Visited location for Sunday brunch with my brother. Due to COVID there was limited seating in the dining area and there were very few people eating inside so we were seated pretty quickly. The wait staff warned us prior to ordering that the wait for food would be 30 minutes so we put our order in immediately. There were several people picking up orders which I'm sure played into why food for diners was delayed. When the food arrived it was hot and looked good. Tasted amazing! Definitely an upgrade from IHOP, healthier and more appealing menu selections. We had 4 adults and 3 children, waited about an hour for a table to free up, which we expected a long wait on a Saturday morning. Our lovely waitress comped all of our juices and coffee for the inconvenience. We were also warned that food was taking awhile to come out, we waited another hour after we ordered before our dishes arrived. Our waitress was attentive and kept us updated throughout the morning. Our million dollar bacon arrived right away - THEY were AMAZING. I got the birria quesadillas with egg, super tasty but not very filling - could've used more meat, especially for $14, I was eating more tortilla and cheese than anything. This seemed to be a similar problem with the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy - not much sausage in there. Let me preface this it was Black Friday, we were a party of six. We were seated swiftly, minimal wait for a larger party. The hostess was super nice. The waitress was meh. Out of six meal only two had a successful meal. Allergy foods were mixed up and the waitress was put out at first the she realized we weren't kidding about the allergy and had the meal remade. The ham and Gruyère omelets were tasty. The hash bowls were burnt and the only flavor was onion. The scrambled eggs were unevenly cooked. The bacon was undercooked. The toast was good as was the jam/jelly. The iced coffee wasn't drinkable. It tasted like Coffeemate creamer with a splash of coffee. It was grossly sweet. None of us would go back. Came in for their delicious Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and saw they are featuring a new twist to a classic menu item. Crab Avocado Toast! Multigrain bread toasted to perfection, fresh avocados, and a heaping portion of crab meat. I could have did without the pickled onions on top, but overall it was delicious. I have been to this location a few time and I have enjoyed myself. But I went recently my opinion kinda waver. Went here for a breakfast date and it was a little busy but not crazy. Placed our order and was waiting 30 minutes for only one plate to come out. Our waitress stated my food was on its way (I had order the Traditional breakfast). Waited another 15 minutes to be informed my food had been knocked over and they were making it again. We asked if the manager could come over and he did. He stated that the they will take the meal off and we thank him. Fast forward we get the bill and and noticed the meal is still on there and when questioned, the manager stated they comp our drinks (regular coffee and one ice coffee)....um after waiting for almost an hour for food I believe he should have stuck to his word and comped the food. I so want to write a more positive review, but alas honesty is why I do this ... I have been at the Pikesville store several times with each time being a great experience. We put our name in advance online hopeful that when we arrived we would sit quickly. The best laid plans seldom work out ... 30 minutes later we were seated. Our server arrived and seemed like she was rushed and not focused on us enjoying our meal and visit. Quickly it was "what can I get you to drink and are you ready to order?" We ordered and she left the coffee pot for me to refill our coffee. This would be great, unfortunately there was about 2 mugs in the pot and getting a refill was more time consuming then I had hoped. After a bit of a wait 3 of our 4 meals arrived. No acknowledgment of the rest coming ... and about 7-8 minutes later the final meal showed up. Fortunately the first 3 began eating and so their meals did not get cold. We found another server to relay a request for 2 sides (a pancake and a waffle). After almost 30 minutes waiting for these, 2 discussions with our wait person and one interaction with the manager they arrived. Our server was "in the weeds" our entire meal and never came to check back on us but was there to deliver our check before our sides we're delivered. When asked where they were, she smiled and said she was not sure, but would happily take them off our bill or package them up to go if we wanted. The visit with the manager was the epitome of how to not interact with a customer when things are going wrong. He was curt, not compassionate about our delay and basically not apologetic for the delay or our servers lack of making things happen. We