I am not sure how this place is getting high reviews. Service and staff were good. But this place is called flapjacks. Most meals you get a side of pancakes to go with your order. They must cook these at 6 am and hand them out as breakfast goes on. They were flavorless and dry. Worts pancakes ever. The four of us left with a tab of $55 and all ordered water. We had the skillet meals and they came with flavorless biscuits with unseasoned hash browns. Won't return. read more

Flapjacks was super yummy! When we walked in, we were told it would take 15 minutes for our table to be cleaned and they would text us to let us know when it was ready. We walked back to our cars and then got a text immediately saying our table was ready, so probably a 3 minute wait instead of 15. I usually order an omelet for breakfast because I'm obsessed and was super excited to get one here but they didn't serve salsa with their omelets so I had to change my game plan. (Because who can eat an omelet without salsa???) so I was panicking trying to hurry and pick something so I didn't hold our waitress us and she suggested I get the Walkers Cabin Skillet because it's their best seller so I agreed and she left the table. As we were waiting on our food, my husband asked me what I ordered and I go back to my picture of the menu to read the description and I panicked a little (and he started cracking up) when I read that my food was gonna be smothered with gravy, because I don't like gravy lol. I figured it was too late to ask her to change it so I just dealt with it. When it arrived, it was in fact smothered in gravy. I decided to stop being picky and try to eat it anyway and I ended up almost eating the whole thing because it was that good! The pancakes were pretty delicious too. My husband got the smothered chicken and omg, idk what they use to bread their chicken but it was SO GOOD! Waitress was super sweet and fast for how packed they were. The kids waffles were huge and he enjoyed them. Disappointing doesn't even describe this visit properly. It's so sad because we came the day before and the food and our waitress was so kind. We tried to bring our kids back the next day and the staff at the door was incredibly rude. They have some rule about how they can't seat you if you don't have your whole party present. We had 4/5 with the other within 10 minutes of arriving. They refused to seat us and we're incredibly rude about it. We even offered to order her drink and food at the same rate as us sitting down because they complained that if she sat down later than us it would throw off their timing. But nope. Made us watch them seat a party of 10, 8, 2, 5 and 8 before we said enough of it and left. We will never go back.
