Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was quickly seated. Did some pre planning by looking at the online menu prior to coming in. Tara was our server and was very friendly and knew the menu well to guide in making the right choice. When judging breakfast places, one key factor I always am critical on is how quickly we get coffee served. Tara greeted us with cups in out hand and once was accepted the cups, they were quickly filled with hot coffee. An A+ in my mind. I went with the Biscuit & sausage gravy (One large freshly baked buttermilk biscuit split in two with homestyle turkey sausage gravy, two cage-free eggs any style and a side of fresh, seasoned potatoes.) This was a perfect combination and was just enough biscuit, eggs and potatoes. The other meal was the French Toast (Custard-dipped, thick-cut brioche bread with whipped butter, powdered cinnamon sugar and warm mixed berry compote.) Very disappointed! We have visited other First Watch locations many times and loved it at their other locations. Staff was sooooooooo disorganized and got both of our orders wrong. While we waited and waited ( we were thinking of finally leaving took a long long time) We didnt appreciate the staff numerous times hovering over our table passing our seats constantly to stare out the glass windows on top of us. ( not even just one employee ...many different employees All throughout our time there...) Very annoying. Plus, after they the food finally came back again now with other issues. The potatoes were hard, food cold, smaller portions and we both agreed how disappointed we both were. We have been to many other First Watch locations where we LOVED the food and staff but at this location this was not the case. The waitress even when she come over had a broom and sweeper by our table and near our faces. ( ah...you can put it down) All this made us very uncomfortable and want to just go and an extremely unpleasant experience. When we went to pay our bill up front there were A LOt of staff by the registers but NO ONE asked how was our meal was or anything else. Just took our payment and bill and rang it thru. We both were Very disappointed and were going to mention to them but they were very not interested in talking... not sure we are coming back to this location at First Watch. We were still hungry afterwards as the food was cold & not very good, service disappointing. Disclaimer : most of the negative review is due to service. Overall the food we had was pretty good. This was my first visit, during lunchtime on a Monday. It was pretty busy but we were seated right away. Now is where it goes downhill....It took our waiter 15 minutes to acknowledge us. We asked about what Iced tea flavors they had, and he had no clue. We then ordered drinks although we were ready to order everything, but not given the chance. Coffee and an Iced Tea, easy enough....yet it took ANOTHER 10 minutes to get it. And we were never given water like every other table. The water the glasses on our table, as well as neighboring tables were dirty, so maybe better off without the water.....and our silverware was less than clean. Then we waited another 35 minutes to get our food - which were both 1/2 sandwich and soup combos. Simple enough order.....and then one order came out wrong, salad instead of soup. We asked for the check right away to try and save time, and noticed it was ordered wrong. Starting to eat and the sandwiches were tasty.... (Roast Beef/Havarti, and Monterey Club). Tomato Basil soup also very good. However, halfway through my 1/2 sandwich I noticed WAX PAPER in the sandwich. It was then I called over the manager. I politely explained the wait, as well as the wax paper, and Joe was very understanding and apologetic. He made amends with comping the bill, which I did appreciate. I explained that I am not a complainer by nature, but with the service, cleanliness, wait time, and the wax paper....I had to say something. They are asking patrons for Yelp reviews, and I hope they do use the constructive criticism to help their staff get better. I have been to a First Watch in the south and thought it was delicious. I was excited to see it come to our area. The menu has a different modern twist to breakfast. There are so many yummy options that I couldn't decide. I went with the BLT eggs Benedict. It came on a baguette with eggs, bacon, avocado, tomato, and greens. It was served with a side of greens. My husband got the traditional breakfast and it came with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast. The toast was thick and delicious with jam. Potatoes were seasoned well. We also got the cheesy grits and biscuits and gravy. The grits were disappointing with not much flavor. The biscuits and gravy were good but way too much gravy and it was one biscuit cut in half. I also got the pink blush summer drink. It was really refreshing. I also like that they give you the pot of coffee on the table. They have flavored creamers on the table as well. I really liked that. The service was okay. I felt rushed when we sat down and they immediately asked for our food order. Then the food took a long time. And then they gave us our check quick. I'm hoping that the service was off because it's new and getting set up. Overall, I am happy that the restaurant opened up here. I do think the southern one had more flavor overall. I came here for breakfast. When we first came in, we were immediately greeted and taken to a seat and we were so amazed at how beautiful the restaurant was kept. It was such a nice environment with coffee that was the best I've had in a long time. I got the avocado toast and my partner got farmhouse eggs. My avocado toast tasted a little off but Their farmhouse eggs were delicious and I wish I had gotten that instead. I've been here a few times and each time we are greeted warmly. The staff provides quick and friendly service and the food is beyond amazing. We recently had a small family reunion between two families and we are so glad we chose to have it at First Watch. Everyone was already happy to see each other but the delicious food and great service made it even more special. We all tasted a little bit of each other's meals and everything was amazing. The kids mostly had the specialty brioche French toast and gourmet pancakes but the adults had the entrees you really have to try. Bananas foster pancakes, lemon ricotta pancakes, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, frittata rustica and the Bacado - every dish was a hit!! And the million dollar bacon was a special treat. Special mention for the coffee which had great flavor. Also recommend the fresh juices which I had the last time I was here. We've been meaning to go here for a lil while now and finally got to go today. We called and told us there was about a 25 minute wait time, that we could go online and put our name on the waitlist and they would text us when the table was ready. We waited in the car and they never texted us, and when we called to check on the waitlist they told us there hadn't been