were happy to pay, and get out of there. As far as cleanliness and COVID protocols it was about the same as the rest of the experience. You could tell that they are busy, and understaffed by the condition of the space. The kitchen staff, especially those on the line were going with the chin diaper mask wearing as opposed to a face covering. Many of the servers could be seen pulling up their mask as they left the kitchen to keep up a COVID conscious look. I'm not a mask zealot, but if you are preparing or serving food to customers this is something you can do to keep EVERYONE safe. I wish I could give this place more stars. Made it just in time, because we were unaware they close at 2:30. We got there at 2pm and was promptly seated. We were pretty much starving, so we already had an idea what we wanted to eat. I chose their baja turkey burger (A lean white-meat turkey patty with avocado, organic mixed greens, housemade pico de gallo, mayo and Horseradish Havarti on a brioche bun). The best turkey burger I have had in a long time. My boyfriend went with the works omelet(Ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with all-natural sour cream), if you are looking for a omelet with all the meats, this is the one for you. Really delicious. I will say this I really do not have to many favorite breakfast spots in the Glen Burnie corridor, but First Watch is on my list next to Honey Bee diner, cannot go wrong with these two places. First Watch menu is very extensive so they have a plethora to choose from, breakfast and lunch classics, to healthier options and power bowls. We have been to serval of the first watch locations. This location being open the shortest amount of time so they are still working out some of the kinks. But the food is always consistently delicious and the servers are very nice. We had several people waiting on our table since I think they were a little under staffed for a Sunday, but it turned out ok. Nothing super remarkable about the location, but a much needed breakfast spot for the area. They say everything is farm to table? But they never state what farms they are locally or even globally sourcing from? So that catch phrase is pretty annoying... The avocado toast was super good and they have really good bacon. Best breakfast in Glen Burnie, there are some local favorites - but they're more convenient than actually good. If we ever need food at 2 am there's a local place that will still get our business... but for regular breakfast during normal breakfast hours? First Watch is on the menu! I hadn't had First Watch in years and was very excited to see them opening up 6 minutes from our house! We dropped by on the second weekend after they'd opened right about 45 minutes before they closed(it was unavoidable!) and we were seated promptly. Service was top notch, every table was occupied but we still had great service. Servers and bussers were polite and friendly. They leave a thermos of coffee on the table... hallelujah. Idk how much coffee they end up wasting by leaving the thermos, but I appreciate it wholeheartedly - and the black coffee was decent and unburnt. I had a mushroom frittata - creamy rich and packed full of mushrooms! Served with a cream cheese type spread that I put on the toast they serve(comes on like a mini half baguette?) which was delicious bread btw. Assorted fruit was nice and assorted, tasted fresh. And finally had the millionaire bacon. Peppery and sweet - probably wouldn't get it again but it went delightfully with whatever kind of pancake meal my wife got - which I joyously finished. The only reason it isn't 5-stars is because my husband received his meal 20 minutes late (they apologized and comp'd immediately). The food was very tasty and original. You can tell by walking through the doors that it is well thought out menu, original from anything comparable. Smoothies look really good and will be my next order. They have large community tables with no wait, very European. Sit where you want, eat, and no worry about the person who sits next to you. Silverware is readily available on the table. Service is friendly and prompt. Group coffee carafe on the table! No asking for seconds and thirds (unless you finish the pot)! Watching my calories, I specifically ordered an omelette with fruit and the preserves were amazeballs (I stole my husband's after finishing mine). I am so excited that First Watch is in Glen Burnie! I came in for breakfast and was seated right away. A young lady promptly took my order and brought my coffee. I could tell she was new. She didn't know the menu 100% and appeared a tad nervous. That's pretty much where my service ended. I asked the waitress for more pumpkin spice creamer, she said "sure" but never brought anything by. I watched her attend to other diners inside and on the patio but no service to me. My meal was delivered by a