Went in for a nail in tire. Was told it was a liability to patch. Needed to buy new tire. It was in tread. I have awd which means 4 new tires. Over a nail in tread? Went to tire spot a block away fix in less than 5 minutes for $15. Never even brought up the nail being in a bad spot. Tires fixed and holding air fine. Bad business practice to rip people off especially when I just bought the 4 tires from Firestone a year ago. I will never be back and definitely not recommend them. Robert and the team are the absolute best. Robert Buchanan is the MAN. I called several different Firestone locations about a specific tire, all stated that it was unavailable (which is fine), but none took the time to call me back and offer me a deal as well as work within my budget. The shop was very clean and their service was excellent. I got new tires and the technician even wiped down my car and shined the tires. Robert and the other front sales associates are hard working. I see them helping customers one minute, and the next they are out in the bay getting their hands dirty. Robert was very knowledgeable about the different tires and not once tried to up sell me. This WHOLE shop needs to be recognized for their hard work and effort. Its the little details that leave a mark and retain customers. Had a 9 am appointment here on Sat/27 Sep: - Got there about 8:30 am and they promptly assisted me. They gave me a free ride home & picked me up upon conclusion of my car servicing. - It was about 9(?) am until 3:20 pm to do on my 2008 Honda Fit: a) Replace the shocks & struts to Monroe (which I hear is the best brand), sub-total $1,187.46. Meineke (formerly AutoTech), Goodyear on Sahara, and Firestone on Spring Mountain (independent shop?) quoted me similar prices. b) Oil/filter change, using a synthetic blend (which I guess is better than standard oil), sub-total $19.49. AutoTech used to have Groupons for dirt-cheap 1 year of unlimited oil changes, but no longer has that promo. c) Brake service, using ceramic brake pads (which I hear is the best type), sub-total $332.97 including the 2 x caliper repairs. Since my tires were off Firestone waived the $10 brake inspection fee, called me when they determined my calipers were off (uneven wear), I okayed the repair. I hadn't done any brake work since owning the car from 28k miles to the present 77k miles, so I'm sure Firestone wasn't trying to upsell me an unneeded repair. - Add in the $25 "Shop Supplies," $92.81 in taxes and the final total came out to be $1,658. I Needed my alignment fixed after taking my car back twice to a different location. Apparently not all shops branded with the Firestone name operate the same. Lesson learned. I didn't have a service done here but I spoke to a man on the phone. I have never been treated with so much respect and was not being spoken to down to. If I could bring my car here to be repaired and serviced I would. Firestone has always had amazing customer service when I've gone there for service but to help me when they knew I would be going to the dealer more than likely is just the icing on the cake. I am very grateful for this Firestone. Last week, we had a pretty bad air leak in one of our tires and we were supposed to head home. The waits at the Firestone on Rainbow Rd, one Goodyear, and the local Costco was more than 2 - 3 hours, but amazingly no wait at this one. Henry was our service representative, was kind and courteous. I did not feel like he was trying to sell us unnecessary things, or scare-tactic us into replacing the tires (they were truly very worn). 40 minutes later, tires rotated and replaced. All-in-all very professional and a great experience. Everything looks very new; the waiting area is indeed clean and air conditioned which is a must for Las Vegas. Free coffee, TV, and toys helped to keep all of the family occupied as we waited. Top notch! read more

Stopped in to have a screw removed form my tire. The employees were attentive, they were able to get me in with a expedient manner. You can tell the employees are engaged and have a focus on the customer. I called and asked if they had a tire for me. My car got a flat and the tire was not salvageable, so I needed only one tire. They said they had it. I am usually skeptical of five star reviews because I think they are from friends or coworkers. I have to say that my experience at this Firestone location blew me away. Sam Oakley greeted me by name, listened to my explanation of what brought me to the store (a failed tire on the I15) and Took care of me in a very courteous manner. I waited for less than an hour while he replaced the faulty tire and put on two new ones. The employees were very informative and I left feeling that Firestone has the best customer service of any tire store. This location just lost a customer. Came by for an oil change and they were busy (as was I) so I made an appointment to come back in an hour and a half. Upon my return the guy who helped me earlier said a technician went home so he didn't think he would get to me. Also while I'm waiting in lobby BOTH remaining technicians were complaining in full earshot of other customers about how they were "too tired" to get to the remaining cars (an oil change and a battery swap). Bunch of bums! Guess what? We're all tired and busy deal with it!! Only reason they got 2 stars is because I'm feeling generous...gonna go home now and tell the kids I'm "too tired" to make them dinner. read more

