I bought a vehicle that had a bad head lamp assembly. At the time of purchase, they wrote into the contract they would replace the head lamp. I contacted them twice, and they have yet to call me back. So first I wrote the BBB complaint, then I wrote this review. Follow-up: After two weeks and two calls, they did not contact me. The dealer has the prominent BBB logo on their web page, so I got on the BBB website and filled out a complaint. I got a call the next day from the secretary of the owner. They said I will have my part by Monday. I like it when the government works for you :). My issue is now resolved. P.s. The guys who sold me the car gave me the stink-eye when I came in. read more

When they came back with the numbers they told me like 375 with the warranty I told them that was way out of my budget. After being there about 3 hrs I was getting pissed I told them I needed a day to think about it. MIKE'S EXACT WORDS " I DONT KNOW WHY YOU NEED A DAY TO THINK ABOUT IT WE HAVE EVERYTHING SET IN STONE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, WE HAD TO JUMP THROUGH SO MANY HOOPS TO GET YOU APPROVED AND EVERYTHING IS READY TO GO" Not to mention when I asked for a car fax report I had to ask like 10x just to get it, they were trying to make me sign their paper for their nothing ass deal. We were basically promised a car. and that promise was not delivered. we were told that we had gotten approved for a loan which was great. about 3 weeks later, i get a call from Jeremy (salesperson) who tells me that our tabs and license plates have arrived and are ready to be picked up. four days later i get a call from juan, who tells me that the bank denied the loan and we need to bring the car back. Instead of waiting for us to bring the car back the car was repo'd that same night. smh.they claimed they tried to contact both my husband and i several times, which is not true because I even went as far as getting a printout of my call log for that whole month from my phone company to verify this. Once I finally got in for an appointment I was in and out in about a half hour. The service department manager took my car right away and had it back to me before I could even settle in. I was expecting an all day affair and was pleasantly surprised at the speed of service. He explained to me what the issue was and what he did to fix it without me asking. I got a follow up call from John to be sure the issue was resolved and he even offered me a complimentary service. Despite the frustrating situation, I am still recommending this dealership over any thay I've dealt with before. This was by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had. You walk in the door and see nothing but smiles and roses, but then as soon as you're not looking, they look for ways to screw you over. I made specific agreements with my salesman to have certain things fixed with the driveability and maintenance lights found on the dash. I'm not a hard person to please when it comes to vehicles, afterall, I am a mechanic myself. I don't have a problem tinkering with things later on if I have to. But due to the arrangements made, I was leaving all of the issues talked about up to the dealership and their service team. A couple days after purchasing my Avalanche, I noticed my braking power was weak and realized my rear brakes were seized and weren't working at all. Then I took my vehicle to their shop and they complained about having to replace them because they were spending so much money. During that inspection, the tech found that one of the tires had tread separation which could have been causing the shaking issue I was experiencing and could cause a blowout later on down the line. They replaced two tires and rebalanced all of the wheels. The shaking of the vehicle at 40+ mph was still there almost a month after buying the vehicle and countless efforts to contact the dealer to have it looked at more in depth and fixed before it causes more issues. I needed it fixed before driving out of town this weekend so I ended up fixing the shaking on my own. Still, the TPMS sensor light is still on (tire pressures are correct) and my back up sensors don't work and is causing a permanent malfunction light on my guage cluster. All of these issues were discussed and promised to me that they would be fixed for me to purchase a vehicle more than twice the price than the one I had originally went there to look at. Come to find out, my salesman didn't put any of our agreements on my contract before I signed it and now they are using that to their benefit saying I bought the vehicle as-is. Why would I buy a vehicle as-is with bad brakes, bad tires, shaking, and maintenance lights on the dash? Every experience dealing with this company has been one disappointment after another. I will not repeat business or refer anyone to step foot on their property. read more

