I called first and spoke to Mike, he said to come on in, he's the only one there. My husband and I showed up within the hour. I saw Mike behind the front desk on his computer talking to someone he acknowledged us but never asked why we were there once. we stood there waiting on Mike to come over or even say something to us that he will be right with us. "NOTHING" !!!He totally ignored us. (Rude ass) What a total jerk !!! We're still patiently waiting on Mike to come over to us. So a woman comes in the store and he gets up and immediately started helping her before he helped us. I was getting so pissed that he totaly didnt even get up until she came in... He never asked us at this point why we were there, however he asked her. She said she has a flat tire, well old Mike told her to pull around back and pull in to the bay, meanwhile my husband and I are just standing there like we're invisible. he says to us in a very (I'm too busy for you ) kind of attitude. when i said I have a shake in my car.... he interrupted me before I could even tell him I need a diagnostic done and says, "OH, YOU WON'T SEE THAT CAR TODAY" so if you're thinking about getting it done now?? no way. Like when were we supposed to be getting this info from him. He could not care less that we were just waiting on his lazy ass to get out of that chair to at least ask why we were there. I said "You took that lady before you even asked why we were here, and he said "she has a flat"!!! I'm like so what, she got serviced immediately while we had to wait on his ass to decide to help us. The absolute worst. This is now the second time that I showed up when they told me to after speaking with them the day before. They told me what time they opened and I should bring my car in at that time the next day. I did and there was no one there to work on my car. Total waste of time. My experience at Firestone was miserable. I had dropped my car off (without an appointment) at 9:00AM because the Check Engine light was on. I spoke with an employee by the name of Chris, who told me they would be able to look at my car and run a more thorough diagnostic (I had a free diagnostic done at Auto Zone) for $100. Chris also informed me that they would not charge me if they could not detect and/or fix the problem. He asked if he could have the car for the entire day, and I was happy to accommodate his request even though I was hoping to drive to Orlando, FL later that afternoon. At 10:30AM I came back to Firestone as I realized I had left my second set of house keys in the car. My car was already in the back of the shop, hooked up to the machine for diagnostic testing. After retrieving my keys I again spoke with Chris and asked if he had known when I could expect to hear the results of the diagnostic testing. He informed me that since the test was already in progress, I should hear from them no later than 12:00PM. At 1:00PM I still had not heard back from Chris or any of the other Firestone staff. I decided to contact them. Chris answered the phone and was incredibly rude. He told me that the diagnostic procedure could take anywhere from 30min to 4 hours. I asked if he had any idea how much time was left on my vehicle in this same 4-hour window, he told me: "If you are going to have such a problem, just come and pick-up the car". I had told him that I did not want to pick-up the car, but was simply curious since I had seen them working on the car at 10:30AM. After speaking with my family, I decided to pick-up the car. I called Firestone to let them know I was coming to retrieve the car and they were even more rude. I ignored their attitude and went anyway. Once arriving in the store, Chris told me: "Well, we weren't able to finish the results of the test BUT we know already that the repair is going to be very, very expensive. Easily $1,500 here and at the dealership nothing less than $3,000. That's not even including the price of labor. It's got some serious, serious issues". The irony in this statement is that they did not charge me for the diagnostic testing as the test was incomplete and inconclusive. How do you tell a customer that their car requires $1,500 worth of repairs yet not even know what is wrong with the vehicle? The answer: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. For the information of Firestone and all others reading this post, I took my car to another mechanic which came highly recommended by my family and friends. The repair and labor cost me $786.00 and was completed later that afternoon. Thank you Chris at Firestone. I will never use you or your company again. read more

Thought Firestone's estimate of $2700 was a bit high, so I took a leap of faith and brought my car into a mechanic I found online. To make a long story short, I got my car fixed for $46. Now I'm waiting to hear what Firestone has to say for themselves. read more