On Wed I brought my SUV in because of a loud "whirr" sound. I thought it was a belt and these mechanics thought so also. After close examination they knew it wasn't as they first thought and determined it was two pulleys and a belt. They apologized for the delays (had to wait until Thursday for original parts order.) They got the correct parts in, then on Friday notified us, and we took car back and it is all fixed and "purrs like a kitten". Truthfully, I was petrified going in. I already knew that Firestone has a good reputation, but this was my first time buying new tires. The process couldn't have gone more smoothly. From entry to exit, I was thoroughly impressed with the entire staff. They are qualified, informed and very kind and extremely helpful. Not to mention, it's a one stop shop... The tires, installation, alignment, balance, mount and warranties were all in one ticket; and the wait time was very do-able. This is the best place in Las Vegas to get you car serviced! Both of our cars were taken care of there and they somehow always charged us a little less than it was quoted. I normally dont write reviews but I thought this might save someone from getting ripped off. I called Firestone to get an estimate on how much it might be to change the radiator on my 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser. After being spoken to like a child, I was told it would be about $680 to replace the radiator on my car. My father was a mechanic, so I know that replacing the radiator isn't as easy as just taking the old one out and slapping the new one in. You gotta do a flush, attach the radiator fan to the new one once you get the old one out etc. But $680 seemed pretty high for me. So I called around to a dozen other places in Vegas: Pep Boys, Meineke, Jack&Sons, Midas etc. Everywhere else would do it for no more than $500 (expect Pep Boys for $540.) Maybe they were trying to wring money out of me like everyone else or maybe they thought I was just some clueless girl and I'd pay whatever but Firestone has definitely taken on the scumbag identity for me after this experience. read more

I should be putting down negative stars. I had an appointment at 7am to get my transmission flushed. The manager didn't even show up until 740am. I asked her what happened she said I'm the manager I have the keys. That's it. No apologies nothing. I went in and let her know what my appointment is for she said "I'm not doing it" I asked her why now she said because "she's not going to pay for a new transmission" she wanted me to get a diagnostic before I got the service that I had already scheduled. I told her no I just want what I made my appointment for. She said "well I'm the manager and I'm not doing it" her name is tabitha. I left and will never be back, I will make sure everyone I know, knows about the horrible customer service that was given to me. read more

I have used Firestone for many years and on many of the cars I have owned and always had consistent service and all of the workers have been professional, until I stopped into this location for an oil change and to check my car for leaks (as the power steering was clearly leaking) and hopefully get the leak fixed. I also wanted to check one of the tires for a leak (Firestone tires) and get them rotated which is free because I purchased them through Firestone. I got there early in the morning and there was only one man in the waiting room who was getting his car worked on. I asked how long it would be for an oil change and to perform the actions mentioned above. The manager assured me it should only take them 45 minutes, which actually seemed quite long but I agreed. While sitting in the waiting room for TWO HOURS I observed my car being "worked on" the entire time, but the manager was clearly occupied with getting a part for an Audi that I did not see in the bay (I am guessing it was his own car?) as he was constantly going and interrupting the mechanics working on my car after talking on the phone to several businesses about this Audi part. So after waiting two hours I was basically scolded for bringing my car in to them with it low on oil as the manager just kept ranting to me that he can't be held responsible for my car (ummm...isn't that why I came in? The oil?) and that there was a nail in my tire so they put a plug in it. So as he is checking me out in the computer and acting like he is angry with me, he pushes these papers towards me and tells me that I need to sign these which state that I can't hold him responsible if anything bad happens to my car.. So, obviously I am very confused and I ask what they found in regards to the leak that I asked about and he just got more angry with me and said "well how are we supposed to know because it is such a mess that we would have to run a bunch of tests because there are so many problems". So yes, in those two hours they had done nothing but allegedly change my oil and plug up my tire (allegedly). I had money to fix my leak and whatever was wrong with my car. And every time I have visited Firestone in the past and gotten an oil change they do an inspection and tell me what's not working and give me estimates on everything or fix it right there. I got none of that...just an angry manager who made me feel awful and a bunch of papers that say I can't sue them if my car blows up. That being said, I would encourage anyone to never stop here. read more

