This was my first time trying this breakfast and lunch spot. It is part of a franchise and insanely busy. We had a 45 minute wait which was the perfect amount of time to grocery shop before brunch. They have lots of healthy and unhealthy options with attention to details and flavor. The purple haze lemonade was fresh and invigorating. The million dollar bacon was crispy sweet and salty. Went here for breakfast on 2-16-19. I had ordered the trifecta. It consisted of a Belgian waffle, choice of meat and two eggs. The waffle was light and airy. I had ordered bacon for the type of meat, it was cooked perfectly. The eggs were a little bland and had way to much parsley sprinkled on them. My wife ordered the avocado toast which came on whole grain bread and also came with two eggs. She thought her food was good with the exception of the eggs which she did not care for; she had also felt that they were bland. We also tried what they call the million dollar. We both liked it. Overall the restaurant was clean and had a good ambience about it. The staff was very friendly. The service was also good. Took my besties for birthday brunch here. It was their first time & my second. Our waitress was wonderful & did a great job of making sure they'd chose something they'd enjoy. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, ham & Gruyère omelet & the Morning Meditation fresh juice. My pancakes were rich, fluff & mouthwatering. The lemon & blueberry combo was chef's kiss. My besties ordered waffles, grits, ham & cheese omelet, morning market veggie omelet & purple haze fresh juice. Everything was delicious & we have more than enough left over for our late night snack. The service was good. Friendly smiles from the hostess. The server was attentive. The omelet was overcooked and had that burnt egg taste at the edges. There was essentially no chorizo. So the whole Chile and chorizo omelet had no spiciness that I was hoping for. The bacon was well cooked and delicious. The price for the Chile chorizo omelet with a glass of milk and coffee was $30.00. They could have done better for flavor and value. Stopped by First Watch on our way home from vacation and we were not disappointed! Very cute environment with even better food! I got a seasonal special, the carnitas burrito. It was AMAZING! Got a side of hot sauce with it and ate the whole thing. Also got 1 carrot cake and pecan pancake and I can't say enough good things about that either! It was awesome. Wonderful breakfast / brunch place! We were in town for an uncle's memorial service and ate at First Watch based on Yelp reviews. They are very efficient even with the social distancing and sanitation requirements. Everything in the menu looked great and choice was hard, but I settled on the Hacienda Hash and the others in the group had the Trifecta. The Hacienda Hash was an excellent mix of flavors and just the right size. The selection of pancakes were extensive and the Lemon Ricotta pancakes were a hit. Highly recommended and we will be back next time we are in Summerville. read more

Top notch food and service! Been here just a handful of times and have never left disappointed. The food is phenomenal, we've had both omelettes and sandwiches, everything tasted very tasty, fresh and came out quickly. Service has been consistently nice, courteous and helpful no matter how busy they are. They are also accommodating. I was told that the server for my favorite corner spot was really busy with a large group but I requested it anyway since I was in no rush. She handled them and me with no problem, not even delays with me... that says a lot! This place has really got it down pat, which is why I'm a repeat customer!!! Quite possibly the best waffle I have ever eaten. It had the lightest feeling, but had a crispy shell. It was so lightweight it almost reminded me of a funnel cake bc it was so airy on the inside. Eggs were great. Bacon was awesome, but the mixed berry compote and the whipped butter make the waffle. You do not need the syrup- flavors and texture are there. I actually tried a bite with syrup and didn't like it. Coffee was fresh and local. One complaint would be the massive cup of Oatmilk I had to order to go in my coffee. Seemed odd. I was first introduced to First Watch at our tiny home in Clearwater Fl .. was impressed with the service and food! I was very excited when they opened in Summerville!! I have been a consistent (weekly " customer, Although I have given up on their ability to "poach" an egg .. either hard yellow or runny white ! but we still have been going. Today we tried their seasonal "Harvest Hash" featuring their million dollar bacon and hot honey. The dish came without the bacon or the honey.. we notified our server and she acknowledged the missing items and took it back. Several minutes returning with the unchanged dish and sheepishly stating "the cook said "it has bacon" , when asked to show us one piece she simply shrugged ! I asked for the manager and after a while was told that the manager was busy "on the line" and was not available ! She offered to remove from the bill .. This could have been resolved with adding bacon and a little honey , but the manager elected to lose the sale "and" the customer , breaking the golden rule of retail.This business is currently very popular but this type of leadership will eventually be its downfall! Had such a disappointing breakfast here last week!! I ordered the tri fecta and picked a waffle, bacon and 2 eggs. The waffle was so hard I couldn't cut through it! The server commented the waffle maker has been messing up waffles lately, but she was nice enough to swap it for a pancake. Still annoying though that a breakfast place that advertises fluffy waffles for breakfast they should be able to do waffles. The eggs were over easy and I thought it was weird that the egg whites were still clear, yuck!! My mom ordered French toast and she said they didn't taste like anything. Million dollar bacon or whatever it's called was nothing special. Our server was very nice and attentive. Signing up for the waitlist online helps you not need to wait as long for a table. We love breakfast! Our favorite thing here is the Million Dollar Bacon! It's sweet it has good flavor with a little bit of char and you know that when just the right amount of browned