BUYER BEWARE / STAY AWAY We consider ourselves pretty reasonable consumers. We don't judge an entire dealership based on one or two people - we understand that there are rotten apples or people just having a bad day... ....however, the level of unprofessional-ism displayed by SOME of the staff here is unreal. One employee asked my girlfriend to drive down to his house to pickup her license plates........ which were sent out over two weeks ago (they got "lost" in the mail). We've been calling nearly everyday to ask about the status of the plates (the temp was almost expired) and we were given the run-around treatment for a WEEK.. no answers for a WEEK, only for them to tell us that they were "sent" out. You would call them only to be put on hold for 2-3+ minutes, to which they say, "OK , so you were saying...?" and then cut you off AGAIN by putting you on hold .. and then returning 3 min later to transfer you to another person. There's more but I think you get the idea... the actual sales experience was alright, but everything after that? BEWARE OF BUYING A CAR FROM HERE.... I WAS LITERALLY IN TEARS TWICE, WHILE DEALING WITH THEM. They have shady business practices and they got $250 out of me, that is nonrefundable. I had to drive over 200miles to buy the car I wanted, after being approved with a down payment of $1000, I let them know we would be taking the 4hr drive to Seattle to buy the car, they assured me they had many Internet sales and that there was only 1 minor ding (qtr sized) on the car i wanted to buy. They also told me i had to pay $250 fee to hold the car, or it could be sold before my arrival. They didn't say it was nonrefundable, they also told me it would go toward my down payment of the car. I agreed and gave them my card information. Upon my arrival, the first problem was that the ding, was more like ball sized. The Test Drive showed that the speedometer didn't work, the driver side mirror was smoked over and you could not see the items behind you well, the alignment was so far off you had to drive with the steering wheel at 10 o'clock to drive straight. There was a navigation system in the car that didn't work but the screen was stuck on an error message and you couldn't turn it off. Upon further inspection, the Front tires were bald, and the DVD player didn't work and there wasn't a driver manual to figure any of these things out. So they wheeled and dealed, they replaced the front tires, fixed the alignment, fixed the mirror (replaced it with one that was not even the same), dropped the price of the car by $400. They said they could fix the speedometer and if they fixed that last item after one more test drive we would bring it home. Guess what they couldn't fix it. They wanted us to drive it home and then get everything fixed at their expense, but on my time. Long story short they agreed to fix everything, the speedometer, the DVD player, the Navigation system and then deliver it to us by Wednesday (it was a Saturday). Sounds good huh, better than good unbelievable! Whats that saying if it is too good to be true...... But guess what it was all sham. We signed the contracts gave them the check for the down payment (which somehow went from $1000 already approved to $1500, they claimed that they thought i had a trade-in and so they forgot they had figured in the least they would give me for my trade in, funny how they told me that i was approved on the cash down of $1000) signed the CC slip for the $250 (a part of the downpayment) and agreed that these things would be done if not then we wouldn't be held to this contract. During the contract signing they claimed to drop the interest rate percentage (1% lower) to get us to buy the GAP insurance and the Warranty ( i found out it is illegal to not give us the interest rate that the bank had approved). We agreed. But at this point they were no longer actually selling us the car, they were going through the motions and knew they we rent going to do the things they said they were, i know this now because I found out they dint have the authority to drop the interest rate the bank had approved me for. So they were just placating us to get the $250 out of us. Since then i found out that the odometer is also compromised if the speedometer has been. (Because if the speedometer doesn't work, the odometer cant roll over.) I noticed they are still trying to sell this same car with the miles listed same as they were when i tried to buy it, But it is a compromised odometer and they are not supposed dot advertise the miles on it. It did have clean carfax. but it doesn't make any sense that it does, when so much is wrong with it. I was scammed, so avoid being scammed too! read more

