Horrible experience! We went in looking to buy a car and left extremely frustrated. The salesperson was nice but knew literally nothing about the car and wasn't able to tell us anything about it. He kept saying "I'll have to check on that" but never gave us any answers. We ended up reading and figuring things out on our own. Then they insisted on getting all of our personal information, including references, before giving us a price on the vehicle. When the manager came over, he was extremely rude and abrasive. We had to ask several times to get our car keys back after giving them the keys to our car to look at a possible trade in. I don't appreciate being held hostage while you continue to try to sell me on your price. What a waste of 2.5 hours! There are plenty of other dealerships that will treat you better then 1st Kia will. We ended up going to another dealership in Glendale and bought our car from them. In Glendale, the salesperson had a wealth of information about the car that the one at 1st Kia should have know! I will never make the mistake of going to 1st Kia of Simi Valley again! read more

The salesman, Corey, was helpful and honest. The selection of colors and variety of vehicles with the different features was at a minimum. But we found one for us. The closer was rude when I explained that I needed to head home and speak with my wife. He literally snatch documents from my hands and threw them to the salesman. After I called him on that nonsense he apologized and then came back with a "final" offer which made the deal happen. The transaction was done because the final price was right for me and my family and the fact that Corey the salesman was good to us. Got an engine replaced under warranty. They said it would take a few weeks maybe a month. I received it back in a few days. A couple months later i get a rattling sound so i try to schedule a service, called 3 times, left messages and got no return call. I too my car to another KIA dealership and the said engine had a missing bolt, a wrong size bolt and missing manifold mounting bolt. First kia was notifies and the response was "the service was months ago and how do we know it was us?" Like i have tome to sabotage my on ish! read more

Went in multiple times to lease a plugin Niro based on advertised price on their website. Each time they would not honor the MSRP saying it was for a limited time or they would add accessories and charges and bump up the MSRP. Sales guy Mark would run back and forth to his manager and come up with the same offers with different sneaky deals rolled in. I wanted to stay local and get something from a local dealership.Finally gave up and got it from another dealership. Stay away from these jokers if you have good credit,know the prices and can read through the add-ons they put on the MSRP. read more

We told he we told him we were still undecided and we had a few questions about a specific car. He was more then happy to help us, he spent about 30-40 minutes talking to us and showing us the differences in the cars we were looking at. We appreciated this, it cleared many things up for us. We left, there was no pressure at all!! He gave us his card and said when you are ready give me a call. That's what we did! We called him to let him know we were on our way, and he met us when we got there. Iwas going to get fianced from the same company I used before- for no reason they wanted to loan me less money and higher interest rate. Kia was able to get me financed and lower my interest rate. I can't say enough good things about 1st Kia of Simi Valley. I was referred to this facility by a outside auto service. He said my battery needed to be replaced and it should still be under warranty. At 8AM I showed up for my appointment. I was directed into service by a gentleman outside. I was next greeted by Robyn, the cashier, that introduced me to Justin, my service adviser. I don't like leaving negative reviews. As a small business owner, and having worked in customer service myself, I know how impactful reviews can be to your business and I do not post negative reviews lightly. However, I have had the worst experience I've ever had with a local business at First Kia of Simi. We purchased our 2017 Hyundai from them in October and also purchased an extended warranty at that time. We were not informed that they would not honor the warranty at the dealership. (I don't know how this is legal, but we will be looking into this with an attorney.) The check engine light had been coming on intermittently for the past few weeks, and then finally came on and stayed on. I made an appointment for a diagnostic appointment and waited three weeks, with my car sitting in the driveway, afraid to drive it. When I dropped off the vehicle, I was treated rudely by the service staff and told they do not repair Hyundais, even though a Hyundai Sonata was in the service bay ahead of me. Even though we purchased our Hyundai from them. Even though we purchased the *warranty* through them. An hour or so later, the service manager called my husband and informed him that they would not do any repairs on our vehicle, since they only service Kias. We were never told this information during the buying process. Ever. Do not do business with First Kia. They are not honest. read more

I've never felt more humiliated by a car dealership in my life. I inquired about a vehicle I saw online, the woman who was talking with me on the phone (Margarita) stated she was transferring me over to sales manager and WOW. The sales manager must have picked up the phone without knowing and was actually talking Sh** about talking to me on the phone (I believe his name was Johnny). When I confronted him about hearing his conversation, he scoffed and just hung up the phone. I fully intended on buying a vehicle here due to me being a first responder in the area and wanting to give them my support.
