With fast and friendly service I started out with the nachos, which had queso cheese. Black beans ,olives, red bell peppers and green onions and was delish. Then I received my amazing cheddar jack cheese ,onion ,red bell pepper and corn Quesadilla. Then lastly came this huge 16" Margherita pizza of fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil and marinara sauce. It was hot, tasty with the right amount of cheeseyness .

I started with a starter of the queso cheese, black beans, olives, onion , red pepper nachos they were huge, hot and tasty. With speedy service and a smile I received my quesadilla that had cheese, onion, peppers, corn and onions it was fantastic. Then came my Margherita Pizza which was hot with mozzarella, basil, tomatos, and marinara sauce. It had the right amount of cheese and sauce and was so delicious.

Amazing place for drinks and a great time. I also got a huge pizza (bigger than my stomach!) while my boyfriend enjoyed the angus burger. We had the $5 mimosas and sangrias. The people who work there, Lauren was amazing. She recommended us a great place after closing. She made us feel welcomed as tourists and made our anniversary special. Love the place, we WILL be back again -Love from Tampa, Florida

We stomped on this place on the way back to our hotel and it's The worst restaurant ever. Everything takes forever . Plenty of tables but we wait over an hour to be seated. Once sit down still take forever for our service. Same with drinks... take forever to get simple margarita with no salt but tastes like salt water with bad can of lime juice and frozen blueberry twist supposedly with blueberry purée but came with overwhelming blueberry syrup. Ordered everything to come out together but only get bang bang shrimp first with another 20 minutes wait for the rest. We also ordered angus burger and lobster + shrimp pasta that cost $27 with 2 piece of a thumb size of lobster and rubbery 5 piece of shrimp . Alfredo sauce is a watery soup like and tastes nothing like Alfredo. Don't waste your time here. Walk across the street you might be able to find something better. Should have take some more pics but it was so bad that we don't really care for it.

Quick service in a Saturday around lunch. We had a meat lovers pizza and coconut shrimp. Served quickly inside where it was air conditioned-whew!

Quickest meal I have ever had! Literally sat down, ordered, and got my order all within 20 minutes... and it was delicious! A casual spot for a 'quick meal' right in the popular spot of town. We went at 8:00 pm when I thought it would be busy, and again the service was so fast and efficient I was so pleasantly surprised! I got the California Dreamin' pizza, and I actually ate every last bite. Phone eats first in this situation because I was so hungry (lol)! Friendly staff and order came out quick with live music on Monday.. what more can you really ask for on the beach... am I right?!

My DH and I decided to come over to the Coligny Beach area for dinner so we chose Flatbreads. This area is very beach casual and touristy so keep that in mind. It wasn't crowded for Labor Day weekend and we chose to be seated on the patio. The many outdoor fans kept us pleasantly comfortable. Our server was courteous and prompt. We ordered a few drinks (that came right out) and a pizza to split. The pizza was very thin crust (which is not a negative) and a solid 4. We arrived just before happy hour ended which was great because by 6:30pm there was a line to be seated. Just know that the attire is very beach causal and could be offensive to some with small children (we are not prudes but I'm trying to have a meal here). Overall, there are so many restaurants on HHI that it's challenging just to pick 1 a night. There are many pizza alternatives if you want a less causal restaurant.

The restraunt is placed at a great location and serves a variety of dishes. We tried kids cheese pizza which was pretty good. Right amount of cheese and crisp. Tried Pasta primavera with chicken and also another with shrimp, pasta was low on salt and veggies felt bland as well as the meat. We tried buffalo wrap with sweet potato fries, although the wrap was decent enough but most of the fries were undercooked. Service was good and fast but food left us wanting more.

Never seen or heard of a pizza cone... Sounds interesting...

It doesn't feel corporate or manufactured at all. More like you've stumbled into somebody's lovingly chaotic backyard dinner party where the food just happens to be genuinely top-tier. The mismatched charm, handwritten feel, and warm atmosphere are part of what makes it so special. There's this brilliant contrast between the laid-back hole-in-the-wall vibe and the seriously refined cooking coming out of the kitchen. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were incredibly tender, fried perfectly, and drizzled with a lovely house-made ranch. The sweet house pickles alongside were such a good touch. We also each had a cup of she crab soup which was beautifully seasoned and packed with tonnes of crab morsels. For mains, we shared the shrimp and grits and completely understood why the recipe has won awards, including being recognised as the 3rd best in the world. The recipe is rooted in traditional Lowcountry cooking but elevated with layers of flavour that somehow still feel comforting and homemade. The grits were unbelievably creamy, and the shrimp and sausage were perfectly cooked with fantastic flavour throughout. We also split the seafood purloo with blackened grouper, and it was equally impressive. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh without trying too hard to be fancy. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond. They took time to chat with us about the area, paced the courses perfectly so nothing felt rushed, and by the end we were leaving with handshakes feeling more like guests than customers. Places like this are getting harder to find. We'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lowcountry food served by genuinely wonderful people.

