHILE VERDE CHORIZO SHRIMP My favorites were the chorizo and shrimp. My husband loved the chorizo, carnitas, and pastor. I've also had their carne asada super burrito which I really liked. Their sangria in the cup with the fruit and tajin is so good! We've settled on this taqueria after visiting a few in the Pleasanton area. Food is top quality and clean. Wife prefers the al pastor. It's nicely seasoned with some char without being greasy. I opt for the beef tongue or beef cheeks for a more authentic experience. If I'm eating while driving, I opt for the ranchero burrito as it has jalapeños and grilled onions to serve as my "salsa" while eating. Business is operating during lockdown.