I applied on line and soon later I got a phone call from one of the sales reps there. I did not answer, I sent a text asking who it was. He explained who he was and told me I am 100% approved for a $25,000 loan, has the option for 0 down and first payment in 45 days. I began to ask questions, I asked if they already pulled my credit to determine that and he said YES to come down so he can get me into a car. I made it clear I needed the 0 down and he said yes and made me an appointment. Thank God I got all this on text message so I have PROOF I was lied to. My husband left our child and I over a year ago and distroyed my credit and I thought this was an opportunity to get out of the car my exhusband and I are under, let him have the old car and start over on a new one and start fixing my credit but no, I drove over an hr to find out I needed $2,000 down or a co-signer to get a car. It was all based on my credit. Well if they already pulled my credit, they should have known what it looked like. A bait and trap is what they pulled and I fell for it. They are LIARS and I will not do business with them and I will let be known what they did. Now my credit score is now even lower and I back at square 1. The right thing for them to do is paying the $2,000 down for me and get me into a car but I am sure they will continue with the dishonest "bait and trap." read more

Shady experience. The salesman basically told me the banks would only loan to me specific vehicles. I asked him if all lenders do this. He told me "I have been in the business a long time and with your situation (active chapter 13) you have to meet their parameters". I said okay well I'm going to see if other dealers could put me in the car that I want. He kept sending me texts explaining the guidelines of a 13. Long story short I went to 2 other dealerships and was approved for the exact vehicle I wanted. Of course I texted him that I was approved no problem and financing was quite easy. He did not text back. Maybe he did not see my text. Maybe he could not think of a reply. You can be the judge on that one. Lesson learned. Never again. Wasted my time there. read more

The car we bought broke down (transmission) within a couple of weeks, so we had to have it fixed which costed additional $3,000.00. The sales rep did not pick up the phone when we had to leave a message. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!! My husband and I have been looking for a larger car for our family for months and we finally found 'that car' at FNFL. We live 3 hours away from their location, we were on the phone for hours and days talking to them about the car, getting approved, ect. They sent us pictures showing that the car was in near perfect conditions ( a few dents from parking lots...the usual). Drove up to find that it had been side swiped in places, the door was falling off, the sun glass holder was being held up by a piece of paper wedged in the opening, the middle consul was broken, they promised there was navigation; there was no navigation. My husband was furious and talked to the manager..his response was "Sorry, we at FNFL only worry about the mechanical part of the cars, then the interior, and then maybe the exterior. We, the sales people and managers don't really even know a lot about the car, our computer team is the one who puts up the information and a lot of the time they just guess if it has navigation. It's not our fault you drove three hours to us." My husband spent hours talking to their sales guys making sure this was worth our while since we were driving three hours. We were extremely irate and by the time we got home to go buy the other one we were interested in that one was sold. We are done with this company and DO NOT suggest using them. read more

BUYERS BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP HERE! This outfit uses the KBB logo on their paperwork, but uses faked values for their vehicles. They demand at least 50% more than the fair DEALER value for their vehicles. They are either lying about the mileage when pulling KBB values for their vehicles, or they are outright falsifying information and using the KBB logo. Do not shop here without being armed with the Carfax and the KBB report. My experience the last two days has been unbelievable. We originally went in to look at a BMW which on the surface seemed to be listed at a fair price. After inspecting the vehicle, which had significant severe damage not called out in the ad, we looked at a 2004 Audi A6. The KBB Excellent price from a dealer in the zip code of the dealership was about 4900.00 for the A6, and the Carfax had a negative amount on it (although the carfax was clean and no accidents) of about 200.00. Additionally, which we were willing to ignore when deciding on our starting bid, the check engine light was on which should have dropped the original bid by several hundred dollars, from Excellent to Good. We started the bidding at this number. The "manager" (not our sales guy, whose name I won't mention since he actually was a stand-up guy) came back with 6500.00 if they fix the problem (the code could have been anything from a bad PCV valve to a throttle body), and 5999.00 As-Is, WELL over the fair market value of the car. Do not buy from First National Fleet and Lease! I can't say it any louder! They are scammers! read more

