Subway Located on N California St in Stockton, CA Here's my story: I've been wanting to have Subway for a minute. So today was the perfect day to do it. I picked up my son from school and asked him, if he wanted Subway. "Sure" he replied. I was taking pictures of the new Subway and noticed this business wasn't on Yelp. So, I needed to add and be the "FTR" First To Review. Mission accomplished. It's a brand spanking new Subway and looked very nice. There's not a lot of parking (available) Because St Joseph's hospital is across the street and a Starbucks next door. Plus Medical business surrounding the area. But we were lucky enough to find one very close by. Back to the Sammy and Sammich. I picked out the $6 Sammy of the day. Turkey breast sitting on wheat. Packed with hella this and that. It was hella bomb dot com too. My Son wanted the "Subway Favorites " 2018 Promo $4.99 Foot long Black Forest Ham. He liked his Sammich with chips. I just came from the gym and didn't want chips nor a soda:). Just the Sammy. My son got the chips and drink. Customer service was pretty nice and the subs looked hecka Gucci. I was multitasking like no other. Adding the business to Yelp, taking pictures, My Boo called me on the phone. I'm trying to carry on a conversation with bae. While the Subway worker was talking to me about the veggies and what's what. I was like "All veggies and all sauces" "Just throw whatever in there, lol" The food was ready and on the front counter, I'm still talking to bae. I grab the tray walk off without paying. I go sit down. My Son is like "Dad" She needs you back to pay" Aww man, that situation was a funny experience, lol. I think I did okay though. :) We got to the table and both of us "Son & I" enjoyed our Sammy's. I like Subway a lot and eat Subway a few times a week. The kids love Subway, so this place is alright in my book. "It only takes a moment to make a moment" Sincerely VD

Very welcome, the service, interaction with all employees was excellent…read more We enjoyed sitting outside under umbrellas. I will say Filipino food/flavor is not for everyone. I did love the spaghetti. It is nothing like traditional Italian spaghetti. It's sweet very interesting. If you've never had Filipino cooking before, going with an open mind and no expectation and you'll have a great time.

I came back, and they finally had the Spicy Chickenjoy in stock...WAHOO!!…read more I initially got in the drive-thru line, but it was ridiculously long, so I bailed and went inside instead. The staff was friendly, but I do think the ordering line inside could be managed better. The layout makes it hard to tell where the line begins and ends. A woman accidentally tried to cut in front of half the line because she thought I was next to order, when I was actually the last person in line. It wasn't really her fault, it was just confusing. Maybe some tape on the floor with arrows or a better queue setup would help. They have the rope barriers, but they don't seem to be doing the trick. One thing I was a little disappointed by was that this location doesn't offer the Chicken joy combo with sides **and** a pie. The Concord location has that meal, and it's a much better value than the standard combo with just the sides. I was hoping this location would have it too, but maybe it'll be added to the menu in the future. As for the food, everything was delicious! The Spicy Chickenjoy was actually spicier than I remembered, which I enjoyed. The fries were just okay, but the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese were both really good. My husband also ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe with spicy mayo and jalapeño coins to try (in addition to our go-to spicy chicken joy) and he actually preferred the sandwich over the Spicy Chickenjoy we usually get. And don't skip the mango peach pies, they were so good! The only downside is that the drive-thru gets incredibly backed up, but the food definitely hit the spot, and I'm glad I finally got to enjoy the Spicy Chickenjoy again.

