I called scheduled in person estimate for my mom's moving at 2pm , on the day of estimate, I drove 1 hour all the way from South SJ to Union City to meet the estimate person , and due to traffic, i called 1 hour prior to the appointment time delayed the appointment to 3pm since i will be 10 min. late due to traffic, they answered call immediately and called me back confirmed new appointment time at 3pm. 3:15 no one showed up, i called , no one answer, 3.25pm no one show up, called repeatedly no one answer, left message no one call back. 3.35pm, they contact me thru text message and told me the person suppose to come can not make it, and asking if i can make a video of my home and give me a quote, and offer me 10% discount. If I m willing to accept estimate thru video , why i would have all the trouble drive thru traffic to meet for in person estimate? I knew, if i never call them to asking where is the person , they will never call me to notify me the no show, i will be there waiting forever . That is just not acceptable kind of service. i respect your time by call you even just for 10 min delay and it is really okay if you can not make it or have any kind of emergency that you have to cancel. But , it is REALLY NOT OKAY that you do NOT call to notify me, even avoiding calls from me. This is really shows the kind of service you have, which i am very fortunate not using your company for this job. read more

I used Flash Movers to vacate my deceased relative's apartment at short notice. I was flying in from out of state and had asked for quotes to pack and get rid of everything in the apartment. Flash Movers gave me an initial estimate based on pictures of the apartment. On Tuesday, they offered to look at the apartment. I was still packing when they arrived. They offered to pack up the rest and haul everything at a rate that was half the price of what other services were quoting for just picking up. I couldn't have asked for smoother/better service. Flash Movers was recommended to us by another 5 star mover that was booked solid (After the original one we booked had us booked for the wrong month!). They're a family run business and not only did they come to us same day, but we were their second job, I would have never have guessed. They worked SO HARD and SOOOO FAST. We were literally shocked. They packed in half the time we had allotted, they dissembled our bed frames and our desks and put them back together; I was in awe. These guys came to our job, polite, energetic and worked with such care, I could not believe. They wrapped all our furniture so well, I was amazed. I couldn't help but praise them the entire time. I honestly think these guys are some of the best movers out there. I figure in every move, something gets broken, it's just the nature of the game, not the case- everything arrived in perfect condition. I cannot speak of them highly enough. Side note, watching these guys work, I implore you, it goes without saying they deserve a tip, and these guys, with their speed, their care and their attitude- they deserve every ounce of their tip-- please tip them appropriately for all their hard work, especially in this up and coming summer heat. (Not to mention, they happen to find some bolts they thought might have come from one of our boxes and went above and beyond to return them to us. These guys are ontime, swift, careful with your further, work fast and don't even take breaks. They are professionals and I would definitely use their service again. You are forced to pick between an hourly rate which is reasonable in price or flat rate for peace of mind. I chose flat because the person I was dealing with said I could not go with the hourly and if it takes more than 4 hours then I get the flat rate. The reason for the upfront selection which they could not explain is because they probably work differently if you don't go with the flat rate. Communication was great and straightforward. The three movers who arrived were fast and professional, and all the furniture was moved quickly and well. This included some pieces that needed assembly and disassembly, like an L-shaped desk and an L-shaped couch. The price was fantastic for the service received! The only disappointment is that some studs from an IKEA tv stand were lost somewhere in the truck - I'd suggest securing those sorts of small pieces yourself, but the stand is still good and functional, and arrived in much better condition than if we were trying to move it ourselves. read more

Flash Movers moved my staff (three bedroom house) two days ago. I am very happy with how it went. Took eight hours from start to finish: expert packing, loading, driving (short distance, local move), unloading, unwrapping. This includes having to make two trips because my driveway would not accommodate a truck larger than 16". Two extra nice points: 1. their hourly rate was 25% less than the next lowest quote I got and 50% less than the highest quote I got. 2. after they completed unloading the first trip, they offered to leave one of their three guys at the new house to keep unwrapping while the other two would go back for the second trip. I would highly recommend Flash Movers for your moving needs; they had 3 movers to help with the process and they were quick as my husband told me as he was with them at the apartment. They started at 9 and I want to say they got to our new house by 11ish, my memory is off from all the unpacking. They unloaded in such a quick manner too and had an organized way of doing it and they brought up what was needed to the bedrooms. They securely wrapped up our couch and anything that needed it and picked up any odd and ends stuff in their boxes.
