I cannot recommend Fioretta enough especially if you have a special occasion to celebrate! Not only is it simply a beautiful, intimate space perfect for a date night, but the service & food really makes it an amazing place to dine. They were accommodating when I was running 20 minutes behind, which I really appreciated. Once being sat, our server was really kind and knowledgeable. We asked her alllll the questions, and she answered them expertly. My sister in-law actually ordered a drink she didn't like, and our server was kind enough to replace it free of charge. They also come around with bread before entrees! The King Crab Linguine was to DIE for. I loved it. I also got the Lemoncello Spritz which was also delicious and a great pairing. Everyone loved their food. The big thing is the birthday celebration! They allow you to bring your own cake, but if you don't have one, they do give a complimentary tiramisu. It was beautiful, and I felt truly special. Also, they're very open to people taking pictures in the restaurant. Came by Fioretta for a celebration dinner. It was easy to get a reservation a few days before for a week night dinner. The restaurant was very full and loud when we came. Service: service was pretty lacking for the price point. The hostess was MIA when our party arrived, until someone waiting behind us walked in and tracked her down himself. Our waitress was very slow and it took us 2.5h+ to get through a 3 course dinner, most of which was us sitting around waiting. And that's with us packing up dessert to go because we were running behind. Bread service: a nice touch and they give you a lot of Parmesan and oil. We had a no-cheese person, and our request for an extra saucer of dip without cheese was ignored. Guy never name back despite agreeing. Tuna tartar: very well seasoned although you could tell the tuna was a bit low quality. It was noticeably sinewy and unevenly chopped. Steak: we ordered two steak. The Delmonico (boneless) ribeye we ordered medium rare and it came well done. By this point we waited so long for the entrees we were ravenous and just ate it. The NY Strip decently flavorful but didn't stand out. Lobster Diavolo: despite being advertised as spicy the sauce was very mild and somewhat bland. They empty out an entire lobster so there's generous topping in it. Tiramisu: solid dessert and not too sweet. On the firm and dry side. Special occasions: they stick a free club sprinkler in a dessert which makes for an extravagant celebration and great photo op. The interior of the restaurant is extremely loud. They had a live performer playing piano and we couldn't hear each other talk. It's great if you're looking for this type of ambiance. Most of the people were appeared to be celebrating something or a bit dressed up. Service is a miss and the food is very meh for the price. I think you come here for the club-staurant ambiance. The food gets a 5 star. Our server was a 3 if that. I'm normally a good tipper but since her service standards were lowered for me and my family so was my tip. We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. More on staff in a bit. The olives delicious and olive oil took me back to Portugal when we visited an olive grove and they pressed their own olive oil. Outstanding. The tuna tartar was delicious but the octopus carpaccio... amazing burst of flavors in the mouth. We ordered the tomahawk. The flavor was superb however, the table next to us ordered a tomahawk as well. When theirs was brought to the table they got a show it was set on fire and then cut table side. I guess our waitress was too busy because ours arrived cut on a plate. The rigatoni had a nice thick flavorful consistency - highly recommend. Asparagus was ordinary I've had much better. Overall I would definitely go there again for the food! As far as the waitress, this was a Thursday night and it wasn't as busy but she failed to pay attention. We ran out of our drinks and water. When she finally came around and we were able to request another round it took her a while to get us our drinks by that time we were almost done with our food. Finally she asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu or just get what she brought, since we were celebrating a birthday, we asked for the menu but she brought the birthday desert anyway and later brought the desert menu. Finally, it came time to pay she informed us we could pay her or pay using the app. We paid with the app and sat for about 10 more minutes and finally got up to leave. We encountered our waitress "shark" near the door and instead of asking how was everything she looked at us and said "did you pay?" I came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded so I recommend making reservations in advance. Fioretta has an intimate romantic setting with live music and is perfect for date night or a girls night out. Food was amazing. Their meatballs were soft and juicy and just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend