Instead of taking customer feedback as an opportunity to improve, many of the responses come across as defensive, dismissive, and disrespectful. Reading those interactions makes it seem like customer concerns are not taken seriously. I don't mind paying premium prices when the food and service justify it, but neither did in this case. After finishing, he said someone will get my ordered made. No one ever acknowledged my order. Some staff, kept going to the back, coming up front, looking at each other and laughing. So, since the shake machine is in the back, out of sight, I didn't trust them making it, so I stopped a staff member and asked to cancel my order. He did without an issue, because no one bother to start it. As the on duty manager was refunding me. A staff member came from the back and lowly asked him if it was canceled. He turned and said yes. So maybe, they already cleaned the machine and don't want to use it, not sure. He did offer a free pastry, I had one on my order, but told him no, it was ok. Always make a point to withhold your money, if you aren't treated as a wanted customer. Everything is too high nowadays. And unfortunately, employees think, their bosses pay them, regardless of money coming through the business. Also, after the previous manager, the food quality has gone way down. It's sad to see the place so empty, compared to how it was before. So disappointing!

I ordered a combo sandwich with turkey, hot salami, and jalapeño/cayenne cheddar and all the fixins and it was delicious! The Dutch crunch roll was tasty and it was a hearty sandwich! Everything tasted great. Overall, I can see why this is a Stockton staple. For $11 you get a damn good sandwich that's very filling. I would definitely return.

Togos is now very pricey and for that there's an expectation that the food will be what I expect. Both days I have ordered the BBQ beef sandwich they have been cold, not lukewarm-cold as if it came out of the refrigerator. The first day I figured it was an error so reluctantly ordered another specifically saying hot. We live 5 minutes away it's summer there is no way a hot sandwich gets home and is cold again. My husband tried to call and you could hear the person on the other end trying to make excuses. I told him to go back and refund them. They ended up making new sandwiches but a different employee who recognized my husband made them. This sounds good except that over 2 days we paid 66.02 for sandwiches to get headaches and extra effort. Of California loses Togos I don't think I will be as upset as I once would have.