WATCH OUT !!! A COMPLETE SCAM BUSINESS!!! went in for a simple oil change and also asked to have one of my taillights replaced because the bulb had gone out. I left it there overnight and figured it wouldn't be a problem. I get a call a couple hours later that there is something wrong with my electrical system and they can't figure it out without doing a diagnostic and that it might take a couple hours labor to resolve. Also, there is an issue with the fluid in my brake line and I have to replace the entire braking system. Pads, rotors and flush the entire system for only $1000.00. I decline and just have them change my oil. I then tell my friend the issue and they pop my light open, and pull the bulb which is clearly burnt out and plug in a new one. BOOM DONE! I then take the car to another shop asking about my braking system and they say, there isn't a problem at all. I don't even need to change the pads for another couple of thousand miles. Idk how to start this one....umm well unfortunately I dislike the service as far as the staff wasn't to friendly. I took my car in for an oil change and a smog check. I called to make an appointment and was told there is a coupon online for a discount on the oil change. Ok great saves me $10.00. I get there and give the guy (Damn I wish I got his name) my keys, he doesn't even say what he's going to do just walks outside with my keys, then comes back in and asks for my coupon. Well I have it on my phone. No you have to have it. Well you didn't mention I had to print it off and neither did the website(now a days you just show on your phone and there you go) he says well I'll go ahead and give you the discount but next time you need the coupon. Ok.... Now I'm waiting for them to finish with my car. The guy tells me you have a nail in your left rear tire we can't fix it, I'll quote you a price but you should just get a used tire. Umm wtf?! So then I pay, and the guy never tells me the price for the tires just hands me paperwork. Yea to say the least I went to Big O Tires and yes they fixed my tire that had a nail for free! (which to be honest looked like someone just stuck it in there) Will not be going back to this firestone. Very disappointed in the service. read more

I came here after a few other tire shops just couldn't seem to get rid of the heavy vibration of my new aftermarket wheels / tires noticeable at any speed over 65mph. The wheels / tires were larger than the OEM on the F-Sport edition, but nothing too crazy and the car was still brand new. Every shops balancer would indicate the tires were on point, so I was starting to think it was coming from the spindles or hubs on the car's drivetrain. This is odd with a new car, so I insisted they balance the tires with forced weight as if they were still mounted on the car. I remembered seeing this it at a trade show where it could get a more accurate reading by actually applying pressure to the tire equivalent to the displaced weight of the car like it was riding on the highway at high speeds.After a bit of research, I found it on the Hunter website and from there it showed what shops in Las Vegas close to me that actually had the Hunter GSP 9700 Road Force Touch installed. Knowing they run about $15K I was not surprised to see most at luxury car dealerships service centers, but I was surprised to see this Firestone location had one of the 3 in the city. That's where I found myself driving quickly to this Firestone shop andirons inquiring how they had one, they said most new store locations will get one installed. I was sure this was the answer, but just in case I opted for the lifetime balancing price which is very reasonable. They had to actually dismount one of the tires according to the computer and once it was remounted along with the other 3, I was good to go. Their report showed all tires were off quite a bit prior to the balance when the other ship said tires were perfectl. I immediately test drove it on the highway and there it was, that smooth ride I remembered, which made me a very satisfied customer to this shop. I will be back and If you are having issues with your tires vibrating, shaking or jumping, let these experts fix you right up. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks guys! read more

No problems or hassels no one trying to upsell you anything you don't need or want. Got the tires on quickly in about an hour and a half. 4 tires aligned and balanced total price 337.00 great deals.
