Came here with my parents and niece, when we arrived there was almost no customers inside, maybe 3 other people. They sat and took our drink and food orders right away. We waited almost 40 minutes to be served our food, we saw so many pairs/families come in and be served their food before us. We kept being told a few more minutes or that there was 1 ticket ahead of us. We didn't understand how we arrived before everyone yet waited so long to be served while everyone around us was eating. It was about $102 for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and 2 grilled bass. The food tasted great as my family are big seafood eaters, but the wait was so long.

Ate here, in person, for the first time on 3.14.26 Previously we had ordered on DoorDash, and we were not let down!! When we ordered on DD the food was still warm/hot enough, and it was soooo delicious. My fish and chips were so flaky and tender. My boyfriend's po'boy was STUFFED, and the red beans and rice were even good. Last night we decided to try it in person (because we knew it would be so much tastier when it's fresh and hot). It was all delicious!! Definitely going to be back again. The restaurant has a nice diner vibe and the color scheme was very nice. Lots of seating and a counter/bar. Our waitress was very informative and helpful, Sarah is a great lady.

There was no wait time for seating. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Charles was excellent with personality plus. Our appetizer's were Oysters on the half shell from Maryland and Calamari. For our entree Snow Crab & Shrimp Boil and Blackened Salmon with Dirty Rice Garlic Spinach. The food was served heat hot with lots of flavored seasoning. You will not find another place like this place for your fish and seafood delight, every single bite was so delicious. The staff members are all like free entertainment. When we're back in town from California we will definitely stop in. You guys are awesome!!!!

We are fairly regular visitors to Fish City, and our group of 4 asked for a quiet booth on arrival. We were seated in the back, at the same booth my husband and I had happily occupied a few weeks earlier. Everyone in our group returns for the food quality and reasonable pricing. The restaurant continues to deliver on these, but on our most recent experience on a Tuesday evening we had a combination of poor service and noisy employees (related to where we sat, perhaps). In the back of the restaurant there are 3 booths near the kitchen. One booth is directly adjacent to an area where the manager and employees talked, one rather loudly. Fortunately for us, a booth across from ours was open so we moved. This helped somewhat. On this visit, my shrimp po boy and fries were way too salty, bordering on inedible. Also, we were quite disappointed with the service this visit, particularly given the place was not full when we arrived. Our initial waiter (who was great!) had moved to bartender duty and those following up dropped the ball. We waited a very long time for our checks. In the past we'd noticed the manager working hard with others. This time she seemed less present. Maybe there was a shift change during our visit. We just know our overall impression wasn't up there with previous visits. It may be awhile before we return.

We came for the $2 oyster happy hour. All the food was tasty, fresh, and a great value with large portions. Our waitress was awesome. Will definitely be back!

Scallops and Shrimp with Rosoto

I've been to this spot several times now, and the food has consistently been on point. This visit was no exception. I ordered the scallops and shrimp with spinach risotto, and let me tell you--it was impeccable. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and honestly, I found myself wishing the portion was bigger because it was that good. I also snagged a bite of my friend's grits and was absolutely blown away. Hands down the best grits I've ever had in a restaurant--creamy, buttery, and just the right texture. The service was a bit on the slower side this time around, but it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. Despite that, our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and very apologetic about the wait. The ambiance gives off a classic diner vibe, with a cozy and casual feel. They also have a covered outdoor patio, which is a nice touch if you prefer dining al fresco. I'll definitely be back--especially for those grits.

This place never disappoints! Food is always amazing. Best smash burger and fries! The bread pudding was good but definitely missing ice cream! Will be returning for some fish next time!

I have the best experience here every single time I come in. I usually swing by multiple times during crawfish season. Sometimes twice a week lol. I get half Cajun butter half nitro. They are huge this season. Epic pricing too, at $8.99/lb, it's the cheapest in town (probably in the whole Austin area) and they are delicious. Fatty, plump, everything I want when I crave crawfish during the season. The staff is so friendly and kind. Every single server, host staff, manager I've come into co tact with has been exceptional. The outdoor seating is my favorite vibe.

