I am so happy there's now a steakhouse in Poulsbo! That being said, Fjord definitely has some kinks to work out (I am confident they will). We dined there on May 30, 2026, the day after the restaurant officially opened. Our reservation was scheduled for 7:30pm. Upon arrival, parking right across the street was a breeze and the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. We headed in around 7:25 and were seated at the last available table in their "patio" section immediately. The name was a bit confusing. It's an enclosed indoor space so it wasn't actually a patio. Anyway... We didn't receive our drinks until around 8:10. Our food arrived maybe around 8:30? 8:45? Unfortunately, they were sold out of much of the menu, so we didn't get to try anything we really wanted initially. We decided on the two Wagyu options. They were both good but not the best steaks we've ever had. We wouldn't order them again and would instead try the others we initially wanted. HOWEVER... the Wagyu steaks were served on potato terrine, which we had never heard of prior to this visit. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would truly come back by just for the potato terrine. The ambience of the restaurant, at least in the "patio" section, was laughably awful. Every table was full so the enclosed space was LOUD. My husband and I just awkwardly started at each other the entire meal because we had to shout (and shout again, repeatedly, the whole time) to even hear each other over the noise. For future visits, we will either sit inside or make a reservation for later in the evening (8:30 at the earliest) when it's not as packed. Service was amazing! I forgot our server's name (she had dark hair, perfect makeup, and I overheard her tell another table that she previously worked at Disney... if that's you and you're reading this, you were a service rockstar!). Anywho, she was super helpful explaining the menu and apologetic that they were out of everything. Then she comped part of our meal because of being sold out, which was much appreciated. Overall, we'll definitely go back and recommend the restaurant to others. The food and drinks were good, the restaurant is gorgeous with an AMAZING view, and the service is great. The restaurant is new so I'm certain they'll adjust and work out the kinks.

Wanted to try this new steakhouse in the Poulsbo area. It was pretty packed but was able to get a reservation in the bar area. The food was excellent for the most part but what killed the experience for me was the fact that I had to wait 20 minutes for an Old Fashioned (not exaggerating either). The service from our server was unfortunately bad IMO. Maybe it's better in the regular table areas....

Great addition to the dining scene in Poulsbo. The Tomahawk steak and lobster for two was delicious. Crispy fries, roasted veggies, a tasty salad and chocolate cake for dessert. Wine prices are decent, but martinis could use some work. We dined at a booth in the bar and enjoyed great service and a darker ambience than the main dining room.

Our guests ordered the halibut and the ribeye, both were satisfied with the cook and seasoning of their dishes.

All hard surfaces, so I need to let you know that the place is a bit noisy. It wasn't full and we had trouble hearing each other across the table. They have a full menu for brunch and prices range from around $16 for "the usual" of eggs, bacon, and roasted potatoes to $25-30 for fancier plates. Note that toast was a side with extra charge. Brunch for 3 with coffee (and toast) was $115 including tax and tip. Not cheap, but the food was pretty good. The corned beef hash that I had came with a horseradish sauce that was a bit unusual, but good. My wife had "the usual" eggs, bacon, etc. Our son had the "beef benedict" with shredded beef, which, again, was a little unusual, but he said it was good. Service and staff were attentive and pleasant. It is a very convenient place for a nice brunch. We will be trying it for dinner sometime.

Sogno di Vino - Poulsbo, WA…read more We had an excellent meal at Sogno di Vino on their beautiful outdoor patio! The setting under the big tree with string lights was charming and made for a perfect sunny summer afternoon. We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh, bright, and nicely finished with a balsamic drizzle. For our main dishes, we ordered two versions of the Linguini alla Checca: one loaded with large, perfectly grilled shrimp and the other topped with seared ling cod. Both pastas were light, flavorful, and beautifully executed with sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and generous shaved parmesan. The seafood was cooked just right and really stood out. We also shared a con carne pizza piled with Pepperoni, Fennel Sausage, Salami, Pancetta, Mozzarella, and Goat Cheese. YUM!!! It had a great crust with nice char and tasted fantastic. Everything arrived hot and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and attentive, and dining on the patio was a real highlight. If you're in Poulsbo and looking for solid Italian food in a relaxed outdoor setting, Sogno di Vino is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

This review will be a bit long, but I feel it's important to acknowledge when businesses go well above and beyond... into orbit in this case. Not only did they work to exceed expectations, but to set the ultimate standard for customer service and to demonstrate a commitment to caring for people beyond the customer-business relationship. This post is also a message both as an endorsement for diners, but also an advisory to every other business in this county. Take note - this is a roadmap for how you win forever customers: Last Saturday, my daughter got married in Poulsbo, in a ceremony that involved guests from Alaska, California, and Colorado. On the Sunday morning afterward, my wife Gayle and I threw a brunch celebration for our out of town guests as a thank you for making the journey for our daughter's special day. We made the reservation back in February in order to ensure they would have room for 20+ guests. At some point between then and now, Sully's decided to stop serving brunch. We didn't need to be their problem. It would have been easy to call or email us and let us know that our plans would have to change... with sincere apologies and an explanation as to why - blah blah blah, and with enough notice to get a reservation elsewhere, maybe. They didn't. In fact, they didn't even tell us they'd stopped brunch service. Some of our guests were calling us and asking: "Hey, Google says they're closed. Are you sure about this?" We didn't know, but figured we'd show up and find out. Instead, Sully's made sure to have enough staff a few hours early on Sunday, enough food, broke out the old brunch recipe book and dusted it off, and cleared the patio and set it up. All of that work just to ensure our guests had brunch. And a fabulous time. This was solely for our benefit. They weren't going to make a lot of money on just our party. Truth be told, they might have even lost some on it. They could have just shrugged us off. But they honored their commitment, even though it was a hassle, and a lot of extra work. Even though it meant knowing they'd have to special order food just for us, even though it meant more expense. And - not to belabor the point - they trusted US to honor *our* agreement to come. They hadn't taken a deposit. We could have ghosted them, especially if we'd believed Google's page saying they were closed. After all, we were strangers to them. But they treated us like family. And then... ...they crushed it with the food, the drinks, the service. They setup a special U-shaped table, complete with linens and flowers, and showcased a view of the Duwamish Sea that is unmatched in Kitsap County dining. I'd list all the food items and give a review - each one a culinary gem. But that would be cruel. I'd be bragging about food we had that won't be available to the community at large again (unless they bring back brunch... pretty please). No, what I wanted to call out was how deeply touched my wife and I were at their willingness to honor their promise, our reservation, and then go the extra mile to make it special. They didn't have to. But they did. And our guests were incredibly impressed, both with the food and the service. Thank you, with our whole heart, to the people of Sully's... from the owner on down to the staff. You made our day so very special. And while they may not serve brunch anymore... I urge you to go there for lunch or dinner. Support a restaurant that demonstrates loves for its community through its actions, not just words or fancy FB posts. And get the wings! (My personal fave) You won't regret it. Cheers to you, Sully's! We'll be diners with you for life.

Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Our server, Jennifer Burnett, was noticeably warm and attentive to another group nearby, but with us, the service felt dismissive and disengaged. For example, my husband ordered an Aperol spritz, and when they were out, we substituted Campari--but what arrived resembled a raspberry sparkling water, not even close to what Campari tastes like. When we brought it up, the response felt very brushed off. It's disappointing because the setting and food have so much potential, but service matters. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere in Poulsbo--there are plenty of great spots along the main strip that offer both good food and a better overall experience.
