This was the first time I visited fire house subs. The establishment is very clean and really welcoming. This was the first time I use their app I didn't do it right so when I arrived, my items weren't there that was my fault so the owner helped me by walking me through the app and she was super friendly along with the workers that were there. A portion of the bill goes towards supplying supplies for Frontline workers such a great place to support. Will definitely bring my family back to try this place and recommend it to family and friends to come and support a local business. read more

Tried Firehouse in Riverside for the first time when I picked 6 footlong subs for my Monday Bible study. Everybody loved them. I was even able to put the leftover sandwich in the toaster oven a day later. It was delicious! Definitely going back and it has good cause actions. read more

So glad I tried Firehouse Subs. I got a Medium Tuna and it didn't disappoint. The bread is soft and fresh, tuna is mixed with the perfect amount of tuna, mayo and a little bit of relish. My husband got the "Hook and Ladder", we ordered it toasted but it wasn't toasted enough for hubby even though the cheese was melted. The girl was new so we excused getting a medium even though we ordered a "large", which he could have devoured because he LOVED it. :) My granddaughter ordered a medium meatball and she said they were the best meatballs she's had in a sandwich EVER. Pickles on the side were a plus. Can't wait to go back. The trip from UCR area to Tyler Mall area was worth it!! read more

I've lived in the area for 8 years and never had Firehouse because for one, I'm not a big sandwich guy. My wife started working in Menifee and "discovered" the chain and kept raving about it. So I decided to try this location which was a 30 minute drive. I tried the Brisket and cheddar on wheat and also the turkey bacon ranch on white. The brisket and cheddar was good, but I favored the turkey bacon ranch. I prefer bbq sauce when the meat is being cooked, not as a sauce or dressing. Either way, the sandwiches are a notch higher than Subway, Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes. The bread they have is pretty soft. I'd come back to try the other sandwiches read more

I've been to this subway a few times and most of the workers are amazing such as CC and Gavin. I went on Tuesday to order a BLT & a worker named Kim was taking my order. She was extremely rude the whole time & had such a horrid attitude. After she messed up my order ( which i believe was purposely done ) i simply left. I always chose subway not only because of their food but because of the customer service, this was a very negative & disappointing interaction, I hope she learns respect like the rest of her coworkers. read more

This new FireHouse Sub opened almost two weeks ago and we've gone three times! It's THAT good. The meatball sub is the best (that sauce tho!) my wife loves the turkey bacon (apparently the ranch is delicious according to her). Today I walked in with my five-year-old and was denied access to the restroom by Brandon because it is for customers only and was embarrassed in front of a crowd to walk out and find a different restroom. We are so happy Firehouse made it to Riverside. We had to drive to drive to Redlands for our hot pastrami favorite. Mouth watering, full of flavor, and so satisfying for lunch or dinner. My son is a pastrami coniseur. We have traveled near a far to find the best Pastrami in SoCal. Amd it's right here. We've had the ham amd cheese, the tuna, the roast beef and they have all been excellent. The customer service is aweome. Everyone is nice and quick to get us our order. Great atmosphere that celebrates our men amd woman who are firefighters. True heroes! Go check them out. A great addition to Riverside. read more

Just wish that they would learn the difference between corned beef and roast beef. They are nothing alike. I keep ordering corned beef, and when my daughter brings it to me.... it's roast beef. I can't order from them anymore unless I have my daughter physically take me next time. read more

Picked up Friday night dinner on 8/21/20. Ordered the sweet and spicy meatball, club on a sub, and steak sandwiches. We got the potato soup, the chili, and the Mac and cheese. Hmmmm. Instead of apologizing for the wait, they just argued. I tried to explain the dilemma and how the wait has never been so long to pick up an order. It amazes me how stupid they think I am. Just say you fell behind, and apologize. Don't sit there and make excuses for third-party orders, or eating it in clear until I walked in the door which is a lie, or any other excuses! For this being my first time trying it here this is a very bad first impression especially when I drove there and back home. I ordered the hero and get home to see that my sub has absolutely no meat at all in just lettuce tomatoes and mayo. Im giving 3 stars instead of 0 because they have really good customer service and they fixed the issue but I had to drive back. If you're vegetarian/vegan they have an option for you! As a vegetarian I am not particularly fond of cold subs but I figured I would come in here and ask if they had anything for vegetarians. They actually do have a Veggie Sub, it's not on the menu, but you just have to ask for it. The cashier was really nice in explaining everything that was in it. It comes with grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, 3 types of cheese, mustard, and Italian dressing. I told them no mayo in mine and you can choose to have it on white or wheat bread, I chose wheat. The bread was super soft and honestly this is the best veggie sub I've ever had. It was warm and delicious and definitely beats any sad cold subs I've had from other places. I also didn't wait long for my sub and they had my order ready in under 10 minutes. Firehouse Subs is about to put the Jimmy John's across the street out of business lmao. read more

I'm not one to write bad reviews, BUT.. this was my first time at firehouse subs and they really disappointed me. I was in line behind a guest and not only did that take about 8 minutes for my initial order to be taken, I was the only one in line and both registers were open. THEN they took my order, and I had asked for no Mayo on my small sized sub. After I had to wait another 10 minutes, I drove my order all the way home to find out that ONLY turkey, cheese and Mayo was on my sub. I have one star for some good salad dressings and at least some food to bring home. read more

If I could I would live off sandwiches. This place just opened up. Manager was super nice! They do provide hand sanitizer and follow COVID guidelines. I ordered through their mobile app. Got three sandwiches (and YES SIR they have gluten free bread). Finally a sandwich joint that has good gluten free bread. If you order on a mobile app or online your order will be ready as soon as you walk in there. Labeled with your name on the receipt. If you had a drink with your meal. Just walk to the fountain and grab your drink. If you had chips with your order than grab the chips you want. I didn't know this so when I walked in the manager i wasn't sure and he offered to get my drink for me. Also they have to cool soda machine with the different flavors and they got the good ice (those small tiny tiny ice cubes). I got a Grape sprite. Was excited to have a Firehouse subs near us, but sadly, both visits resulted in our order being incorrect. Frustrating as these are take home orders. They repeat what you asked for, so you leave trusting they got it right, but no. We had to drive back both times to get the order corrected which was very frustrating. At minimum, we should have been offered a free sandwich for there mistake. read more
