This weekend we held a private dining dinner for our wedding reception. I definitely recommend using Fioretta if you want to plan any sort of event. Their team was fast, efficient, and very kind. The whole process wasn't smoothly but our guests were disappointed there was no valet before opening hours. The meatballs, steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, the desserts and all their petite appetizers were amazing. Thank you to the team for such a great experience on our biggest day!

To say I was blown away by this dining experience is an understatement. I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends and it is incredible. From the moment we walked in, you are greeted by a welcoming and hospitable team. The restaurant is quite large, and we were seated in one of the smaller rooms off from the side of the bar. It was perfect for us so we could chat and catch up with one another. We started the evening with cocktails and a few appetizers. The restaurant offers amazing complimentary bread service that is table side. We also ordered the meat balls that came with three total and the chopped salad. The salad was definitely my favorite starter from our menu. For main dishes, we ordered the chicken parmesean, a steak and the vodka pasta. I was completely full by the end of the evening, but of course, we still finished the meal with the chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking to celebrate an important milestone, have a romantic evening with a significant other, or grab dinner with a group of friends. Thank you again for this amazing experience!

Came here for another restaurant week! Loved the vibes of Fioretta. There was a jazz ensemble also playing in background. The restaurant week special had some add ons included. We started off with the wood roasted oysters and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was a little salty, but the oysters were pretty yummy and warm. For the second course, we substituted one of the courses for the 16 oz New York strip and the other is the chicken Parmesan. I was a little disappointed with the chicken parm (my fault because I thought it included pasta). We paid $40 more for the New York strip and it was perfectly charred on the outside with a nice medium rare touch inside. Also, the tiramisu was so BOMB!! I loved everything about it and I had a second stomach as soon as the dessert came. I think this place is okay to try out at least once. This restaurant is definitely for special occasions or a once a year type of meal. It's even better if you have the Chase Sapphire reserved so you can get that doing credit.

Fantastic service, great food, nice ambiance, and a tad expensive. We came to celebrate a new job and it ended up being restaurant week, so we tried the menu and ordered some additional dishes: - Meatballs - Wood Roasted Oysters - Bignè - Chicken Parmesan - 7oz Hand Cut Filet Mignon - Macaroni Alla Vodka - Charred Broccoli - Pear of Aces (drink) - Tiramisu - Strawberry Gelato No complaints, honestly my favorite was the oysters surprisingly. The pasta and steak were cooked beautifully and everything was seasoned well.

The vibe was a cross between a chic, upscale speakeasy and vintage Chicago steakhouse. Loved the intimate lighting, comfortable seating options and city feel. This is definitely a restaurant frequented by the in crowd, and I see the attraction! The cocktails were creative and tasty and the mixologist will tailor the cocktail according to your preferences, if you ask. The menu is approachable and ample for all except vegans, as there were not many non-dairy/meat-free options; however, they do offer delicious vegetables as side dishes. I loved that the menu wasn't overloaded with everything under the sun, it offered just the right amount of beef, poultry, seafood and pasta options. Our group had a set menu and everyone enjoyed all of the entrées. The feeling when you walk in is, " I want to be here and be seen here". There is private event space available which accommodates around 30 or so guests comfortably. There is street parking and valet parking available. I will be back soon!

Fioretta had been on my list for some time, and it exceeded expectations. The ambiance is modern and refined--an elevated take on the traditional steakhouse, ideal for both date nights and social gatherings. Service was outstanding; every staff member I encountered was professional, friendly, and attentive. The highlight of the evening was the tableside Caesar salad, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The chicken Parmesan was rich and flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tuna tartare, which offered a mild, balanced heat despite being labeled spicy. I look forward to returning, especially to explore their Happy Hour offerings.

Came here for Chicago Restaurant Week with friends and had a terrible experience. We were told we couldn't take pictures with flash, our waiter Patrick was rude, and the service was bad from start to finish. The food was disappointing, and they wouldn't allow anyone at our table to order from the main menu because some of us were doing the Restaurant Week menu. Every other Restaurant Week restaurant I've been to allows this, so it felt unnecessary. I also spoke to the manager, who was robotic and more focused on explaining company policy than actually caring about the customer experience. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Between the service and how we were treated, it honestly left me feeling singled out. Save your coins. Definitely not worth it.

