It's always a bad day when you have a nail in your tire, but I have had nothing but amazing experiences here at Firestone. Due to bad luck and a few blown tires, I'm now considered a regular and on first name basis with the managers. Chris and Shohil give amazing customer service and always make me feel safe and cared for. They consistently let me know about deals and will apply coupons to my bill. This location/company doesn't stand by there work. I had a repair done here a few months ago. Today when I had to get my car smogged, I learned they did part of the repair incorrectly. They used the wrong kind of part and just jerry rigged a similar part they had on hand. When I went there today for them to fix their mistake (with the correct part in hand) they refused. Trying to use the law as to why they couldn't. They did the work wrong they should have fixed it and the "smog laws" wouldn't have been an issue if they had done the work right the first time. I went in on the recommendation of my oil change tech who said my coolant system wasn't pressurized. The guy that met me at the counter came out to my car (to check it in bc I was going to drop it off for a $35 diagnostic test) and realized the oil tech was wrong and saved me $35 even though he could have just as easily taken the car, done no work, and taken the money. Called to ask about a flat repair and was delighted to get a 9 o'clock appointment. I arrived at 850, to check in, and was told by an employee that he would be happy to help me at 9, "sorry, it's only 854, and if you go in front you'll see an open sign at 9... go inside and they will help you." I was so surprised that he was being sarcastic. I just didn't expect it. So my "appointment" was actually first come first serve when they opened at 9. I waited until 925 to be helped by Thomas, who rolled his eyes when I mentioned that it would have been helpful to know I wasn't actually coming in for an appointment. This would not have been an issue given the opportunity to prepare to wait an additional 45 with two young children in tow. So annoyed. read more

I waited until I've been here more than once to do a review. I've gone in 3 times for 2 cars. Not only have I never had an issue with them, but I've always received EXCELLENT customer service. I had a nail in my tire this last time. They checked all my tires, fixed me up, and I was on my way for no charge. I've never felt pressured into getting "more work done." When I brought my older car in, they recommended I get a couple of belts changed. I said, "Not right now." and they said, "Ok." I was never made to feel like I was in imminent danger or anything like I've heard others say. I recommend going here, for sure. read more

I had a 1998 Toyota Camry that was being purchased by my 21-yr-old daughter taken to Firestone Complete Auto Care Greenback to be examined and serviced before completing the purchase. The Firestone shop installed a new timing belt and water pump at that time, among other, smaller servicing items. Recently (11 months after the Firestone servicing had been completed), the car was taken in for servicing and determined to have a problem with the timing belt. When the timing belt cover was removed, it was determined that the tensioner had been incorrectly installed when the belt was replaced - no Loctite or similar product was used, so the tensioner shook loose, the belt wasn't properly tensioned, and the belt, idler pulley, and water pump were all damaged. My daughter is now having to pay for more servicing (to the tune of some $900) in addition to the servicing that Firestone originally provided - due to Firestone's faulty workmanship. I attempted to get Firestone to provide some relief, but they have refused to back their workmanship (or lack thereof). Other consumers should be aware of the quality of Firestone's work, and their willingness to stand behind it. read more

Wow. Just wow... I have experienced bad/incompetent service before, (but this is maybe my 2nd negative review ever). I felt like I was In a high school detention, unsupervised!!! My wife brought her truck in to have a leak fixed. They said bring it in the AM tomorrow. She gets there, and they say they need the truck most of the day cause they are short handed. A 10-15 minute fix mind you. Now, i ordered two tires from Tire Rack.com to be delivered to Firestone for install. Hour and 15 minutes after I arrived on time to my appointment, they had one tire mounted (with incident already). While outside taking a phone call, I see the tech assigned to my car sitting on a old recliner in the back sipping a soda, on break. wtf! in the middle of a two tire install? Also, apparently removing lugs by hand is a lost art. "He was afraid he might scratch the wheels" he did anyway, but I suggested he use masking tape around the socket to avoid damage. Then I noticed him using a small electric drill to install the plastic center cap, 20 minutes later, the manager tells me that one of the screw holes for the cap is stripped. I asked if they had used a gun/drill to install them, and the assistant manager tells me to my face "No, he did it by hand". Then I show him that the cap is cracked! He offers to pay for the damage, if I buy a new one and bring in the receipt. 10am to almost 1pm to install 2 tires... no alignment or anything. All this, and the shop manager never looked up from his phone, just sitting at his desk... oblivious. No management, no pride, no nada.. The assistant manager frequently complains about his job... As i had heard myself, and my wife mentioned it as well when she's been there. LOST 2 CUSTOMERS TODAY, ONE A LONG TIME CUSTOMER. read more

I wouldn't ever buy another set of tires from firestone. I purchased a higher end set of Bridgestone's from this location. The tires are great but to get them rotated or if you get a flat expect to wait several hours at minimum or to make an appointment another day. This place is busy doing auto repair and has no time to service the tires they sell. Unfortunately I haven't ever conveniently had a flat tire, and demand a faster response for my tire service. I'd recommend buying a tires from a place that only does tires, as they can rotate and fix flats while you wait, every time. read more