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while now, based on word of mouth. In order for the 2 of…read moreus to get maximum exposure to Fork It's quality, ordered 1 12" Cowboy with BBQ sauce on the side; 1 12" Clucking Bacon Ranch, 1 chocolate cream pie, 1 coconut cream pie and a single order of onion rings. My husband called in the order and I advised him to get there early as things have a tendency to sell out. 15 minutes later he arrived in the small strip mall off Don & Hammer, happy to find a disabled spot almost right in front. The area itself is a bit sketchy but okay during the abbreviated hours, mostly 11AM-4PM.. Closed Saturdays and most Sundays. The two big bags of wonderful smelling food cost $70, and I will describe and show photos of just what you will receive. A special note for the owner's son, Big D. The fact you noticed my guy was both elderly and disabled and offering help with the bags was beyond and above. He doesn't mention it but he's still a bit unsteady after hip surgery. My food rating is 4.5 but genuine kindness bumps it to a full 5! We started in splitting the chicken sandwich. I loved the fresh, lightly toasted bread and the fact this small business father and son team source locally. The roll was dressed with shredded lettuce and a couple ripe tomato slices. Two meaty slices of bacon added to the enjoyment, but what really knocked me out and made this such a fine value, 2 huge, (about the size of your palm and fingers), slices of breast with another half thrown in for good measure. The chicken benefitted from marinating then grilling just right. Missing in action? Any and all ranch dressing-I even looked for to-go containers but none to be found. Comparing notes with DH he said his bread was dripping with sauce to the point of being soggy...I guessed when the sandwich was upright on the drive home everything wet rushed to one side! Stuff happens. The size of these sandwiches is huge but we moved on to the Cowboy for dinner. Cut in two, I took the smaller side, closer to 5". I've deconstructed down to the point of separating out onions, mushroom and tri tip. We opted for Provolone for more of a cheesesteak vibe. Generous slabs of mild cheese helped hold the whole thing together. DH grilled tri tip and ribs for the Stockton Ports game for several years and knew what to look for. The consensus, fair amount of meat, cooked medium well, tender with good flavor. I specified BBQ sauce on the side, which was no problem. That way I could deconstruct my half Cowboy, could be a nurse thing! DH thought too many onions while I thought the ratio to meat was spot on. Sadly the mushrooms turned out to be 3/4ths of one button mushroom thinly sliced for my share. Both grilled onions and mushrooms add additional moisture and flavor. Adding the sauce, a molasses tomato blend with a small peppery kick made for a very enjoyable meal. The onion rings were about 1/2" thick and plentiful. Crispy on the outside while still being moist on the inside with sweet onion. The coconut pie was creamy with toasted coconut sprinkled over the whipped topping. The crust was of interest, buttery cookie instead of graham cracker or standard pie crust. Our chocolate cream pie was a chocolate lover's dream. A light mousse touch to the filling with heavier ganache brownie crust. We're still working on that one. So 4 meals, 2 happy campers and even our dogs give 4 paws up.

I had 'The Real Deal' ( Tri tip, grilled onions and cheese of choice), the garlic fries with Parmesan cheese and two desserts lol! The 'Brown Sugar Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake' and the 'Key Lime pie'! Once a month, they have pastrami sandwiches! Everything was delicious, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Frosty burger really like that…read more.. Pulled up to frostys in Stockton, Lowkey, regular day. But nahhh Soon as I bit that burgers, I'm like hold up... who grilling back there? Somebody grandma?? Somebody with a secret recipe?? SpongeBob? Because that patty sliding crazy. Cheese melting like it got motion. Bun soft but it ain't folding under pressure. Fries came out hot, fresh, no hesitation. You know when food hit and everybody at the table go quiet? That type vibe. Respectful silence. Then the shake pulled up heavy. Thick for real. Straw struggling. I'm like tapping the cup like, yeah you different." Ain't gonna lie, frosty burgers solid. If you from Stockton, you already know. Stop playin and tap in real simple. -ebkjayybo

We loved the food here. The burgers (double Ultimate and double Pastrami) were juicy and delicious…read moreand the fries were SO crispy and fluffy on the inside. The reasons for 3 stars are: Not enough staff: we weren't greeted at all and even when the worker finally came to the register after waiting almost 10 minutes- she just stared at us blankly. She wasn't friendly, at all. She seemed really unhappy to be there and was unnecessarily cold. The restaurant looks like it's under construction. There's a line of metal poles lined around the inside windows that looks like it's meant to hold an L shaped counter- but no counter. There was sauce and crumbs on tables and chairs. Way more effort should be put into their customer service and the dining room atmosphere. Finally, the price! $40 for two combos at a fast food restaurant is insane. We liked the burgers well enough that we will probably come back but with these prices it won't be more than 1 or 2 times per year. Chilis and Applebees both have decent burgers for half the price and they have cocktails and actual Servers who smile and act like they like their jobs.

I am glad we ended up here! It is a small place with a few tables. The guy that took out order was very friendly. I decided to get the large Fruity Pebbles milkshake, blended with Vanilla Ice Cream. This specific cereal was a classic choice and one of my favorites in my childhood. The actual milkshake was so good! Not only was it beyond delicious, but it also brought back so many nostalgic memories of being a kid. The restaurant's interior had a cozy, inviting feel. Many tables and chairs were available for comfortable seating. There was a wall decorated with a bunch of cool stickers, too. The service was pleasant. The milkshake was prepared fairly quickly. Overall, Midnight at Burnie's Drive-Up is the spot when it comes to sweet, heartfelt indulgences. I cannot wait to come back and try more desserts and actual food from the menu.