the meatballs. They have complimentary bread service which was also very good. I also enjoyed their octopus carpaccio. My husband and brother In law shared the 44 oz bisteca and it was more than enough for two people. I had the 7 oz filet mignon medium and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. This is a hot spot in Fulton Market with big space that has been well designed. The had a special of Foie Gras that melted in our mouths. The dozen oysters were terrific and the Caesar Salad was made table side. We shared the perfectly prepared Branzino and then dug into the pastas. We ordered 2 of the Cacio e Pepe because it's my favorite and I would have eaten a whole plate since they were medium size plates. My only complaint was the sauce was a little heavy. The Rigatoni Carbonara and Macaroni Alla Vodka were delicious. We finished with Gelato and Sherbet. It was my birthday and they brought a Tiramisu with a sparks shooting candle. My girlfriends and I had a Girls Night Dinner on 2/12/26 and decided to come here for dinner. All of us parked our cars with valet for $18. Valet offered to park our car in front of the restaurant for an extra fee, we declined - more on that later. We walk in and are immediately greeted. It was hopping in there. Inside is beautiful, very posh. There is a bar area with table seating which they were going to seat us but we asked to sit in the dining area. Staff was attentive and friendly. They gave us complimentary bread and olives both which were tasty. Loved the beautiful china they used. We started off with the impressive tableside caesar salad. That was a joy to watch (see video). The salad was very tasty. We order our main entrees of Meatballs, Chicken Parmesan, King Crab Linguini. My friend enjoyed her Meatballs. Even though the Chicken Parm looked divine, my friend had to send it back because it was overcooked on the bottom side of the chicken. They made another one for her and it was fine. My King Crab Linguini I didn't like as they had to have added fresh lemon all over it which destroyed the flavor of the entree for me. I didn't want to send it back since my friend sent hers back but after eating, I let the waitress know I couldn't eat the dish. What was impressive was the manager came over to talk to us about our dinners. She apologized to my friend for the Chicken mishap and also to me for my dinner. She kept offering me to let the kitchen prepare something else. I respectfully declined as I had another event that evening that I needed to get to. Even though I didn't enjoy my meal, I give a big thumbs up for how they handled the situation to try their best to make it right. It's total vibe in there. They celebrate bdays, etc. with a lighting show (see video) which was fabulous. It was time to go so I went to valet to get my car. I have a luxury vehicle. The attendant working there was nice enough to park my car on the opposite side of the entrance and not the lot. He told me he did that because the lot has had vandalism of people breaking into cars. I was shocked over this information - why not inform patrons of this beforhand? I would of given 5 stars for this review but upon hearing that, I had to take away a star because more security needs to be implemented in that lot if that is happening. You shouldn't be going to a fine dining, high priced establishment to come back to a car that's been broken into. And in that area, there is nowhere else to park so you're just stuck. We were seated at a high top and were told the dining room was unavailable. We watched a couple before us get seated in a booth by the music that didn't have a reservation. Classy, sultry, and gorgeous. The ambient and strategically placed lighting sets the tone immediately as soon as you enter those heavy doors, but the space manages not to be TOO dark. Our vibe was very much in "girl dinner" territory, as we had drinks, a few shared apps, and a couple of salads for the table. So returning for the steak and other entrees is a must. I'm kicking myself for not writing down the server's name (I hate to guess, and if it's not Alexis I'm sorry!), but they had short blonde hair and they were AWESOME. Great energy and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Side note: Presentation was so fun. Bread service isn't just a basket delivered to the table, but rather a person who wheels out the bread and accoutrements and plates it for each guest individually. I also have a special place in my heart for any establishment that does a proper martini glass refresh. My favorite dishes so far are the tuna tartare, calamari, and the chopped salad. We came here for dinner Memorial Day weekend. The ambiance is beautiful. Definitely somewhere you come on a date night or special occasion. Everyone seemed appropriately attired for the place as well. The drinks were good and the table side Caesar salad was excellent. They have both steak and Italian pasta dishes. We had a mix on both. One of the two