Came by to pick an order up...the staff was very attentive and multiple times I was asked if I had been helped. That tells me they care about the people coming into their restaurant. The place looks very nice and clean. The food is delicious, and is definitely cooked to order. Good job!

This place always has such welcoming servers every time I come. I will always and forever order their Kale Tonic because of how refreshing it is. I also truly believe their french toast is in my top places to order french toast BUT I do ask for a few alterations such as adding pecans and powdered sugar which makes it simply devin in my own opinion. Lastly, the ambiance is very homey and down to earth and I do need to mention thai place is small and popular so just consider that when visiting that their may be a wait but I believe it's worth the wait.

We decided to visit this First Watch as we'd never been here before. I'll say I have mixed feelings and wanted to rate a 3, but it wouldn't have matched my individual ratings for Food, Service, and Atmosphere. The food was tasty, well seasoned and came out fast. Unlike other places, they leave the coffee pot so you're not waiting for a refill. However, it did cramp a 2 person table a bit. I was disappointed by the orange juice as it tasted like an off brand Sunny Delight instead of real orange juice. The service was fast and attentive. We were seated right away at 9 am on a Saturday and were checked on multiple times. The atmosphere was quiet and there was enough space between people. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness. I had to watch were I was sitting because my seat was covered with jelly (2 person booth closest to the kitchen). Paying was fast and easy.

Large menu Clean venue Friendly staff Table is set with coffee mugs. A part of me appreciated it as I am a coffee drinker then the other part of me felt that could be a little wasteful as I was the only one at the table drinking coffee. So an unnecessary re-run through the dishwasher. They left the insulated coffee pot at the table which again I had mixed feelings about. I enjoyed the convenience of having right there if I wanted more but I only planned on having one glass so On the other side, it was was unnecessary. We loved they brought a carafe of water so we could refill our own glasses. There are so many delicious sounding items to choose from but we ended up with the trifecta breakfast plate and frittata rustica. Both were delicious! The syrup served warm is a nice touch. If I had one suggestion for improvement- the salad served with the frittata could have benefited from being tossed in the dressing a bit with a tad of salt for flavor. We look forward to going back to First Watch to eat our way through the menu.

The bacon fall special and the pancake fall special. It was giant! They were both sooo good!

Great food and amazingly friendly and attentive service. I feel like everyone is familiar with first watch but if you're not it's a great spot for versatile, delicious and affordable breakfast and brunch they have healthy options and fresh juices and even a variety mixed alcoholic brunch drinks. We did have one small misshap in which we weren't expecting anything it was so small and the manager came over and offered us a coupon. A small town feel that wants you to keep coming back :)

Brunch is my favorite of the meal of the day! With that being said, my standards are pretty high when it comes to breakfast. First Watch has won me over again and again!!! Let's just say when I'm feeling plain and simple on a nice summer day, I go for their iced coffee. When the weather gets a little cooler, their regular black coffee just hits the spot. Out of all honesty, my all time favorite drink is the morning meditation; it's so colorful with a nice blend of orange, lemon, turmeric, and ginger aka all the immunity booster ingredients. I will tell you there's a different mood for every dish. If you're feeling classic, get the trifecta with the Belgian waffle. That waffle is so soft and fluffy. I love pairing this with bacon and 2 sunny side up eggs. For those with a voracious appetite. I would get the farmhouse skillet hash. You will not be disappointed as it has everything delicious - bacon and avocado. The potatoes are well-seasoned and the roasted tomatoes & onions are very tasty. If you're in a healthy and hungry mood, get their Florentine egg benedict. It has the veggies (fresh spinach), protein (poached eggs), and carbs. You are left very satisfied and not overly full. I can probably review their entire menu at this point. They also have a seasonal menu. With fall coming up, I remember when I had their delicious pumpkin spice donuts and elote Mexican street corn hash. Let's just say you're safe to explore the menu as you're bound to find something scrumptious. Oh, you know I'll be back!

