I came here about 9 am on Friday. Originally I tried to place a to go order online but it said they were too busy for a asap order and that would have to move the time to 10. So I decided to continue my drive there and place the order once I got there. When I got in, there were a few tables available and ppl were being seated immediately. I placed my order rather quickly and there was a sign that said please wait for your table and to go orders outside. I ordered a waffle and bacon I asked for the bacon to be crispy. The young woman who helped me was very nice. She put my order in the kitchen right away. I'm waiting outside for my order. At this time there was two other ppl waiting for their food before me. It's probably been about 10 mins when I seen a bag come out and they put it to the side. I'm not thinking that could be my food because the two ppl were still waiting for there food and no one came outside to say your food is ready. Some time passes and the two ppl get their food and leave. I decide to go in and check because the food is still sitting there and guess what, it's mine. I just think if you want people to wait outside for there food you would tell them when it's ready. I left with cold food and I guess crispy means burnt because that's what my bacon was. So if you place a to go order here just make sure you're on top of them. Because even though they want you to wait outside you will not be told when your food is ready. read more

Can't believe it's taken me so long to try First Watch! This is a great location for breakfast/brunch/lunch faves and some unique twists. It's also very affordable. Lunch menu features a 2 for $9 deal, and servings are plentiful. We had Jennifer who was lovely! We ordered the quinoa bowl(yum!), Cobb salad(huge), and soup/sandwich combo. On any given Saturday, First Watch is very busy! The best idea is to put your name on the list online ahead of arrival. I always order the meal with 1 (big) pancake, 2 eggs any way & 2 pieces of bacon. I love this meal. I do change up what flavor of pancake-- most often chocolate chip but also the cinnamon pancake and original. The juices are delicious! The ambiance is industrial and light and airy which is why this restaurant is extra appealing to me! read more

I always have a good experience when I come to first watch. The staff is super friendly, and the food is freshen, delicious, and it's clear people know, because even on a weekday midmorning this place was packed out. So busy that they've set up a separate counter and area for their pick up orders. Still, we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to get a table for two. I can't remember the name of what I ordered, possibly it was the All-American, but I always get the same thing. It comes with eggs, meat and pancake/waffle - that's my trifecta. They always cook my eggs exactly how I want them, being sure not to leave them on the griddle too long, so that the runny yolk comes out all over the waffle, my morning favorite. I try different drinks each time I go, I can't remember which of the tea/lemonade we tried, but my boyfriend had the green one, and I tried one of the others. They were both delicious and perfectly blended. Sorry I'm not more help with the names lol. He had the egg avocado sandwich with turkey and he also found it fresh and yummy on a toasted brioche bun. Very good breakfast place!! I came here with some friends and the wait was not bad at all. The seating is very nice and the service was good. There are also many vegetarian options, I ordered a burrito and was able to customize is so the black bean patty could be chopped and out inside to substitute for a protein (very unique that they did that!). The only reason a star was lost was due to the fact that they don't have many coffee options other than standard cold brew and standard latte which was a bit disappointing. The only reason I gave two stars was we ordered through Uber Eats four items, two were the breakfasts ham and Gruyère omelet and Parmesan Prosciutto Toast, both of which were good. We ordered two sides cheese grits and hardwood smoked bacon but we did not receive them even though the ticket attached to the bag listed both. Uber Eats refunded the money for both which was nice since the fault was with First Watch's service. They need to pay more attention to their takeout orders. Before I turned it over I tried to cut the hard rubbery puck and couldn't get the knife through it. Besides this gastronomic horror, they also apparentlyvthink it's ok to completely butter my toast before they serve it. Uh oh! I had no clue, so I couldn't inform them of my butter (lactose intolerant) allergy. Please put "Buttered toast" on the menu or just frigin' don't do it! The Server was lovely and gave good service, however, when I asked for some plain toast and some margarine, she responded, "what is that?" She had never heard the word margarine before, yet works in a restaurant! I advised her to go ask the chef! BTW, I have never eaten at a First Watch before this visit, and guess what? I never will again. PS the over-easy eggs had some snotty whites, but overall were edible (but I am sure they were cooked in butter.) It has been very difficult to find a decent place to have breakfast near me that both my friend and I agree upon. We have been going to diners and they really don't thrill me. I have driven past First watch countless numbers of times but for some reason I have not stopped in until a friend recommended it. Well it was time lost. I actually found a good breakfast spot! The restaurant itself is nice, open kitchen which I am a sucker for. They create some very interesting dishes which makes it difficult to chose which one you want. I ordered a bacon, avocado, Jack cheese omelette served with a side of Pico and dollop of sour cream. Great combo! They even cooked the eggs exactly as ordered. I find most places over cook the eggs and I prefer them when they are not well done. The down side was the bacon pieces were on the burnt side. A side of salad or potato was offered. I got the potatoes which was a mistake as I tried my friends salad which I really liked the dressing. Next time. The MOST outstanding part of the meal was the toast! It was all grain and loaded with nuts. Major yummy! The bottomless coffee was also outstanding. Despite the couple of hiccups I will return to sample other unique offerings. read more