steaks was good. The other had a very odd consistency and flavor. The crab pasta was a bit more citrus flavored than I liked, but was still a nice dish. Huge portions. Lots of crab meat. The service was just ok. At times we couldn't find our waiter, but service wasn't bad. It wasn't as attentive as I would expect for such an establishment. My group and I were able to snag a reservation last minute on a Tuesday night which was fantastic! The ambiance was very intimate and sultry, perfect for groups or a date night. When entering, you come across a lounge bar where there is live music. The larger dining room is fairly big with gorgeous luxe booth seating and along the walls are your standard dining tables. Our group of 10 had a large table set up for us in the corner. Our server was also fantastic and very knowledgable about the menu. Can I also say everyone working here is also dressed wonderfully?! The table-side caesar salad was delicious and the bread that came with our meal was served out of a grand box which was a delightful elevated experience. I get this restaurant confused with another one in the area a lot. But I have heard good things! We went around 5pm and it wasn't packed yet. It gets busy around 6pm. Andreas was amazing and super nice, as were the other staff. Bread service was good. They even remove the pits from the olives already. Steak had an amazing crust. My king crab pasta was delicious. Hamachi crudo and cheesecake were great too. I enjoyed my truffle bigne. The limoncello was so good, he went out to buy a bottle of it afterwards (and it was nowhere close). What an absolutely decadent and memorable visit we had for a family celebration at Fioretta! To start, the cocktails, wine list and fresh foccaccia bread set the stage for the entrees to come. We also ordered a couple of tableside Cesar salads, one with anchovies. It was a treat watching the salad being mixed with the freshest ingredients, and a lot of lemon zest and parmesan cheese. For dinner, I had the Cacia e Pepe over the thick spaghetti and while it was suggested to get a side with the smaller pasta dishes, I was pretty full after the bread and salad. My husband's 7 ounce filet was a perfect medium rare and tasted exceptional with a side of sautéed mushrooms. He ordered a Pinot Noir with his filet and also the marscapone mashed potatoes. My daughter ordered the lobster Diavlo with squid ink pasta and it was the equivalent of a family-sized platter. Be forewarned, it is a lot of food and an expensive meal, but nice for a special celebration. Also, the restaurant adds gratuity for 5+ guests at tables. Arrived 8 minutes after the grace period on a Wednesday(our dog ran away), place was packed. Reservations were made for the dining room. Once our table was ready(45 minutes later) they placed us near the bar.... You also can't order the table side Cesar salad from the area. Host should have let us known this as well but didn't. I asked to have us moved since I saw the dining room had plenty empty tables by then. I wish the host would have let us know or if the waitress would have gave us that option since she knew I was visibly upset about this. I came to Fioretta to celebrate my birthday--imagine my surprise how packed the place was on a Tuesday night! They have live music at the bar most weeknights, and I was a bit sad I didn't get to hear the singer's performance. The seating for 4 was a little cramped, but the atmosphere was lovely, making the restaurant look like it was permanently in sunset. The waitstaff was highly attentive and amazing, especially our waiter, Rory! We ordered the caeser salad for the table. The waiter, Rory, helpfully told us that if we ordered 2, we get the salad made tableside, so of COURSE, we did that. This was easily the most delicious caesar I've ever had. That fresh lemon dressing really knocked it out of the park. This isn't to downplay the steaks we all ordered, but man, that caesar!! To say I was blown away by this dining experience is an understatement. I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends and it is incredible. From the moment we walked in, you are greeted by a welcoming and hospitable team. The restaurant is quite large, and we were seated in one of the smaller rooms off from the side of the bar. It was perfect for us so we could chat and catch up with one another. We started the evening with cocktails and a few appetizers. The restaurant offers amazing complimentary bread service that is table side. We also ordered the meat balls that came with three total and the chopped salad. The salad was definitely my favorite starter from our menu. For main dishes, we ordered the chicken parmesean, a steak and the vodka pasta. I was completely full by the end of the evening, but of course, we still finished the meal with the chocolate cake. Came here for another restaurant week! Loved the vibes of Fioretta. There was a jazz ensemble also playing in background. The restaurant week special had some