Service was fast and great, the staff was upbeat and polite. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere inside, the restaurant was moderately busy yet quiet and pleasant. We ordered Salmon Benedict, Farmhouse Hash (bacon, potatoes, avocados, onions) with scrambled eggs, and Frittata Rustica, along with decaf coffee. Food was fantastic, from presentation, flavors, to how quickly everything came out. I appreciate that they bring you a carafe of coffee to your table, and they refill the carafe in a timely manner. Ashley and I frequent First Watch a lot and every time she recognizes us. The ambiance was top tier as well. We arrived at 9 o'clock, so we were able to sit at the patio. Never heard of this place before today. My wife told me we were going to breakfast so I assumed IHOP or Denny's but she told me no we are going to first watch! Plenty of parking since in a strip mall, building looks nice and inside decor was fresh and new looking. Not to noisy, but we were also early and they were about half full. Plenty of staff, and everyone was hustling around and taking care of customers. Didn't take temps, didn't wear gloves but social distancing was in effect and everyone wore masks. No condiments on table as the wait staff brings whatever you ask for in small one time use containers which is great. I ordered eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it was 8 out of 10 stars and the only reason I say 8 is that one of my yokes was solid so when I cut into it no yoke ran out... But all the flavor and appearance was there. See pic attached. My wife ordered the tri-Athlete and it was 8 out of 10, the only complaint my wife stated was they didn't put any butter on the toast so it was dry but her dish included jam so she sad it wasn't a big deal. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and made sure we got whatever we needed. When the waitress brought us our coffee she left a pot on the table for refills and it was fresh and hot. We will go back again for sure, way better than IHOP or Denny's and I need to try the avocado toast. This is probably one of my favorite brunch spots! I love getting the farmhouse skillet hash and the million dollar bacon. The skillet hash is very filling and I almost never finish it because it also comes with a couple of slices of toast with jam and some eggs. I recently tried the chocolate chip pancakes. Not realizing how huge the size of the pancakes were, I asked for 2. And let me tell you, they are HUGE. They take up an entire size of a large plate. I get hesitant about trying new age/modern restaurants. The beauty of the venue is often better than the quality of the food. This establishment has both! I came here early in the morning and it was nice and quiet. I started off with a morning meditation fresh juice and it was so good! This juice is organic, yet sweet. I also had the Market Hash and it was everything I love about breakfast. Toast with butter, eggs, potatoes, and fresh fruits & veggies. That's exactly what I needed after my morning workout. My wife and I were craving some good breakfast right before we headed to bed, so I promised to take her out after my workout in the morning. The promise was fulfilled by heading to First Watch, the closes thing we have around that serves the quality or quantity, besides the typical IHOP or Denny's. Seat time was minimal; that's probably because we beat the church crowd and arrived before 10 am. Our server ( don't it's PC to call them waiters or waitresses anymore) ... lol. Anyways she Was attentive and pleasant. She mentioned additional specialties on a separate menu, where my wife ordered from. We started our breakfast with Pomegranate Sunrise (Camarena Tequila, pomegranate, fresh lime, and agave nectar) and Watermelon wake-up. Both are refreshing drinks. Our breakfast meal came in no time. I had The Trifecta - in-house to have a banana and nuts pancake with a poached egg. They overcooked the first batch but got it right with a replacement. My son had the BARBACOA QUESADILLA BENEDICT, and my wife had The Works. We were all delighted with our dishes and content with the quantity. Head over to First Watch if you're hungry for some good breakfast and want to get away from the assembly line breakfast. I would give it 5 stars if they got the poached eggs that right. I love First Watch and it has been one of my favorite brunch spots ever! Their OG menu items are delicious! But unfortunately their seasonal menu is a big flop in my opinion. I had the barbacoa quesadilla Benedict and I was skeptical to try it but I wanted to taste it. It tastes like an enchilada and the cheese that it has on the top was not it. The meat also had no taste and the salsa that they put on top does not taste good. Overall I would never get this plate again . I don't know why it's called a quesadilla given it does not looks and does not taste like one. Even though my main plate was not great I will say the pumpkin pancake is AMAZING! Fluffy and full of flavor! My husband and I shared it and it was just delicious! I also gave it a 3 star rating because my husband and I were seated at the back closer to the kitchen and it was extremely loud. This was me and my husband's first time at this restaurant and for the most part we enjoyed it. The food was delicious but wasn't hot enough. My Turkey sausage was over cooked & cold. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The noise level was loud and busy but not too bad. I would have given a 5 star rating if the floor where we were seated wasn't so greasy and full of bacon crumbs. This made the level of comfort a bit uneasy for us. We couldn't get fully comfortable as we were eating our food and feeling the bacon crumbs underneath our shoes and the grease from the bacon making our shoes slide across the floor. Hopefully, in the future they will clean the floors thoroughly after each guest before seating the next guest. It's not a pleasant feeling to be seated in someone else's filth. read more

Heard great things about this place and finally gave it a try. Good place to grab brunch if you're in the Cypress area, close to the 290 outlet. Plenty of parking options. On a Saturday our wait time wasn't too bad, around 20 mins, they'll take your number and text when your table is ready. We actually walked next door and realized there wasn't any signal and when we walked back there wasn't even a wait line. Although, the wait for our food was a bit long. Totally would recommend the egg sandwich (thanks for the recommendation from the server!). Bacon was crispy good and egg was runny, it all blended well and tasted good. I had high expectations for the lemon ricotta pancakes, I would say it was alright - I did like the fluffiness of the pancake but I would probably try something else next time. It was too 'lemony' for me. Orange juice was fresh and good. They have a lot of healthy options also. I do like all the unique options that isn't overpriced. Not impressed. Everything is fresh and from the organic farm (great idea but everyone is doing it these days and they can make it taste good), but the only thing i am thinking about is the coffee. The coffee is really good! This place is still hopping at 1:30 pm, so the business looks good but maybe we ordered the wrong stuff? My husband know what he likes in his pancakes and it's not pancakes from Firstwatch. I though the plain pancakes were ok, they have a crisp crunch at the edges. Should pancakes be crispy? He had the chickenchunga with this gross yellow sauce on top, he ate it so I guess he liked it, but he didn't like the potatoes it came with. I tasted the potatoes and thought they were ok, except for the ones with that gross yellow sauce. I had the triathlon. Egg whites with a fist full of green chile. There was more green than white in my omelet. Way too many green chilis in the omelet, had to leave spoonfuls behind. I liked the fresh fruit! The toast came with a smidge of jelly. Like they scoop it out for you. I know it is toast but it was hard as the table. I am going to need more jelly to soak my toast in and sofen it up. The table was extremely small for 3 plates, a water pitcher, and a coffee thermos. You pay at the register, not your waitress/waiter. Positive: I didn't get sick. Sometimes I feel sad when you have to try a place to figure out you never want to return, but you have to try it to know. Your welcome other people looking for a place to eat. read more