We had great service from Erica. Even though we are visiting from out of state, we will be back. Food and ambiance was good, too.

Maybe you should call them. But you can remove them.

The waitstaff were all very kind and attentive. The food felt very overpriced for what we received. The brunch fruit bowl I received consisted of four thin slices of strawberry (not even one strawberry), two pineapple chunks and no more than 15 blueberries. The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.

Since Uncle Buck's is technically part of the attached Bass Pro Shops it's pretty easy to find parking. The downside of that is that just about everyone who went shopping next door is coming here after. We had to wait about 45 minutes in order to get a lane here, which really wasn't a difficult wait as they have a bar and restaurant, arcade, and the actual Bass Pro Shops next door. When we were eventually called for our lane we were pretty excited to get started. We ordered a strawberry lemonade, pina colada, fried pickles, and churro sticks to start alongside our bowling. We were surprised that the food wasn't really all that bad for bowling alley standards. It wasn't great, but hey, it's a bowling alley. Service was decent too despite it being pretty packed. Ironically, the worst part of the experience was the bowling. The lanes are pretty narrow and that extends to the bay where you sit down. It's pretty hard to get back and forth from bowling having to crawl over a lot of people. Also, we ran into issues over and over with the lane itself taking a long time to register which pins were knocked over and when to fully reset. We bowled only 1.5 games in a full hour with only 4 people. We could've easily bowled another full game at most places. This probably would've been a lot more annoying had the place itself not been so fun and endearing. That's probably the best way to put Uncle Buck's, it's endearing. It's funky, has its fun vibe, but is kinda rundown in the good kinda way. Looks like the kids love it and it's refreshing to see these quirky spots still open and operating. Don't think we'd necessarily look to come back but we honestly wouldn't mind coming back either.

Way Too Expensive for Poor Maintenance and Service…read more I wanted this to be a great experience for a 14th birthday, but unfortunately, the quality of this facility did not match the price tag. If you are planning a party here, please read this before you book the "package." The "Party Package" Trap (Save your money!): * Do not pay the extra $10, $15 or $21 per child for the pizza and soda package. * You only get TWO very basic ONE topping pizzas and TWO pitchers of soda, no matter which package OR how many kids. It is absolutely not worth it, at all! * Pro-Tip: Pay the base (Bronze) price per child and just order what you want off the menu. You'll save a ton of money and get better food. The Technical Issues: We spent half of our paid time waiting for help that never arrived. * The lanes were poorly lit (lights were out on our lane). * The ball return worked less than half the time. * The pin-setters were clearing pins while the kids still had a turn remaining. * The scoring system was constantly glitching. Because of these constant malfunctions, we didn't even get the full playtime we paid for. You are paying for a "timed" experience, but you lose that time waiting for equipment to be fixed. The Service: When we asked for help with the lane or the ball return, it simply didn't come. We were left waiting around while our party clock kept ticking. Final Verdict: This facility makes a ton of money on birthday parties, and they need to reinvest that into maintenance. It's frustrating to pay a very high premium for a birthday celebration only to deal with broken machinery and a lack of support. There are better ways to spend your birthday budget.

The food was really good, but they forgot two sides, including one that was part of my dad's Father's Day meal which was disappointing after the drive. I called and requested a refund for the missing items. Later, someone from the restaurant called me back, but I missed it. When I returned the missed call, I was transferred to the owner, who said, "You're calling me about coleslaw? I don't know anything about that and I'm really busy today, it's Father's Day." What made this especially disappointing is that I was simply returning their missed call... When he pulled up my order, he dismissed the issue with, "Oh, these were just entree sides." He offered a gift card, but I requested a refund for the items instead since I'm unsure I'll be making the far drive again in the future. The conversation ended with him telling me he had a line of people waiting. Mistakes happen and missing items can be fixed. What was disappointing was being treated like I was the inconvenience when I was simply trying to resolve a mistake the restaurant made and returning a phone call.
