    Watermelon Wake-up
    Beryl D.

I visited this location twice now and they never disappoint. And the two times that I visited I have gotten the shrimp and grits and the chickichanga. Both dishes are very delicious and very flavorful. Both times I got the watermelon wake up and it is very refreshing and delicious. My mother has stuck with traditional dishes, like the French toast and the traditional breakfast. My sister joined us one time and got the frittata rustica. We all enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.

I had the Wild Alaskan Salmon Benedict which I enjoyed due to nice flavor of the salmon. The small issue was it was served on sourdough sandwich roll bottoms, with the thick bottom from the baking pan, and a bit stale. I get it that integrating the kitchen ingredients is smart, but not for this plate. The floor plan is economy class also, a lot of small tables & booths. Hopefully your neighbors aren't too loud, or obnoxious. There is a side room partition of small traditional tables. 1 small banquet table is right behind the host desk. Parking is a little cramped in front, better chance parking behind and a short stroll around the north edge of First Watch. The menu has decent variety, and healthy choices. This is right along Preston Road, but the entrances for this shopping plaza are on far ends.

Yes it was to go but it was amazing

The food here is so wholesome and fulfilling! I loved my meal and they got my meal wrong and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.. ever since that day, I always come back! I love to show appreciation when I feel appreciated

The grits were GREAT! I like how they serve coffee by the pot The avocado toast was pretty good. The guac needed more flavor. The watermelon juice was good too

Love love looove this franchise. Ive been to the Frisco, off preston, location and the McKinney on custer and eldorado location and both are exceptional. Same great service and same exquisite food. Everything I've had hasn't disappoint and I always leave happy and full!! Flavorful coffee, amazing mimosas, tasty waffles and pancakes. And the maple bacon is the bomb! So good. It does tend to get a bit full on the weekends but I have never had to wait longer than 20mins. Plus its worth the wait. Check this place out. You wont regret it! Now I am hungry

First watch is a good goto brunch place that's great for dates, families, groups, etc! It's farm housey vibes inside and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I love pretty much everything on that menu but if I had to reccomend my goto is the beef havarti sandwhich and tomato soup, the million dollar bacon, massive pancakes, and any potato hash bowl!

    Ground Turkey Biscuits and Gravy!

Happy Hour Value This review is based on my happy hour…read moreexperiences, and the value is hard to beat. Highlights include: * $10 double cheeseburger with a pickle * $3 East Coast oysters * Half-price drinks, including martinis and wine by the glass Overall, it is an excellent value for a really nice place. Atmosphere and Service The atmosphere and service are impeccable. After more than one visit, the bartenders may recognize you--or at least remember your beverage choices. The Bar Show The best part is the show. The people-watching at the bar is unlike anything else. Happy hour starts at 3:00, but the bar seats are usually full by 2:45. Latecomers often walk in, circle the bar, and leave when they realize there are no seats available. Many guests settle in for the full three hours, which creates its own entertainment. Then come the "watchers," each with a strategy for claiming a seat: * Look for someone nearing the end of a drink. * Watch for guests paying their bill. * Hover nearby, hoping a seat opens up. * Ask someone for a heads-up when they are about to leave. It is surprisingly entertaining, and the occasional bit of staff drama only makes it even better. Bottom Line Either way, it is a great deal for dinner, drinks, and a show, all with amazing service. Show up early--or come prepared with your own strategy.

Our waiter Ruben was probably the best server we've had in years. He knew the food and drinks inside and out, he anticipated our needs and magically showed up with refills before I even knew I needed one. He told us about things on the menu and the restaurant and the services they offer. He was a guide without ever being pushy, he was always there with whatever we needed but was never hovering. Nice kid! I rarely talk to the managers unless something is seriously wrong. In this case I called Tom over to compliment how great the place is. We told him it was our first time in and that the only reason we hadn't been in before was it looked a bit expensive. He did mention they just came up with pick-a-pair for lunch at $14.95. Normally this means skimpy half-portions of stuff but not here. I was in the mood for bacon so I went for the BLT Salad & BLT Sandwich. The dressing was made in house and wonderfully garlicky without being overpowering. The tomatoes were juicy and flavorful, the bread was grilled to perfection, and even the arugula was delicious (and I hate arugula/rocket). My wife got the club with fruit salad as her side. Ruben said they cut the fruit daily. My wife doesn't like strawberries nor pineapple so I got bonus fruit on my salad. She only at half because Firebirds has a crème brûlée cheesecake and we had to split that. While we were there, a nearby table was celebrating and a bunch of waitstaff came out with shakers and martini glasses and poured everyone drinks. Fun and classy at the same time. We joined the loyalty club. No having to check in nor track points, they just send you discounts and free stuff in your birthday. The Jr. Chef club members get a free TShirt, a sundae on your birthday, a kitchen grill tours-makes me wish I was 10. Diverse staff, all happy to be working there, all focused on making sure the customers are happy. I wish I had come sooner, this is my new favorite place!

I have came here with family and friends visiting, I have ordered this for takeout countless times. Rodeo Goat is where it's at I'll be talking about the 2 most recent burgers I tried - The brisket beef attacked my arteries in the best way - the brisket melts in your mouth (overshadows the beef though). This is the meatiest burger I've ever had from here. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so the sugar bomb is the most frequently ordered burger for me (maybe 10+ times?). I really enjoy the arugula mixed in with grilled peaches, a bit of jam and the party itself. I love this burger and I hope it never leaves the menu. Rodeo Goat seems more of a schtick theme. We started with the "Steaming Pile," which is basically characterized as bacon-cheese tots with additional goat cheese & a sunny side up egg. The egg was properly cooked. The portion was small for $10. It's really not a shareable size for more than two light eaters. There was zero hint of truffle oil. The Cowboy Cobb salad was a healthy portion, and all was good except for two things: the "jalapeño croutons" were not crispy in any way - they were like what would happen if a mushy hush puppy and tempura batter had a love child and it wrapped itself around an uncivilized jalapeño trying to socially climb. The second was that the burger patty had no cheese (why bother?) & I know it was an add-on. I ordered the Inspector Clousseau. Not much of a smash on the over-cooked patties. And, yes, I know what to expect from smash burger, but again, these patties were two the thickness of anything I've ever seen called a smash burger. More importantly, the pan sauce poured over the entire plate was cold and congealed. Generally, the flavor was okay. The service was nice, but at premium prices, I'm looking for elevated effort from the kitchen.