Ordered a traditional breakfast with over easy eggs. Eggs were over cooked, so I called and they explained they would give me the correct eggs for the order. Go back only to receive the EXACT same overcooked eggs. For a meal that cost $15 and eggs being fairly easy to cook you wouldn't expect it to be so hard for a spot that specializes in breakfast to make sure they know what the are serving. I will be sure they next time we want breakfast I save myself the time and go to the grocery store read more

Oh my, why have we waited SO long to have breakfast at "First Watch!" We arrived a bit after 9:00am on a Sunday morning and the place was hopping, they were REAL busy but the table were "turning" fast. Diners were not lingering too long and freeing up the tables. After being greeted warmingly by our server, she took our drink orders and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We explained this was our first visit. She went over the menu with us and made some recommendations. What incredible customer service! My wife decided on the steel cut oatmeal breakfast and I decided on a blueberry multi-grain pancake, a side of bacon and two eggs over-easy. As we were enjoying the wonderful coffee, we had a great time watching all the orders being delivered to the tables around us. We kept talking to each other, we must try that and we must try that! After a short wait, our "picture perfect" breakfast entrees were delivered to our table. Our food was wonderful. Our server took excellent care of us while we were there and we never lacked for anything. We always had a hot cup of coffee to enjoy with our meal. We can't wait to come back to First Watch again in the future. We were so full we didn't even have to have lunch that day. read more

What a cute and healthy place to eat. I had never been here so I cane in with a great friend and we had a ball. I had the French toast. Bacon, and eggs. Amazing. Cindy suggested and she was our waitress. She did really good at telling us how to order it for the best bang for our buck. Her customer service was great I was very happy that they kept the coffee jug at our table because I went through it like crazy. The manager came by and laughed with us for a second and I always love that. Check on your people. If you're a healthy eater this is a good place for you. If not...its some good stuff on there for you too. Like the French toast. Ask for suggestions. Awesome menu with healthy options. The serve great stuff for brunch/ breakfast. A great environment to be in. The place gets pretty busy! Just wish t wasn't so expensive but it's healthy greens and fresh food so I gues it's pretty reasonable. The fresh juice are amazingly fresh, I would recommend!! Wow!! Love the food! The lemon ricotta pancakes are my absolute favorite breakfast food now!!! Other pancakes are tasty as well but that lemon ricotta... I will be back soon, found one closer to my house hopefully food is the same. I'll let y'all know, I have 5 more reviews from this week but this taste of Texas needed an expedient review. My waiter was really nice and everything was clean including restrooms! This was our first time At this location. We were very pleased. The wait was short, is all about timing on a Sunday morning. Get there before 10 and usually the wait is no More than a few minutes. The service was very good and the dood was great. Hubby ordered the Trifecta eggs sausage and Belgian waffle. Said it was delicious. I believed him when there was nothing remaining on his plate. I ordered the traditional 2 eggs over medium, ham, and potatoes with whole grain toast and. Eggs were cooked perfectly, ham was really good, toast was great as was the fresh jam . One by academy sports is great All the time never a miss The one in heritage by the Panera this one's a hit or miss sometimes it's great service other times not so much. I LOVE first watch. Love love love. It's so fresh and delicious and always great service. Today was a little less great than usual just because we had to wait super long for our food but our waitress was chipper and sweet and it went by fast. Excellent service and food. I was hesitant to try First Watch again. My last visit before this recent one was years ago and I vowed to never go back. The food tasted cheap and looked and tasted like everything was microwaved. However, I learned they had been bought out by another company since my visit so I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and let me tell you,, HUGE improvement. First Watch is the chain that never feels like a chain. The food is fresh, healthy, and tasty. The service is fast and personable. And the atmosphere is cheerful and open. The first time I came to a First Watch, I really thought is was a one-off. The concept is so progressive and well pulled off it just didn't seem like a corporate-conceived package. We frequent this chain more than any other and i never grow tired of it. She likes the Kale Tonic and other juices. I typically order an omelette or a Frittata. She gets the Frittata Rustica modified to include no dairy (for allergy reasons). Coffee flows freely and is rich and satisfying. We have nothing but positive things to say about First Watch. Everyone we bring here loves it. Highly recommended! read more