Where do I start? We saw a car we really liked about 6 months ago but decided to wait a little longer before buying a car , so we looked again a few weeks ago and were very surprised to see they still hade the car . We filled out the online application and got a message the next day from Carlos. We called Carlos back right away but he was unavailable so we left a message for him . No call , we called again , no call back . We went through this for over a week before we decide to take the 45 min trip out there , checking to make sure the car was still there ,which it was . We pull in and guess who was standing right there , Carlos ! He said that he had been out for a couple of days . When carlos took my husband in my husband saw his own name and information sitting right on the desk ! Carlos looked up the car we wanted and it said they still had it , but when he went to look for it ,it was nowhere to be found. After standing around for 30 min we found out that another employee from the other lot has had the car and has been using it ( saying he was buying it) Yet still hasn't paid for it which is why it's still listed! Had we just gotten a phone call or had someone else helped us every other time we called asking questions , we would not have wasted our time and gas to go all the way out there for nothing! read more

This place seemed pretty nice at first. When I went on the lot the first time, Darian greeted me and was very kind and helpful. He passed me off to another salesman as an appointment came in (no big deal), and the second salesman was fairly helpful as well. I found a car online that I hoped to go look at on one of the other First National lots, so I left the Aurora location for the day. I came back later after the other car didn't work out (wasn't what I expected, but that's neither here nor there - not the salesman's fault) to look at another car. I test drove and we started the negotiations. But let me add that I told the salesman from the start what my budget was and I couldn't go over budget, no matter what. During negotiations, I kept reminding the salesmen of my budget because they were coming back to me with numbers almost $1500 higher than I had given them. When I told them it wasn't going to work if I couldn't be out the door for my budget, the salesman (can't remember his name) said, "so you seriously think we would sell you this car for that price?", walked back toward the finance office laughing, and while I was still within earshot said "she seriously thinks we'll sell her this." After the first "approval" I recieved a call saying that I wasn't approved at the rate they had given me. I had to return to the lot and sign paperwork a second time. A couple weeks later I recieved a call from the owner threatening to take legal action because I hadn't paid for the car. He made me sound like a THIEF. I had to sign papers a third time. I'm still wondering if a lawyer is going to come knock on my door. It has been the worst experience I have ever had. I wouldn't wish for anyone to go through what I have. Never do any business with them. They sold me a 2009 Dodge Journey. At first I was happy. But had to return the vehicle next day because of the winding noise. Mike Daniels the sales man told me they are going to repair it and it was the alternator that makes the noise. It took 2 weeks to get my car back and when i had it there was a leaking on the engine. Took the vehicle to a friend and have it check and told me 2 valves need to be replace. bomber! I called Mike Daniels again and told him the problem. There were a few rough spots and I found that I did not either deal well with or particularly care for the sales manager BUT I was a novice car buyer and created some of the issues that occurred. Ultimately, I feel that I got a great car - I simply love it! Ahmed is the sales person who I worked with and he was fantastic, very responsive and helpful and I would go back to him again. In the end, the sales manager and I were able to make peace and everyone parted on good terms. Before going into First National Fleet & Lease, I read everyones reviews, I went into the dealership ready for whatever they would throw my way. My first visit, they truly did try and put me in a junker, after rejecting the car, they sent me home overnight in another car. I took the 24 hours I had the car in my possession to have it checked out, it was NOT in good shape, their maintenance team had NOT done any work on it, and everything under the hood had been pressure washed to look nice! Appalled at the facts from my mechanic I went back into the dealership to return the car. They spent an hour trying to get me to look at another handful of clunkers, and once I started saying "Well I'd want to get it checked out before i agree to anything" they started to show me cars worthy of my time and money. "We'll call you with an offer for prices" was the last thing they said to me as I was leaving their dealership that night. I got ONE phone call back, and when I asked for numbers/cost he said "I'll give you a call back with numbers!" It's been two weeks and I never heard back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, unless you are willing to put them in their place and not play their games. They're all VERY nice, have great skills, but are a tad sleezy when it comes to wanting to make money. There are lots of other dealerships that will give credit to just about anyone, who won't try and sell you a POS. That being said, a lot of the other reviewers who bought cars from here and posted NEGATIVE feedback, i feel, didn't do their research. They didn't know what questions to ask, what facts to know, and what the do's and don'ts of buying are. You can't always blame the dealership with some of these problems. I believe a lot of these bad review customers are also to blame. Though the dealership is nice, I didn't end up buying my car from them. If you plan on going in here, make sure to ask at the VERY least these questions: "Can I take it to my mechanic and have them look at it?" if they say no, or say "Uh well yeah we always are okay with that" Consider a different car. Thats typically a sign that they don't think it'd pass the inspection. "Before I get into the car, how much is it, how many miles are on it, and Can I see the carfax report?" ANY dealership that cares about its customers will GLADLY give you the carfax report. They will never hide the miles, or price from you. Also, make sure they don't feed you the "It's hard to find a car that meets your high standards." Take your business elsewhere. Don't ask them questions like "Would you put your children in this car?" because they are going to lie through their teeth. Trust me. read more

