    Roasted Chicken Thighs

Good vibes and plenty of TV's. This place has hookah just a forewarning to anyone that minds that. They had a good playlist of r&b going and the service was great. I went with the roasted chicken thighs with mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. The chicken was tender, juicy, and tasted great. Solid mash and the Mac n cheese was amazing. Overall good experience and solid food.

Two chicken tacos and the catfish nuggets with french fries

Visited this spot on 404 day in Atlanta and had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday. Arrived and parked across the street from the restaurant. Parking that day was $25. I was not happy about that. Walked across the street to the restaurant and was immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to our seats my friend eventually changed her mind and we were seated on the patio. Thank goodness there was a fan on the patio because it was a little warm that day. I ordered an angry orchard, but there was ice water available during the whole time we were there. I tried the chicken thigh nuggets, the catfish nuggets and the chicken tacos. Everything I tried was really good and well seasoned. The fries weren't that amazing but they were french fries nonetheless. I also tried the sautéed spinach and the mashed potatoes and both were delicious. Ended up having to stop by the restroom before paying our bill which ended up being a little over $50 for the two of us (me and my homegirl). The bathroom was fairly clean, but the trashcan was overflowing and needed to be emptied. This is my third visit to a Fin & Feathers but this was my first time visiting the location in Midtown. Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

First time at fins and feathers and I had a great time. They have several items on the happy hour menu for $5 which includes margaritas, rum punch (2-3 other drinks), the chicken Caesar wrap, 4 wings and fries, 2 chicken strips and fries and some tacos. Our waitress Shay was very attentive and made so we were well taken care of. Both the food and the hookah came out faster than I expected. My favorite was the chicken ceaser wrap and I can't wait to go back and get another one.

My coworkers and I popped in to order something for lunch. The ambiance was relaxed. Customer Service was prompt, being that we were the only patrons in the restaurant around 12:30pm. We quickly looked over the menu to place to go orders. Chef Penny advised us that it would be a 20-minute wait on fried foods because the fryers were just being tuned on...Wait what?! I was confused, being that they open at 11a.m. ANYWHO!! Orders still placed. The wait was longer than expected, more like 45 minutes. I definitely wouldn't go again around lunchtime. The food just didn't seem fresh. The Mac n' cheese seemed like it was reheated and leftover from the day before . My colleague said their grilled fish didn't taste great and had an upset stomach afterward. Maybe I'll give them another try on a different occasion later in the day to see if my opinion of them changes or remains the same.

I went to Finn and Feathers for fried chicken and i was a little disappointed. The wings were small and they had feathers on them.

Decided to hit Fin & feathers in Midtown for a little happy hour situation with a couple of associates. To know me is to know that I have loved feathers ever since before they expanded to Midtown. Midtown is a pretty laid-back environment and at night time can become a pretty popular restaurant considering it's right in the midst of all the action in Midtown On this particular visit, I decided to try their fried pickles which I have never had with the side of ranch and I also got catfish nuggets and fries which I always get! I love their catfish nuggets. I tell everybody about them when they decide to go to fin & feathers . The picture you see is a Hennessy margarita which I typically get everywhere I go to start the festivities off. This particular visit I really wasn't find of the waiter that we had. I can't remember his name although I do know that he had a little bit too much of a laid-back attitude towards everything. He was not really on top of our order. He had forgotten to ring a couple of things in However, this has not been my experience in the past at fin and feathers, so I'm not gonna let this one incident stop me from continuing to go. If you ever mosey down to the Midtown area, go and check it out for yourself I love this place .

Fin and Feathers has a lively atmosphere that draws you in as soon as you walk through the door. The restaurant is spacious, and the fun, bumping music sets the tone for a good time. Unfortunately, the service was just okay. I was a bit disappointed to find out they only offer their brunch menu from 10 AM to 4 PM on a Saturday, I had hoped to try some of their lunch or dinner options. For my meal, I went with the steak and eggs, which came with potatoes. The steak was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. My friend ordered the lamb chops and eggs; she loved them, but it wasn't my vibe. The breakfast sides were a bit limited, but the biscuits they bring with your meal completely stole the show--so buttery, flaky, and sweet with just the right amount of honey. That said, the service slowed considerably after the food arrived, and our waters weren't refilled promptly. Overall, my experience was okay--great food but room for improvement in service and menu availability.