Million dollar bacon, lots of health conscious choices, great coffee ... not sure what else this place needs! We love to always try one of their latest juices when we visit. Usually a super unique blend of things. I haven't had one I didn't love. Aside from almost always having to wait for a few minutes, this place is dang near perfect. I appreciate that they have gluten free/gluten friendly options, for those of us with sensitivities. Give it a try! read more

This was my first time here, but I had heard from others how much they enjoy the food. I went today and tried some of their lemon ricotta pancakes. They're very yummy just like a dessert would taste. Only drawback is I really wish I had had some protein so I did get a side of their chicken sausage patties and they were quite flavorful. I give them three stars because they are nice and the food is good when it arrives correctly. I've been twice and waited a long time for my orders both times... and both visits received overdone eggs that were supposed to be over-easy", breakfast 101. I won't bore you with details. Give it a try, just don't come starving and know you may get hard boiled eggs. That's enough that I won't be back. read more

First started visiting First Watch back in St. Louis more than 10 years ago. They have expanded into Dallas and Denver where I live now. So glad. The food is excellent and very innovated menu. The food today was pretty incredible. The service is always great. Today I tried the "Brilliant Beet Toast" with Beet Hummus, goat cheese and pickled onions. What a excellent combination of flavors. This is the best place in town for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and it's always clean. If you stop here to on a Sunday be prepared to wait but it's worth it! We love their fresh made juices, the morning meditation being our favorite but they are all good. My husband is a huge fan of the skillets and omelets. While I haven't found anything I don't like on the menu. My recent favorites being the banana granola pancakes and the avocado toast. My only complaint is that I am a hot tea drinker. The past few visits the hot water tastes like coffee which I have been told repeatedly by the staff that no one should be using the hot water pitchers for coffee. However as we sat down to eat today we were offered coffee out of one of the hot water pitchers. So now I just request a cup of hot water in a mug and skip the pitcher. I know it's a pain for the waitstaff so I tip extra I just can't stand the taste of coffee. Can't wait to return again. read more

Always DELICIOUS and fabulous service. I think everything on the menu has tasted great. I usually get the farm house hash- try it you wont regret it.. but also the omelettes, pancakes, French toast and traditional breakfasts have been outstanding. Seriously I can't think of one thing I have eaten here that hasnt been tasty! I think there is something for everyone and the service is usually fast and friendly. read more

Do not order through the app. I ordered delivery through their app because I am at a sleep clinic and cannot leave. I also have celiac so I can't eat any of the food provided here. Ordered around 7:30am, called to make sure everything would be gluten free and got a call not long after saying that my order was for pickup not delivery. I said I can't go in and I selected delivery so the guy said he would take care of it but to make sure I select delivery next time.(even though I did this time) I called again at 9am and was told that it is a pickup order and it had been sitting since 7:45am and they could offer a refund then they asked for pictures showing it was delivery. Very frustrating because I can't order delivery from there and there are not any other places I know that have gluten free food I trust. They did agree to refund me, but again that doesn't get me my food. read more

My food wasn't great, the cheesy grits weren't very cheesy at all and I wasn't a big fan of the gravy because it didn't seem very flavorful for me. I also got a hot chocolate and while the presentation was nice it was made with water which is always a disappointment. I will be giving this restaurant a second chance though because I was able to walk in on a Saturday morning and get sat with no wait and any breakfast place that serves turkey sausage deserves another try. The menu also has an impressive amount of selections so I imagine anyone can find something they'd like to eat here. Potatoes are good too. read more

Food was delicious, I'm so glad I tried the morning meditation is was so refreshing. The service was a bit lackluster, not sure if they were having an off day but from the hostess to the waitress they had a rushed air about them. The check was given to us and we were never checked on again. We went to the front to pay and again it felt very rushed and impersonal. Otherwise it would have been given 5 stars from me. Food is good but if you can go to anywhere else I highly recommend. You check-in online and ahead of time to still stand in the tiny doorway for 45 minutes to an hour. Plenty of open tables and not enough servers. Servers are also regularly rude and act inconvenienced by customers. We've given this location multiple chances and will not be back. read more