Would never go here again! First of all, let me say that I never have left a review on yelp. Heck, I signed up for this website just to leave this review because I feel that strongly about not letting other people get screwed out of their money by this dealership. Last September (2011), I was looking for a used Subaru. Looked all over town and these guys were the only ones in town that had the one that I was looking for with the features I wanted. Was very happy after the test drive and decided to get it. Bad move on my part. About 3 miles off the lot I started noticing problems. Took it to a mechanic a few days later ( when I finally had time) and they told me it needed over $3000 in repairs. Took it back to the dealership and said that I didn't expect a refund but I would like the problems fixed. Aftet keeping me there for 3 hours looking at it, they told me they'd fix it for cost. When I asked them how much that would be they asked me how much I was quoted at the mechanic... What?! Is that how you calculate cost?! I thought this was really shady and decided to take it to a trusted mechanic to have the problems fixed. Over the past year I have had to have an additional $2500 in repairs done to the car. Now almost a year and over $5500 in repairs later I finally have the car I wanted. My $11000 Subaru, however, ended up costing me almost $17000! Trust me. Go somewhere else. read more

This dealership treated me surprisingly well. They gave me a ZERO percent auto loan when nobody, and I mean nobody would touch me for less than 20%. My salesman was great, no pressure at all. I was able to negotiate a better price than they had listed, and again, I got a ZERO percent, short-term auto loan. I would recommend this place to anybody. My only complaint, would be that the rear seat wasn't completely dry from being detailed. I didn't give them an opportunity to fix it, but I'm sure they would have. It really wasn't a big deal to me, since my dog is the only one sitting back there. Otherwise, I bought a great running vehicle, complete with owners manual, and all the maintenance records. I personally had a remarkable experience with this dealership. I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima with about 90K miles. I got a fair price for the vehicle (below blue book) with no price negotiation hassles. About a month after I bought the car, I discovered that it needed a new transmission. I opted not to purchase a warranty when I bought the car, and therefore was of the understanding that First National did not have any legal compensation responsibilities. I did, however, feel that I should at least give them a call and explain the situation since I had only had the car for one month and had put less than 800 miles on it before discovering the defective transmission. I requested to speak directly with one of the owners of the dealership since I spoke with him when I bought the car. After assuring me that he was not aware of the defective transmission when he sold me the car, I was delightfully surprised when he told me that he wanted to help me out. Prior to calling the dealership, I called several mechanics for quotes on a new transmission. The best reliable price that I found on the street was $3,400 (parts and labor) for a transmission with about 20K miles on it. After taking a look at my car, First National offered to replace my transmission for $1,100 OTD. This transmission had 24K miles with a warranty that includes labor should I have any problems with it. I ended up paying about 1/3 of the price that I would have paid had I not called the dealership. They took on part of the cost to assure that I was satisfied. The fact that First National helped me out when they legally were not responsible to displayed honesty and dedication to customer satisfaction. They were sincerely concerned that I had bought a car from them that needed a new transmission, and went above and beyond to make it right. I will return to First National the next time I buy a car, and urge any prospective customers to do the same. read more

