I came here a few times already with my wife and this place is really good! Menu is pretty diverse and seems pretty busy the last few times we were here. Great place to come have a couple of drinks as well and watch some local sport games. There are also a few games in the back you can play. We started off with the carnitas nachos and it was pretty good. Very filling and a good amount for the both of us. No complaints there. For our main course, my wife ordered a couscous salad of some sort. She really enjoyed it. I chose the Wagyu Burger and this was expected from this restaurant. Juicy, artisan craft buns and definitely was not the first time we ordered it since we have came here a few times already. We even door dashed it one time haha. Other than that, great place to come and hang out especially on big sport days. Good vibes, great service as well. Lots of TV's which is perfect.

‍ Crowded restaurant with TVs everywhere throughout the room. We had Emma as our server and she was very nice and friendly. Her service was excellent. We had BBQ pizza, Hot Wings, and Coffee. The food was good and appropriate in temperature and taste. Good atmosphere and festive.

Alfonzo did a great job of helping us yesterday with our drinks, appetizers, food, dessert, and even a heater for the cool breeze out on the spacious patio. Our food was delicious and filling. We can't wait to return to try more items on the menu and more drinks from their Crafthouse list. Great meal. Thanks Finney's.

Solid food and menu mainly consisting of tacos, burgers, pizzas, and various appetizers. Located near Orange circle, so parking was a bit difficult on a Saturday night! Curb parking and there's some lots behind the restaurant and scattered throughout Orange circle. Prices weren't too bad and drinks were good/strong! A5 Wagyu Burger ($17): pretty good, I got a side of truffle fries. I really like their ketchup, it has some extra seasoning to it that gave it a kick. Requested a side of ranch! They have a regular and large size for fries, opted for the large to share with my boyfriend Crispy Mahi Mahi Tacos ($15): my boyfriend enjoyed his meal, wish it came with 3 tacos instead of two though. Comes with a side of salsa and chips Bacon Deviled Eggs ($11): first time trying deviled eggs with some siracha and I can say it was pretty good! Chicken and Waffle Bites ($13): my boyfriend's highlight and favorite! The chicken bites were pretty big, super crispy, and NOT dry! Order came out to about $122, but we did order 2 old fashions with double shots! FYI they have electronic games to play at the table for $3. We made the mistake of tapping it and it was automatically billed to our table

For some reason always avoided going here. I finally went on a whim and was pleasantly shocked. The pizza and drinks were so affordable and had so much flavor. Servers were nice and welcoming. I've been craving it again ever since!

The drinks here are horrible!!! I had the raspberry smash and the strawberry Cadillac margarita. Just strong and no flavor whatsoever. The brussel sprouts tasted burnt with sauce on them. The lettuce for my chicken lettuce wraps were brown. I do not recommend wasting your time or money here.

I want to add that this place is such a vibe, especially for sporting events. Tommy and Atien are probably the best servers I have ever gotten at a restaurant. Their welcoming attitudes and helpful approach make any celebration even better.

This place was good. Tommy was so nice and friendly! They have a lot on the menu that I wanted to try but had to stick to the diet plan. The deviled eggs were good, the wings were not as crispy as I like but the sauce was great. My kid got the pizza, the pepperoni was kinda overcooked, but he still liked it. The environment was fun and the service was great, I'll definitely go back when I can really eat.

Wednesday the 20th had it delivered unbelievable, the Finney burger pokey roast beef sandwich and Philly cheese steak eggrolls onion rings over the top as always the Finney burger is so tasty with their special sauce and the pickled onions. The bomb pickled onions blow away pickles so good. #MustGo AndEat.

Went today for lunch. Food was super good!!!! Service was really slow except for the busser. Didn't get his name but he was definitely on it. Asked for water from the server and she never brought it, but he did when we asked him. Gave him a cash tip right then cause he was pleasant and awesome. Will definitely return, just hope for a different server.

Finneys is in the middle of Orange & was popular for dinner on a Thursday. We arrived around 6:30pm and saw a quite a few empty tables but a couple large parties waiting to be seated. Waited 20 minutes for a table of 2 but was served promptly after. The Finney burger was a decent burger. I really appreciated the toasted bun for some texture. Truffle fries had just a hint of truffle but seemed more like parmesan fries if I had to label it.

    Amazing nachos

Flipping amazing. While I was researching places to do and eat in SLO, this place kept popping up and for good reason. The happy hour is most generous and affordable. We both got two beers on tap, a pepperoni pizza and their loaded nachos. The food and drinks came out pretty fast and we were amazed by the nachos. They were loaded with both flavor and meaty, cheesy goodness. Would def come back again and get the nachos for sure. The crust on the pizza is super thin, and there was a bountiful amount of pepperoni. Paired amazingly with the beer. This place is perfect for large groups or smaller groups if you come early enough to beat the crowds.

Great vibe, great food, and solid drinks. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were good. Service was friendly and quick without feeling rushed. Perfect spot to hang out with friends or grab a casual dinner. Definitely coming back!

When making reservations a $25 deposit is required per person but will be applied to your bill day of visit. The hostess was very kind upon check in and took us to the back where the 46 door is. She provided us a code and explained the time limit along with house rules. We were then told to knock on the door and proceed with the experience. Kudos to the owner as this is the only speakeasy in the OC that has a true speakeasy feel entrance. They had a gentleman open the peephole and ask for the entry code. Once we said the code we entered a really cool mine shaft area. The attention to detail was on point and I was impressed! We were then taken upstairs to a private bar where there are four tables of four so a max of 16. This makes sense as to why reservations are hard to come by. The only ding about seating is you are sat with strangers it is not a private table. Luckily we had a fun older couple at our table so it made the conversation more lively. Otherwise don't go here with an expectation of an intimate/ private date night. They also offer a limited food menu but looked very promising. However, we were here for a night cap so just dabbled in drinks. The bartender had a seasonal menu of 4 cocktails he created. He explained the drinks and then had us try each one with a straw. We then placed our order based on what we liked. He did say if we were not a fan he could create us our own personal cocktail as well. The old fashion he created was phenomenal! Overall, a cool little spot in the OC. Do wish they were open later as they do close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!
