a close up of a sub sandwich
    Andrea M.

Genesis & Treveon where both great help in answering my questions before I ordered on DoorDash. They made sure I had extra sauces I did have a hair in one of my sandwiches a long black hair but the other sandwich is great. The cookie was soft and condiments and silverware was all in as I requested. I haven't tried the cookie or chili yet but looking forward to it and I'm sure the staff will replace my sandwich and make it right.

    My poor baby's "combo"
    Tara A.

Ordered a salad, sandwich, and a kid's combo. The kids combo was literally missing everything but the sandwich. No toy/treat, no drink, no chips or dessert, nothing. When I called to get it resolved, the girl I spoke with told me "well they're super busy," and didn't bother to address the inconvenience whatsoever. She kept interrupting me rudely multiple times and didn't listen to a thing I said because I had to repeat myself. She cut me off and said "we don't provide toys just crispy treats" which was humorous since my daughter received neither. No thank you, we won't be coming back to this location. Just poor service, and for the food price and considering the pure inconvenience, "any other sandwich place" is the finer choice.

Little did he know or could see that there was a toddler in front of me that was actually running to the door that I was chasing. We walk in and two of the young men get huge smiles on their face. I guess they were excited to see the young man racing me to the door. There's 3 people on staff... 2 behind the register and 1 stocking the chips. No greeting at all. They just sit there talking to the racer walker. Finally one of the young men walk towards me but says nothing... I waited, purposely, about 2 minutes and then he says, "are you gonna know what you want" I read my order off and he calls for the young man (Seyten) that was originally stocking chips and asked if he could "sprinkle" although he was doing absolutely nothing but asking the guy that came in (Micah) if he wanted a free sandwich. I waited for Seyten to come and I didn't mind at all because he was clearly busy in the back and still turned out to be so polite.. very manner-able and when I asked him for a few things on the side, he went to the back to get a bowl then immediately changed his gloves out. I can tell he is the responsible one that they make do all the work. Micah (not currently working), Noah and especially the other young boy on shift tonight need to be fired or re-trained! Seyten, give him a raise or promotion. He's the only reason for the 2 star rating. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the food was fresh.

I was looking for kombucha (you'll see me mention this a lot in reviews, sorry, but it's my substitute until I get used to not drinking soda or alcohol), and I did go on a bit of a circuit before finding the location. There was none on the shelf, but an associate checked in the back and found some for me before stocking the shelf. The store is dingy in the way stores are when they're old, but it's clean. The shelves are appropriately faced and full, and the aisles are spacious. Good ambiance--lots of families shopping, and a pleasant overall community vibe. Pricey, but like other grocery chains where you're better shopping deals and having membership cards. Could use a wider selection of kombucha though. :(

And, there are other similar places that were closer and for years offered great food. However, the two other Jewish deli spots have really gone downhill and Scott's just keeps on delivering great food, hearty portions and fast, awesome service. Total was like $22 something, gave the guy $25. Took maybe 5 minutes to get ready. I took it out to my car to dig in. How was it? Ok. New Yorker- This sandwich had corned beef and pastrami, cole slaw, Swiss, and Russian dressing on some rye bread. Pretty big sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef were tasty, albeit a tad fattier then I prefer. The cole slaw was pretty mayo heavy and goopy, I honestly scraped most of it off. Rye bread was soft, but nothing "great". I'm spoiled by Langer's and I need to tell myself that I will never find anything as good as that sandwich. Oh well......I tried. Sandwich was a 7/10 IMO. The sandwich came with some cottage fries which were ok, a side of pickles that weren't really pickled (tasted like a straight up cucumber) and some cole slaw which I did not try. Service was very friendly, the cashier was Scott himself, I think. The guy who brought out my food was friendly as can be, too. Would I come back? Yes. Would I drive down here specifically from Surprise for a sandwich? Maybe.

There are so many fast food chains around the area.. but sometimes, you just want a meal made with love from a mom and pop shop! First of all, we don't have a Total Wine or BevMo in the area, so this is a great spot to find some unique beers, tiny bottles, wines and hard liquor. The store carries a good variety of unique flavors you typically don't see at a local grocery store. This place was POPPIN' as soon as we entered. It's a place to hang out to grab a brew with your crew along with some yummy sandwiches!!! I didn't expect the sandwiches to be HUGE, by the way. It's worth every penny and love the fact that their bread is fluffy! We got the Jimmy Kerr Duo (which is named after one of the streets in Casa Grande!) and cannot wait to try their other roast beef sandwiches! The staff here is also very welcoming and friendly, and they got my sandwich out QUICK despite it being an almost "full-house"! I would highly recommend this sandwich spot for any newcomers in town if you manage to stop by Casa Grande. :)

Though, the wait was quite long but I tried to be understanding since not many locations are open on holidays. It's counter service so some delay was that the staff couldn't find us (example: croissant arrived after our meal and 10-15 minutes after the cappuccino ordered with it). The patio looks nice for cooler days, and we enjoyed sitting in the little nook that had paintings and small crafts for sale. Recently purchased by new owners from France, I knew I had to try as I love French cuisine. They have a French Specials Board and a Croissant Menu, which my boyfriend both ordered from. We both said we wished there were more French items to choose from. What We Ordered: ~ Coke: served as a can with a mason jar of ice. ~ Goat Cheese Croque Monsieur: My boyfriend loved it, but wished there was more béchamel sauce. The goat cheese compliments the ham really well, and he throughly enjoyed. ~ French Quiche (Chicken, bell pepper, cheddar): I really enjoyed this quiche as it's not something you can find done well in a lot of places. The combination of ingredients work well together. ~ Cappuccino: This was crafted well and I enjoyed the light dusting of topping (believe cinnamon sugar). The espresso paired nicely with the frothed milk and velvety foam. ~ Croissant & Butter: Sadly, this was like any croissant you can get. A skip for us next time, but probably great for a sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our meal though I'm not a fan of counter service. We'd return again, and pick a table more in the open so it's easily to deliver food to us.
