Once again - disappointed by the slimy salad. Nobody wants salad that is clearly rotting and is potentially going to make you ill. The food was delicious and the bartender was super friendly and very polite! But the man at the host stand was very rude and as we were standing right in front of him and he started talking to the people that came in after us and people behind us asking them how many there party was. Then proceeded to not talk to us until the people behind us said we were there first. Not a good experience. I ordered an entree salad with NO dressing on it. Dressing on the side. It came out with something greasy on the entire salad. After a bit of an argument with the waitress it was sent back. After waiting for 15 minutes it came out exactly the same. Almost like they just brought the original salad out again. This place is normally clutch came in today and what a show. I don't know why we received poor service however i dont know if i will be back. So sad to feel like this I LOVED this place. I enjoyed eating brunch at this spot. The overall aesthetic of the place was lovely. We decided to eat outside. It was a little chilly, but I saw they had fans above for warmer days. Moreover, the menu had plenty of entree options. I tried 2 of the juice options (one had kale in it, and another had ginger) and could tell it was fresh. As an appetizer, we had the million-dollar bacon, the best bacon I have ever had. As my entree, I had the BLT eggs benedict, and my partner had the Chickichanga; both meals were delicious. I enjoyed my meal so much that I forgot to take pictures. Finally, the service was friendly. Even our host was pleasant. Our waitress, Abby (I hope that was her name), was phenomenal. It's been a while since I've done a review. So I'm sad for this to be a lower review compared to my other ones. Matt and James were the managers and they made the whole situation a lot better but I still don't understand why the problems that happened today were happening at all. After being seated nobody came to our table for a while I tried to make eye contact with a couple workers but no one would look directly at me. eventually I was able to get the attention of the hostess and ask her who our server was. she didn't know and instead took our order for us which I was very appreciative of. after our order was put in we still didn't have a server come to our table but someone else did bring us our drinks and when I asked them if they were our server they said no. I asked them if we had a server or if they could find our server so that I knew who I would be tipping. I don't think I had a server come to our table once at any point but the managers did end up taking care of us. The managers were very attentive and helpful I just don't necessarily understand what happened with the serving staff today. The food was pretty good but nothing special. The drinks were OK it just confuses me why they would only pour half of the drink in our cup to give us the rest of the drink on the side when the whole entire drink can fit in a cup. But that's just me overthinking things I'm not the biggest fan of breakfast so I don't think that I'll come back here again but like I said the managers were very nice and helpful and they made sure that everything turned out all right. read more

My friend and i were staying acrros the street for the night and woke up early and wanted to have breakfast, so we walked over and from the moment we walked in the customer service was great. Our server taylor was super nice and helped us out with deciding which drinks were they most popular. I ordered the pomegranate sunrise which was super good and my friend ordered the vodka kale tonic and he loved it i tried it and it tasted very refreshing. For food i ordered the bacado and substituted my bacon with the best bacon ever (million dollar bacon). My friend ordered a turkey sandwich and he loved it. The food came out pretty quickly too. First Watch is in Westshore yall! Today was opening day And it's the prettiest one of them all. There's a full bar, outdoor seating, indoor seating with tons of windows for magnificent natural Florida sunshine to kiss your chubby cheeks as you nibble on the delicious First Watch food. Does it get any better than this?? I surely don't think so! We drove on in to plentiful free parking and then walked into impeccable, friendly service that is customary with any First Watch I've visited in the past. We ordered my usual - blueberry pancake (yum! And it's as big as your face!) and avocado toast - the best to ever do it IMO. My friend had the scramble and added avocado to it, which was sautéed veggies, potatoes and the avocado set it off! The coffee was flowing and so delicious and the service was amazing. Oh! And I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cinnamon roll. Oh. My. Goodness. Starting the diet tomorrow because today was not the day for that. I love this new location! Disappointed. My recent issue with this chain is the inconsistency between locations. The most annoying thing with this experience,is that I've had this sandwich at another location in Oldsmar and it was PERFECT! Today, ordered the spring special Smoked Salmon Sammy the top piece of bread was beyond hard, like bang it on the plate hard. I mentioned it to the server and asked for just another slice of bread to replace the hard one. She said sure but brought me back whole wheat toast! The bread on the special is NOT whole wheat! It is a Parmesan everything seasoned challah bread. So imagine the contrast. Beyond annoyed at this point. No need to ask again so I just ate the sandwich opened faced without a top slice. Just overall terrible. The description is that the egg on the sandwich is over-easy...nope try again that egg was over hard. Safe to say I won't be visiting any First Watch restaurants for a while especially the Westchase location. read more