So you could have only imagined my excitement to order this off the menu. The pancake comes as one huge pancake. I loved this because the edges stayed a little crispy but the center was super fluffy. The meal comes with 2 eggs and a chicken patty. My eggs were cooked to my preference and the chicken sausage was slight sweet, very tasty. To me the way a breakfast spot cooks it's bacon is VERY important. The bacon arrive pretty limp but when I asked for it to be cooked a little crispier it came out PERFECT the second time. I was happily surprised by both the food & service. The restaurant is bright and clean. The staff cheerful, helpful and attentive. The food fresh and delicious. I was even delighted by their coffee, a rich yet smooth flavor. Million Dollar Bacon - cooked perfectly with a sticky sweet & slightly spicy glaze. Went for quick bite with a client the day after I went with another client! Again, it was packed but we were able to get two seats at the family style table. We ordered the avocado toast to share and the oatmeal. Both were delicious. The oatmeal came with fruit and a large muffin on the side. The portions were so big, we didn't even eat the muffin. The place is decorated in a cute country style and they feature the standard breakfast options, plus some really unique items, and some healthy items too. (You know it's a good place when there's a long wait; but the staff at First Watch does a great job of turning around tables & seating new customers in a timely manner.) I ordered just one pancake because I was forewarned that they were gigantic! Not only was it huge; it was amazingly delicious. (It was a banana-granola crunch pancake, and for under $5.00 it was super filling and super yummy!). One of my other friends had a quinoa bowl and she said it tasted good & was perfectly filling. A third friend ordered the classic breakfast; plenty of food but she said the bacon was kind of dry, so the whole meal was just o.k. Placed order using the First Watch app. Order arrived via Door Dash about 1 hr later. When we checked the order, we were missing an entire meal. Called the store number, when we dialed the speak to store option went to busy line over 5 attempts. Decided to select the place order option only to be told there was Nothing they could do other than call the store, which they too couldn't get through, told me to keep trying. Also offered an email address to email them about my missing item, ridiculous, but wait, when I accepted her email offer, she then stated there wasn't one she could give me and to keep trying to call or use the online contact form; unbelievable. Opted to drive myself to the store. Spoke directly to allegedly store manager Rolando; immediate stand off guy. I explained the entire situation immediately tried justifying to me that there was nothing with their phones and to calm down. I asked for a full refund, told me he would process and the end of day, and when I asked how long it would take, he said he didn't know. Unbelievable is he's the actual store manager. Friends told us this store was a mess and we decided to try either way. Furthermore, food didn't even look appealing, at least the ones that actually made it. Will never go to First Watch again due to the multiple horrible experiences on something that could've been easily resolved. read more

8/17/2018- Been here before but the wait was 45 minutes. We decided to arrive early today and there was only a 20 minute wait. We decided to stay. The guys at the front were great, at the host and cashier positions. They were very polite with people. Great customer service. While waiting we looked over the menu. Once they sat us, we already knew what we wanted. Our waitress came by a few minutes later and apologized for the wait, it wasn't much. We had coffee and placed our order. To start we had the Avocado Toast, and for the meal we both ordered omelets. I had the Inspired Italian Omelet, Italian sausage, house-roasted tomatoes, and red peppers with fresh herbs, Mozzarella and Parmesan. It tasted like a pizza wrapped in egg. So delicious. It came with a side of greens and 2 pieces of whole grain artisan toast. My toast already came drenched in butter, which I do not like. The salad had dressing which I did not like either. A cute, casual, and urban-style breakfast spot with a slight rustic flare! They are currently offering indoor dining at their Plantation location and operating at half capacity. While the restaurant seems clean, food preparation is quick, and the staff is friendly, the only issue I noticed in regards to COVID-19 concerns was overcrowding in the front of the resturant. There is no line separating paying patrons from those awaiting a table, and those picking up orders. A little organization would ease the restaurant's issue of having too many customers blocking the entrance of the restaurant. Nevertheless, the restaurant upholds COVID-19 sanitary protocols through their instillation of plexiglass dividers at their cash registers, and by ensuring their servers, cooks, and cashiers wear masks at all times. Their breakfast foods are excellent and appear consistent among their different chain locations. I am obsessed with their homemade granola (which they sell in packages) and blueberry muffins. I may be a bit biased because I love anything with blueberries, but wow, do they some delicious muffins! The blueberry muffin was packed with fresh blueberries that burst with flavor in each bite. The top of the muffin is coated with coarse sugar to give it that sweet and crunchy taste.
