Great , friendly bartenders. The New England clam chowder is the best I've ever had and that says a lot considering it's my favorite! Prices are fair and the ambiance is that of an old school Irish pub.

Great, no frills Irish pub. We came here on a weekday evening and was able to get seated right away. There are a mix of tables and bar seats. $9 pints with several great Irish selections. Lots of great food options. The day we went, they had specials including beef stew and chicken curry. The service was prompt and great. I recommend!

Finnegan is decent for a pub. The staff moves so effortlessly. They don't hover over you. They're fast and efficient. The food is ok. It was a random drop in so I honestly wasn't expecting much. The French onion soup was decent in taste. The burger was ok I did like the blue cheese as a spread on the burger but for $19 it was as small as the sliders my friend order. The French Fries were flavorless and extremely oily to consume, so I didn't touch my fries. I wouldn't go out my way to come here but if I am in the area I might revisit it again. If you're looking for a pub that's homey this is definitely the spot for you.

Finnegan's Wake seems like a place loved by locals. It's a solid choice for some food with a decent menu. What drew me in was the French onion soup which was pretty good! For dinner I ordered the beef sliders which were also good but the buns were a bit dry. Food was mid. The service was great and not overbearing. The ambiance was warm and christmasy. It didn't have that traditional alcoholy pub smell which made me feel comfortable dining there. All in all, I would recommend it if you're in the area looking for something easy but not something I would go out of my way for.

Picked up quick dinner before concert at Czech Center. Fast and efficiency service. Got Shepard's pie and chicken quesadillas. What were we thinking getting quesadillas at an Irish pub! Stick with pub fare.

Visiting Finnegan's Wake is like a visit to see old friends!

Warm, friendly staff and fine pub fare. My aunt and I are regular clients and look forward to each visit. The pub's owner and manager, Fiona, is exceptionally gracious and competent. It is a well run establishment.

Not dog friendly! The bartender was extremely rude about it too (older bald man). There's a way to speak to people and that wasn't it!

Solid food and cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I love the roast beef sandwich with horseradish, and the pot pies are great.

Great old fashioned Irish pub. Good service, good pub food, reasonable prices. Draws an older crowd, but everyone is friendly.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We started with the steak tartare with Melba toast and caviar. For entrees we had the creamy cavatelli with maitake and squash. We finished off with a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding served with bourbon vanilla ice cream and crunchy toffee pieces. We loved the grandeur of the space and the cozy fireplace. It makes for an ideal business dinner setting

Server was a sweetheart, really relaxed and didn't seem stressed or overworked, she was able to talk and not sprint around the restaurant. Food was delicious, didn't LOVE the broccoli-avocado appetizer, it felt bland but it was still a nice refreshing starter. Ordered the truffle gnocchi, AMAZING! So cheesy but not overwhelming. My mom ordered the beet salad. Not usually a fan of beets but I really loved the sauce (balsamic) and it was actually very good. I ordered all 3 mocktails and didn't have a complaint about any. Not overly sweet but not "dirty". Bathrooms are down a few hallways, not too hard to find tho. Overall, loved it. Definitely felt more like a bar than a restaurant.

We timed their summer's Alice in Wonderland theme and was not disappointed. Our group of 15 was situated in the room just when walked in from the front entrance . Not has the privacy we wanted, not has sitting comfort we expected , not the best food we waited but delighted to be with the most decorative backdrop. We had a delay on our food service, had a mixed up to few orders, there was one extra charge for drinks not accounted by our group hostess until after the stay and was not assisted to our expectation level. Nevertheless, the experience was lovely .

Unfortunately, our server only heard that 5 of us wanted afternoon tea, and one of the tiers of food was smaller than the others. We also had to pay extra for additional tea, which we were fine with, but service was severely lacking throughout. Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas. I can't in good faith recommend this place, nor do I see myself coming back after the atrocious service we experienced.