add ons included. We started off with the wood roasted oysters and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was a little salty, but the oysters were pretty yummy and warm. For the second course, we substituted one of the courses for the 16 oz New York strip and the other is the chicken Parmesan. I was a little disappointed with the chicken parm (my fault because I thought it included pasta). We paid $40 more for the New York strip and it was perfectly charred on the outside with a nice medium rare touch inside. Also, the tiramisu was so BOMB!! I loved everything about it and I had a second stomach as soon as the dessert came. I think this place is okay to try out at least once. This restaurant is definitely for special occasions or a once a year type of meal. It's even better if you have the Chase Sapphire reserved so you can get that doing credit. read more

The vibe was a cross between a chic, upscale speakeasy and vintage Chicago steakhouse. Loved the intimate lighting, comfortable seating options and city feel. This is definitely a restaurant frequented by the in crowd, and I see the attraction! The cocktails were creative and tasty and the mixologist will tailor the cocktail according to your preferences, if you ask. The menu is approachable and ample for all except vegans, as there were not many non-dairy/meat-free options; however, they do offer delicious vegetables as side dishes. I loved that the menu wasn't overloaded with everything under the sun, it offered just the right amount of beef, poultry, seafood and pasta options. Our group had a set menu and everyone enjoyed all of the entrées. The feeling when you walk in is, " I want to be here and be seen here". Was in Fioretta on Monday for a double date and had heard nothing but great things for ages, so was happy to finally have an excuse to pop in. The interior feels very mobster-like with all the staff dressed in bowties, and booths everywhere, plus dark lighting, a piano player, etc. Like I would go there to have a meeting between familigias, yaknowwhatimean? I started with the Nice N' Easy cocktail, which was Grey Goose-based with bergamotto, elderflower, lemon, and prosecco. So many of my favorite flavors in drinks, I had no choice but to order. It came to the table dressed in flower petals and tasted bright and flowery. We ordered the wood-fired oysters, which were super, super flavorful and maybe the best non-raw oysters I've had. The Fioretta chopped salad was also ordered to start, and was quite nice, actually. Very much exactly what you would expect. My final dish was the chicken parm, which greatly exceeded expectations. I would have been gagged if there was an accompanying pasta of some sort (not that I would have had room for it), but this chicken cutlet was massive, breaded to perfection, and had the PERFECT balance of cheese and sauce. Plus a little scamorza and robiola cheese tied together the dish expertly. It may be my new favorite chicken parm in the city, and I take that so serious. Our server, Shark, was slay af. The interior is very simple, the background music is just loud enough to still be able to have conversations, and the vibe is lively. Fioretta is without question one of the best steakhouses in Chicago. Came here for the first time last week for my birthday. I had a reservation and was seated immediately by the bar area. It's not clear if the dining room is for bigger groups, but the small table by the bar was just fine. My waitress was excellent; super attentive and had great recommendations for everything I consumed. I'll cut to the chase - I had the NY strip with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and it was all fantastic. I judge a steakhouse by how good the leftovers are, and that stuff was STILL tasty the next day. Because it was my birthday I was given a lovely tiramisu on the house. I can't recommend this place enough; bring your checkbook tho because it's not cheap. But I can honestly say I'll be back as soon as my bank account allows. read more

We dined at Fioretta during Thanksgiving and they offered a 4 course meal. Upon entering I noticed everybody was dressed up and it's a very nice spot where you go out for a special occasion. I started off with the meatballs where you get two large meatballs in a delicious marinara sauce. Then move on to a salad and got the kc strip as my main course. Then for dessert I got a delicious lemon meringue cake. They made our thanksgiving feel special when we were away from our family. It took a while for them to take our order, and between courses there seemed a somewhat excessive gap. Not an egregious wait, but a bit annoying. The food and drinks were about the same. Not terrible, but kinda left something to be desired. Our drinks were pretty standard for what we ordered. For food we got the asparagus and chopped salad to share. I ordered the filet and my wife got the halibut. The bread and chopped salad were delicious! The asparagus wasn't