I have had nothing but excellent service from Firestone in Coconut Creek, FL. My girlfriend and I both take our cars there. My brother in law was in town for a few days and when he was leaving his vehicle needed repaired. I called them up and they got him in and on the road. My vehicle was recently in and they were unable to repair due to extensive motor work needed to be done. They worked on the vehicle for over 5 hours and installed new spark plugs. No charges for any of their work. I just had to the pay the towing. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Took my car there and they told me that I needed rotors when I didn't . The management told me there was a special. I got there the employee told me that there was no where in the notes that the manager said it was $99 for brakes then I left for a while I came back and he told me the price was $600 and some dollars. Then I said what are you talking about that's just for back brakes . That was for front and back brakes. Terrible advisor, service and attitude! Have been a Firestone customer for many years, but this location is the worst! For the last 5 years every time I buy tiers the advisor recommends and up sell the alignment. Well I decided to buy their lifetime alignment package on my last visit. Today I spend $1025 in 2 sets of tire. As I picked up the car I asked for the alignment report. "Sr you did not ask for it, we didn't do it". Seriously???? Any advisor on any tire shop should recommend and do an alignment on tire change. It is mechanic 101. Without to mention that the reason I needed 2 tires was because of the misalignment. After going to two different Firestone's to receive a proper alignment, Justin (used to be the manager at this location) gave me a call and told me that this store would be able to do it properly to give them a chance. After a couple of weeks, I schedule and appointment to come in (this location is about a 35 minute drive from me). I called Justin to make sure he would be there, but turns out he no longer works there. He tells me to speak to a gentleman named Brandon, that he would be able to help me without a problem. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted at the door by the staff at the counter. I met with Brandon and discussed my situation and they were ready to help. Brandon went right ahead and put my car on the alignment machine. The man working on the alignment machine was super helpful and explained everything to me. He was very knowledgeable and he went above and beyond. He made sure everything I wanted done was completed and to my liking. I was in shock at how professional they were at this location compared to the other two stores that were a complete disaster and nightmare. Other locations claimed my car was too low to align and this place did it without hesitation whatsoever. I guess they are ones who know to properly align a car. When the car was done they checked me out and asked me if I had any questions. The customer service at this store should set an example to the other two stores I went into where they tried to do no work and send me on my way. This location is a 35 minute drive, but I will make that drive before any other Firestone location touches my vehicle again. read more

Wish I could give it 0 stars! Terrible service. Made an appointment ahead of time for an alignment, was told the day and time I was coming would get me in/out the fastest within an hour. When I showed up, it took them over 20 mins just to see me at the counter and then they laughed when I told them what I was told when I called. Amazing service by Marc!!! There was some miscommunication with my car and They eventually kept the car overnight but they didn't do anything with it. Marc was at the shop and he calmed me down and told me don't worry, he will take of it. Marc remained calm and he kept me calm as well. I trusted he would get it done. Just wanted to write a quick review about the Firestone on Regency Lakes Blvd, Coconut Creek, FL. I have moved to MD and have just had a not so good experience with the Firestone up here on West St. in Annapolis. They are charging me 130 dollars for a diagnostic fee that two past shops that I have used told me is something they would never do. The MD firestone told me it was company policy, but I called another Firestone to check as if I was shopping around and was told that it is NOT company policy and they would not charge me that if used them. To make a long story short I just wanted to take a minute and thank the technicians at Coconut Creek for being honest, keeping their shop clean and providing great customer service for our 2 cars for the past 4 or 5 years. I wish every Firestone location was as honest and efficient as they are. There were two or three times when I went in thinking I would have to spend hundreds of dollars and they told me nothing was needed at the time, never even charged me for looking at it. Including one time when another Firestone in Savannah GA wanted to charge me hundreds when my car got a check engine light on a trip. Upon arriving in Coconut Creek, they told me a simple oil change was needed. Keep up the good work, finding an honest mechanic is not easy. read more