First Watch is a great spot. I've been here multiple times and have had good and bad experiences. Today was a great lunch visit. The service was great, all the staff was very friendly and seated us right away. I had the sweet honey salad (chicken, warm candied nuts, bacon and honey Dijon dressing) I highly recommend! I've been to a First Watch at a different location and wanted to take my family from out of town to try it out. The service was good but the food was sorry this visit. I was embarrassed recommending this place. The seasoned potatoes were a bit raw along with the onions. It wasn't warm and crispy. The eggs benedict were cooked "differently" than what we were use to on an eggs benedict. The yolk was pouched fully so we didn't get to experience the #YolkPorn. We had two different orders and one benedict had prefect crispy ciabatta bread and the other one was cold and soggy. Had placed a take out order to bring home to those that didn't wake up on time and the pancakes were still raw in the middle. When we were at the restaurant, they tried to make it right for us by giving us gift card for next visit. They were all really sweet (that was why I gave this location two stars), the food was just a huge disappointment. read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD. I came here with my friend and her family for a Birthday brunch. I had the Skillet Hash - Parma, my friend had the Chickichanga. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This is my new favorite place, hands down. If anyone ever wants to go eat anywhere for breakfast or brunch - this will be my new go-to place. FOOD Everything was fresh, tasted fresh. I usually eat my hash with ketchup - because it's usually bland. This Skillet hash had so many flavors with all of the veggies, the meat and the egg. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely my favorite breakfast, all time. Even their Iced coffee was perfect, and I am not a big fan of coffee. If you like sweet ice coffee (from starbucks) the Iced coffee would be perfect for you. If you like your coffee black, just get their regular coffee :) ATMOSPHERE/LOCATION/PARKING The place is quite easy to find, it's located next to Academy and it shares parking lot with the Flower shop and a Credit union. It has plenty of Parking spots all around the building. Once you go inside the place, the front area is a bit crowded. There are two stands, one to pay for your meal (on the left) and the hostess stand to get put on the list (on the right). This location DOES HAVE the ability to add your name to the waitlist from Yelp. Just make sure to check in when you arrive :) It's a cute restaurant, about medium sized. Has several tables. Most of them are for 2-4 people. They do have several booths. It can feel a little bit claustrophobic, especially when they are busy. They were packed when we got there around noon. PRICE/SERVICE They do have servers, that come and take your order and bring out your food. Overall the price and the service was great. The only thing that was annoying is, my friend is DEATHLY allergic to pineapples. (She has to carry an epi-pen in case she comes in contact with one). She asked for them to switch out the fruit for the veggies. Instead they left the fruit and switched out the other side for veggies. I don't know if it was a back of house error, or a server error. But I feel like that is something pretty serious that they should be more careful with. (It was an adult this time, but if it was a child?) Other than that, it was an amazing place that I will DEFINITELY be returning to. read more

Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

My hubby and I have been there several time and every time has been an awesome expierance from customer service to their delicious food to the atmosphere absolutely no complains. We love their "works" omelette literally everything in it which you can split with someone else, we also have had their gigantic, fluffy blueberry pancakes and it come with warm syrup, ! But above all I can tell you they use a healthy type of oil when cooking since I don't get the nasty after taste like IHOP and other fast breakfast locations. I do have one suggestion that would just enhance the location is fresh flowers on the table would be the icing on the cake. From a humble critic in the Keller, TX location. read more

I just discovered this restaurant and it's already one of my favorites. It has delicious, hipster food at amazing, affordable prices. I keep getting the same things on the menu, so I haven't tried their most popular dishes yet. I think they have the best chicken salad I have ever had. They have this wonderful artisan bread that is made just for their restaurant, and it is so good. Their avocado toast is amazing! Some of our food was cold when brought out. Coffee was cold and when we asked for hot coffee our server had a attitude so I did not ask for hot food. read more
