Ugh delicious. The bread was soft and the flavor of their sundried aioli is amazing. I'm not a big fan of aioli so I always order it on the side and I'm glad I did. This aioli is heavy on the sundried tomato and very light on the Mayo! Perfect and had I know I would've told it them slather it on lol We also had the drip coffee and a latte. I used to like this place. This morning they gave me a broken container that cut my finger, and a terribly made espresso drink. If you go and see a gentleman barista with dark hair and glasses leave. Don't mind that this cafe location is part of a "chain". I know a lot of people tend to write places off like Flour because there are several in the city alone, but I appreciate the all around consistency of the menu items at each location, and this one is my favorite! Staff is always upbeat and helpful, the seating and ambience options are great (overlooking Beacon Hill), and of course menu is fabulous. We wanted to have some pastries for brunch before embarking on a long day of walking and exploring. I was worried about lines and wait times given all the reviews, but thankfully it wasn't too packed at around 11 am on a Wednesday. There was basically no line, and we were able to comfortably sit upstairs to enjoy our treats. The sticky bun and the apple pop tart were absolutely delicious! The sticky bun reminded me of a cinnamon bun and a pecan pie rolled into one. The apple pop tart was the perfect balance of textures and sweetness. It is delicious and I highly highly recommend. They have wifi, indoor seating, outdoor seating and outlets scattered here and there. I first discovered flour while attending a conference in Boston in 2018. I was so obsessed with their simple, yet excellently done sandwiches and pastries, that I went 3 days in a row! We now have 2 Flour dessert cookbooks at home, and their recipes are our favorites. I recently went back to Boston and of course managed multiple trips to Flour. Everything was fantastic and the service was always friendly! It was perfect wether during our visit and we enjoying the outdoor dining spaces. We have yet to order something off the menu we didn't like, but our current favorites are: Breakfast: Egg Sandwich, Granola & Berry Parfait, Cold Brew Lunch: Chicken and Broccoli Rabe Panini, Roast Beef Sandwich Pastries: Double chocolate cookie, chocolate cupcake, brown butter rice crispy treat. I typically only eat chocolate based desserts, so the rice crispy treats are a shocking departure. Found this place on maps while waiting for someone at the hospital. Was pleasantly surprised at how good their breakfast sandwich was. Bun was fresh, egg soufflé was a nice change. Such an amazing place for coffee breakfast and lunch. We have come here several times and each time has been amazing! The service is great and the place is so cute and clean!!! One of the best lattes in town and the avocado toast was perfect. The poached egg was perfectly done. It does have cilantro on it, so if you don't like cilantro, be sure to ask for it without it. This was a very pleasant surprise. I had to drive someone to MGH so I had to waste an hour. I decided to drive around for a little bit but there happened to be a parking spot out in front of Flour. I decided to park and go grab an iced coffee. I thought it was just a bakery but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they make beautiful sandwiches. I looked over the menu and I decided on the homemade hummus sandwich. It was described as homemade hummus, pickled daikon, cucumber, onion, cilantro, vegan Sriracha aïoli on focaccia. Well being as this was my first time here as I was checking out the price is a little high but I'll tell you the sandwich was delicious so it was worth every penny. As I was saying upon check out they asked me if I wanted to sit outside upstairs or over to the left they have a little sitting area so I said outside it was a beautiful day today they gave me a number to put on the table and they will bring my sandwich out to me. My iced coffee was handed to me as I was paying. I sat down outside, had a sip or two of coffee and my sandwich arrived promptly, the young man that delivered it was very polite. Definitely I think this would be a place for you to visit. Oh, don't let me forget the focaccia my God it was soft tasty one of the best focaccias I've had. Great cafe, very busy on Sunday mornings. The staff was extremely friendly. We wanted to order all of the treats on display but ended up ordering the achiote chicken sandwich, quiche of the day and a croissant. The croissant was perfectly fluffy, warm and buttery. The Achiote sandwich was a little disappointing, it was very bland and could have used a lot more seasoning. We had order the mushroom spinach fontina quiche but after devouring the quiche we realized we had been given the bacon, caramelized onion and goat cheese quiche. We were okay with the mix up because what we got was so delicious and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. Service was not great. I went here to purchase a tea. The total with tax was $3.75. I gave the cashier $20.75 and he kept giving me back 50cents telling me it was too much change. I tried explaining that he was wrong and all I needed back was $17, and then a rude lady behind the counter said "no he's right $3.75 is your change"...... this then caused the man in line behind me to tell me to just get out of the way and he would pay for mine as he was in a rush. I'm not sure that I understand the allure of Flour Bakery when the items are overpriced with a wait time upwards of 30 mins. I made the mistake of standing in line for a pastry ($3 for a cookie) and a coffee. With just three people ahead of me, it was a 20 min total wait. Ok, I get that the place is SUPER Busy. But Im not sure why there arent enough staff to take or make orders esp during peak hours? For my next experience, I was sure to order ahead to avoid the wait, (a latte will cost you $5+) and before placing my order, the app tells me the estimated wait time is 30 mins.. West End clearly needs more coffee shops if everyone is flocking here, or Flour needs to improve its ordering queue somehow. Will stick to Starbucks across the street for now. read more

Legit love this bakery and everything that they make. I was already a fan and with the new location, I've been there way too many times to count. All of the items are presented very nicely behind a glass case. The online ordering system is easy to use and would highly recommend to join the flour rewards app. You'll get rewards of free items or a discount upon joining, randomly, and when you've hit the number of visits. Bonus! The staff is friendly and ordering and or pickup at the bakery is easy and streamlined. Check out their holiday items as well. Great cakes and savory treats. My favorite best savory item is the Parmesan chive scone and the currently ham and cheese croissant. The sweets are very good as well and are not overly sugary. read more

The bread and sauce on this BLT were outstanding! I felt like the arugula was an odd choice of lettuce and gave it a spice and bitterness I didn't care for. No problem though, I just picked it off, and carried on with this deliciousness! There is no dine in still, due to Covid. I ordered at the counter and there was ample socially distanced seating to wait. It took about 7 minutes for my sandwich to be ready. I think that's a quick amount of time to wait for a sandwich of this type. The location is very convenient to the hospital, to grab and go. Staff was friendly. Environment was super clean and organized looking. I will try something else on the menu this week. read more