Quality: Good Appeal: Poor to fair Service: Excellent The main location is nice and appealing to the eye, the location where I was directed to meet with my salesman was less than desirable. The building is run down, dirty and simply looks shady. Fortunately, it DOES NOT reflect the service I received while purchasing my car. Carlos was a very friendly helpful salesman who made me feel very comfortable. I went about searching for a car by myself, Carlos seemed to recognize that and maintained my boundaries. When I found a car that I loved, they quickly found financing and let me take the car over night before purchasing. There were a few small issues that needed to be fixed with the car, one being the airbag fault light was on. They promised to fix the issues on my list and this was completed as requested, Carlos even came in on his day off to meet me on my day off. Unfortunately, the airbag fault light is on again and the diagnostic testing is going to cost me $100.00 and then the fee to fix the problem. Overall, it was a great experience and I LOVE my new VW Passat. My advise to the owner or manager...clean the small lot up, make it look nice, like you would want your mom buying a car there. Talk about "low-budget and unethical"; the business practiced at First National Autos is both. After an online search I was called by a rep named Fabian. I explained over the phone I was on a limited disability payment less than $900 monthly and my credit score was less than 600. I also told him I had an SUV I could trade in but it was making noise. "Oh, that's not a problem, I'm sure we can get you into something" was Fabian's reply. Speaking with him for a good 20 minutes I told him all truth - about my credit rating, my income level, and my situation; his reply, "That's alright, we can still help you, I've seen it before"; HOPE was once again rekindled when I heard these words. Making sure he knew all my details, I really "qualified" this company prior to setting an appointment. Telling Fabian I didn't want to waste his time or mine OR MY GAS, he again promoted this company as "the place that was ready to help - a dealership that COULD AND WOULD. Then, a few days prior to my appointment, I received another phone call from First National Autos. This time it was a man named Carl who was taking over for Fabian; seems Fabian was "no longer with First National Autos". To cover every base, I again "qualified" this dealership by discussing ALL the same information with Carl that I had discussed with Fabian. Again, I was assured First National Autos could help me get into a vehicle. We rescheduled the appointment to an earlier date and left it at that. Today, March 29, 2016, after emptying personal effects our of my vehicle, I kept the appointment with Carl. When I walked into the smelly, dirty office I was greeted by "DJ" who seemed decent enough. Exchanging pleasantries, he remarked about Fabian (the first salesperson I initially spoke with) and said, "he was too uppity" - I left it alone as I NEEDED a car so felt it not in my best interest to comment on his lack of PROFESSIONALISM. It took less than 10 minutes for "DJ", the salesman helping me for Carl, to disappear behind closed door to figure out my income would not satisfy. Upon returning to his desk, he told me he was sorry they couldn't help me after all. He told me the "income limit" was $1,800.00 monthly. I asked him WHY would two different salespeople, who were aware of my circumstances, tell me First National Autos could help me purchase a car? WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW A WOMAN ON A MEAGER DISABILITY INCOME TO DRIVE 22 MILES ONE WAY TO BE TOLD "NO GO" - WHY WOULD THIS COMPANY ALLOW A DESPERATE WOMAN, WHO'S EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS, DRIVE ALL THE WAY THERE TO BE TURNED DOWN? "DJ" answered with this: "If it were up to me, I'd help you. Not satisfied, I pressed him again: "Why would your company do this knowing my financials didn't meet your criteria? - his reply, "The owner says 'Just get 'em in here',,, maybe they'll have a co-signer". I told both Fabian and Carl I would not have a co-signer. Some owner! No wonder the crew deals in such a way - with a leader like that, the entire company lacks. When the leader lacks INTEGRITY then the company lacks it as well. BUYER BEWARE - FIRST NATIONAL AUTOS IS A SHADY COMPANY RUN BY A BUNCH OF SHADY CHARACTERS WHO COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT THE POOR PEOPLE WHO TURN TO THEM FOR A VEHICLE. I have poor credit because of my age and I really wanted a car. I had been trying to get approved for financing but kept getting denied and I didn't have $12,000 for a car. I went to First National Autos and Ahmed helped me out. At first, it wasn't going to work out because the car payment was too high but then he called me two days and told me that he had been working on it and that he got the price down to something more reasonable for me! I came in a few weeks ago looking for a car but left because I wasn't sure about the monthly payments. However, Darian managed to get me approved with a loan at an affordable cost, and I left with a gorgeous 2014 Toyota corolla.
