Biscuits and Turkey Sausage Gravy with Eggs
    Bill V.

It's hard to call this restaurant a chain... the service was fantastic, the food was freshly prepared and the menu had dozens of options. I've been to several First Watch restaurants and they are always clean and comfortable. Go early! Wait times apply after 9am.

Pros: Delicious food Tasty million dollar bacon Great mixed greens Delicious toast Cons: I have ordered the salmon frittata several times. In the past, the salmon has been finely chopped. The salmon frittata had very large chunks of salmon, which isn't very appealing

The food was amazing & so was the service. I love the healthy options & fresh juices on the menu. Well done First Watch!!

One of my hubs and I favorite breakfast spots! Seriously, everything I have order has been delicious. Some of our favs include millionaire bacon, mimosas, & biscuits and gravy (do not let turkey sausage gravy scare you... it is so good). Their eggs are fresh & cooked to your perfection and their toast (house made bread) is perfect. Also, recently tried the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash...Omgosh!! Go try it & btw you can go online to check-in

Moved to the area a little over a year ago and always wanted to try First Watch but with their hours and our schedule never aligning we never got to go until today. We ordered the million dollar breakfast sandwich and the choose two with the turkey avocado sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. We also got the dragon fruit drink, the honey cruch iced coffee, and the salted caramel doughnuts. Drinks were very good. Food was good except my order was wrong they gave me the Cobb salad and when I told our waitress the issue and the mistake and all she said was that she could bring me some chicken for the salad. I declined because we were already done eating and I didnt see the point of the chicken when they were two completely different Salads and toppings. I don't like blue cheese which was all over my salad so I picked around it and ate what I could and my half sandwich. Other than that the experience was good. Just disappointed and not the happiest with the resolution.

    Gray scrambled eggs

This was my first and last trip to First Watch. My order was take out which was scrambled eggs, sausage, and a pumpkin pancake. The eggs were GRAY! I have never seen gray scrambled eggs before. They were definitely not fresh and I ended up having to throw them away.

    Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl

Awesome service as usual. I went here for my birthday and got the quinoa bowl and my husband got the traditional breakfast. We also got the muffin of the day (orange cranberry muffin). I don't really care for orange cranberry but this muffin is an exception. It had the right amount of acidity and sweetness; a perfect companion for a hot cup of coffee. The quinoa bowl was okay. I would say I prefer the chicken pesto quinoa bowl as I felt the one I ordered lacked flavor. As always--We loved the potatoes and toast paired with their jam. I don't remember if the jam is homemade, but I love that it was not too sweet and it blended well with the whipped butter. Restaurant is very baby-friendly. It is a very busy/noisy restaurant (which is actually a plus for us, considering our circumstance--our 15 month old is easily entertained with busy places), but the busy-ness did not really get in the way of the quality and timeliness of service.

    Cereal Milk cocktail

Today was my first day trying out First Watch. I've been wanting to come for a while but would always just end up eating somewhere that was closer to me instead. I had the Chikichanga which was a burrito essentially with chicken, chorizo, eggs, avocado, and onions. I'm literally drooling on myself right now thinking about it. Lol I also had a cocktail called Cereal Milk which was great as well. I usually don't like coffee mixed drinks but this was a cold drink which I think made it better than from when I've had a hot one before. The atmosphere is very casual. It was busy when I went because it was the day after Derby but we only had to wait for about ten minutes before being seated which was great. Will definitely come again! The prices are pretty decent as well.

Sundays are so busy. Luckily, we missed the church crowd. We got seated pretty quickly too because of the call ahead option that they have on certain apps, but we still had to squeeze five people in a four person table, which was no big deal. The service was fine. They were obviously super busy. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were just okay. It honestly tasted my like my biscuits and gravy so I'm not super impressed with it; it didn't wow me. My entire meal tasted like something I would normally make, which is the only disappointing part. If I'm ever at another first watch location again, I would definitely get something else.

Trifecta with side of spiced potatoes.

I really dig the retro looking semi-circular table you can sit at and that also even have their own bar as they do serve cocktails such as a Bloody Mary. Our server was very nice at welcoming us and letting us know all about the menu, which has a really great selection of breakfast items from omelets to Benedict's and pancakes among the many other options to choose from. I decided to go with their Carolina Casserole which is one of their listed Signature Creations and boy oh boy was it delicious! Every single bite was full of flavor and one thing I really appreciated was the portion size was not at all overwhelming and just right. We were consistently asked if we needed anything at all and always made sure that we were taken care of which is something I'm very big on. The food came out very fast and exactly as I had ordered. I had absolutely no issues at all on this visit and it is absolutely a place I'll be coming back to and one that if you're looking for a great breakfast it's lots of options and a very friendly staff this is definitely a place you should check out.

The restaurant has a back parking lot and on street parking - the restaurant is quite large with two indoor seating areas and outdoor patio seating. The menu is large with a big brunch menu, lunch and entree options and kid's menu. We started with the s'mores hot chocolate and apple cider mimosas. The hot chocolate was pipping hot and delicious topped with toasted marshmallows. The apple cider mimosas had a weird flavor, I would recommend going with another fruit juice option. We ordered the kids buttered noodles with waffle on the side - big wide noodles that were swimming in butter. My son thought it was too much butter but loved the type of noodles. The waffle was good - not very sweet but he enjoyed it. My daughter loved the chicken and waffles entree, but I thought the portion was a bit small for an adult entree. The chicken was freshly breaded but the waffle was on the smaller side. The sandwiches and soups were delicious - we had the club which was filled with ham and turkey and the perfect amount of mayo. The tomato soup was creamy and so satisfying. The Ruben was a good size and stuffed with corned beef and melty cheese! Overall we had a great experience- a bit on the pricey side.