server. The food was delicious and up to First Watch standard. Carrot cake pancakes, eggs and chicken sausage. All perfect. Only complaint: there needs to be more than 1 sliver of chicken sausage. So...no one asked how my food was or checked in with me. The waitresses simply ignored me. I tried to make eye contact, then it became a game just to see if anyone would check in. As my plate was cleared, I asked the server to please send my waitress, I'd waited long enough. I needed to leave. Diners who came in after me had been served and left because they had attentive waitresses. The same young lady who took my order came by after a few minutes to explain she was indeed not my assigned waitress. She was simply helping out Nicole who had been busy. I had watched Nicole serve the table right beside me. She gave them impeccable service. I, on the other hand received no service from a waitress during meal. No one told me Nicole was my waitress and it was evident she didn't know that either. Nicole came over, apologized for the confusion and took 20% off my bill. I work in customer service so anything less than stellar is not pleasing to me. There was a hiccup that was addressed so that is a good thing. No doubt, I'll be back. Stumbled upon this place waiting for a pickup at Lowe's. The service was 5 star and we didn't realise we were walking in 3 minutes before closing! They still insisted it was okay and made us feel very welcomed. The hostess was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and the price was very reasonable for the quality! I had the shrimp and grits with andoullie sausage and my fiancé had the Farmhouse skillet. We shared the lemon ricotta pancakes. Everything was outstanding. Our server was Julie and she really took care of us anticipating our needs. You could tell that she cared about the restaurant and made sure we enjoyed our meal. I waited an hour for eggs and a waffle. The table next to me came in well after me, got their food before me. The waitress let me know that mine was on the way, and they were waiting on the eggs. I usually get the Trifecta with a waffle, eggs and potatoes, very delicious. My bf ordered his favorite, French toast with chicken sausage. My pancake had a strange shape, reminded me of the minion with one eye but it was good. The eggs were standard and the seasoned potatoes were flavored well but okay as they were a bit more firmer than I'd like. We enjoy coming here on early weekend mornings. Service is good and we never wait too long before receiving our meals. I see they have cold pressed juices on the menu that I'd like to try next time. When it comes to ordering ahead of time for take out, they are the slowest First Watch and one of the slowest restaurants I have ever been to. Every. Single. Time. I. Go. There. They're at least 30 minutes late. When you order online, it'll say something like, "pick up at 10:30am!" But I get there by 10:40 (just in case), and voila, my food isn't ready. I come back inside every 10 minutes and my food will come out a half hour AFTER their initial pick up time, and that's if I'm lucky. There have been times where they would be an hour late. What's worse is when I do get my food and check the contents inside my car, ITS SOGGY. WTH?! HOWEVER, even then, I can't break up with them. Their food is just too good. My favorites are the Roast Beef & Havarti, Power Quinoa Bowl, Market Hash, Kale Tonic and their coffee. Even when my food is soggy, it's still good lol. I forgive them for now. read more

Holidays and weekends are really busy here. My last visit was on 1/2 and it took 2 hours before we got seated and then took another 45 minutes after we were seated to get our food. I understand they were busy and I don't fault them for that, but it just didn't feel like it was worth it. I always order the same item when I go to First Watch and I feel like the portions were smaller. Lastly, I hate when I order eggs over medium and most of the egg whites are still uncooked. First things first. I've been to about 7 FW locations in VA and MD and the food is always a hit. I get the farmhouse skillet hash every time, and the coffee is great. NOW! This location. What is the point of getting in line on the app if your wait time doesn't start until you get there? We normally visit the Bowie location and get in line on the app right before making the 20 minute drive so we don't have to wait when we get there. But here, there was an est 45 minutes wait when we got in line on the app, drove the 40 minutes and were told that we were the bottom of the list and our wait started right then checking in with the hostess which is now over an hour..How does that work?? Almost EVERY patron that came in after us complained about the same thing. I guess a lot of people bailed the line bc we ended up only waiting 10 minutes. Our waitress was AWESOME at least. read more