1st my waitress Shay was amazing. She needs a raise immediately. We were a little late to our reservation due to a previous engagement running over but she made us feel like we were on time and took very good care of us. Birthday shots were not cheap liquor which is good. The restaurant was clean, food was tasty and not over priced and the drinks were great. The only thing I hated was the parking. For 2 hours paying $30 was crazy and for that we won't return. If you live by and want to walk great but if not prepare to pay.

It was decent. I think this was more of a brunch spot for the younger crowd. The music was loud and the hostess and waitresses was thoughtful enough to place us wayyyy in the back. we came for a birthday celebration from church. The waitress bought her out a surprise shot for her birthday (I had never seen that before) The food was good. we mostly ordered chicken and waffles .... Drinks was decent. I was greeted with a friendly smile and they acted like they were glad to see us. Overall a good time

Laid back atmosphere on a Monday morning, I came with my family and they gave us the red carpet treatment. I ordered Fish and Grits and it was savory hot and so delicious. I'm not from the area but my mom's lives locally. I will be visiting this place again when I touch down and want to try a few more of the dishes.

Nice little brunch spot/Day party vibe! After leaving the beltline we decided to grab lunch, didn't realize it would be a DJ and a full blown day party. The food was ok, you should probably order more food if you are hungry, really flat plates and not very many grits-lol and half of a filet will run you $20. I ordered the plate before realizing cheese would be on it. The jerk chicken rolls were good and the service was great! I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for day party type of vibe

I'm writing this because contrary to what many say about the service in ATL, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. This is my second visit to this location but first happy hour. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress had a trainee and they were both polite, smiled and asked detailed questions about how we preferred our drinks and food. The happy hour menu is soo soo good. I ordered wings and fries, fish tacos and chicken tacos and 3 margaritas. Each item was $5. The portion and flavors were great. Our waitress checked on our table very frequently which allowed us to keep ordering. My only critique is the parking situation. I think customers should have a free lot. I understand the location is tricky but maybe work out a validation system. I paid $10 to park for 2hrs.

(Yes; saltiness is my pet peeve as many restaurants masks their flavorless food with loads of salt) The oysters in their raw bar are "fatty" with a hint of ocean saltiness. Their peel and eat shrimp is fresh and crunchy... oh so good!! And finally - I love their Fisherman's Stew.., again, the dish is perfectly seasoned with super fresh seafood. SO GOOD!!!! A must try spot for your visit to ATL.

Our daughter spent the first few minutes waving at the staff, and they genuinely lit up every time -- such a warm, welcoming vibe right from the jump. Starters We kicked things off with the she‑crab soup, and that's when we knew the meal was going to be special. Tons of rich crab flavor and chunks of crab. The crispy shrimp toast was another hit -- crunchy, savory, and a great pairing with the soup. We also ordered the Baker's Dozen oysters, chef's selection. All 13 were fresh, clean, and briny in the best way. Next up: the Spanish octopus, and honestly... top five octopus dish we've had. Cooked perfectly -- tender, melt‑in‑your‑mouth texture. The salsa macha added just the right amount of heat, and the marcona almonds brought a great crunch with the cilantro, lime, and mint brightening everything up. What a beautifully composed dish. We finished with the Halibut and Lady peas. The Halibut was topped with lobster and served with a lobster butter sauce, chives, and capers. Rich, buttery, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The lady peas (fava beans, asparagus, and a generous mound of blue crab) were another standout. So much flavor, but everything complemented each other instead of competing. One of those sides you keep looking for more of when it's gone. --- Overall Every dish was thoughtful, balanced, and executed at a high level. Service was warm and genuinely kind -- especially with our little one. 10/10 would recommend

Over the years we've seen things decrease especially at the optimist. The hosts were great and they always give us great service but the food had been the lacking the last couple of services where the she crab soup lacked crab, the swordfish over cooked multiple times. This time in particular we ordered the whole lobster and was offered to have it taken out of the shell for us. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. When we got the lobster we got a full tail but one claw and no knuckles. When we addressed with the server, she argued with us that that's how a lobster is and that there could be more meat hidden on the plate. It felt like she thought we were there to just get more food by saying "so what do you want, more meat" but if we had it in the shell we would have received our full portion. The manager on duty tried to make it up to us by comping the lobster but it was more than that. After going back and forth with the server we just wanted the check to leave. The manager on duty insisted to give us the lobster and take it home. The server wasn't very polite and argued with us about the lobster. I wish I remembered the servers name With that said, the amount of money we have spent there over the years, it's unfortunate that that will be our last time going to the Optimist.
