Joe was amazing!! I work for TIFF's Treats and we take our cars to this Firestone all the time. Other day I was on the highway and got a flat tire as my friend came and changed my flat tire. We switched cars so I could take a my deliveries. And as she was changing my flat tire, I called Firestone and Joe answered. I said I have a huge favor. I am stuck on the side of the road and my friend is putting on the donut on the car and we need it back immediately. Joe said bring it in. We bought tires in July for my wife's BMW, she hit a nasty pothole today, we had the car (no spares on BMW) towed to Firestone, they got the car at 3:00 and was finished with replaced tire on road hazard, at 5:30, with front end alignment (we have life time alignments). My teenage daughter got a nail in her tire and went here since it was a Sunday and many other places were closed. She called and they said they were open so she drove 15 minutes to get there. When she arrived She was told they were closing in 20 minutes and wouldn't fix her tire. Horrible customer service. Why even say you're open for business on the phone and have her drive all the way there? Who would have thought that Walmart would have better service. She took it there and they fixed it immediately. And for the business owner who responds to these negative reviews: I've read several of them and if you're so sorry then why don't you fix the problem and demand better customer service from your employees!! Don't come here. Front desk is a smart ass and the mechanics are idiots. One of the mechanics I told that they have to jump over the seat because of my door handle on the drivers side doesn't open. I wish I could give Zero star for these ZERO service center. Went for my accord car inspection and they failed it saying the tint was too dark. The same center passed the same car inspection previous two years and nothing changed but the same fellas failed it. When asked they said it depends on the guy who inspects the car. The front desk was responding as if he doesn't give a sh**t. Worst customer service and I had to search for a tint place, fix the tint and then came back, the same guys made me wait for 45mins+ and passed it. They charged me $25 and the entire process took my entire half day. This year, I did some research and found best place right next this place called Meineke car care center. I felt silly after knowing how I missed this place. Meineke guys took care of my car very well and I would highly recommend meineke over FS 1000 time more. read more

Waited 3 days for an alignment 9 am today JASON said no alignments for 3 days of more broken rack? The service has really been horrible the past 2.5 years. I've had several instances but they didn't do services I asked him to do like check my alignment, top off fluids and other things. Then I go home and check in the fluids aren't filled even though they told me they topped them off. This is happening more than one time. Got a quote for Honda Odyssey replacing the original rear brake pads, resurfacing the rotors, and making sure the brake lines were bleed as the petal was a little soft. Rep said that it is $500 even though there was no other problems. That's more expensive than the dealership! Went to another good shop and got everything done with their best lifetime warranty pads for $250. Like most things, finding an honest tech/service advisor/shop is the key, and sadly the hard part! So today I walked into Firestone and asked if they could do an alignment. I was promptly told with attitude that they couldn't do anything for me today. I asked if I would be able to bring it in tomorrow, again told no with attitude. I asked if I would make an appointment for tomorrow and was again rudely told no. He is very rude, crass, and talks down to you as if you're not important to their business, and should not be working on the front lines of this store. RUNNNNN! My fiancé (he took my car for me) was charged almost $80 for a state inspection (which they DIDNT do) and an oil change that NEVER happened. Didn't pick up it until I went to the Collin County Tax Office to pick up my inspection sticker! In the same beat, there was a woman complaining that she paid $400 for her brakes and rotors to be changed and after... leaving a few days later ... her car wasn't stopping properly ... she took it elsewhere, come to find out they hadn't been touched! If I could go lower I would. I pulled up unknowingly that I had a flat tire. The worker then told me he couldn't put air in my tire at all nor look at it due to me driving on the tire while flat. I got a lifetime alignment warranty and have had my truck aligned 4 times in 5 months. Yesterday when I went in with a flat tire on our expedition, I was thinking... here we go again, another tire shop saying I needed a new tire and that I'd probably have to at least buy 2 new tires to keep everything balanced. To my surprise they didn't try and sell or upswell anything, they just patched it up in a few minutes and sent me on my way. They were all very nice, efficient, and not pushy at all. I made an appointment for 11:30am for an oil change. I got there at 11:15am the took all my Information and my car keys and I left to walk around. I came back around 12:45pM and my car was not even look at. Finally at 1pm they take my car for service and I sat near the window to watch everything the mechanic was doing. I ask for a total car inspection (which is complementary) and it was not done. The mechanic did not check the brakes, windshiled water was not filled, left the top part of the break fluid unassembled. When I finally got the car they didn't even went thru the process of the condition of the car they justt charge me and gave me the invoice. Come on after waiting 2.5 hr for my car and charging $65 I would expect a better service. By far the worst experience I ever had for car service, not coming back. read more