bits hit on that bacon it's magic!!! They have pretty good pancakes. Taste like homemade. They're pretty big though so one or two should appease the hungriest of people. I have enjoyed everything I've ordered thus far. We have been here several times and plan to keep this one in rotation for our breakfast and brunch needs. I do like that that they close at 3p, so we can hit up our brunch cravings a little later in the day. We will be back and you should try it if you haven't. Wow! Came in for breakfast for the first time and we were blown away. Only a short wait to get a table, and then the art on the walls and amazing service helped us feel right at home (shout out to Jessie - she was absolutely delightful and checked in on us often to bring coffee and water and the best hot cocoa/ made with love). The bananas fosters French toast was dessert for breakfast and so satisfying. The Al pastor hash was flavorful and fun (make your own tacos) with eggs and pickled onions on top! The Chickachanga was a really unique order, and so delicious - everyone at the table shared bites with each other and it was just amazing. Ok, if you're ever passing through Summerville and you want to get right back on "hwy I-26" etc... Then this cool laid-back clean establishment with great fresh delicious eats is a winner! I had breakfast...I'm a Benedict fan so the choices we're staring right at me in the middle of their menu. I had the bacon w/fresh tomatoes-avocado topped with Sprigs of spinach over the eggs:) And on the side was the country style potatoes which is apart of your meal. What a cool hip breakfast lunch spot I discovered in Summerville yesterday. A beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food and great service. They have a rather large menu with many healthy options. It was difficult to choose and I noticed plates coming to other people were pretty big. So with that in mind I ordered the BLT and soup combo. The BLT was oozing with flavor as was the tomato and basil soup. In fact I just couldn't finish and believe me I tried. My daughter got the turkey biscuit plate with potatoes of some sort. All of it looked and tasted really good. No issues with parking here as it's in the Earthfare parking lot. If you are in the Summerville area you really should check this place out. I have been wanting to try this place. We finally made it! We went in a Sunday around 11:15 for brunch. It was a forty minute wait. We decided to wait it out. It was truly a forty minute wait but worth it. They do have complimentary coffee in the waiting area. All the staff was very nice. I ordered a cold brew coffee since the iced coffee has sugar in it. I'm a weirdo and I don't like sugar in my coffee. I went with the traditional breakfast and added cheese and mushrooms to my eggs. Everything was delicious. The portion was more then enough. I really liked the bread they use for the toast. The bacon was cooked perfect. It was a bit pricey in my opinion but it would not turn me away from coming back. This place is spacious, sparkling clean, service is fantastic, and the menu items are delicious! We are crazy for the pumpkin donut holes with dipping sauces as an appetizer that come out piping hot! What could be better in the fall?! The truffle mushroom hash overwhelms the senses with a creamy truffle sauce, various mushrooms, arugula, eggs, cheese and potatoes; brilliant! You have to squeeze the lemon over it, makes it perfect blend of flavors. My girls shared the humongous chocolate chip pancake with bacon. Pancakes were fluffy! This has been our " after church, go to breakfast place" for the last three years; until today. There has been increasing occasions of poorly delivered food, over-worked staff, and generally, poor oversight, especially on a busy Sunday morning. Eggs Florentine, when done well, is delicious here. The increasing failure to serve a hot breakfast, ( today was the 4th time, in 3 years) and then today, they took our meals back, reheated one, only it still wasn't hot, and someone dropped an egg, so one of us was served a cold breakfast, again and,the other had to wait for an entire meal to be prepared.. We asked for to go boxes, so we could heat them up together, at home. She gave us a 20% discount which was inappropriately inadequate, per our expectations. I've been to First Watch in Virginia and loved it. So you can imagine my delight when this establishment came to Summerville, super close to my house! I talked my supervisor into a work brunch and so 5 of us went. We all sat in one of the booths and were promptly greeted by our waiter with coffee. I asked to try the kale tonic and I guess I didn't word it right, because he brought me a glass. He told me I can try it haha. I will be back for another one of those drinks. It was so delicious! The apple really came through and it was just a medley of amazing. I will be back even for just a juice for sure. I ordered the Shakshuka with chicken and poached eggs on top. The chicken was delightfully tender and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The dish was served with a garlic bread so I scooped the tomato chicken eggy goodness onto the bread and dove in. It was an absolutely amazing dish. I used to make it for myself awhile back but somehow it went to the wayside. First Watch makes it better than I do though. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Every single coworker loved their food. There were no complaints at all. We gather this Friday and what turned out to be a wonderful "little" cafe in the heart of Summerville. Our server, Miss Stacie Rae, allowed us to pour over their massive menu before finally deciding to start with the million dollar bacon. Crisp, sizzled, and seasoned with a delicious kick to couple the brown sugar glaze, this bacon matched its title. For the main course, and now three cups of coffee deep while enjoying leisurely conversation, we have their renown "Farmhouse Skillet Hash" which was so filling and plentiful I couldn't even finish it. Gently toasted slices of sourdough with jam, a fresh serving of grapes, pineapple, and melon. Two eggs poached and seasoned with proper gentle yokes, and well made seasoned potatoes. My mouth literally waters thinking about the dish, and it will probably become my favorite way to start a morning in Summerville.
