Amazing little restaurant... Sitting off in a little strip mall.. pleasant person greeting us at the door , Sat us quickly and got us coffee. First-watch is always our favorite place for breakfast. This morning, my daughter and I tried the one in Tampa, and I think we are going to adopt that location. Our server Samantha was amazing. It was my first time trying the Bacado, and it was delicious. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the background music. We will come again next week. read more

Very cute and trendy place!! We arrived at around 1015 and put our name on the list- brief 25 minute wait. They take your cell phone number and text you when you're about to be called to the table. After finishing a 9+ mile run, I was looking for something hearty and thank goodness I ordered the works: mushrooms, onions, ham, bacon, with sour cream on top. The omelette comes with toast and potatoes- which I sadly gave to my partner because of my current food plan :( he thought it was delicious and I was happy for him, sad for me Can't wait to have pancakes read more

I had no idea that First Watch was opening nearby. A childhood friend posted it last week and I found out there was a soft opening. So, I was able to RSVP for the soft opening and went Saturday. The restaurant looks wonderful inside and there is patio. Normally, I get the Tri-Fecta but decided to get something off the fall menu. I ordered the Modern Croque Madame, Cheesy Grits and Pomegranate Pear Punch. Everything was delicious!!! The location is perfect and the staff is friendly. Good music playing. read more

I had to redownload yelp just to warn the public about how bad this first watch is. We just ordered through the app and I can't believe this cost $45... but the worst part is my girlfriends "salad" was literally just a cup of lettuce, absolutely no dressing or anything, and it looks like someone took a bite out of the tortilla on my tacos before it was cooked and there's maybe 4 bits of tomato and a ball of egg in one, I've attached pictures because I wouldn't have believed this crap without evidence myself read more

Honestly, I'm still sitting at my table and am writing this because I'm so shocked at how bad this experience has been. We came for a birthday with 10 people (which is a large party, we know) we called, signed up for the waiting list, and showed up early. We've been separated and have had to have conversations across tables. The iced coffee is actually terrible in a very impressive way. I ordered a cocktail that was forgotten. The food is bland, tepid, and was brought out in an untimely manner. Super displeased with this experience. First watch, last time. read more

Never fails me. Started with the morning meditation, which is always refreshing. The Entress included the chickichanga (average flavor, cooked just right, would benefit from more sauce), and the Bacado (little flavor, love the toast and jam, more bacon and cheese needed). I own a 30 pound registered license service dog. I asked for a private area for myself, my guest and the service dog. Upon arriving to the table inside all of the floors around the tables were disgusting and had leftovers on the floor. I placed my dog on the booth bench next to me where he laid the entire time while we waited for our appetizers and drinks and did not move or flinch. I'm not going to put my service dog on a floor with elements that could harm him. We were told by management he couldn't be on the bench next to me. Understood. I made the choice to leave because of the state of cleanliness of this establishment. Please keep the floors clean for those of us that have a disability need and for service dogs. read more

We were seated right away for our reservations for our party of 11 (two tables close to each other) The food was ok. One of the ladies in our party said that their waffles were delicious so we all ordered but apparently one of the waffle irons were broken so the waffles came out lack luster, thin and slightly undercooked. The other food was decent. 4 stars for the staff that was apologetic and offered a free meal to compensate. read more

Asked for over easy eggs and got raw egg soup, uncooked egg whites and all. Told server I wanted new eggs and he told me I was wrong they are perfect. Biscuits and gravy were very good but came with barely any gravy, asked for more, server was rude. I'm never one never one to complain but for the high price i expect good service. read more

Morgan and her team were absolutely fabulous! We were a post wedding party group of 18 and I called to reserve space for our group right when they opened. We arrived at their most busiest time and they made it work! We even had a special request for food to arrive early because one family had a plane to catch and they made it work! Went today, we ordered two BLTE both with potatoes. Eggs were burnt and bacon wasn't cooked, everything was cold. When our server showed up after 10 minutes she asked if they could remake it. We had an appointment and had been there for one hour so could not wait. Asked for a manager, none came. One star is too many but you can't give zero. read more

Friendly, joking and very accommodating. His recommendations were spot on and after finding out about my wife's drinks tastes gave her the perfect drink. We also have to mention Lucky. Never has a food runner left such a lasting impression that we needed to ask for his name to give him the recognition he rightfully deserves. It wasn't until we left the restaurant and reflected on the evening that we came to the conclusion that the food was run of the mill and Matt was what made the experience positive. Because Tampa is such a vibrant food city, I don't imagine myself coming back when presented with the option to eat at a local restaurant; however, if I were in an area that only had chain or franchise meal options and I saw a Del Frisco's, I would probably return.

I had an amazing breakfast experience at First Watch! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, and we didn't even need to make reservations. The restaurant's menu caught my attention with its detailed descriptions and thank you to Tracy for giving excellent recommendations. I opted for the Tri-fecta, which included cage-free eggs cooked to my preference, a delicious banana pancake, crispy bacon, and scrambled eggs. The meal was served on a unique square plate and accompanied by warm maple syrup. It was absolutely delicious. We also tried the healthy turkey omelet, which featured house-roasted onions, tomatoes, spinach, and Feta cheese in a cage-free egg white omelet. We customized the dish by substituting the deli-style turkey with turkey sausage. The omelet was flavorful and satisfying, and it was served alongside whole grain artisan toast.