Ally is amazing! Shopped around for an oil change and she right away found a deal/coupon for me within Firestone. My tires were so bad, I knew it already but found out how bad they really were-below the legal limit. She was genuinely worried about my safety specially since it started raining and knew I couldn't afford to replace all tires yet so she found another top of the line deal to make it possible to replace my tires. One word terrible. Wow, don't come here unless you want to be broke and treated like crap. We bought 4 new tires here and when we got a flat because of a nail not even in the side wall, they said it want covered!! They charged us 180 for a new tire after we had already spent almost 500. They don't do free balancing our rotation like Americas tire Co, and they charge you 30$?? What a rip off. Plus a friend if mine went there and got an oil change before we drove to Oregon, they were already 2000 overdue,.when we got back from Oregon they took the car in for a tune up and there wasNO OIL IN THE CAR AND THE CAP WAS OFF..!! After a drive to Los Angeles, at high speeds (70 mph+) , significant pulsing - appeared to be defective rotors. Took car in - no hassles. they honor their product and their warranty. Sorry I thought this was gonna be a good one boy was I wrong.Went to Firestone to get my tires put on and I have a fairly nice truck never had lead weights anywhere on the outside of rims and never ever have hit a curb. But after taking for hours to mount and balance my tires I get my truck back at dark. I take it home about 5 miles to my house. Next morning I go out and look and I have no front center cap for my rims And I had a whole bunch lead weights around the outside of my rims. Like I said I have a pretty nice truck you would think you would know whether I would wants lead on it outside of the rims. One side was done with out lead on the outside. Whoever did the other side sure messed up. so the next day I make an appointment for the following day because the manager wasn't in at that time. Appointment day managers and make an appointment 2 PM I show up at 2 PM told him I didn't want any marks on the outside of my rims when you take off the lead on the outside (never had any marks )I get it back with six gaseous were they took off the lid on my rims.I bring the Manager back out show him the six couches on my rims. Arrived on time for my appointment for new tire installation. Was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. Attendant reviewed my needs, provided options for alignment (one time or lifetime). They didn't try to upsell me on any other services. They had the vehicle up on the rack within a couple of minutes of my arrival. Was done in the time promised, with a nice coat of tire shine applied to my new tires. I recently took my vehicle there for repair and they told me that I needed to replace my starter for an outrageous price of over $400.00. When my car wouldn't start one morning, I had it towed to a repair shop which was closer to my home. The repair shop informed me that it was my battery and not the starter. They couldn't imagine how Firestone could have missed that easy diagnosis. The battery cost me $145.00 compared to $400.00. If it would have been the starter, the other repair shop gave me a quote of $275.00. If you don't mind paying a lot of money for an erroneous repair, go straight to Firestone. They'll be more than happy to supposedly help you out. Also, I was warned by my neighbor that this could happen with them and sure enough it did. read more

we purchased a 2000 infinity which failed smog, we showed the service adviser Mark the smog fail tag ;and he called infinity for a price on the catalytic converter and said it was 1300.00 didn't even quote the repairs for the knox, sensor issue i did some checking and the part number they used for the cat on the Firestone estimate was made by a manufacture called walker available for $104.97 delivered to my door. found out after calling the BAR they are not a licensed smog repair facility to wrap this up they were going to charge 1300.00 for an infinity which was only 104.97 made by walker. very deceitful, misleading and straight up fraud read more

My wife and I barely made it home on a late Saturday night with a failed alternator on my MDX. Sunday morning I'm in a panic trying to find someone to fix the problem so that I could make it Downtown on Monday morning for an important appointment. Thank goodness the Firestone by my house was open. They were able to replace the alternator and battery on a Sunday, so that I made my meeting Monday morning. I can't thank Firestone enough for being there when they were needed the most, and doing a GREAT JOB. read more

Super helpful!! I have taken my car to the dealership in the past to get oil changes and stuff. Every time I bring my car in to the dealership, they tell me there is something else that needs to be done to it. This car is 12 years old and I think they just try to profit off that. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! This is the worst Firestone I have ever been to. I left my car here to have the brakes replaced, and when I returned they had scratched up my driver side door. When I told them about it they were very rude and just blew it off. After I got to speak to a manager the only thing he could say is that they would give me a free oil change. Seriously a stupid oil change when it cost 700$ to repair my car door. These people are awful if you value your car do not bring it here. The Firestone on Madison Ave is better than this place. I went in very tentative about this company after hearing a lot of horror stories, but I had almost gotten into a wreck not even ten minutes before getting there because my breaks were shot. I was trying to hold off until Saturday when I had an appointment with another mechanic to do other work on my 1993 Dodge Caravan, but considering the fact that I work at a school and can't afford to run over my own students, I had to go into the mechanic immediately. I walked in and Dave helped me right from the get-go. My brake inspection was free (because it needed work). He called me about an hour and a half after I dropped it off (no appointment, with several people ahead of me) and told me what the pricing was without trying to sell me anything else. He gave me the online discount of $99.99 per axle. They installed new brake pads, resurfaced and cleaned the brake rotors on my front axle, adjusted and cleaned the brakes and repacked the wheel bearings on my rear axle, and gave it a test drive. I only paid $195.03 for the entire thing. I was planning on not having my van the entire day. They completed the inspection and repair in 4 hours. Sounds like a long time, but I came in literally off the road with no appointment and they already had a full shop with other people ahead of me. The service was great - again, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Dave was really nice and explained everything to me and gave me a great discount. They told me how much it would cost after the inspection so I would know what to expect. I would definitely go back again :) read more
