It was worth every single minute I waited to be seated. The atmosphere in here during the wait was…read moreso nice, and it was all thanks to the staff. They make the wait time enjoyable by talking, smiling, and kidding around. We all broke out laughing when an older couple in their nineties walked right past me and took my seat at the counter. It was the funniest thing. But I was still able to get a seat at the counter, and what a joy that was. I wished I knew the guy's name and the names of the gentlemen behind him delivering the food. They were the best group of people! I know you all are waiting on the food review! Well, I'll tell you that everything was perfectly made, thanks to a great staff! I hope this place never loses its charm, its friendliest staff, and the fluffiest of pancakes. I've never met a group of people who can make you feel so great and deliver the best breakfast.

The pancakes are fluffy and the eggs are always done correctly. Although the food is quite delicious the service needs work. A manager seated at the food counter would solve some server errors. For example, "no arugula" was missed, no syrup was given for the pancakes, no water for the table, no water was offered, and a side of avocado was forgotten. These are server issues and maybe the cook didn't read the ticket correctly. This will not stop me from returning, but if they would like to increase the star rating, this needs to be corrected quickly. Lastly, adding sound wall panels will help with the loudness of the dining area.

The right blend of chocolate, honey and cinnamon. Just the right level of sweetness for me. My wife really enjoyed her breakfast sammich. My Wagyu Power Bowl was great. Unfortunately, the brunch menu left much to be desired. The Sunday menu had very limited vegan or vegetarian options (not even a salad?), and substitutions were not allowed. I was told I "couldn't substitute bacon," not even for avocado. I ordered what I thought would be chilaquiles, but it turned out to be a trendy, Americanized version of the dish. Being Hispanic, I know better than to order dishes like this at restaurants because I expect traditional cooking. So know that the eggs in the chilaquiles are served over easy and very runny, they are not scrambled. Also, instead of tortillas, the dish used Dorito-esque chips. Since I can't eat undercooked eggs, I was essentially left with a bowl of chips for $13 (pictured). Overall, the menu felt like it was trying a little too hard to be trendy or "cool" rather than letting the locally sourced ingredients (which is really cool feature they offer!) speak for themselves. I liked that they care about sourcing ingredients, but the execution felt more focused on creating "quirky", elevated twists versus making dishes that are cohesive or satisfying.

I fell for the up sale of a larger sandwich which I really didn't like. I went to get a soda and tried two different flavors and both tasted flat and more like carbonated water than anything. I brought it to the attention of the people working, one of them went over and pushed Some buttons however no one ever said a word about it to me even while I sat in there eating. Poor customer service and I won't be back. If you can't fix it a customers issue you can at least let them know.

Their service can be inconsistent though as the first time we came here, it was slow. However our second time here was completely different (different staff were working); the girls were quick and efficient. That being said, their food quality each time was pretty consistent which was a plus! We had their Firehouse meatball on garlic bread and Firehouse steak & cheese. Both were delicious. You can choose your bread (white, wheat, or gluten-free), and we went with wheat. I really love their bread as it has the perfect chew to it. The meatball sub was good but a bit too salty which was a mistake on my part to order it on garlic bread which was already salted. We went there again the next day, and got the same steak & cheese (with double meat) because we really liked it and also tried their Jamaican Jerk turkey, it was pleasantly good and lightly sweet (from their sweet mustard sauce) but not what you would expect from anything that has word "Jamaican jerk" in it as it has no kick and is not dry. I also got their garlic bread which was so good (crispy edges and soft inside)
