My wife and I just went here for the first time. We walked in and were "greeted" in about 30 seconds. I put that in quotations because I wouldn't really call it a greeting. The woman who took us to our table seemed more confused than anything. She got started with "just you two today?" And then started walking away without saying anything. She got about halfway into the restaurant before turning around and telling us "this way". We then waited about 7 minutes until our server arrived. She took our drink order and came back about 6 minutes later. At this point, we were really hoping the food would make up for the lackluster service. I got the Chile Chorizo Omelette and my wife got the Egg Benedict Sandwich. We both thought the food was good, but wasn't anything special. As busy as we've seen this place the past couple weekends we really expected something unique, but there wasn't really anything special about this place. I'd give the service a 1/5 and the food a 3/5, thus the 2-Star review. We're definitely not in a hurry to go back anytime soon. And on a side note... every table got a water glass bottle except for ours. read more

Sometimes it's the little things. I had the ham and gruyere melt and tomato soup. The tomato on the sandwich couldn't be fresher, dijonnaise sauce was delicious, and the cheese freshly melted. Top notch service. What more could you ask for? read more

The food was absolutely delicious but the service was embarrassing. We had to ask 3 different people for a glass of water before we finally got it. Out waitress would serve the table behind us, then walk right past us without even glancing in our direction. I feel like I've gotten better service at McDonald's. read more

After my public complaint about the bad experience during my B-Day! The upper level management read my post and were very concern to address how I felt and the experience I had. They called me and care about it and stated they will train the employees and managers how to address this type of the issues in the future. We thought we were going to Egg and I, unaware of the name change/new business. We thought we would check it out anyway. We got there before the crowd so we were seated rather quickly. We ordered the Morning Meditation beverage (excellent), coffee(my cup had lipstick on it, requested clean cup), pancakes with strawberries and lemon curd (excellent - no syrup required), and The Works omelette (also excellent). The waiter was nice and laughed when I asked if I could get the recipe for the pancakes. They were so light and fluffy. We'll be back with more family members. read more

We had to wait forever for a table. They took forever to clean and turn tables for new customers. We finally got seated and our drinking glasses were dirty. We had to wait like 30 more minutes for our food to even come out and they were not very busy. The biscuits and gravy and pancake were good, but the eggs were over cooked. Tried to eat here on the weekend, however the wait was extremely long and to add the kitchen was behind. We ended up leaving because we could see that people who were seated were waiting for their orders to be taken. Unfortunately this was a waste of time. This place has great food but the bad taste comes with customer service... Theirs a girl that works at this location she has light skin and always has a scarf on her head.. She has the worst attitude. I think her name starts with a K but she never introduces herself.. I've made complaints about this person and the manager looks over it. Claiming that she a good person but she must have them fooled...It all started when she came to my table not my waitress to fix my drink and she poured it all over the place because I ask them to remake it.... Than replies is " that better". All in all she needs to get either a different job or learn to be more respectful towards others... read more

Opted to go to first watch for breakfast today so we got on the wait list. Excited that we got sat sooner than the waitlist time indicated we would be sat.. got to table. waitress came over and we order drinks and meals for both me and son. Nothing fancy. We waited almost 30 min for food and I saw a that s a couple of tables that sat after us got their food before we did . I asked for manager and was told they were busy in back . Finally food came out and sons waffle and bacon were cold. I asked to speak to manager. Still nothing .. I was finally told our food would be comped and so I reordered sons food since he still had not eaten .. I still wanted to speak to the manager but was advised that hey were busy in back yet again.. the fact the food was cold and manager NEVER came out to speak to me was extremely distracting. The ruined the menu from how it was when it was Egg & I. Also if you try to substitute for a lower priced item they say that you will be charged full price for the sub item. Egg & I had great food, then they turned into First Watch and ruined their food and customer service. Never again. read more

Waited for over an hour for eggs & pancakes. Ruined a family Christmas Eve breakfast. Other parties were being served all around us. I asked for the manager after I paid the bill. No comment other than it was a "large" party of 8 & that they were sorry. I'd rather you tell the truth & say you lost the order than to lie about it. I won't be back. Buyer beware. read more

I was surprised to discover my old standby, Egg and I, had disappeared. It wasn't disappointing, however, to find that another great breakfast/brunch/lunch place stood in its place. It was packed when I when but was amazed at the mere 10 minute wait. They are efficient at getting people in. I got there first and waited for my three friends. I apologized to the server for ordering coffee (ugh, how annoying to refill coffee on a busy day!). She said "no problem" and brought me my own little coffee pot. I love restaurants that do that. They did the same with water, offering a large container so I never had to wait for refills. They also had French vanilla and hazelnut creamer. It's little things like that that make my experience great. I ordered the millionaires bacon (sugary , spice bacon). By the time my friends got there we decided we needed at least another plate it was so delicious. Our food was yummy and fresh. They have lots of healthy choices and not too many splurge options (the bacon probably tops the list). My friend wanted pancakes and she settled with the lemon ricotta pancake. She said it was amazing. The lady at the table behind us complained that she didn't like her pear cider. It took some restraint to keep from askin "can I have yours, then?" It looked amazing. Overall it was a great time. Reasonable prices, efficient service, friendly staff, and yummy food. read more