Our experience at Fioretta was absolutely immaculate from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The ambiance was upscale, elegant, and warm without feeling pretentious. Our waiter, Fabio, was phenomenal -- so polished and professional that I initially thought he was the manager. He was dressed impeccably in a maroon and black suit, explained the menu thoroughly, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. The food and drinks were outstanding, beautifully presented, and worth every penny. The tableside Caesar salad preparation added such a special touch, and every detail of the dining experience felt elevated and intentional. What truly made the night unforgettable was how they acknowledged our anniversary. I casually mentioned it when we arrived, and by the end of the evening they surprised us with dessert and a sparkling candle presentation that made the celebration feel extra special. This was our first upscale dining experience together, and Fioretta made it memorable in the best possible way. Exceptional service, stunning atmosphere, amazing food -- this is hospitality done right. We will absolutely be back!

The shrimp scampi was absolutely incredible and the meatballs were also delicious unfortunately my company felt very judged and non welcome in this environment! Even still water was $10 ! Gorgeous space and a great playlist ! They felt as though they were getting dirty looks from the staff sadly, so they asked that we go elsewhere. I will have to come back and assess! The complimentary bread was good as well! Dark and moody environment with attentive service

I am happy that I was able to try Fioretta. We were greeted and seated as soon as we got to the place for our reservation. The interior is very simple, the background music is just loud enough to still be able to have conversations, and the vibe is lively. Our server made recommendations and the service throughout the evening was attentive and efficient. On this first visit, I've tried: PROSCIUTTO & BURRATTA- outstanding CACIO E PEPE- made perfectly PETITE FILET MIGNON- excellent SLOW ROASTED PORK SHANK- the meat was so tender and delectable DECADENT CHOCOLATE CAKE - I am not a cake person but this one made me very happy. The bread service was good enough to make me come here and the cocktails were also made well. Overall, the bathrooms are clean, the staff are prompt and nice, and the dishes are simply delicious. I will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu, there are so many that I want to try! Lobster diavolo, King crab linguine, branzino, bisteca alla fiorentina....'Til next time!

We dined at Fioretta during Thanksgiving and they offered a 4 course meal. Upon entering I noticed everybody was dressed up and it's a very nice spot where you go out for a special occasion. I started off with the meatballs where you get two large meatballs in a delicious marinara sauce. Then move on to a salad and got the kc strip as my main course. Then for dessert I got a delicious lemon meringue cake. They made our thanksgiving feel special when we were away from our family. Service was great, vibe felt elevated and old school, and a spot I would gladly go back to again in the future.

Fioretta is without question one of the best steakhouses in Chicago. Came here for the first time last week for my birthday. I had a reservation and was seated immediately by the bar area. It's not clear if the dining room is for bigger groups, but the small table by the bar was just fine. My waitress was excellent; super attentive and had great recommendations for everything I consumed. I'll cut to the chase - I had the NY strip with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and it was all fantastic. I judge a steakhouse by how good the leftovers are, and that stuff was STILL tasty the next day. Because it was my birthday I was given a lovely tiramisu on the house. I can't recommend this place enough; bring your checkbook tho because it's not cheap. But I can honestly say I'll be back as soon as my bank account allows.

Overall the dark ambience and the service gives you the fine dining feel without having to shell the money or the effort to be at a fine dining restaurant. The food pricing is on the higher end but in terms of value for money perhaps lives a bit more on the hype and its location over everything else. I think the steak was decent and delicious but wouldn't amaze you enough to feel like you'd have to come here a second time or have this be your go to steakhouse in Chicago. I think the actual star of the show were the mushrooms, that dish was a fan favorite among our table. I also think the bacon they use in their salad was also phenomenal and delicious. Overall a nice, premium experience, but moreso as a one time treat rather than a consistent go to place.