I WAS a long-term Firestone customer who has been quite satisfied with the level of service - until yesterday. Scheduled an appointment and was told to come back in 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Came back close to 2 1/2 hours later and the car had never been moved. I fully understand it may be difficult to find good employees during these difficult times. But the only response was we are trying to get to it. There appeared to be a number of customers ahead of me who did not schedule appointments. Maybe I'm crazy but it seems that customers who take the time to schedule an appointment should be given some kind of priority over walk-ins. And, why schedule appointments if it is going to take 3 to 4 hours to get to the work? A number of customers in the lobby were so frustrated by the lack of responses they just walked out in total frustration - including myself. Base upon this experience, will not go back to Firestone. Made me think if management can't create a satisfactory experience in the scheduling process and effectively deal with customers frustrations, this has got to reflect on the quality of work - or the "un-quality" of work on the cars. It left me wondering, "Do I really want to entrust my care - especially the brakes - with this kind of crap management? I have lost confidence in the ability of Firestone to do good work and they certainly do not know how to deal effectively with customers. Would suggest going else where. I took my car in for an oil change, and tire rotation about a month ago. This was not an issue regarding length of time I waited or anything related to why I initially took my car in. About 45 minutes into waiting a technician comes out and says there is a nail in one of my tires and ask if I want them to patch it up. I knew this would be a few extra dollars, but was not expecting 30 dollars. When j read the receipt I saw they charged for labor twice for one tire patch service. Next they mentioned my air filter was dirty and said it would be 50 dollars if I wanted them to clean it/replace it? Are you kidding I was highly disgusted of how stupid Firestone thought I was. A replacement air filter is 15 dollars and takes 1 minute to install. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for an oil change at noon. Walked in right at noon and was told I would possibly have to leave my car overnight because there were "21 cars ahead of me", um ok? I explained I had to go somewhere in the morning and could leave my car until the end of the day. Three hours go by and we call to ask when the car would be ready. I was told there were two cars ahead of mine and it would be finished in an hour. An hour and a half later.... no call. I called again and was told they were about to work on it, and it would be done by 6. All of this for an OIL CHANGE. I arrived to pick up my car at 5:45 PM and the man at the desk was super rude. couldn't find my keys or my bill, or the person who worked on my car. He kept repeating how horrible his day was and how mine must have been better because I "wasn't at work like he was", Finally paid and left. I noticed my car was still in the same spot where I parked it when I got there at noon. Sure enough when I turned my car on, the change oil light and low tire pressure lights were still on and it was apparent that no one had even worked on my car. The next morning I got a call from someone at the shop confirming my suspicions. So, not only was I inconvenienced my entire Saturday afternoon, I had to return to get the services which i ALREADY PAID FOR on Sunday morning. Just had some major work done here and am very happy with the service. I've used this location for almost 5 years and never had a bad experience. The parking lot is always full, the staff is friendly and they will take you back to your vehicle and go over everything and show you (unlike most shops) which always makes me feel more comfortable. I work nearby so I tend to leave my vehicle because its sometimes a wait. But worth it to know its done right. When I first walked into this place, there was a woman who was mad and loudly arguing with the employees. I thought to myself, wow that's really unnecessary. After trying to do business with this place, she was justified. I went to this firestone because I had a nail in my tire and needed it patched. They took a look at it and said that the nail was too close to the sidewall and my tread was pretty low so I should probably just get a new tire. I knew they were trying to upsell me but I just wanted the problem fixed so I said sure, whatever, I'll get a new tire. They write down my tire size and said they'll have the replacement tire in a couple days. They called me a couple days later to let me know I could drop my car off. I dropped my car off and waited. They called me three hours later just to tell me that I gave them the wrong tire size and they don't have a tire for my car in stock. The thing is, I never told them a size for my tire. The technician came out to my car and wrote it down. I guess he wrote it down incorrectly and then tried to blame it on me. So I took my car back and drove it to a mom and pop shop who was able to patch my tire in 15 minutes the same day. They also said my tire had plenty of tread left on it. They didn't charge me for the patch but I bought they're shop lunch the next day because I was so grateful. I don't trust this Firestone or their employees and I don't think I will ever come back. read more

Took my car in to get a tire patched, again. I went at 8 when they opened and was told I'd have to leave my car. The guy comes out to check the tire, just eyeball it and he told me I need a new tire. I left a previous review of this place with a similar scenario, only the outcome was different then where I was told I needed four new tires and a filter change. Without removing the tire from the trunk or even checking the inside of the tire, he was able to tell me I need a new tire. I guess with this company, tire services all end with replacing the tire for more money. Oh, and the only reason I'm leaving a review is because I'm currently sitting in another establishment waiting for them to finish patching my tire. It can be done, Firestone! Really an exceptional level of incompetence. Brought my car in at 830am on a Friday because my front right tire would run low on air every week or two. Told the check in clerk I needed a new right front tire. Didn't hear from them by 415 in the afternoon so I called. Was told they had my car in the bay now and that he thought they'd be able to repair the tire (was a run flat, which I don't think can typically be repaired). Told me he'd call me right back. 530 pm I called again - was told they were working on my quote (remember I brought the car in 9 hours prior). I was told the tire was worn down and needed to be replaced but they don't have a run flat there (I thought firestone was a tire manufacturer?!?). They could order one and it could be placed on the car the following day for $450. I declined, as I cannot condone giving them business with treatment like that. They offered to run down to another tire shop to pick up a tire and would charge only $370 and would have the job completed by 7pm. I again declined for the aforementioned reason. Don't usually write reviews but definitely had to after visiting this "establishment" yesterday. I had a nail in my tire and needed my tire patched. The "lady" at the front desk stated that ALL my tires were bald and I needed 4 new tires and was so nice enough to print out an estimate. At best, two tires will need to be replaced within the next few months with about 1/4 inch treading left. The other two have about 3/4 of an inch on each tire. I went to Nissan expecting to be told the same thing cause you know, "dealers are crooks." The guys there were quite honest. They patched it without issue. I think it's such a shame when even the dealerships are more honest. Firestone, you guys are thieves! I can't imagine just how many people's hard earned money you've managed to swindle. read more