This is our second experience with same issue. Made an appointment online and dropped the vehicle off for an inspection and oil change so we didn't have to wait around - in particular with COVID. 4 hours later I called because I'd heard nothing and the vehicle hadn't even been taken back. Worst Customer Service ever! I came in reporting that my tire is reporting low and need to get it replaced. I am quoted a price that is 3x the price that i'm getting online. The tire that I have concern about Gene B states that this tire isn't the concern and to not worry about this. He then states that I will have to get 4 alignments and when I ask him to explain he says don't worry about it leave it to the experts. He never addressed the issue of the one tire and instead wants to replace the 3 tires that might need to be replaced but they aren't flat at this moment! read more

Came in for tire repair for a rental car that I was using through hertz aroundand they where unable to figure out how to get approval to repair tire, after calling between both companies was able to get a PO and a service number for them on my break time they called back and gave up on me and said "we can't figure out how to bill this your gonna have to come pick it up", came back got the keys from them and left disappointed. read more

Ok. I gave Firestone one more chance and it didn't work out so well. I needed a tire replaced on a Saturday. I called Firestone and asked if they had my tire in stock and was told "sure no problem". Then asked if they could get me in same day and said "sure no problem". When I arrived they did not have the tire in stock and tried to sell me another tire. I was trying not to mix and match tires. One of the employees told me my tire had been discontinued, if that were true why was I told they had it??? Not sure if this Is a standard practice to get people to come in and then hope the customer says "oh well since I'm here might as well for it". To me this is a bad practice to get the customer to come in either as bait and switch or just incompetence. I'm now a NTB customer. read more

My girlfriend took in her car today to get a state inspection. She had stated that it almost seemed like she was getting talked down to. almost like a baby talk by one of the techs. when she got a phone call from them they stated that the inspection had failed due to multiple reasons and that the cost was going to be over a grand. When i showed up with her to firestone the changed there statement to "oh it only just the front tires". Seems like someone trying to get some commission money. Granted the front tires are bad, but the fact the tone switched up once a male presence was there makes me wonder how many people they tried to screw over. They still charge over $50 compared to discount for tires. I do not suggest this place for inspection. they may be good people, but this experience makes me think they are trash. read more

I contacted Firestone about 7:30 this morning to see if there were any appointment available for a tire service. I purchased my set of tires from Firestone and am still under a warranty. With my tires still being under warranty I naturally want to return to wear they were purchased. The employee who answered the phone state that they had many appointment available and asked what time I wanted to bring it in. I opted for 11am. At 11am, I dropped my car and was told they would contact me after determining what the issues were with my tire. I was then was picked up by an Uber to return to work. At 2pm, I contacted the location for the status of my vehicle. I was told by the employee that I was next in line. For me that was no problem because I had another 2 hour or so of work. I arrived via Uber exactly a 4pm to see my car in the same place I left it. 5 hours later there was no communication, no tire maintenance with no explanation. The only thing the manager could say was "I'm sorry" and that they could work on it at the moment. The moment that I no longer had time to wait. I am very disappointed in how my time and uber money was wasted due to their lack of customer service, communication and managerial skills. read more

This Firestone location is one of the best auto repair places in McKinney. Unlike many other similar businesses in the area, the gentleman that work at this Firestone never overcharge you, never try and upsell you, and always try and make sure you are getting the best deal for your money. I have come here numerous times for tire replacement, and they always try to talk me out of buying four tires when I only need one new one. I used to use this location as a "second opinion" to my regular NTB, until the third or fourth time they saved me upwards of $200 for a part I didn't need. The staff is always friendly and always do their best to explain exactly what they are doing and why it is necessary, especially for larger purchases. read more

When I drop my car off here, I don't want to mention certain things because they'll try to scam you. Never a clean simple transaction with them. They charged me for an oil change and didn't do the service. I took my car in to get two things done, one of them was an oil change. I pick my car up, paid and drove home. The next day I noticed my car was really loud and realized they had never actually changed my oil even know they had charged me. I took it back and they said, "oh yeah, sorry we can do that now." I was fuming but stayed composed. They were not apologetic at all and offered me no incentive to ever return to this store again.