impressive, good, but not anything to write home about. The filet was cooked perfect, but was a little over salted. The most disappointing was that the halibut was overcooked. It was dry and a little tough as a result. We were there for my wife's birthday, and they did treat us to a complementary dessert for it, which was a nice surprise. The ambiance is moody and vintage, with dim lighting and oldies music playing softly in the background such a vibe! The layout and decor of the restaurant were thoughtfully done and definitely made an impression. We started off the evening with cocktails, I tried the Rhuby Martini, which was unfortunately a bit too sweet for my taste. My partner had an extra dirty martini, and that one was actually really good nicely balanced. For dinner, I switched to a Sauvignon Blanc, while my partner enjoyed a Cabernet Sauvignon, both of which paired well with our meals. To start, we ordered the Fioretta Chopped Salad and the Tuna Tartare Crudo. Both were okay not bad, but we were hoping for a bit more of a wow factor, especially with the tartare. For the main course, though, everything hit the mark. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was cooked to absolute perfection crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. My partner had the 16oz New York Strip with Grilled Asparagus, and both were delicious and well-executed. Overall, Fioretta nails the atmosphere and serves up a solid meal. A few dishes underwhelmed slightly, but the mains definitely made up for it. Had an awesome date night here. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with lots of space. Our server Jose was the absolute best! He went above and beyond to make our night perfect. He was attentive and friendly with a good sense of humor. The appetizers weren't my fav they were a bit salty. The main dishes were good. The Cacio e Pepe was creamy with big noodles. The steak had a great flavor although it was a bit over cooked. We also had the pesto gnocchi I wouldn't get that again it wasn't a great flavor for me. Right when you walk in it's a very nice atmosphere. However the steak was cooked very poorly. The steak was super salty I barely ate any of my steak and I came here on my 21st birthday . They did get us another steak but it was also super salty I am very disappointed in how the steak tasted and how much we had to pay for it. read more

Came here for Chicago Restaurant Week with friends and had a terrible experience. We were told we couldn't take pictures with flash, our waiter Patrick was rude, and the service was bad from start to finish. The food was disappointing, and they wouldn't allow anyone at our table to order from the main menu because some of us were doing the Restaurant Week menu. Every other Restaurant Week restaurant I've been to allows this, so it felt unnecessary. I also spoke to the manager, who was robotic and more focused on explaining company policy than actually caring about the customer experience. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Between the service and how we were treated, it honestly left me feeling singled out. Save your coins. Definitely not worth it. read more

Fioretta was absolutely delicious. We started off with the calamari, burrata salad, and chard oysters. I was a huge fan of the fried asparagus in the calamari and the burrata salad was chefs kiss. For entrees we ordered the lobster pasta, cacio e pepe, delmonico ribeye with blue cheese crust, black truffle agnolotti, and the chicken Parmesan. The steak was good but the lobster pasta was my absolute favorite. The black truffle agnolotti sauce was decadent! Blue cheese crust was good but I wouldn't do it again, too thick so kinda falls off more than I would have liked. The ambiance of the restaurant was very moody and it's a complete vibe. We came in on a whim and sat at the bar right in time for last call for happy hour. The wine was tasty, and the vibes at the bar sexy and lively. The live music was a nice touch and started by 7 on this Thursday night. We got the petite filet, rigatoni carbonara, and a ceasar salad. The filet was a delicious steak, the rigatoni an excellent creamy pasta, and the ceasar was tasty as well. Everything was great, and our bartender was awesome too. I went here with my parents for a random nice dinner and essentially I'm obsessed with this place?? The 70s are deco decor inside live music, nice tablecloth and an air of I'm a cool person for being here? I was obsessed. We started with the bread service which was brought to you individually table side, and then the table side, Caesar salad, call it gimmicky, but it was great- heavily dressed and extremely indulgent. We shared pasta, vodka, steak, and then a few sides. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The broccoli was a skip. The steak was excellent prepared and the pasta was a skip, but we also used gluten-free noodles. We ended with the olive oil cake which was light and the perfect end of the meal.