We were lucky to get seated outside because the live music and views were immaculate. The oysters were super fresh.. so fresh in fact we found a little crab in one of them. The high-tops outside are great because they're completely covered, while the tables with umbrellas still get sun depending on where the sun is. They have several powerful fans outdoors plus the seating is comfortable with a great view of the trees, boat, and water. The crab punch cocktail was good, but the crab coconut rum tasted a little odd to me (their exclusive brand). I preferred the salty Chihuahua cocktail. All drinks are thankfully strong (everywhere else on the island they were weak). The Jalapeño hush puppies seem like they are made in-house, and they're very flavorful & crunchy. The hush puppies came with honey butter which was also amazing. The lunch grilled grouper fish taco was delicious & fresh. The salsa on it was very flavorful! The house-made potato chips are also great. Service was great (not rushed). They do need drink coasters (water was all over the table). We came back for dinner. They had live music. Abby& Taylor were the two different servers we had and they were both amazing. They did not rush us. The fried green tomatoes were very good with lots of pimento cheese and crunchy unlike the ones we had at Old Oyster Factory. The pineapple Mojito was good. Overall great experience!

Starting with the burger, I like when a smash burger is ACTUALLY a smash burger. They include cheese and pickles on it and it was just the perfect burger. I think it's pretty high on my burger rankings. Might even beat Heavy's! I feel like it's rare to get waffle fries unless you're going to Chick Fil A, so it was nice to have them with our burger. We got a bag to share and there was plenty. They were salted and seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy. We sat outside where they have a full bar, a TV for sports, and they had live music.

This is genuinely one of the best burgers around. The waffle fries deserve a special mention: fresh, nicely done, and you get a generous portion. Think Chick-fil-A fries, but the way they should be. The Truffle Fries are solid too -- just a bit rich for my taste, but that's purely personal preference. I also tried the Sweet & Spicy Chicken -- good and flavorful, though slightly heavy on the batter for me. Still worth a try. A Couple of Suggestions: A lower-carb side option would be a welcome addition -- I asked and it was a hard no. Hopefully Tin and Tallow considers adding some healthier alternatives down the road. Breakfast -- Proceed with Caution: The croissant with egg and cheese was, unfortunately, a miss for me. The egg and cheese were fine, but buttering an already butter-heavy croissant and griddling it turned it into a flat, gooey mess. I hear there's a biscuit option, which might be better -- but personally, I'd love to see an English muffin or bagel on the menu. Something with a little more structure would go a long way. Bottom Line: Come for the burgers and fries -- you won't be disappointed. Just maybe skip the croissant breakfast for now.

Hilton Head Island has seen some changes in food offerings in the last decade, but fresh and new American fusion isn't common. Enter Chow Daddy's. With two locations (the other in Bluffton) we hit this one on Hilton Head. It's a risky place to put a restaurant, buried in the back plaza of a nondescript but high-end shopping center deeeep in the wooded neighborhoods of the island's Southern tip. If you're staying elsewhere on the island, you'll find you have to pay a small fee to access Sea Pines but many people do to get to the Salty Dog Cafe as well. While it may not get a lot of visibility, it is definitely worth seeking out for the very good Latin American cuisine being offered. Out party of five arrived on an August Friday evening after making reservations and were impressed with the cleanliness and upscale minimalist vibe. Dark booths and Edison-style lighting are offset by the daylight let in by picture windows. There is outside seating in the patio (very pleasant in the shade) and a small bar open off the host area. Inside seating is large enough for bigger parties of 6-8. Definitely not a post-beach day place, but perfect for date night, or more dressy family dinner out. Service was quick and talkative; we enjoy chatting beyond food with out severs which makes the experience even better. Apps and mains were delivered quickly with good presentation. We started with the fine fresh corn dip - extra tortillas were helpful to get the last bits. Mains included a fresh and well pattied cheesburger, mix-n-match tacos and two specialty bowls - cajun shrimp with spicy fine fat prawns and an Ahi-tuna poke style bowl. The rice in both was excellent and the portions were perfect. I'll try to un-hide this hidden star with this review and encourage you to seek it out if you live on "HHi" or make your next visit. I came here with a bunch of friends from my undergraduate research lab while we were in Hilton Head presenting at a conference. We had rented a condo to all stay together and this place was in walking distance, so we headed over. I don't remember what all everyone else got to eat, or much about the service, but I do remember it was a total vibe. Beachy decorations that were fun but still classy and not too kitschy, warm lighting, good music. I ordered an item probably not even on their menu anymore: pulled barbeque chicken on a hunk of spicy cornbread with a side salad. I checked online and it's nowhere to be found, but it slapped at the time, and from pictures it seems like you can still maybe order their spicy cornbread at least, which was the best part! It had a great cakey texture and some legit heat. The chicken was succulent and tender and the smokiness paired well with the salad. It seems Chow Daddy's enjoyed a decade of success after my visit so long ago. I hope the temporary closure listed on the Yelp page doesn't turn into a permanent one. It was a pleasant surprise to be reminded of this visit and my time with friends.

Every sub was a hit, but the real standout was the bread. It was hands down one of the best parts of the meal--fresh, flavorful, and honestly addictive. As someone who loves Jersey Mike's bread, this was far superior. We paired our subs with Vick's chips and sodas, which rounded everything out perfectly. We sat inside since the outdoor seating was full, and the interior was filled with memorabilia and details that really told the story of the place and added to the experience.