a wait for quite a bit now. We go in the restaurant to get a table and they tell us there's about a 10 minute wait. Food took a while and when our plates came out one of them was no longer hot...more like room temperature. I've been wanting to come here for such a long time but had been hesitant after a miserable DoorDash experience as a driver but was willing to give it a try. We arrived at 1:30 on MLK Day and the restaurant was clearly short staffed and had not anticipated higher-than-normal traffic for a Monday holiday. There were several open tables but still waited 25 minutes. Waitress was nice enough but was waiting on many guests. My husband waited 10 minutes for cream for his $4+ watered down iced coffee and she only remembered because she had come to give us an update on our order. When the runner brought out the food we had to proactively ask for silverware. She returned with wrapped to-go plasticware (with a mini napkin that not even McDonalds would dare to use) and apologized saying they had a busy morning... only 3 minutes later i saw another table getting proper silverware. The "roasted turkey breast" looked like sliced lunch meat and had no flavor, the avocado was small and brown. There was one slice of hard boiled egg. To top it all off the salad looked like the bottom of a salad bag that was left out for a few days. We picked out all the spoiled looking limp pieces. My mother ordered a sunrise drink. It was not at all mixed. Again we asked for a straw. Finally we were told they ran out of straws. We were given 1 napkin. The final straw was it was close to closing time so the waitress started sweeping up the floor around ours and other filled tables. To top it off the atmosphere was very loud and echoed. Sausage and gravy was chalky and were not very tasty (not like Cracker Barrel), but the 2 biscuits were pretty big. 2.5/5 taste: Extremely average, no more no less. They also have all the calorie info posted on their menu items which is really helpful if you are trying to be mindful but still want to have breakfast out. Also is a great place to take out young kids, the kids' menu is appropriately portioned with lots of choices. The wait staff and the manager are lovely, highly attentive and personable. When asked the size of the juices, I was told LARGE. I forgot to say no ice, not because I don't like a cup full of ice and not juice but because I strongly dislike freezing cold drinks. After dining at this location twice within the past two weeks, I can safely say they did not disappoint on either visit, and I look forward to returning to try other menu items. The manager Chris also happened to be there on both occasions, doubling as host and seating patrons. This role seems to suit him well, as he is extremely personable, and whether or not it's by necessity, he seems to take great pleasure in doing it. On both visits, I focused on limited-time meals offered on their specials menu. The first time I tried the steak hash with eggs, and could not for the life of me understand why this wouldn't be a regularly featured menu item. It was just that good. It's even advertised on a very conspicuously placed chalkboard, clearly visible as you enter, that says "We still have the steak hash!", implying that it's very popular and people continuously ask for it. Let's hope corporate decision makers do right by this dish and keep it around. On my second visit I tried another specialty item called vanilla chai latte pancakes, which were as sweet as they sound, but not something I'd order again - too filling for my tastes and I couldn't finish them, plus they weren't quite as magical as the steak hash dish I had tried on my first visit. I wouldn't try to steer anyone else away from trying them, however. I also tried the specially flavored bacon, just because they seemed like a popular item that everyone wants to try, and they were mentioned in other Yelp reviews. They were tasty and worth trying once, but also not something I'd be inclined to order again. Besides, after the filling pancakes, I felt like my belly and arteries could handle only so much. I also like how coffee is brought in a pot, which they leave on your table for quick and handy DIY refills. Service overall was good on both visits, as well. Pro tip: If you want to bring your own beverage in, it will help if your thermos design has a Disney theme, as the manager is a self-proclaimed Disney fan. (But you didn't hear that from me. Just went in for a Easter lunch after church. It was my first time and was disappointed with the Chicken Avocado Chop salad I ordered. Once I started eating I realized there was no avocado and barely any chicken. Could be because we went one hr before closing but the least they could do was to let us know that they were running low on certain items and suggest ordering something else. read more

Finally got a chance to visit this gem. Decor is amazing and staff is very friendly. Our waitress Scarla (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) friendly and just a gem. She assured my husband and I that we couldn't go wrong with any item we selected. I had the avocado toast which was delicious. It came with scrambled eggs which were a little flat but nonetheless the avocado was yummy. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. I had a taste of his meal and the gravy was amazing. A must try is the Summer Blush. A great non alcoholic beverage for the summer months. My only issue was check-in to make reservations. The place gets crowded for eating in but it is worth it. Let me start by saying this was my first time eating here and will be my last. My wife and I went for lunch. My wife ordered the BLT and asked whether the bread was toasted. Without hesitation, he said yes. When it arrived it was not toasted. Waiter never returned until we were done eating. He did hang around back talking with his colleagues. And, inexplicably walked alll around the restaurant, not engaging with a single customer - wandering out to the vestibule...a couple of times. Eventually we asked someone bussing a table if she could ask the waiter to come by. Eventually, he did, but it was too late. The sandwich was terrible but she ate half of it without the bread. No offer to address the situation. But this isn't the worst of it. When we walked up to pay, the manager asked how everything was. I responded, "not great." She then turned to the next customer and started taking care of them. Obviously, she wasn't really curious about my experience. We love their food, but the past few months this location has become the most chaotic and unorganized FW we have ever been to. They are unable to handle the amount of patrons wanting to eat at their location, which leads to waiting times of over an hour on weekends. The Get In Line App seating estimates are so unreliable and incorrect, it makes the app literally worthless. We pretty much gave up on this FW until management gets changed. If you want to take your chances, hope you have better luck with getting seated. The food is amazing! read more