Especially not a good dinner option despite being excited for it for our Valentine's Day dinner. Food- really liked Caesar salad and Mac n cheese. However, this is a steak house. We ordered ribeye in medium and NY strip in medium rare. However, ribeye was medium rare and ny strip was cooked medium well. I considered telling our waiter but he never appeared at our table to ask about how our food was. He showed up half an hour later to ask if we wanted dessert. I didn't eat my ny strip because it was so dry and my husband had a few bites. Service- as mentioned above, the server barely showed up. Also our food arrived later than everyone next to us. The couple next to us got sat down after we put in our entree order and get they received their entree before we did. No apologies or context given on the delay. Also, I know they offer half orders for certain dishes like salad for takeouts and deliveries and saw older TikTok videos that mentioned getting half portions too. We asked if they do half portions so we can try more items in the menu, we simply got a "NO" without any kindness or explanation given. It was said as if we were asking them something stupid. Ambiance- I think the bar area is nice looking, but we were sat in the basement. It was crammed, the tables were small, and because it was a small room, you can really hear other tables conversations. For casual restaurants I don't mind that type of ambiance but if we are dropping more than $300 for 2 of us, I am going to compare it to comparable places in that price range: Bavettes, Gibsons, maple and ash, swift and sons, Alston, etc. this is significantly lacking compared to all of those "nice steakhouses". Theres not even a coat check. Also our leftover was packed in a cheap black plastic bag. Once again, not matching with the price point. We are locals and were very excited to try this place not far from us, but sadly, it was a truly disappointing experience and if anyone asked me if I'd recommend this place, I would say look elsewhere.

For starters, we ordered the kimchi pork dumplings and grilled octopus, which both tasted great, but the kimchi flavoring did overpower everything. However, my experience at Perilla Steakhouse was hands down frustrating. Upon arrival, things were off to a rough start when I could barely hear the server over the music. At times, I felt like our server was rushing us through our meal based on how much less attention he gave us versus the other tables. I'm not someone who needs my glass refilled every minute either to be clear, but things did feel off with how slow our meal was paced out and the general disinterest the server had in us. For reference, we arrived early to a nearly empty restaurant that hadn't started peak dining time yet. I recognize the steakhouse is an upscale, chic take on traditional Korean dishes and I admire the chef for sharing his culture with the city. I also understand restaurants are going to be more expensive, the closer you are located in relation to downtown. Even so, in comparison to other nearby high-end restaurants, the price to portion ratio for our meal felt off. For example, our $16 dumplings included 3 dumplings on a plate. Yes, there's an argument for inflation and the cost of quality ingredients, but I argue that at this price point we shouldn't have left hungry either.

Came here last night for dinner with another couple for the first time. While the food was good,…read morethe service was not so I don't think I'll be back. For starters, we had a reservation which I would recommend. We were seated right away and while the place is large inside, I'm not sure what walk-in availability is like. The food: we really enjoyed the octopus, escargot, I had the Filet Mignon Au Poivre, and the banana/coconut entremet. The octopus was tender and flavorful; octopus cooked right (especially in smaller pieces) is hard to find so I was impressed. The escargot was nice and buttery/garlicky, and piping hot. I LOVED my Filet with the green peppercorn cream sauce! It was delicious and my husband was surprised I ate so much of it. It was cooked exactly as I asked, the meat had good flavor, and the sauce was delicious and well balanced + the right consistency. Lastly, the banana and coconut dessert was a pleasant surprise. The banana flavor was fresh (not artificial) and had the right balance of coconut. It was creamy, not too sweet, and had the right balance of textures with the outer coating and the crumble underneath - if you like banana or coconut at all I'd say it's a must order! The creme brulee was just okay. My issue was the service - the table next to ours LIT ON FIRE because a menu was over the top of a candle. After burning half the menu and the fire was getting larger, our partners ran over and put it out with their napkins. They yelled and there was NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from the staff at all - at least 2 staff saw and one waiters eyes got big for a minute and she turned away. Not even a thank you from anyone to our partners for putting it out, and they had to ask for new napkins because theirs had black char on them. We were in the middle of enjoying our appetizers and my friend was just digging into her French onion soup from our first round and the staff kept trying to take our plates away. My friend had to tell them 3 times to please leave the soup at the table, and overall made us feel very rushed. We weren't taking a long time to eat at all so felt very weird? When the entrees were dropped on the table, my friend got a steak and they kept trying to give her a butter knife. It took multiple attempts to get the correct knife. Then once we were done eating it took a while to get our plates and old glasses cleared away. Overall service timing was off and their aggressiveness in the beginning of trying to take our plates away + the lack of response to A FIRE in the restaurant was pretty alarming. While I enjoyed the food there, the service was pretty bad and I feel unsafe with the lack of response to a fire in the restaurant so I don't think we'll return.
